My stay there was amazing! Room service was excellent! But front desk personal not very friendly and not willing to help. But everything else was great!
Great hotel
OK
Very old hotel at good location, little noisy and wired security guard checking guests at elevator…
Poor service. breakfast is poor repeat the same food. Building and facilities very old
Very old building and staff not helpful and unfriendly .
.
Not bad for an old-fashioned hotel
Very close to Sanlitun and embassy area
The pool was not working
Excellent hotel with lovely staff and a fantastic room with a beautiful room. The only problem was a loose bathplug mechanism that made filling the bath a long and troublesome event.
Despite its age the hotel has been kept clean, tidy and comfortable. The service is generally good. The location of the hotel is ideal if you are working in the Eastern district of Beijing.
Good infrastructure, pretty old though breakfast and service were disappointing. you can tell that the management is hands-on
It’s a convenient hotel, good location but needs to be updated in the rooms.
Cleanliness and old furniture, bad location
Concierge was awesome.
Needs updates. Clean but falling apart. Cracks in tiles. Bathroom is under par. Broken furniture pieces.
over all good but shower tub
Staffs are very kind and make me comfort. Restaurant and location is also good. But there was drain problem at shower tub. Kind of disgusting.
Very old and dated hotel, terrible service. Hotel staff were extremely rude, service always felt like you owe them a million bucks. Better off spending your money elsewhere.
The is very clean, a bit run down but still best for the money and its its realatively close to the subway
Close to metro. Close to business area. Have to walk 15 minutes to find good restaurants nearby.
Nice and clean with good service Uncomfortable bed and not enough plugs to charge you phone at bedside. Breakfast is not as good as other same hotels.
Decent price, good location, old rooms.
Service was fast and helpful, bath tub was so tiny, old rooms and quite small. Good location
Very nice hotel, clean, staff is friendly and courteous, only stayed one night and did not do anything at the hotel.
Good service
Excellent hotel. Used the inroom dining a couple of times - food very good, came quickly and reasonably priced.
Good value for the price
Cannot beat price. Comfort rooms and good service. Room decoration outdated.
Nice location, near two metro stops, shopping centers, bars, restaurants. Spacious rooms, good amenities, excellent WiFi! Enjoyed stayed there. No complaints!
Clean, comfortable, quiet and friendly hotel. Will stay here again.
Great location, worth of money, easy access to subway
Good hotel for the price, will recommend to friends and will stay there again if possible.
nice memory
Would not stay again unless absolutely needed
I would never stay at this hotel again, to be honest. I'm on my 4th out of 14th night and I feel like leaving already. Too many issues that made this stay very poor: 1. At check-in, the receptionist refused to give me a second key. Every other hotel gives two keys at check-in regardless of one or two guests, but they refused despite me asking many times for a second key. 2. Bad air conditioner and safety box - I had to ask multiple times to get the air conditioner checked and finally they gave me a new room. 3. Really bad smoke smell - Feels like someone's been smoking all day on this floor even though it's a non smoking hotel. Clearly no one's taken action on this yet. There are far better 4-star hotels to stay in.
Nice location and fair price
Nice location and fair price. It's on airport shuttle line 1. Fitness center is clean.
Good location
Good location for the money spent on the rooms
No water at 6 am in the Taps staff do not sisal English
nothing i like. The facilities are old and the decoration is old. A lot of the doors are painted off and there's no hot water.
I would’ve given this hotel a really good rating overall but I pre-paided for a double bed suite and they gave me a single. I didn’t speak the language so I couldn’t work out a change. They did bring a rollaway but when I got back from my stay I saw that I got charged for that too. really nice place but mixing up the reservation made it not worth it.
Close to metro, place is a bit rundown. Staff nice, good value for the money paid.
The check-in was very easy despite being very late at night the hotel is easily accessible from the Beijing subway system the rooms are nice
Hotel is in a good location which meet my needs. It’s an old hotel however because of its age, the room itself is spacious compared to lots of newer hotels. Customer service in the hotel is minimum. I called the CS number to ask a question and the lady hanged on me as soon as she answered the question. The breakfast offers good variety of selections however, guests have to share table with other strangers due to the limited space in that breakfast area. All in all, it’s a decent hotel but not 5 stars for sure.
Good.
Good hotel, good service.
Well Maintained
Back up Beijing after 6 years. 1st stay with the hotel was 2002. Condition still good, service still excellent. Great stay
The overall atmosphere is a little outdated.
A very nice place to stay. Good restaurants, great bars, great seafood restaurant around the corner.
Very few staff speak any English. Room was dirty. Dust everywhere.
