Amazing Hotel, Definitely Recommend!!

I don't know why Lin Hotel has below a 9 rating. It's an incredible hotel and feels like a Vegas 5 star hotel like the Wynn or Encore. The location is extremely close to major parts of the city. The staff is extremely nice and speaks english. The rooms were extremely spacious and clean, but the beds were a little soft. The cleaning staff comes in every day to make your bed and change the towels. The place feels like a luxury resort. The pool was extremely pretty. The gym had dumb bells, some exercise equipment, treadmills, and some cardio equipment. I would highly recommend this place to anyone coming to Taichung

Large comfortable room, including large bathroom with separated toilet. Fantastic breakfast buffet. The one shortcoming (shared with all other hotels in Taiwan where I’ve stayed) is not enough towel hangers. It’s as if the hotels expect you to use a towel once and then drop it on the floor, to be replaced by housekeeping the next day.

I stayed for two nights and on the first morning I left specific instructions at the front desk that I did not need my room cleaned, and to my surprise after I got back to my room on the evening of, the room was made up again. Ans it was clear to me that my combination lock on my weekender duffle bag had been tempered with. I left specific but random numbers on the lock before I left that morning and the numbers on the lock were of a different set when I went back that same evening. To this day I still have not gotten an explanation as to why my request to not have the room cleaned was not received. Also, there is not a decal/sign that can be hung outside the door to let staff know not to clean the room, like most hotels do have and provide, there at the Lin. It makes me wonder why that is?! And to boot, even after the room was made up after I specifically requested for it not to be, I found loose black hair (not mine as I have colored hair) on the bed under the comforter and the bed sheet. The sofa's fabric is covered with small balls of lint also. The front desk staff and bell hops working to receive guests are the only saving grace of this hotel, in my opinion. And the fact that it is located directly to the back of Tiger City, a more upscale "mall" that offers shops and eateries. Would I choose to stay at the Lin hotel again? Maybe only if I have no other options. And guys, lock up your valuables before you leave your hotel rooms!

Excellent room and overall hotel experience

Overall very positive. Buffet breakfast probably the best in town. Daily housekeeping. Super comfortable beds and pillows. I did find a strand of long black hair on bathroom floor day #1 but other than that impeccable. This certainly wasn't enough to complain about and I'm sure that if I had complained they would have put me in a new room straightaway. I've stayed here before and will certainly stay here again on my next visit to Taichung.

Ok but customer service needs some improvement

We stayed 1 night, overall the stay was good but we were disappointed by the customer service. The day before our stay we called the hotel to ask about the shuttle service, we called at least 10 times over a 5-hour period but nobody answered the phone. Most staff was kind but one particular lady was very unpleasant and unkind. The room itself was clean and well maintained, but the sofa was slightly uncomfortable. The hotel has an executive lounge on the 25th floor but only soft drinks and packaged snacks are offered.

Nice 5 star hotel in Taichung

We were able to get a slightly earlier check-in time. Personally, I felt the bed was a bit too soft, but the bed sheets were amazing smooth and soft. The toilet shower and bathtub had amazing powerful water pressure, so shower experience was good.

吃了buffet早餐後發生嚴重的急性腸胃炎,就醫服藥後仍然持續了數日。酒店方面來電說沒有調查出什麼問題,願意支付願意醫藥費(但醫藥費其實都是健保啊,酒店還真的一本正經的就賠償了掛號費而已…) 事後查了一些評論,才知道林酒店的食安問題早已惡名昭彰。…

comfortable place. staff needs better training.

front desk check-in service and house keeping were quite excellent. Concierge desk needs improvement. 1) they got confused and called my room three times. the first two times they hung up immediately when i said “hello”, the third time i switched to speaking Chinese “wei” and the person finally stopped hanging up and proceeded to communicate 2) lots of mistakes. i had returned HDMI cables at the desk but they called to ask if i wanted to borrow cables which is a request from the day before 3) i stayed an additional night so was asked to come down to renew my access card, which i did do so. however, that was pointless because by night time next day my room card stopped working anyways and i had to come down again carrying all my takeout dinner to regain entry. For a 5 star hotel, it’s all about service, so hoping that can be improved for the future.

說是兩人房卻只有一張椅子, 另一人被迫罰站 黑色格子地毯看不見藏污納垢其實很髒,塵蟎很多, 而浴缸旁無扶手,每次要入浴時都驚心膽跳 馬桶旁也無置物架可放手機,超不貼心 而那麼大的飯店居然沒有兒童遊戲室,小朋友無處可放鬆 另外櫃台人員漫不經心,光是一個車號縱使覆誦再三,仍然記不住 打著五星級的名號,拿出這樣的品質,住宿超級超級不推!

