Good property to stay

Booked online for 3 nights and requested if I can only do 2 nights instead as my plans changed but the folks weren’t open to it. I could have gone somewhere else but had my family from a long trip ready to hit the sack. It’s a very old property and they definitely can do some much needed upgrades and cleanliness. The condensate from the AC was leaking inside the room.

Front desk staff were super unfriendly.... hotel was not clean and not worth the money.

Front desk service was slow and my room was dirty. Food was ok in the restaurant. Restroom is far away from the restaurant.

Stay Away

It is badly maintained overproduced hotels. Leaking faucets, flooded bathroom, shabby condition of fumigate and all fixtures, non functional electrical and what not.

Great staff. The restaurant is under renovations and food choices are limited

The team specially restaurant team was not very supportive. I had missed breakfast due to wrong communication on BF timings.

Great Potential but needs significant improvement

Average. The Bathrooms need a lot of repair work. There was water clogging everytime and spiders crawling around. The Hotel did get a deep cleaning done but the issue was not resolved. Till the last day, we had spiders in the loo. The TV had 1 channel working. There was 1 Coffee Mug in the Room. We ordered breakfast one morning which took forever and when we got the food, it was below average to say the least. Housekeeping however was spot on every single day and there were no reminders required which was good.

Certainly not a 5* experience!

I had booked the room with Sea View, I was given ground floor, which I declined, then they moved me to 1st floor, informing me that it was an upgrade, honestly, it was not. I didn't mind since I was staying for a half day and night, early morning I was out. I did not expect this from 5* property. Also, some of the amenities were missing, which I had to call for from Reception. The bell was not functioning, shower hose was corroded, bathroom wooden door won't close, maybe due to the hotel being on seaside or old property.

Property need to be clean and hygiene maintained during Covid time. Staff & house keeping need to wear masks at least during entering room. Kitchen need to take write order & should not send left overs from Kitchen during night. Food ordered is not fresh but billed on 5 star basis.

It’s top most terrible hotel and there are no hygiene. We didn’t stay here. Just checked in and immediately checked out.

I dont feel this is a 4 star hotel, rooms needs to be remodeled ,staff was good.

Stay wasnt as I expected. Major drawbacks were: 1. There is way to much noise into teh room from adjacent areas ( late night loud music ) and furniture dragging sounds. Did not expect this from a STAR resort 2. Food is just so so. Hardly anything related to what Vizag has to offer. 3. Upkeep and maintenance of the room .. taking care of the smaller details in the room are not up to the mark. Had to call them 3 times to clean up the room 4. When I tried to cancel one of the day.. Hotels.com app doesnt give any option. Talking to hotel folks , they could not help me because it was booked thru online. This is sad feedback for Hotel.com I liked : 1. Private access to the beach. 2. has lot of space.. but not well maintained. 3. Good for folks who enjoy late night party folks.. but this place is too noisy for any leisure family trips

Property location is excellent.Touching the beach and has a pleasing open space between the hotel area and the beach.I think all rooms have an ocean view. The property is although old and rooms and bathrooms need renovating/mordernisation.However if you are willing to live with this slight downside,the overall property is nice.

Not a great experience!

The Park hotel is no more the same as a few years ago. The hotel needs a facelift as it has lots of maintenance issues and the staff needs to be more cordial and welcoming and efficient. My check-in took a long time, the room was not ready, not properly cleaned, the bathroom was clogged, food (breakfast buffet) was not so great, and overall an unhappy customer

Great hotel great serice

Despite being one of old hotels in town, The Park was very well maintained. It's ambience, location and service were great. Having a beach right in the front of the hotel also makes a great place to stay.

Great Stay

The property is amazing with an awesome view and lovely food.

The location of the property is excellent, the staff is courteous as well, but the quality of the property is not good. Even though the hotel, upgraded my room to a premium room, after me raising some concerns, the overall quality and design of the room are not upto the mark and needs to be upgraded.

The property is 50 years old and that reflects in the hotel conditions. Bath tub was rusted and broken, TV doesn't work and sometimes the phone also don't work from where you can call for assistance. Overall stay was disappointing.

Frequent guest - always a good stay!

Excellent food, several restaurants on site to choose from, staff service support, location great views of ocean. Nice gardens surround area, lovely flower arrangements. Large pool, Room clean, bed so comfortable. WiFi is complimentary but be sure to select that option upon log in otherwise you’re upsold to premium on a daily rate. Relaxing area. Secure. Gym on site. During “wedding season” mid Jan - mid March the grounds are booked and busy. A perfect retreat. Will stay again and again.

Nights stay at the park

Excellent experience at The Park. Very scenic, serene and relaxing. You will enjoy your stay immensely. Highly recommend it.

Liked the access to beach. But the hotel is very badly maintained. Its definitely not worth the price that i paid for. Food and beverages are extremely costly and the taste/quality utterly disappointing.

