Location is perfect, rooms are clean, staff are friendly

The service/staff at the facility were excellent. They were very kind and helpful throughout. They also gave me 2 days of complimentary breakfast when my wife had to leave earlier than me and I was alone during that time. This was very thoughtful of them. The location is great for the area, 5 min walk to istiklal Street and also a 10 min walk to local buses. It briefly got a little loud on one of the weekend nights because people were playing music loudly outside. But generally it's a small narrow street so really very little traffic noise from outside if at all. The bathroom doors are "transparent" though very thick and blurred so you cannot really see through. They arranged the lighting in a way that no one can actually see someone's shape/shadow when they are showering. But still someone may feel a little uncomfortable with it if they are not a couple (I was in the double bed room for 2 people). All in all it's really an excellent hotel, with excellent staff, amenities, and breakfast.

I liked the interior and location, but I was on the second floor, where the little restaurant is, so instead of having a good sleep on my vacation, the noise woke me up every morning at 6!! It’s also noisy at night! TV channels are poor while AC kept going on and off all night!

Perfect location for my 3 days stay in Istanbul. Walking distance to lots of restaurants and shopping located in famous istanbul street”Istiklal”. Staff is friendly, knowledgeable, accomodating. Will help you book restaurants and tours as well as other attractions. Will definitely stay again!!!!!

Excellent place to stay!

We loved our stay at this comfortable and beautiful hotel. The room was spacious and modern and the location was close to bars and restaurants. The staff was great and very friendly. I would stay here again.

Nice Boutique Hotel in Taksim

Staff were extremely polite and welcoming. General cleanliness of the hotel was very high. There was a decent selection of self serve breakfast on offer with cold meats, pastry, fruit, cereal, etc. There was a small menu to order eggs, waffle and pancakes. Rooms were also clean with extremely comfortable beds and pillows, which was a delight after long days exploring Istanbul. Only down side is there is no wardrobes or rails to hang clothes so you’ll be living out of a suitcase whilst you stay at this hotel. Some rooms were a little smaller than others.

I loved staying at the Soul Hotel. The staff was so nice and helpful. I was a solo traveler so the hotel room was small but it was the perfect size for me. I felt safe on the hotel's location and it was near public transportation for the tourist attractions. The only thing is that my window was by the outside fire escape stairwell so I was just a little nervous about that.

We enjoyed our stay, nice rooms, not very big but great water pressure in the shower and bathrooms. Great location, central but not too loud

Great weekend stay

Great central location, but away from the ‘tourist’ spot. Clean (couldn’t fault it!), well-kept building, with friendly staff. If you’re looking for somewhere other than a branded name, give this place a try.

A little soul

Hotel room was lovely. Street is quite noisy and sadly we didn’t sleep so well. For those who like a dark room, while there are black out blinds, there are not in the adjoining bathroom with a glass wall to the bedroom so all the light streams in making the other blackouts pointless. Staff were ok but not out of this world.

The room was great. In that area you will always hear some street noise, no matter which hotel you book, but the noise was minimal. Bed was very comfortable. Wish i found the hotel earlier. Staff were very nice and attentive. Offering taxis or help without prompting.

Design Room

I booked Design Room, it was simply amazing, as beautiful as you see in the picture, spacious and most importantly clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The street might get a little noisy on the weekend, I could hear it from the second floor, but the windows are sound proof, once they are closed you hear nothing. Breakfast area is a little small but charming.

Great property with a reasonable price. Close proximity to major sightseeing places.

Cute hotel with nice rooms. Great location got there on a Saturday when the bar up the street has tons of people outside and my room plus my other family members rooms were still nice and quiet!

Had a great time in Istanbul staying at The Soul. The room was great, all the staff were very friendly and super helpful, and the location was just perfect! Very centrally located and easy to walk to Istiklal Street, Galatport and Cihangir. We didn't include breakfast in our booking but there are plenty of coffee shops close by. All in all a wonderful stay in Istanbul and highly recommend.

I was extremely exhausted from an international flight and arrived at the hotel at 2 am. The hotel receptionist was super fast with providing a room and while the only one available was the one next to the reception desk, the receptionist assured me him and his crew would ensure there would be no noise from the lobby. He was kind as was the elder man who assisted me with my luggage. I had the best sleep in Soul Hotel that night because the bedding was beyond belief comfortable. Thank you for being so welcoming and having staff that smile.

Hotel was absolutely beautiful (and safe) that I kept extending my stay by the day. Beds were very comfortable. Special thanks to Murat, Mesut, Nizam and Lala for their hospitality and kindness. A couple of downsides: Grabbing a taxi was extremely difficult when trying to go to Sultanahmet or anywhere far. Also, I think breakfast should be included with the price we are paying. Most, if not all, hotels with similar price points in Istanbul have breakfast included. Overall, though, I was quite pleased my stays. :)

Special, above and beyond gem hotel

Incredible, really. Most important - the staff. From the moment they greeted me outside to the very end, polite, attentive, kind. And they went above and beyond. Fetching me a razor from outside, and after the trip, Lala from the front desk went ABOVE AND BEYOND to resolve a baggage issue with the taxi company who took me to the airport. She did so with grace and efficiency, and eased my mind. Otherwise - this is the best location, quiet, but a stone’s throw from Cihangir and Istiklal street. A quirky neighborhood with locals and tourists both. This boutique hotel is in a historic building, and has packed in ALL the best of a five-star hotel. From sheets to cleanliness, robes, balcony, efficient keys - everything is just spot on. And it’s quite beautiful. I was lucky to have a spacious balcony with greenery outside. I will always stay here when I am in the area. I cannot remember all names of those who helped, but everyone was great.

Very cute and cozy boutique hotel in a great location and even better staff. They were extremely accommodating and pleasant to deal with which made our stay even more enjoyable. The rooms are on the smaller side but that wasn’t an issue for us. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Great location. Clean comfortable rooms. They made a call and a nurse arrived to give us a PCR test within an hour. Breakfast was good.

Good base in Istanbul

A new hotel in Taksim, super nice and boutique style. Beds were very soft but other than that everything was clean and comfortable

In a nutshell we checked out 1 hour after check in and we had to go to a different hotel. We arrived for our honeymoon and had to wait for check-in for hours which we didn’t mind. But then they had put us in a room that was literally outside the door and the reception area. When we told them it would be noisy and wanted to change our room they told us they had 1 room on the fourth floor however the elevator was broken and they didn’t know when it could be fixed so for that reason we decided to stay in the room that was outside the entrance. The first thing we noticed in that room was spiderwebs all over the bathroom and the room itself because we were so tired we decided to ignore the uncleanliness of the room and started washing up only to discover that the sink in the bathroom was flooding. Over all unpleasant experience. The room was too noisy to be outside by the entrance with windows to the street where taxi drivers honk 24/7 non stop.

Loved my stay in this hotel! Loved all the staff especially Onur, chef Hassan .. . very convenient location…the environment of this very cute and neat hotel made my stay feel very welcoming and memorable, as well as it made me feel like a sultana

Was best choice to stay here! Everyone was so perfect! The location and the staffs were friendly! I did really enjoy myself here! It met my expectations

I lovely new property in the heart of an artsy district surrounded on all side my cafes, restaurants and antique shops. The staff bent over backward to ensure all my needs were cared for and all are to be commended highly. The breakfast was very good too. My 3 day stay turned into 8 days and I would have stayed longer if they had room. I'll be back!
