Satisfied customer
Clean and tidy hotel, friendly owners, five parking bays outside, within very reasonable walking distance of the town centre and a good breakfast in the morning too for a very reasonable price.
Brilliant B&B. Fantastic breakfast. Loomi g forward to staying there again.
The hosts were excellent and room was quite small but adequate for a single person and breakfast was excellent with good quality ingredients
Great stay
My second visit her and was just as amazing, bed was lovely and comfortable. Also hosts were very good and breakfast was really lovely .
Really lovely place to stay and the owners Roger and Alison were so friendly and welcoming. Only negative was that the rooms got chilly after the heating went off in the evening and before it came on in the morning. I'm used to wrapping up under a fleece blanket at home but outside of the bed it was cold particularly in the bathroom area.
Good stay
Good contact before visit to ensure I was happy with arrangements. Great and welcoming reception on arrival. Comfortable stay and good breakfast. Thanks
Worth Staying
Very pleasant guest house, friendly staff, good facilities (shower was good), off street parking, and close to local amenities.
Very friendly,great little hotel
When you find a little gem you sometimes want to keep it to yourself, but this little hotel deserves to be full all the time.Well situated, parking right outside and a stroll to the beach.Very welcoming reception, very comfy room, big bed and fabulous breakfast. Recommendations for places to eat were spot on and the owners could not do more to make your stay fabulous.
stayed one night as went to see a show breakfast was very appetizeing owners of the hotel welcomed us and were very informative of the area telling us about the history of Skegness we would certainly stay there again it took us 20 minutes to walk to the centre of the town but there was a good bus service every fifteen minutes anne sheppard nottingham
mid week break
When I arrived I was greeted with a warm smile and a friendly hand shake. I was given all the details of breakfast times where my room was located, other facilities that where available, the room was very well decorated, toilet & shower room was clean and tidy, sufficient clothing space. the breakfast was very nice. The Hosts Roger & Alison were friendly towards there guests very Knowledgeable of the surrounding area and always polite. a very nice stay thank you
Great value for money B&B
I had a really good stay at the Southwold. The owners were helpful and friendly and the B&B was clean and tidy. The breakfasts in the morning were also large and tasty. I had the single room right up on the top floor, which was up a normal flight of stairs, then a second steeper set which I didn't mind but others may have trouble with. I also had a separate large bathroom, which was on the other side of the landing. However this was no trouble for me. There was a bit of a walk to the pier and the town centre, but its not too far. If you need anything there is a shop around the corner. The price for the stay was excellent, as I payed much less than what I had before to stay in Skegness. Overall I had a great stay, even if the weather was not so good!