Have only booked it for the night and been out of it for most odf the day. So very little to say except it was overall a good hotel

Passionate staff with great customer service

The Park Hotel management is gifted to have a very passionate staff. The team are very trained on personalise customer service. They ensure I have a very comfortable environment during my stay. Mr Soumak Rakshit & Ms Rani from Housekeeping are the reason I extended my stay. Their warm smile & service make me very comfortable ... WiFi service is very good ... F&B is great ... Hyderabad Briyani is my favourite... every guest must try this dish... it’s “finger licking good” moment... the best briyani in town .... The hotel is abit run down .... I would like to request the management to refurbish the room flooring.. it’s time to get new floor & furnishes... The hotel have a great service team ... if the management have a good product ... that’s would be awesome ... The hotel is abit run down .... I had read some negative reviews, so was a little worried about the property but have to say it was all unfounded, this is an excellent well appointed hotel with marvellous food rooms and grounds.

Haven for business trip

Very friendly and helpful staff. Good location by the beach meant a lovely view over the sea, and the lush gardens. The venue was used most nights for functions such as weddings, large group dinners. The music from these events (and the venues next door) stopped at a reasonable hour. Good eating options. I recommend for accommodation in Visakhapatnam.

Terrible Experience

I have requested for a queen size bed while they gave me a room with two single beds. The AC in the room wasn't working and the toiletries in the room were not taken care off. I was asked to have lunch at the restaurant while, the room was getting ready. The restaurant was so noisy and not clean at all. All the left over plates from the buffet were not cleaned from time to time. Overall it was not a great experience and I would not recommend The Park again. Very much unhappy.

Avoidable

There were renovations going in the hotel and they gave a room which had a huge window, however the window was completely blocked because of the renovations. There were 6 such rooms and the hotel should have simply blocked those rooms. The rooms were also very dirty. We arrived at the hotel at 10pm and it took them almost two hours for the management to find an alternate accommodation. Please avoid this hotel.

Excellent location near the beach/

well sought location overlooking the beach. most of the rooms face beach side.. nice morning and evening walk . Good breakfast buffet. Service is OK, and room condition is good. Only drawback is the hotel is next to Party lawn , so half of the hotel side will get loud music till late night and disturbs the sleep.Overall a good place to stay

Great hotel poor food

The front of house staff were amazing, they were very helpful and friendly. The room and view were really great but the food was very poor. For a hotel that claims to be 5 star the food was more 1 star. If you stay here I suggest eating else where.

Short, Comfortable Stay.

Not worth the price

Spaces are big, landscaped and lovely. Beach access and close to an old lighthouse. Food is good, breakfast spread is excellent. Lunch and dinner is good as well. But that’s it. The property is not worth the price. Rooms and facilities are old and outdated. There is dust everywhere in the room. The shower is bad, water is not hot. The TV is crappy and there is no minibar. The worst thing about this hotel is the absolute lack of service. Room service, service at the restaurant are all equally bad. Going around vizhag i have realised there are beach properties a plenty and the park for all its reputation is not worth the money. I have stayed here for two days and found the experience not worth the money that we pay for. We should expect better.

Hotel not worth the price

Stayed here for one night rooms are ok small . Bathroom was not up to the mark . We had a few drinks and starters at the pool side but the non veg platter we ordered din't have much variety and one , two dishes were too much salty . The breakfast spread was very good with wide variety . Staff was good and helpful. Apart from the view the location is not worth the price

Nice hotel close to the beach

Staff was courteous. Me and my friends had a blast. Room was clean and very well maintained.

Very nice on the beach

In the beach and even has its own private beach. Errors was great. They gave me an upgrade to a newly renavated room. Great staff and food. Lots of options for all ages.

Avg stay

Location of the hotel is very good. This property is on the beach. Rooms and hotel looks old and needs renovation... Room service is not not good. Asked for a local language (EENADU) and not provided even after 3 remainders... Overall good stay, but prefer more upgraded hotel if available....

Property has deteriorated badly

The property has deteriorated. The drapes and linen are stained. The daily cleaning is mediocre at best, and they forgot to replenish the towels several times. The waiting staff in the restaurants had stains on their clothes. The beach is not swimmable. The pool is mediocre. BUT ... the people are very nice and friendly and responsive. The food, especially the a la carte (not buffet) is exceptional (surprisingly so). Doubt you'll find this quality of food elsewhere. This used to be a benchmark hotel and the architecture is beautiful. It's just been ignored for too long and needs a complete overhaul now.

Definitely not 4 star hotel

The room was very dirty, floor was disgusting couldn't walk without stepping on dirt. The receptionist was very hostile towards us, we asked for an extra towel as the room had one less than we required, and it took the best part of an hour and a half to get it. Food was fine though....
