Nothing bad to report. One night stay and we were comfortable felt safe and all was clean and tidy. Staff are friendly.
Worth every penny, beautiful hotel.
I will definitely stay again.
Beautiful hotel, very nice staff, excellent stay.
Awful
There was construction work happening outside our window at 3:30am! Loud trucks, dropping concrete into metal bins. From 3:30 to past 6:00. If we had known that there was that kind of construction happening that early, we would have asked to be in a room on the other side of the hotel. Frankly, I am shocked you rented rooms to anyone over on that side of the hotel. We got zero sleep and I will never stay there again
Wonderful hotel! The rooms are beautiful and the staff was friendly. I wish the new restaurant were open when we visited as there isn’t a good breakfast option currently.
It's downtown so it's a little noisy but did not affect my sleeping
Unfortunately, as beautiful and historic as this hotel is, our stay was a disappointment to our expectation. Maybe it was an off weekend for the staff, but for us, it was a memory we wish had been different. We were not a part of the overwhelming wedding that was booked the same weekend, so we were not greeted or acknowledged. Our room was not ready until very late - and we were never called to notify of it’s readiness. This altered our entire schedule. Valet was nowhere to be found. We simply felt as if we were not valued.
Great weekend
From check to the rooftop staff , everything was top tier
Was at the Mayo for a wedding, what a beautiful hotel. Staff, especially Jason was excellent and friendly. Room was beautiful. My only complaint is we had a full kitchen but not even a fork stocked, no dishes ect. Thankfully the only thing we needed were wine glasses but we got some from the bar.
Great property, very clean and the penthouse bar was a great place to relax
A very nice historic hotel. It's amazing to see all of the celebrities that have stayed here!
Festive
Loved the holiday decor— we’ll be back when we can stay longer!
Well, I booked a room ahead of time but our check in time is 4:00 PM so like we have to be out there by 11 that’s not even 24 hours for the price that I paid for the room I feel like I should’ve been able to have the room For the whole day
Perfect retreat
Was absolutely fantastic, every employee was amazing and the room was terrific! Would definitely stay again!
Our stay was very enjoyable. Beautiful facility.
Love it overall, the only negative was my room location, Room 211 has dumpster noise. As it is a lower floor and a corner room, so some windows face the alley and dumpster.
Great atmosphere
Beautiful Art Deco hotel that's close to the Blue Dome District & Cain's Ballroom. Great, welcoming staff. My favorite place to stay in Tulsa!
I have stayed here approximately 6 times. At least 4 of those times the hotel booked the lobby and hotel bar for private events thus making those areas unavailable. The hotel is more of a venue location than hotel. I am done staying here. If you decide to stay here ask if there is an event going on at that time. If so Avoid. There are better options in the area.
Our room was supposed to be ready at 4pm. When we arrived at 430, the room was not ready and waited until almost 5pm before we were able to get to our room. This was frustrating as my wife is 7 months pregnant and was ready to lay down after traveling for hours. We were offered a $14 food voucher for our inconvenience. We then got onto the elevator where we were not informed that we would have to tap our door keys to go to our floor, further preventing us from settling in.
Love the hotel. It’s great.
This was my second stay at this hotel. The rooms and hotel are nice and clean. It was just a short uber ride to a bunch of good restaurants and bars. I would definitely stay again. The suite was very nice and spacious.
Amazing place and people. And it’s affordable
Very nice, clean and beautiful.
Always a lovely visit!
We’ve stayed many times before and it’s always a wonderful experience. Staff is kind and helpful. Amenities are great. We always get a suite because we have a daughter and it’s more than enough room for us to be comfortable.
The roomy ness and the History.
Disappointed
Bottom floor restaurant/bar closed long term. Rooftop bar closed three days a week so nothing was open while I was there except coffee shop. Disappointed. Recommend the rooftop bar & restaurant at the Brut Hotel which was open. Extra charge for late check-out despite not being close to full.
BEAUTIFUL HOTEL AND ROOMS..... LOVED OUR STAY!!!
Very nice place! Definitely coming back.
Great historic hotel, rooftop bar is amazing
Everyone was friendly and kind. Was in town for a race and was so thrilled with my choice to stay at The Mayo.
Everything about this hotel is top notch! Friendly staff, clean and the rooms are HUGE! Also the history of the hotel is amazing.
Loved the room and location. Had drinks at the rooftop bar. Everything was fantastic.
Beautiful hotel staff was amazing!!
Most magnificent place i have ever stayed. So beautiful and classy. The staff was amazing. The suite was stunning and the hotel itself is a real gem. Can't wait to go back.
