The Ludlow was perfect! Staff was very accommodating and helpful. The only thing I would say wasn’t perfect was the elevators can sometimes take a while and the powder creamer provided in the room didn’t mix well/ easily. Otherwise, would def stay there again! Rooms were very quiet esp for NYC!
Amazing. Was fantastic
cozy boutique vibe, love the lobby lounge
This is my all time favourite hotel in Manhattan. The staff are consistently friendly, helpful and look to exceed expectations. Location is great for exploring East Village but also only a 15 min taxi ride from most of the major attractions. Comfy rooms, well equipped and clean. Highly recommended!
Great hotel!
Great location for my daughter’s recent move to New York. Wonderful staff, great restaurant, good people! I’m just small, but typical for New York City exclamation point.
Super cute and cozy room that was immaculate and made me feel right at home (but cleaner haha). Staff were always around and working hard…and it shows. Good location if you want to be on the LES where there aren’t a ton of hotel options. Could have done without the (guests?) smoking pot on the benches out in front of the hotel that wafted up even to the 12th floor, but I guess that’s ny for you these days and not really the hotel’s fault. Loved it here and would stay again. Appreciated the easy to control thermostat that actually seemed to work, I stay in a lot of hotels and this is not a given.
Well
Good service in a tiny very slow hotel
Tiny rooms - there wasn’t even enough room to open a carry on suitcase on the floor and the wardrobe door couldn’t open without moving the chair out of position. Bed was comfortable but so small for two people. Bathroom so small the toilet roll holder was under the sink and the door had to be closed to use the toilet. The staff and housekeeping share two lifts with guests throughout the day to service 20 floors and it took on average 5 minutes just to get in the lift. Service was good but it all lacked the feeling of a luxury hotel.
Awesome
Beautiful property, great location, staff very helpful and pleasant.
.
Beautiful hotel and terrific staff! Thank you!
Absolutely would stay again
Incredible views of the entire city from my 15th floor suite. Loved the service at the bar. Very comfortable stay in an interesting, safe, walkable neighborhood.
Great staff!
loved it.
Very charming hotel, wonderful room and friendly/helpful staff. Highly recommend.
Cozy and old fashioned hotel close to soho and manhattan. Clean and well situated. Staff is very friendly. Happy to recommend.
Beautiful & quaint. Staff very friendly. Lobby & bar area fun to hang out in by the fireplace. Gorgeous decor in the rooms & very quiet.
Warm and helpful staff; great lobby bar.
Great impression walking in the door. Greeted by very friendly staff and a roaring fireplace in lounge. Every thing was top notch. The rooms are beautifully decorated. We were in room 703 with a huge terrace. The staff is also very helpful with directions and recommendations. Andy was our favorite in valet. Highly recommend this hotel!! We will definitely stay again next time in NYC!!
Loved our stay here, restaurant is a great add on
Love The Ludlow! Our favorite hotel in New York. Stayed here for the last two years while my daughter was at NYU. We love it!
We have stayed their several times and the staff never disappoint. The lobby spaces are cozy and the rooms are well appointed and very comfortable. Every amenity is walking distance with easy access to other parts of the city. We highly recommend The Ludlow
We stayed in loft, if you can afford to go for this room type I would highly recommend. Really nice, clean and spacious for NYC. There is a great view of the city skyline too. We stayed here for 3 nights and really enjoyed it. A good location with walkable access to financial district and Brooklyn bridge. Great food options within walking distance. Highly recommend!
Beautiful boutique hotel
A beautiful hotel stay. We stayed on the 11th floor and had a great view across Manhattan. The room was small but beautifully decorated with heavy curtains, a four-poster dark wood bed, a rug, dark wood floors and white beams. The shower was perfect and had good pressure. The rest of the hotel was beautifully decorated too and we enjoyed hanging out in the big downstairs lounge by the fireplace and then eating brunch in Dirty French, the restaurant there. The hotel is within easy walking distance of the nightlife in the east village and on the lower east side. Highly recommend!
