Nice for a weeks stay. Plenty of dining options. Great people watching.

The place was nicely updated but, tiny. There is no parking on the premises so, you have to park on the street and move your car every 4-hours to avoid a ticket. There may or may not be a parking pass in the room so, plan on a some inconveniences when you first arrive. Other than that, we enjoyed walking around the area and the close proximity to public transportation for visiting points outside the city.

Overall, our stay was good. It’s all about location, location, location. I would not recommend 4 people in a one bedroom. The beds, bedding and pullout couches are uncomfortable.

Loved this place! Everything was so clean and the bed was very comfortable. The little kitchen was small but it had everything we needed. The best of all was this place has the most amazing view!!!!

Couples Getaway

Such a beautiful place and location! It’s close to the pier, where you can walk and grab some food and drinks. We had a couples getaway, the deck was perfect to watch the sunset. The beach is literally across the path with free beach chairs to use. The only negative thing I can say about this place is the tiny showers in the rooms. We will definitely be back, such a relaxing place to go!

Great place in Oceanside!

Great location right off the water - first time in Oceanside and had a wonderful time with friends. Would highly recommend this place and would stay here again myself. Management was easy to work with and was attentive and quick to return our calls.

We enjoyed the place, awesome location the beach was amazing along with the deck. The room was very nice but the bed seem small for a queen but comfortable. Shower was too small. Couch was and had a nice little kitchenette. Location was so quiet and if you leave windows open you can hear the ocean waves.

A hidden gem. Like having your own apartment on the beach.

The location is amazing. It was wonderful to hear the ocean waves all day and night and Easy walk to eateries. The units are small and compact, the shower is very small. My husband is 200lbs and not much room to move around. The blinds, though they look good don't go to bottom of window and let too much outside light in at night, I prefer a very dark room, so i wasn't happy for all the light.

The first night cuz we arrived late, it was easy to get into my room without any front desk. But our bed sheets wasn’t clean enough… there was dirty spots and footprints on them… I left messages so they changed all in the morning at 10 am. The staffs were friendly. But the situation was embarrassing for me cuz I booked the room for my parents to stay… we all slept on the dirty bed sheets the first night without any choice… besides that everything else was fine. They have beach umbrella and chairs you can borrow. Parking will be on the pacific st, I wish I know which room has onsite parking that can use, the whole time I was kind of worried of my car….

Perfectly Appointed & Accommodating

our condo had a separate bedroom and bath w/a comfortable queen bed, charging lamps, hairdryer, soap, shampoo, conditioner & bath towels. the kitchenette was fully equipped w/serving dishes & utensils and pans to cook on the stovetop, a toaster, a keurig (pods, sugar and creamers supplied). we were supplied w/instructions on how to use the TV & remote and there was a comfortable couch/sleeper sofa and kitchen table/chairs. the decor was pleasing and simple; not overly fussy. we were supplied with beach towels, luggage rack, iron & board and had the use of the communal beach chairs, umbrellas, wave boards and sand toys. A laundry room is available w/2 washers and dryers at a cost of $2/load; laundry soap was included. we were in town for a wedding at The Seabird Resort which was a 5 min walk from The Marbella. the Pier & many restaurants on Mission Ave were within walking distance for us. Beach access was conveniently right across the Strand! we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

Our room was small for three people, but it met our needs for seven nights. We loved the proximity to the beach. No housekeeping came to our room during our stay, so after sleeping there for a full week, we were ready to leave because we needed fresh towels and clean sheets. The property has beach chairs, beach towels, and sand toys available for use, which was awesome for us (a family with small children). My favorite part of the stay was sitting outside on the sun deck (it is so nice!) while reading a book and drinking my morning coffee. Our room did not come with a parking garage space but we never had any trouble finding a place to park on Pacific Street.

Grateful and peaceful on the strand!

We really enjoy staying on the Strand! And the Marbella doesn’t disappoint as far as location! The rooms are clean and have a retro feel! This is our second stay! If you want the true beach experience then stay here!! You’ll be glad you did!!

Very close to the ocean, reasonably priced, newly remodeled building, garage parking, safe, walking distance to local stores & restaurants.

Where to start??? First we found the Marbella to have been just remodeled, so the rooms were clean and tidy. But know that the rooms are VERY small. With 2 people staying, their was limited room for luggage with only one luggage rack. My luggage stayed on the couch due to nowhere else to keep it. If your older DO NOT get an upper room. You have to lug everything up 2 to 3 floors. VERY little room for parking. If you don't get issued a garage, you get a parking pass to park on the street above the hotel with the 100,000 other beach go'ers and homeless sleeping on benches close to the entrance and bums crapping in the bushes. Positive things were that you are within walking distance to a variety of entertainment and food. The front patio is awesome. Endless people watching and cars parading down The Strand. Directly across the street from the beach, very convenient. I was dumbfounded by the parking and NO mention of the situation when booking. No management on duty to fill you in on your room or the parking procedures. Endless phone calls to the property manager and I finally had one of the cleaning ladies text the PM to call me and explain the parking. So in conclusion, some very fine things about the Marbella but more down things. More communications would have been nice.

Best Rentals in Oceanside!!

This quaint holiday rentals was very clean, convenient, comfortable. The unit I rented was for 2 days, it was a studio with a small kitchen area which came with everything, toaster, pots, pans, plates, coffee Keurig, microwave, small refrigerator, 2 unit electric stove and a garage. It was on the beach literally 25 feet away from the water. Walking distance from food, fishing, stores. I definitely will be returning here, it also has a convenient deck that you share a Bar BQ with other guests, who were all very kind. You don’t need a key to have access to your room a code they give you, easy friendly rental.

LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION! We loved how the property was beachfront, you can walk to all the restaurants and shops. The rental property itself was cute, clean and had all you needed for your stay. Will definitely book again in the future.

First Class Experience by The Sea

Great oceanfront location, tiny bathroom

When we arrived it was confusing where we were supposed to park. We were instructed to download an app but it wasn’t helpful. Customer service was responsive when we arrived but proactive instructions would have saved us time. The location close to the beach was lovely. Saturday morning they hosted yoga and coffee. That was fun. The bathroom was incredibly tight. No wiggle room. No counter space. The shower door bathroom door couldn’t open well. The bath mat didn’t fit. It was well decorated. No view of the ocean from the room unless you stood outside the front door.

We love our quick 2-nights stay here at Marbella. The location is literally right next to the beach with beautiful ocean view. The unit is nice and cozy with all the amenities you’ll need to prepare meals and even grill food as there’s a bbq grill at the shared patio deck! It’s definitely not a 5-star hotel but we are very happy with the service and will definitely come back to stay longer in the future!

Nice property, easier to park above the hotel

The best thing going for the property is also its worst thing…location. We stayed in cottage 106 which is DIRECTLY adjacent to the s strand road and walking path, with a view of the waves about 35’ away. This was both amazing and a nuisance with the constant parade of cruisers 3´ away from our ocean view windows and front door. The noise of motors and thumping music was an issue falling asleep in the evenings, even after 11pm/midnight. It’s great for partiers, not so much for families. The cottage itself was cute, mostly well stocked and clean except for the floors which had some sandy grit to them. I felt I needed slippers the whole time. But we had home cooked breakfast both mornings we were there. Parking was truly our main issue. The garages are literally 8’ wide from stud to stud. You can get a midsize suv in but you can’t get out. So I found myself risking a ticket and parking behind the complex on N strand for 2 nights and a full day. A parking pass would have been nice but I neither saw any offered in our room or any instructions on where to get one (emailed or otherwise). It was an ok experience. The best part was that the location was great with respect to walking everywhere, extremely dog friendly, and we felt safe the entire time.

Nice little place right across the street from the beach. Amazing views from the patio and within walking distance of the pier, shops and restaurants. First time here but will definitely be going back!!

We found our stay at Marbella very enjoyable. Our king corner unit had a great view of the ocean and pier. The sound of the waves in the evening was very relaxing. We did yoga on the patio one day which was great. The rooms and bathrooms are on the small side but comfortable. The location is great. Highly recommend this place.

Great ocean view for price

Location, easy check-in and the garage (which is small, as advertised) are all great. I wish we'd have booked a room with a view, but we'll do that next time. We loved the deck both at sunrise and sunset. We'll definitely return!

Great view.

I cannot say enough good things about this place! We absolutely loved it here! The ocean view cannot be beat. Being in the little cottage meant That we got to sit and watch the world go by and all of the colorful people and personalities within it. The kitchen is fully stocked and we were able to prepare meals with ease. The shower is gorgeous. The community patio is a beautiful place to watch the sunset because you are elevated from the street. The only difficulty, truly… Was that the garage are extremely extremely small. My husband was able to get our rental car into it, but had to crawl through the back hatch to get out because there was not enough room to open a door on the side. If you traveled with a tiny compact car that would not be an issue. Even with the garage being small… We would come back in a heartbeat. Love!

Great place for short vacation

Very convenient location for everything you need. Nice walk to the pier and to hear the ocean waves. Beautiful sunset view. Make sure you are able to climb up to two stories. The studio was very clean with sufficient supplies and comfortable furniture.

Nicely remodeled unit steps away from the ocean

Our first thought on checking in was how freezing it was. I quickly realized that the place does not have a central thermostat, only the bedrooms have A/C units. I understand though that it's an old remodeled building, and it was an unusually cold February. After blasting the heat in all the bedrooms that first evening, it eventually warmed up and was comfortable enough for the rest of our stay the following few days. Other than that we had no issues, it's a pretty decently remodeled place and we could hear and see the ocean from inside. Oh one more thing, the microwave is incredibly high up, highest I've ever seen. Even if you can reach it, you probably won't be able to see inside. Need to take care when removing hot and full items from it. It was a small annoyance. Overall though we enjoyed our stay, great customer service from the property manager, would stay here again with another family.

Sunset View

We had a wonderful stay and knowing that we didn’t need to drive anywhere because we were within walking distance of everything we needed was awesome. Watching the sunset from the view deck was a great experience. Absolutely spectacular

The location is perfect. The view of the ocean is unbeatable. Waking up to the sound of the waves made the teip.

Hard to put it in words.

It surprised me how small room was, but my main concerns were "dead zone', calls dropped while walking in or out of room. Once in room if you weren't on wifi, txt dropped, couldn't send any information via txt, or email. And room 201 is at end of building, no where near beach view.

Loved our stay here. The pictures are pretty accurate, the beach is right there and food and shopping is within walking distance. Unfortunately there was no tv in the bedroom, but you can hear the waves from your room. Great vacation overall.

The room was incredibly small. Location was great, literally right on the ocean. Plenty of options within walking distance. For the price don't have much to complain about, hot water needs to be worked on, a tv in the bedroom would have been nice, and better parking is needed.

Amazing trip with our place right on the beach. We will be back! The only issue we had (which could not be helped) was the hammering and construction on the premises during the midday.