Over all it was a pleasant stay
Frontdesk staff kindly upgraded my room as Queen-size bed rooms were full. The hotel was quite busy due to one belt one road meeting.. Breakfast was very average and empty plates were not refilled quickly enough.
I like the position. I didn't like the general maintenance.
Well located and reasonably priced
Reasonably priced and well located near the Embassies in Chaoyang district. Rooms are spacious and well equipped but are already well 'lived in'. A new lick of paint and some small touch up here or there would be useful.
The location was sublime, a 20 minute walk from shopping and entertainment district sanlitun, embassies, and extremely close to lovely scenic walks, restaurants and shops located in 蓝色港湾。 The room was a fusion of modern tech and olden day class, price was fine for services and room received. Will definitely stay here again!
Clean and nice. But location is not good. No restaurant and shopping store nearby.
Bad
The reception service is terrible. People are cold.
Nice service
Staff are very polite and supportive. I need to send a parcel and had to leave them with the concierge, they called the delivery company and get it delivered the very next day. Very happy with the service!
Concierge was very helpful in providing recommendations for food. They also had a place to book tours, which is where we booked our Great Wall of China tour. They were very friendly and helpful!
Excellent 5-star hotel
This hotel is great and a bargain. I should say that I didn't eat in the hotel or use any of its services, but the room was of a very high standard. I would have no hesitation in staying here again.
Good breakfast. Tired property xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Stayed for one week at this hotel, loved it. Convenient to travel around to catch up with friends. Great coffee downstairs, always went there for my breakkie, however, muffin needs a bit of improvement :)
Hotel is fine. A shame the pool was closed.
Great location
Great location very easy access to the airport highway and also close to Sanlitun. Rooms are spacious however it can be a little bit dated.
The location is great, the food is very good service is fine.
They discriminate about registering someone visiting the guest at hotel, they ask my guest to show the ID and register, during my stay I saw many people came to lobby to meet the guest and went to room, no one was asked to register. Rules should be same for everyone
No chance to regret.
Fantastic. Well kept and well managed. Good security too. Not chance to try those food at the indoor restaurants but will make my stay at this hotel the next time when I am back.
Good experience. Hotel is a little old, but good condition. Large breakfast buffet, about 200-300 meters from subway stop. A starbucks and a couple restaurants nearby. Big gym, but equipment is a tad old. Staff are all quite nice. They brought me a humidifier and changed my in-room safe. Not too expensive.
Overall, my stay was comfortable and location very convenient. Internet was a struggle and communication with staff in English very difficult. Concierge staff very helpful!
Poor stay
The hotel is very dated in need of update, which is a shame for the area, the sink in my room was cracked and no effort was made to repair. I stayed in many hotels in the area and all others were in excellent condition.
Above average
Generally good hotel to stay in. Though slightly away from city centre, it is still pretty convenient as it is walking distance to subway stations which link to the typical attractions, less great wall of china of course. Also convenient and quite fast to travel to airport from hotel location. Comfortable walking distance to some of the nice bars if weather is good
Location is good. Service was very average. The front desk was ok. But other staff were not that nice.
Quality hotel at a value price. Limited places to eat nearby.
Average
I was made to wait at check-in as very few staff and very slow. Needs renovation. Room Service was ok, slightly pricey for the quality. Telephone in the rooms need to be cleaned as they don't smell nice. Difficult to get a taxi from this hotel. Not sure I would stay here again for the price I paid.
The hotel is in a good location and near the subway but the facilities are out of date and should only be a 3 star hotel. The check in staff was ok and fairly efficient but other staff were not friendly, no smile no greeting...
Would like to come back if the swimming pool open
The facility is a little bit old, need more upgrades and renovations. But closer to public transportation and shopping store, especially there is airport shuttle at location.
Reasonably priced older hotel
Pretty nice hotel. Relatively short walk to subway. Service was great.
It was old and not taken care of. After I was warned against smoking in my room during checkout, (which I never do), i found my room and all of the furniture, wreaked of smoke.
Good location
Compare to last staying the overall service and management were a lot worse than before, the front desk staff was nice but not familiar with work, the breakfast buffet was terrible.
its a government hotel
The room is 5-ish star though the bathroom is only 4 star. The most annoying thing is that it is no longer a sheraton but I suspect a government hotel--thus they do not put much emphasis on putting the customer first--The management is also very strict so if you are looking for a hotel with leniency this is not the one for you. Also the plugs in the room are HK style--God knows why since its in China. The outside swimming pool is derelict and you get a sense that they are operating on the coat tails of what this hotel used to be like when run under the corporate guidance of Sheraton. I will not be staying there again.