Great locations, very small rooms; annoying if you have more than one piece of luggage and it is almost great for a person but not for two people.
Will be returning
Great place to stay
Stay was amazing. Just wish the pillows were a bit more comfortable. They were just worn down. Room was on the smaller side. However these are the only things we can think of. A great place to stay nonetheless and we will be returning.
A really wonderful boutique hotel on the LES. Since its winter they had a beautiful roaring fire in the lounge which was nice to see when arriving back after a long day. The room was on the smaller side but had every amenity needed. Loved the nespresso machine and the view was fantastic. Great access to the subway which was only a couple of blocks away, but walking allowed us to see all the fun neighborhood gems. We ordered room service and the food was delicious. There was nothing that was "wow" but overall a nice, friendly, clean, trendy, place. Would absolutely stay again!
What an amazing hotel! We had such a blast during our stay. The vibe is buzzing and trendy, making it the perfect spot for some entertaining people-watching. Our room was super clean, offered a stunning view of the city, and the bed was incredibly comfy. While the space for clothes and toiletries was a bit tight, we got creative and made it work. If you’re looking for a place with a touch of old-world charm, I can’t recommend this hotel enough.
Beautiful hotel! Amazing service and staff.
Frequent guest…The Ludlow is exceptional, always!
Staff was amazingly friendly and a wonderful stay as always. Enjoyed the lounge and the fried chicken is amazing and highly recommended Enjoy!
Awesome Lobby ! Fantastic! Beautiful property Woke up a lot sr night as the loud heater kept cycling off & on. Nice staff!, nice view. Just Had a hard time using the night stand. Too much paraphernalia to sell in room. Would have liked less alcohol in room to buy as I had to take things out to put my fruit & takeout leftovers in fridge
Really enjoyed the room and the hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful
I feel like every time I go to New York I can’t stay anywhere else that’s not the LUDLOW. It’s definitely the gold standard when it comes hospitality, luxury, and immaculate vibes. The staff was incredible, the suite we stayed in was extremely cozy and dreamy. I’m already planning on booking another stay at the LUDLOW, this Spring 2025. 10/10 Experience
Great place will stay again
Ludlow hotel is a clean and well maintained property. The staff were eager to help make the stay with them comfortable and convenient. A guest really can't ask for more.
We had an amazing weekend stay. Our room was absolutely gorgeous and the staff were all super friendly at all points of interaction. Would stay again in a heartbeat.
Fantastic boutique hotel with beautiful lobby and garden patio for working, drinks and food, great restaurant, and staff was wonderful! Right around the corner from Katz's Deli.
Perfect NYC stay
The accommodations are GORGEOUS. The bathtub is dreamy! However the best part was the welcoming and helpful staff.
Great property
Excellent My 4th stay and will go again
This is my second time staying at the Ludlow, and it definitely won’t be my last. The hotel is conveniently located to so many great spots, and the subway was only a couple of blocks away. I feel safe here, and the staff is always amazing.
Great hotel, unacceptable response to left laptop
The hotel is great. Luxurious, comfortable, great service, great location. Overall, good value. BUT, and its a big "but", my wife left her laptop in the room at checkout. We called within an hour, explained the situation, our room number, and where the laptop would be. We were promised a call back very soon thereafter. We called the hotel three times that day and never received a call back. When we called three hours after the initial call, I was told that they hadn't had a chance to check the room yet, but I could expect a call back soon. Again nothing. For such a nice hotel with great service while we were there, this is unacceptable.
Fantastic Hotel
Second time staying at The Ludlow and once again I loved it. Great location on the Lower East Side with many good food and bar options nearby. The staff are friendly and helpful and the rooms cosy.
the location is great, love the living room area
Beautiful bar area - our room was absolutely amazing, and the staff is wonderful! Will definitely be back again and again’
Everything great except I didn’t like the bed.
This is a wonderful hotel. Located in a great spot. The rooms was surprisingly large. It was clean. The staff was great. I would def return!
Uuj
Tiny rooms, aging fixtures, slow service at the restaurant.
