Another great stay at the old court house. Breakfast was exceptional as was the evening meals. Highly recommended.
Wonderful week in St Aubin. It's a lovely old building, staff are great, breakfast had lots of good options. Would definitely stay here again.
Nice spot
Lovely hotel with a lot of character! Had several meals and all were fantastic! Very glad we stayed in St. Aubin instead of St. Helier. Yudi was wonderful taking care of our needs!
Or stay at the Old Court House in Jersey was spectacular. The rooms were lovely. The staff and service was super. Communications were easily made. We dinned in dining room, the food was pretty good. Breakfast was very nice and they even packed a breakfast when we left early in our last day.
We had a great stay at The Old Courthouse. Perfectly located by the harbour and restaurants, lovely clean rooms with everything we needed, fantastic friendly and efficient staff. We would thoroughly recommend this hotel.
Beautiful hotel
We stayed for a short 3 day visit. Greeted on arrival, very pleasant staff. Room was lovely and very comfortable. Everything we needed was in the room. Including snacks and drinks. Toiletries were replenished. And rooms cleaned everyday. Breakfast was amazing too. Would def return. Thank you for a pleasant stay.
Cosy hotel overlooking St Aubin’s harbour. Only a short bus ride (number 15) from the airport or into St Helier. The solo room is small, as you would expect, but was comfortable, clean and the Wi-Fi is very good. The full English breakfast good and filling but there are some limitations such no cereal, cornflakes, Weetabix etc. Lounge area for guest was quiet and relaxing. I’m sure in the summer is very busy but early spring it was just right. Only one complaint: No Marmite!
Delightful staff, great food on site and pleasant atmosphere
A wonderful 16th century inn with the most welcoming staff. The single rooms are small but more than adequate and the bathroom is modern. Breakfast is superb especially the eggs. The hotel is situated in the picturesque village of at aubin with great bus links to town and many restaurants line the harbour. No parking but a public car park opposite which is normally available if you park before 19.00. Highly recommended.
Lovely location and very helpful staff.
Excellent location, great friendly service. Food really good, especially breakfast.
Don’t bother sending messages about requests through Expedia; they don’t read them and openly told us that after we’d sent messages weeks in advance of our stay. They also deduct the £ of the room 2 days before your stay which I found a bit weird. They stop serving food in the evenings at weird times and the staff are always stressed and often rude. The pub downstairs is very noisy. That said, the breakfasts are brilliant and rooms are really tastefully done.
Excellent
Fabulous place to stay. Clean and comfortable room. Breakfast excellent. Lovely views over the harbour from the outside terrace. Lucy and all the staff friendly and helpful .
Would recommend this inn to anyone. Friendly and helpful staff.
OCH Inn - St Aubin
Booked for final night in Jersey. Room had great view of the harbour. Breakfast was excellent, as was the coffee - which makes a change. Friendly staff. Convenient for bus transport (2 - 3 minute walk to stop) to St Hellier and the airport.
We had a wonderful break at the Old Courthouse. The stall went out of their way to be courteous and helpful. Lucy the manager couldn’t do enough and she seemed to be on duty night and day. We would definitely recommend anyone to stay here
Super single bed accomodation in the most beautiful area in jersey. Highly recommended.
could do better
The Old Courthouse needs a lot of maintenance to the place. The Kitchen staff were not aware of what constitutes a "Continental Breakfast". It was not a continental breakfast... lack of different cooked meats, lack of fruits, lack of cheeses …. On the first night my wife and I had a evening meal... we were over charged by about £15.. which we had to point out to the waitress. yes we did get the reduction. .but why was we not charged correctly in the first place
The room was lovely and warm and the bed was very comfortable. The food was very good and the staff were attentive.
Best area to stay in jersey. Friendly staff in the heart of sg aubin with a good restaurant. Rooms are cozy, some with sea views. Highly recommended.
We loved staying here, the staff were so friendly and the place feels very cosy and clean. Amazing view of shore and sunrise from our window! We will be returning.
Thoroughly recommend Old Court House for a stay in Jersey. Great location, great food and great service!
I lived in st aubin for twenty years so can safely say this is the location to be in for visiting jersey. The old court house was made famous by the television programme Bergerac and although just a restaurant and pub , no late music the ambience is exceptional. Staff are very accomodating and knowlegible and the sea views over the harbour magnificent. The only downside is no parking but there is a public car park opposite the hotel but it does get full in summer. For the price, a-bargain, you will not regret staying here.
Lovely comfortable hotel.
The Old Court House is a beautiful hotel- very old building with lots of history- comfy rooms and good seating areas in the bars/lounges. I booked 2 rooms for myself and my parents as we were celebrating a 90th birthday and also booked a private room for our family meal. The rooms were amazing with comfy beds and lovely little extras such as biscuits on the tea tray, proper coffee and little treats in the bathroom. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and we had an amazing sea view. The food was really good- service was a little slow for our evening meal but the staff were very busy and a bit rushed off their feet. They were very friendly and helpful- particularly the reception staff who made sure our stay was as good as it could be for our special occasion. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel for a special stay in Jersey.