Great area, old hotel condition
The hotel is located in a great location. But it's interior and the rooms needs some renovation. OK breakfast.
Great Stay
Good location close to subway, rooms were very roomy and confortable. Breakfast was amazing. 100% recommand.
Overall good. Convenient location to the airport and two subway stations nearby. Staff in the lobby are friendly and helpful. But their restaurants at the 21st floor, known as the 21st Floor, is not recommended. You thought you could enjoy the night view of the city there but what you saw was just mirror and yourself with the coated glass. Coke was 45 yuan per can, which is 7 USD! Even so, the waitress wanted to the use my old glass with leftover Coke to fill iced water for me! The service in this famous restaurants was so unprofessional that I complained to the management and they apologized. But I will never go back to this hotel restaurants.
Best hotel in Beijing
enjoyable. Language barrier was less of a problem than it was at other hotels I stayed at in Beijing.
The hotel location is very convenient. The price is reasonable. The TV etc in the room is updated. But the bathroom is outdated and worn out. The room clean service is good and in time. The service awareness of other places needs to be improved. For example, the clean lady is using the vacuum cleaner to clean the elevator entry while customers are passing to the elevator.
Just above standard local Chinese hotel
It is an OK hotel. Old but OK. Staff needs to work on manners. The location suits me well.
Excellent location is what sells this place, especially for those seeking walking access to Sanlitun, and at the right part of the city for easy access from and to airport (30 min and RMB70). However if you expect modern Westin style rooms and facilities, this is not the place for you. This is a 20 year old business hotel experience. It's fine and clean, and comes at an appropriately attractive price.
Sign of a great hotel.
It was a decent hotel, I’d stay there again. There was no English signage on the exterior of the hotel, so I wa not sure I was at the right hotel.
An old hotel needing updates
The hotel isn't bad, but it's an old hotel for sure. It's overall comfortable given temperatures in early May, but air conditioning wasn't strong to cool the room in mid-summer. The biggest problem was the lack of US-compatible power outlets. Anyone who doesn't carry multiple e-devices needs to carry one or two power outlet adapters.
Rusty pool
While I liked all facilities, I was shocked to see a rusty pool, something I would not expect for a 5-star hotel!
Nice hotel close to subway, good services
The hotel is clean, good quality of services and close to the subway station. There are no many choices of restaurant inside of the hotel. But it is ok. Still was given 5 stars. I recommend.
Nice location
Food should be better, comfort bed, clean, fitness need to be upgraded
HOT WATER PLEASE
Location is ok (10 mins to Metro in Liangmaqiao Station Line 10) and overall hotel quality is alright (namely as the result of being a Sheraton Hotel prior) but my room (1438) has no hot water. This affected my overall rating for this hotel.
Everything was good except temperature
Everything was good or very good except that it was sometimes cold in my room and in the big meeting room at the 2nd floor. Activation of the AC with "Heat" made situation worse, from which I conclude that the AC was cooling in both "Heat" and "Cool" positions
The lobby was ice cold, the breakfast was an Asian breakfast, the neighborhood has nothing for tourists.
The bed was really uncomfitable but this is standard in China but I was told that high end hotels would have ones that are "Western Standard" this is not one of those hotels. Service was friendly and spoke good English, I did not get to use any of the hotel facilities since there is way too much to do in Beijing than spend it in the hotel. Hotel is in the middle of 2 metro stations on Line 10 which is convient to/from the airport and with connecting to anywhere in Beijing; I would say that this is the only good thing about this hotel.
for a quick overnight staying this hotel is pretty nice, good service and help
It used to be a Sheraton hotel, but not anymore. Services are under par judging by five-star hotel standards. For example, no one came to help out with my luggage when I arrived by cab.i
This hotel was very famous in Beijing before. But now it looks like this was the old story. The hotel staff appear to be not so friendly. Really need more professional training.
Make your online reservation explicit. Indicate clearly rooms with and without breakfast. Such information is important for a first visitor to china.
Safe and closed to subway
Very nice hotel overall, only complaint is it’s not closed to anything . You have go far to find a grocery store or shopping mall.
everything good
good location and big bed... overall is good and i enjoy the nights there while working...
In moderate
Hotel was a bit old, room is OK, typical Sheraton’s style.
受けスタッフの態度が悪くて、専門的ではないです。
Ich hatte ein schönes und großes Zimmer, leider ist die Einrichtung etwas alt
Hotel is on the old side but not disappointing. Good location, close to train stations and easy access. Housekeeping was good. More locals vs. foreigners so staff speak limited English. Concierge is helpful and front desk was hospitable. All in all stay was great.