Fantastic hotel, great service, great decor and room amenities!
Book it for everything beautiful, never leave because of the bathtub!!
Excellent accommodations, superior staff ,
Everyone from check in to check out was awesome, so professional, kind, the rooms were meticulously taken care of each day. The restaurant staff were great, above and beyond service.
Loved every minute of being on the LES for fashion week. The Ludlow was super vibey and buzzing. We’d stay again. The bed was pretty small. And the shower didn’t work so well.
We had some initial mishaps with the booking of our room (make sure you request a room on the higher floor levels so that you get a view - we had a view of the car park at first which we were disappointed with, especially as we had paid more for a bath next to the window to celebrate my 30th birthday). However the Ludlow team managed to move us to a beautiful room on the 18th floor with a balcony, huge bathroom and lounge area. After paying an extra fee, we upgraded and from then on our stay was amazing. Beautifully designed rooms, lovely extra touches like a free bottle of Prosecco for my birthday and delicious food at Dirty French (the pancakes did not disappoint!) Overall I would stay here again as it’s located in a fun area and has a cool vibe perfect for a trip to NYC.
Beautiful hotel, very nice staff, amazing food, but we could not sleep AT ALL two of the three nights we spent there. We have a toddler, so we really appreciate our quiet hours of rest at night. Our room was on the 5th floor facing the street and we woke up many times, at 2 AM, 4 AM, 5 AM and couldn't go back to sleep. It was so frustrating. Drunk people were screaming, arguing and reeving engines non-stop. It was like their were in our rooms. They should revise their policy and put families in quieter rooms and maybe single people who party closer to the commotion? I was really disappointed because the hotel is not cheap. I'm going back to work and I couldn't rest at all.
Overall the hotel is a nice facility, very clean rooms and friendly, helpful staff!
Great hotel!
Ludlow August 24 Honeymoon
Staff were amazing - quality of lighting and general decoration is off the scale good for ambience - best hotel we’ve stayed at in many years! Staff went out of their way to help with anything and everything - which we really appreciated!
A+++
Great vibe. Beautiful & comfy rooms. Can’t wait to come back.
The front door and desk staff are courteous and friendly. They are responsive and helpful. The terrace queen room was lovely, and the terrace was fabulous. The aesthetic is very European. The terrace door does not lock and needed the repair man to get to to close properly. The repair man came promptly. Unfortunately, there is a female bartender (tall, thin, light brown hair), who’s attitude needs an adjustment. We went to the bar our 1st night to get a drink and she seemed bothered when I asked a question about a drink. Her responses were short and rude. She needs a hospitality lesson. We left the bar without ordering and did not go back for our stay. We deducted a star for this.
Was impressed by the staff and hotel. Tons of things included that would normally be charged for in other hotels and no 'resort fee' which is nice. Area is noisy especially if you face onto Ludlow St, but lots of great bars, restaurants and shopping in the area. Close to the Tenement and New Museums.
Great hotel, convenient location and staff wonderful.
Everything was wonderful, the room was great, service was amazing and the lounge was fantastic. Close to several amenities and tourist attractions. Hope to come back again.
Love this hotel! Always great.
Lovely place, super convenient area and I loved the ambiance of the hotel. Staff was super friendly too
Simple outside but classy inside.
Love the Ludlow
Our first time at The Ludlow, we absolutely loved it and would definitely return. So many hotel choices in NYC that it’s overwhelming. I did a lot of research and one reason we chose Ludlow because of bed sizes, so many NYC rooms have 2 full beds (not queens) which is not comfortable for a family of 4. We chose the room with king bed and separate queen bed which worked perfectly for bringing our daughters. A little bit of a splurge for us but less expensive than two rooms and the high quality finishes and big beds made it worth it. Friendly staff upon check in, lovely property with timeless design. Our room was fantastic, not huge but for NY actually roomy. Gorgeous large bathroom, real brass fixtures and quality amenities. Beds were so comfortable and luxe linens. House keeping did a great job and we appreciated coming back to a tidy room when we were out exploring all day. Great location for us, a lot to walk to and a nearby subway. I enjoyed being in the lower east side, still feels very old NY and not corporate. You can’t beat being across the street from Katz deli! Oh yeah great high end small gym too. We will be back for sure!