クラブラウンジプランでの宿泊だったが、ハッピーアワーは14:00〜17:00のため、一度も行かず。この時間帯出かけている人には何の意味もないラウンジかと思います。 ホテルの部屋はとても広く眺めも良かったので、New Yearの花火打ち上げもゆったり部屋から眺めることが出来ました。 バスルームはバスとシャワーが別々になっていますが、バスからシャワー室に移動するのにドアの開く方向が動線と逆だったり、微妙な作りではありますが、全体としては悪くありません。 朝食ビュッフェは品数が多く、和洋中から選べます。会場も巨大で待つ事はありませんでした。会場に入る人数が非常に多いため、料理のピックアップには並ぶ必要があり、面倒くさくなって種類を食べていませんが、問題ないと思います。 周りに食事をする店も多いし、Uberを呼べばどこにでも行けますので、総合評価としては良いホテルだと思います。

此為第二次入住,以此收費金額,第一次時發現竟然沒有免治馬桶,過了幾年再次入住,結果還是一樣沒改進,基本的衛浴設備改進應該是要與時漸進,才會吸引客人. 第二停車收費問題,以目前有開電動車的車主來說入住飯店最少會看介紹有沒有充電樁 ,以此收費的飯店星級,連基本的免費充電樁都沒有,要充電還需要另外收費,讓入住客人感觀不好.連一般飯店都比不上. 第三電梯等太久了,若碰上退房或團客,電梯最少都要等五分鐘以上.

住這裡損失的不是錢是心情和尊嚴

1.入住時,櫃檯人員不會主動打招呼 2. 政府規範飯店不得主動提供一次性用品,但是顧客有急需求時仍可索取,或提供購買,櫃檯不曾主動告知,顧客主動索取時,堅持稱政府相關規定飯店不得幫忙送至客房,但卻提供不出相關規定的法規,也不肯承認是飯店自己的規定,完全不符合五星級飯店該有的服務水準。 3. 客人半夜下樓索取時,當著客人的面切切私語,又將已經準備好的牙具拿走,服務態度讓人有種覺得佔他們便宜的心態。 4.打電話跟值班經理抱怨此事,經理的態度現在打辯論比賽傳了一堆新聞到我的Line甚至裡面有一些還是草案。並沒有第一時間道歉會有其他補救措施有失五星級飯店的水準。 5.退房時,櫃檯人員拿了一個裝了$1000的信封說這是退還給我們的牙具費用,並沒有相關的領導階層出面處理,此事讓人感覺不受重視。 整個林酒店的服務並沒有讓客人感覺到賓至如歸與其他五星級酒店相差甚遠。如果是衝著服務來住這間酒店的人可以避雷了。整個服務品質甚至比某些民宿還要差。 6.1000元和禮品我們拒絕接受,我們拒絕了沒有誠意的擺平!

CP值不高的飯店

剛進門就發現浴室的垃圾桶沒清,還留著上一個房客的垃圾,這樣第一印象就很不好。後來發現左邊洗手槽的排水拉桿有問題和廁所捲筒衛生紙架沒固定,這些小細節雖然不造成不方便,但都讓住宿的感受變的不好。床也是太軟而且中間會塌陷。優點是房間很安靜,早餐吃的選擇多。台中有很多價位差不多飯店,應該有更好的選擇。

電梯無敵霹靂難等,是我有史以來住過國內外五星四星飯店最慢!有7部電梯竟然還要等了20分鐘… 房間清潔度也待加強,一進門霉味很重;衣櫃上有蜘蛛網;浴室體重機是故障的,裡頭電池都鏽蝕了。 值得誇獎的是,飯店房務跟餐廳服務人員雖然都是外籍員工,但服務態度很好笑容親切,值得嘉許!

很開心的旅程

這趟是慶生之旅,酒店很貼心的送了一個好吃的起司蛋糕。 擔心小朋友睡覺翻到床下,旅館也多拿來兩個乳膠枕頭讓我能當床圍圍起來。 小朋友非常喜歡泳池,很安全也很放鬆,玩得很開心,大人也覺得舒適,下次去台中還會想住😊

飯店位置優異,位在台中七期,靠近老虎城、台中新光三越、台中大遠百三家大型購物中心與百貨公司。交通位置距離朝馬轉運站、高速公路、捷運市政府站也都很近。 飯店本身設施比較老舊一點,有一些歲月痕跡,房間內部馬桶在此次住宿過程中出現堵塞的狀況,惟通知飯店人員後反應尚算及時。 房間內部整潔度尚可,但沙發區有歲月痕跡與毛絮,床本身很好睡。 浴室本身整潔度不錯,且空間很大,有兩個面盆方便兩人同時使用,馬桶配有免治沖水裝置,但沖水水壓不太夠,要多次沖水方可成功。 飯店早餐為免費附送,餐點多樣化程度普通,美味程度中下,若追求美食,可以到附近吃早午餐。 飯店人員普遍友善、有禮,值得稱許。 門房亦會協助提領計程車上的行李,並協助開門。

設備跟早餐都不錯。小孩入住有提供嬰兒床及消毒鍋這點很讚。另外還很貼心準備小朋友的點心跟漱口杯,很👍!

房間沙發上有些許白色棉絮附著,因為沙發式深色地所以看起來明顯感覺髒髒的。 晚上想詢問房務問題,打電話到客服中心、房務中心都沒人接,櫃台也是打了好久才接通。

入住行政房間,房間裡面沒有確實打掃,垃圾桶外殼很髒看了很無言,熱水壺也不乾淨,房間布椅子看起來許久沒細清,整體很訝異竟然一個飯店價位不便宜但缺不乾淨。看google評論才發覺超多人抱怨房間不乾淨的問題,顯然存在許久了但林酒店遲遲不改進,下次來台中遊玩絕對不會再選擇林酒店

林酒店住宿

入住及各項服務與人員的招待都非常讓人感到貼心,賓至如歸,唯一就是電視遙控器不受控,及房間各個燈具的開關指示不清楚,其他都一流,餐點與香氛更是我選擇再次入住的原因。