Excellent stay
The room was amazing and the staff was so kind and helpful. Definitely will stay here again
Very disappointed by this hotel’s condition and lack of house keeping services each day we were there. Numerous requests for picking up the rooms trash and providing clean towels were not responded to. Daily room housekeeping was not provided. Very disturbing lack of service coming back to our room after being out during the day and finding the room a mess every time. We thought this was a high rated hotel but we were wrong. We complained and asked for a reduction in our bill due to such offensive service but we were told that since we booked our room with a third party namely Orbitz there was nothing they could do as far as a partial refund or even comping our stay. I would never stay there again. It was a total offensive ripped off experience. Their profuse apologies does not suffice. I would like to know what Orbitz could do about this bill and would like this hotel contacted for their dreadful service. LauraEpler@icloud.com
Sumptuous retreat
The room was beautiful, very quiet. The bedding is luxurious and the bedroom was very dark and restful.
Very overrated and overpriced for what you get. The hotel was pretty, but lacking amenities and everything had an upcharge. There was an event going on one of the nights we stayed so what the hotel did have for amenities was closed to anyone not attending the event. We had VIP passes for food/beverage with our stay and it didn't get applied to our bill. Save your money and go to any of the other neat hotels in the area!!
Clean, large room, quiet. Staff were great
Love the Mayo
This time our room was set up where the bedroom was far from the bathroom. Didn’t particularly care for that. I do love the hotel and that check out is at noon.
Room512 was backed to garbage pick up area. So from 4am to 6am, it was constant loud noise and prevented me to sleep. Also my room did not have any desk or chair to be able to work. Parking is expensive and no upgrade or discount provided as VIP member. Hotel is very nice. The roof top is nice but nothing was going on. There was no live music as advertised.
This was a beautiful hotel with great amenities on site! The staff was so friendly!
Favorite place to stay
Gorgeous hotel. Staff at the desk is very friendly. Super disappointed we could not go up to the bar because of a private party.
We love staying here
Staff & Service were impeccable. Thank you, Dmitiri.
I would stay at the Mayo again. Everything is a close drive away.
Historical but still modern. Very nice stay! Will definitely use this hotel again.
Was offered another room due to inconvenience of things not working properly
Boutique hotel experience in downtown Tulsa
Our trip was amazing. The staff was so helpful and it was a great boutique hotel experience. Really loved the historic detail and the lobby was gorgeous! Starbucks onsite was a great addition. Keurig in the room with Starbucks k-cups! Real coffee mugs provided and great toiletries. Our room has guest robes which was a beautiful touch.
Only issue was construction going on nearby. Just a little noisy.
Had to stay at the Mayo during our trip through Tulsa. Great place, reasonable rates, classic, and fabulous staff.
Shower was crusty filthy. 30 dollars to vallet. They could not make a room key. Didnt act concerned. Nothing like haveing to wait on someone to gett you in your room .
My wife and I enjoyed the ambiance of the hotel. It had the feeling of an old historical place, but was clean, "fresh and new". The staff (Dimitri and the valets) were very courteous and welcoming. Wonderful experience overall!
We stayed one night on the way through town. What a beautiful hotel, rooftop was great! Would stay here again
Great place! Brings yesterday to today without any missing out on comfort.
This place is stunning and by far my most favorite hotel! Everything about this place, from the room to the staff was great! It is centrally located so youre close to all the fun things you aspire to do here in Tulsa! Its beautiful! If you havent stayed here you definitely should! Oh and they have a roof top bar open Wednesday through Saturday!
Beautiful room/ suite
The Mayo Hotel is gorgeous! The staff are helpful and friendly. We especially enjoyed the rooftop bar, the view was spectacular!
Staff was amazing
So disappointed that the restaurant was closed really pit a damper on our trip as the website didn't state this ( we were there to celebrate our 25th anniversary). Also the rooftop bar is not open on Monday or Tuesday another disappointment. Otherwise the hotel was stunning and really liked it.
Love the Mayo Hotel! More like an apartment feel, than a hotel room. Modern and clean.
Have always loved staying at The Mayo when I go to Tulsa. Had never been to the rooftop bar and thought I would check it out. Was run off by the bar tender in front of a dinner party like I was a delinquent. I wish I had got his name.
This is a beautiful hotel and staff is delightful. Great location downtown. Can't wait to stay there again!
They had PLENTY of open rooms, but, I am pretty sure it is because it was an Expedia-booked room, we got a GREAT view of a parking lot and the wall of the building next door.
