good and bad but it fit for me
I've stayed twice now at The Prince Charles Hotel. It is a really nice new clean building, with comfortable beds. But it's in an odd location far from almost everything (it was close to a residence I was visiting). But it's so quirky- some rooms have no external windows. There are usually no hangers in the wardrobe, or available at reception. In your room you can hear everything echoing in the hallway. The shower is an eight-headed sprayer on the wall of the bathroom, so EVERYTHING in the bathroom gets wet (protect your toilet paper!) and I worried about the two bare wires coming out of the wall in lieu of an outlet. I can't figure out what's on TV so I turned it off. The room has a bright ceiling light, but no desk or reading light, so it's bright as day or dark as night. Breakfast is also odd- lots of toast, but no butter or margarine or jam or honey; when we asked for butter we got a slab of what appears to be vegetable shortening. No juice. The scrambled egg was good. I'll probably stay here again for the convenience, but wanted to let y'all know what to expect.