We were very happy with the staff and accommodations from check-in to check-out. Our visits are several throughout each year and we discussed using them as our first choice for each stay. The convenience to family and everything we need is exactly what makes each visit stress free.
Efficient staff, good air conditioning, quiet, very pleasant lobby.
Absolutely lovely experience, all around. Would come back ANY DAY.
Every time I visit the Ludlow my expectations are exceeded. The staff are friendly and helpful, the food is top notch for those nights you want to eat in, and the rooms are luxurious. Highly recommended for exploring the East Village and beyond.
Great room, staff and location.
Very cozy and beautiful hotel
Amazing hotel!
The Ludlow was an exceptional hotel! From the moment we entered the lobby we were completely enthralled by the chic decor, cleanliness, and staff! The front desk attendants were top notch and so incredibly friendly! We’ll be back!
Great decor, friendly staff, fantastic location.
Close to a lively neighbourhood
Great sized room in NYC. My husband and I stayed in the king room, which was beautifully appointed and very comfortable. It had a nice seating area. There was not much storage, especially in the bathroom, but the size of the room made up for it. The area was vibrant and the staff were friendly. I would stay at the Ludlow again and would recommend it to others.
An Oasis on the LES
AMAZING hotel. An oasis at the end/beginning of each day. Service was incredible. Highly recommend!
Very nice hotel, room was larger than expected. the bar lobby had a great ambiance
I would like to know how I can start the refund process It was completely different online to in real life The staff were not helpful or warm I left immediately because I felt unsafe & it was not a fair and reasonable representation of the online advertising
The Best part was the customer service we received from Jonathon! He was so personable! Everything was Great with hotel. The restaurant Dirty French was not great. First day sat there for 20 min and decided we would just leave. Second day ordeted breakfast. No silverwear brought up. No cream for coffee and incomplete order no bacon. I called it was 40 min then they showed up with just bacon.
The Ludlow staff was amazing? My room was perfection, and the location was close to all my favorite New York spots. I will definitely be returning.
Rooms are a little small for the price, but staff are very helpful and transport links are extensive
Hotel was cool.
Restaurant next door has too much riff raff
Thank you Ludlow!
The staff and hotel were amazing. I can’t thank them enough for making this stay very special. It was everything I was aiming for and will definitely be back. Thank you Ludlow team.
Great property. Would stay again.
Looks Nice in Pics, but Dysfunctional
The room was clean and stylish but generally dyfunctional. Ironing board was too big for the small round table in the room. Bathroom door could only open part way because a chair was in the way. Restaurant service was painfully slow ... and of two items ordered ... one was unavailable (found out 30 minutes after ordering) the other was simply coffee that was room temperature from likely the day before.
Great hotel
Amazing staff!! Great cocktails and beautiful rooms
Service in lobby bar real real slow
Beautiful hotel in a great location! Huge rooms for New York City.
.
Comfortable, friendly, great location
Amazing employees; the reception team, bar tenders, restaurant waiting staff and the luggage porters are all fantastic and are a credit to the hotel. The hotel also has a beautiful lobby and lounge/bar area. The Dirty French restaurant is fabulous too. My only complaint is that booking a high floor room with city view does not mean you will get to stay in a room on a high floor nor one that has a “city view”. I booked 2x skybox loft suites which are marketed as being located on high floors providing 180 degree “city view(s)” yet the reality is the suites are located on floor 10 (perhaps lower) and come with a view of a parking lot, a building site, a FedEx office and a distant view of the financial district. Given the hotel has 19 floors and given the skybox loft suites state a city view, I’d expect the rooms I had booked to be located on a high floor with a city view but in reality the skybox suites we had looked east towards nothing at all and were located halfway up the building. Such a shame that the reality of the rooms does not correlate with what is advertised.
Pass
There are so many other hotels to stay in the LES. So do so.