The rooms were lovely and exactly as advertised - and overall our visit was great we loved the hotel and check in was and check out was super friendly - however the restaurant at Breakfast and everyday friendliness could do with a bit of work .
A very clean, tidy and peaceful hotel that’s been well looked after and tucked away on very peaceful St Aubins harbour. Excellent in house food options and brilliant service. Will definitely be returning here.
Excellent stay, very friendly staff who couldn’t have been more helpful.
Sunshine in paradise
Good location neede more staff receptionist very helpful.Breakfast first time ive only been offered the main course .no cereal fruit or yogurts .No toast offered.Food good .Poor bar service for residents
Lovely break.
Room very good, felt a bit more storage required. Good wardrobe space but not many drawers. Staff brilliant very helpful and friendly made us feel at home. .
Friendly welcome, clean and comfortable room. Great location for all areas and excellent breakfast. Definitely recommend it.
Recommend
Excellent staff doing their best with the few of them that there were due to staffing issues. Would have been nice to have daily water in the room and cereal or fruit for breakfast though the cooked choice was excellent.
Mainly Excellent
Lovely hotel in superb location. Dinner both nights was excellent and staff first class. Breakfast on the last day was a disaster - took 40 to produce the worst eggs Benedict I’ve had. Apart from breakfast stay was excellent and probably just a one off due to staffing issues etc. Would definitely stay again. I usually stay in St Helier but will choose here next time - commute in to work at castle quay using the Evie bikes was great :)
Great location, helpful staff, nice rooms and friendly staff! Would come back.
Lovely place to stay
The location and property are both ideal. Our room was at the top of the building and involved fairly steep staircases - not a problem for us but might be for the less able. The full English breakfast was superb but the continental option was disappointing. The outdoor front terrace was being renovated and part way through our stay this meant the main entrance was closed and guests were required to enter via the bifold doors at the bar/restaurant area. As this part of the building is lower this then involved another steep staircase which was a little more difficult when we checked out and we had to carry down 2 very large heavy suitcases. It wasn’t a big issue for us - just a bit inconvenient. Overall we really enjoyed our stay. All staff were welcoming and friendly.
Nice room, excellent location and lovely staff
Hotel promote a quiet relaxing stay, it was not. Our bedroom was above function room with loud music playing, cackling voices and clapping on one night until 11:20pm and a children’s Halloween party on the Sunday afternoon. No warning by management or apologies. Would not recommend the hotel.
Super St Aubin
Friendly and professional staff, lovely room and well furnished. Great food and beautiful views
Loved the view from our room and the huge comfortable bed and pillows
Really enjoyed my stay here, great location and all the staff very friendly, especially those doing breakfast service. And the breakfast was awesome!
Return visit to Jersey
Nice hotel in a great location with helpful friendly staff.Wold not hesitate to return.
Lovely hotel, great staff and food was excellent
really sweet little boutique hotel with a popular restaurant. friendly staff as well
A fabulous stay with a boutique feel. The room was spotless and the staff couldn’t have been any more helpful. We are lucky enough to have a great view over the harbour
Lovely refurbished rooms with a great cosy feel and well fitted out - nice view of the sea. Good selection for breakfast with amazing smashed avocado on toast. Staff were very friendly and helpful - would highly recommend
The Old Courthouse Sep ‘20
The property is an old courthouse full of character at the end of a road and overlooking a pretty harbour. There is no free parking but an inexpensive limited space car park, which is free in evenings and overnight is adjacent. The property and staff have a welcoming feel and everything is done to make guests feel comfortable. Breakfast is a menu of great choices and ingredients which leaves you satisfied and ready for a day of adventure in Jersey. Food is available on a brunch and dinner menu. The chef has made some delicious choices and they are cooked with flair as well as good portions and excellent presentation. Rooms are thoughtfully and attractively decorated. Walking in had a surprise element which pleased us greatly. We stayed in Alderney with an attractive wide bed, a slipper bath in the bedroom and a lovely efficient shower, remember to switch on the fan! Though the mirror is heated and won’t steam up. There is an unusual dining room designed like the stern cabin of a galleon with a picture window overlooking the harbour. If you’re arriving soon book ahead for dinner, if you don’t it will be full as will all the other restaurants in St. Aubin and there are quite a few because the property’s location is good. Getting into St. Helier is about 15mins when the traffic is easy and a bus runs nearby, last one back is about 2320, depending on which night. The bar is lively and welcoming. I’d recommend The Old Courthouse and go back there anytime I visited Jersey.
Very happy with my stay. Everyone was very friendly and attentive. Would happily stay again
Jersey Jewel
From arrival to departure I cannot fault this wonderful quirky hotel. Every member of staff were so pleasant and the food was outstanding. The sheets on the bed were just like silk. Great room with fantastic staff, will be using again as great standard
Beautiful location next to a small harbour/marina. Great food and drinks. Spotlessly clean.