The staff was exceptional! Friendly and very helpful
Staff especially the manager dis an exceptional job. Had an issue that he rectified immediately. Amazing hotel--will definitely stay here when in Tulsa.
After driving 12 hours we were looking forward to our stop at The Mayo. It was easy to get to off the highway and valet was ready to assist as we pulled up. It’s an old hotel with beautiful bones but lacking in decor of the period, feeling drab and almost Russian 70’s era instead. Unfortunately we were on the second floor with a view of a construction site parking lot where a yelling match between two people took place in the middle of the night, waking us up. We were most looking forward to a visit to the rooftop bar and a drink but when we asked about it at check-in we’re told it’s only open Wednesday - Saturday. We ended up walking to a restaurant a few blocks away. If you like a dark room to sleep in the bring your eye mask, an exterior light shines right into this room. The bed was comfortable but firm and the AC worked great although it was as loud as a window unit. We ate breakfast at the cafe in the lobby since the restaurant was also closed and it was disgusting. The egg, cheee, bacon sandwich had a funny taste and the banana bread was hard and stale as a brick. I should have known that because all the pastries were just sitting out in a glass enclosed case getting stale. Even Starbucks doesn’t do this. Overall not a great stay and would not recommend.
A classic “grand hotel” in the European style.
Very nice hotel, rooftop bar was great.
Will be back
Nice clean spacious room. Only complaint was the restaurant wasn’t open due to remodeling. Secure parking requires a $30 per night valet fee. Otherwise you’re on the street.
Just average which is disappointing because its the Mayo, usually they are fantastic.
Good but dated
It was very quiet and we felt safe. We were so impressed that every staff member everywhere they were so pleasant and happy. This generally means there's great management from the top down. You don't know we see that. Hope to return soon!! 🙏🙏
great tulsa downtown hotel
beautiful hotel, everything was in order and the room was fabulous. great valet, and the only issue was breakfast. no selection.
Great location if you are attending a BOC performance.
Best room in Tulsa
Lots of room. Clean. Kitchen was nice. Amazing view of downtown Tulsa. Best service in Tulsa.
Wonderful staff …!!!
Huge room clean and updated, in historic hotel building near sightseeing, including black Wall Street, Leon Russel recording studio, woody Guthrie center.
Fun treat, but be careful outside
Great service, very comfy and luxurious room, and a beautiful view of Downtown Tulsa! The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was nicely furnished and clean. I will say it was really frustrating trying to figure out the parking situation. The valet drive up is very small and easy to moss, especially for an out-of-towner. I ended up parking in a garage a 3 minute walk away, for $20 instead of the $30 for valet parking. There are a lot of homeless people in the surrounding area, but I was not bothered by any of them, and was walking around in the daylight. Just be aware of your surroundings. I stayed on site for dinner and drinks. I had great drinks and excellent service at the Penthouse, and great food and conversation at the café downstairs. It may or may not be haunted, which is why I booked a room here hehe. Overall, be mindful of the fact that this is a nice hotel in the downtown of a big city. The architecture is beautiful and there are tons of great places to eat within walking distance, but you do need to be street smart.
Great vintage feel to the place. Historic and yet modern and beautiful.
This was my fourth stay at The Mayo and it never disappoints! We love the suite option for a family of four (two small kids). The staff is lovely and the accommodations feel classy without being snooty.
The employees were absolutely amazing! They always greeted us when we arrived and departed. Rooms were a wonderful size and had everything that we needed. Will defiantly be staying here again. TOP NOTCH SERVICE!
Feeling fancy
Pros: Beautiful hotel, great spacious rooms, comfortable beds, great location. Con: no public parking close by, must use valet parking unless you get lucky w street side parking. Will definitely stay here again!
This hotel was so beautiful and the room, especially the bed, was so comfortable.
Great room and awesome rooftop bar!
Such a beautiful property, staff was great.
Short walk to BOK center. Rooms are beautiful!
The hotel was great and clean. The VIP upgrade was perfect.
Big rooms and an interesting old building but in need of updates. Probably wouldn’t stay there again but I’d definitely go back for a drink on the rooftop bar.
Loved the aesthetic
The Mayo felt close to all we wanted to visit. The property is very interesting with how they have documented history
The plain history of the establishment itself was beautiful. Everything else came along with it - Most Excellent - thanks !!
Beautiful Hotel
Astounding
The beautiful historical festures
Felt very welcomed. Great and helpful staff, clean rooms and beds! Awesome place to stay
