Loved my stay with you!
We stayed for six nights at the Blossom Kyoto and loved the hotel for its value, amenities, cleanliness, and staff. Comparing it to our hotels in Tokyo and Osaka, the Blossom was so much nicer for a comparable price. We enjoyed the delicious buffet breakfast, self-service laundromat, and the free snacks available. The Blossom also had a nice gym and onsen which we didn't take advantage of. Midway through our stay, we moved from two double rooms to one triple room and the hotel handled our luggage and it was effortless for all of us! The rooms were clean, well-appointed, and quiet. The hotel is centrally located not far from Kyoto Station. I would highly recommend staying at the Blossom Kyoto!
The Kyoto Blossoms offers excellent service including a dining room that provides scrumptious breakfast (plus free tickets for light lunch) and a basement that offers free coffee/tea/popsicles/nuts between 7 am and 11pm. The Hotel is convenientlly located near many restaurants and shopping area, within walking distance.
A decent hotel in Kyoto
The location of the hotel is great and very convenient.. It is close to a subway station. There are quite a few good restaurants and a supermarket nearby. Breakfast was included and the selection was good. The Deluxe Twin Room was smaller than expected.
a nice hotel in a great location
The hotel is very tasteful designed and comfortable. It's conveniently located some 15 minutes' walk from the railway station and close to the city centre. The description is faithful to the reality. The staff was pleasant and courteous but not all of them had good command of English.
A charming hotel! We loved it.
Super clean, friendly staff, comfortable rooms. The complementary snacks & drinks was a nice touch. The Onsen bathing area was clean with a big hot pool. Great location, walkable everywhere. Close to the Train station.
Located just short walk to train station, bus stop, seven eleven and local grocery store. Hotel looks new and modern. Staff are very friendly and responsive. Guest lounge in the basement offers free coffee, tea, juices, soft drinks, ice cream and snacks. Six coin operated laundry machines are there too. There is hot spa for free use but the water is not mineral. It is good enough unwind after long day of exploring Kyoto. Breakfast is not exclusive.
It's an attractive hotel. It gives you a start to Kyoto. Check in was easy and the welcome drink was appreciated. The room was a good size for the active traveler. The snacks offered in the basement of the hotel were nice along with the laundry and workout rooms. We really enjoyed our dinner at their restaurant. The pasta dishes that we ordered were all really delicious. The service was also good. Just remember that they value a customer's privacy and won't check on your table unless it's requested. I would return to this hotel.
What a beautiful property. Also, the Osen is top notch after a long day of walking. Nothing to do in the immediate neighborhood, but it is close to bus stops and the subway station. Would definitely stay again: the one negative I have is that the shower in the room is Mickey Mouse. It is not functional for an adult.
Beautiful facility, beautiful and spacious rooms. No complaints.
This was the best hotel we stayed at on our recent trip to Japan. The spa was very beautiful and peaceful. The best were super comfortable and overall experience was top notch!
The hotel was beautiful and clean!!! The room was good size for our family of four. It was located within a 5 minute walk to the train station and close to conscience stores for easy access to food!
We’re a family of 4 with 2 young kids (7 & 4). It was very convenient and the snacks/drinks amenities were extra nice as our children loved going there for snacks. Doing laundry was easy and convenient. And the Japanese bath area was very relaxing for the adults. Rooms were spacious enough for a family of four and very clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. Overall 5/5!
Adequate but not worth the price paid
Excellent hotel, clean and good breakfast options. Negatives: staff didn’t speak English well so we weren’t aware of all amenities that the hotel offers such as free snacks, juices, drinks, coffee, etc. Hower, the staffs are helpful fixing the aaC and overheated water in the room.
One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at in my life. Everything was incredible from the staff to the rooms to the view in the hotel.
The amenities are excellent including complimentary coffee, snacks, onsen, gym. Walking distance to Kyoto sights, close to river for morning jog. Very helpful staff. Five stars.
The staffs are very friendly. But the room is terribly small. Location is not very ideal because I just found out most of my friends stay at another big street which has lots of fancy hotels. This one charges me over price but they offer light lunch and free breakfast but we are walking outside.
The Blossom at Kyoto is a gem of a place to stay within walking distance of the Gojo subway station. The hotel is very elegantly styled, offers incredible service and has an amazing onsite restaurant (Kyoto Gojo Ono) which serves steaks which will melt in your mouth. We stayed in a triple room with 3 beds and it was surprisingly spacious for a Kyoto hotel. The furnishings were very moderns with a tatami mat space and elegant Japanese minimalist style. There were several restaurants within walking distance of the hotel including quick fast food options. It was an excellent experience for all of us and my teen daughter loved the place.
.
Loved everything
Amazing!
beautiful hotel, quiet, safe - good location to walk to places & good train connections. Gojo is a fantastic place to stay in Kyoto if you want to be close to nightlife but not close enough its keeping you up at night!
The onsen and staff where great
Kioto great
Excelente opción en Kioto , lo repetiría en especial porque el desayuno es de excelente calidad y a muy buen precio. El subway esta a cuadra y media
Staff was very friendly & helpful. Room was very spacious by Japan standards. Room was very clean and quiet.
Love the room and all the amenities including pajamas, toiletries, and guest lounge with delicious coffee and snacks. Definitely opt in for the breakfast option. Staff was kind and very helpful.
Blossom by name, blossom by nature.
Location was perfect for our stay. Only a 20 minute walk from Kyoto station in one (south) direction and the Gion district (north). Efficient laundry area that saved me! Spacious guest areas around the lobby. Although we did not have breakfast we did eat supper one evening, which was very tasty. We ordered 2 salads and chicken and the waiter kindly pointed out that the salads are big; so we only needed one.
Convenient and relaxing!
Once you check-in they provide a little refresher treat which was really nice since we took a train to Kyoto! The laundromat was a life saver and convenient to use. Overall the onsen, the hotel, and the atmosphere was very relaxing. Love that it was convenient near stores/shopping mall too (not too far of a walk)!
the public bath is very nice
Excellent property. Good location, 10 min from Nishiki market. Definitely will stay there again.
Excellent location and Excellent staff. Cleanest hotel I have been in.
I recently stayed at the Blossom and it was an incredible experience! One of the standout features was the spacious rooms—much larger than I expected for Japan, making it super comfortable to relax after a long day of exploring. The hotel gym was another highlight. Unlike many hotel gyms that only have basic equipment, this one was large and well-equipped with free weights, which was a huge plus for anyone who enjoys a proper workout. Another great perk was the lounge downstairs. It was a perfect spot to unwind, and they even provided complimentary snacks like ice cream and cookies—such a nice touch! Whether I wanted to hang out or grab a quick treat, it added to the overall relaxing atmosphere of the hotel. The only downside was that the washing machines were always occupied, which made it a bit difficult to do laundry when needed. It would have been nice if there were more machines available. Overall, my stay was fantastic, and I’d definitely come back. If you’re looking for a hotel in Japan with spacious rooms, great amenities, and thoughtful extras, this place is a great choice!
Staff can be little more friendly. Also give additional towels in the room
Staff was awesome. The property was very clean. The location is in a very great spot in Kyoto. I recommend this property to anyone visiting Kyoto.
Our best stay in Japan. Room was spacious and amenities were great. Onsen is very nice and breakfast offered good options.
Great location and onsite
Great hotel!
The Staff were very welcoming
Amazing stay!
The hotel was well appointed comfortable and had a lot of amenities. I appreciated the ease of checkin/ out. Wonderful stay
Gorgeous hotel with onsen. Snacks and drink available all day and night. Delicious breakfast. Convenient to transport and walking to city center.
The snack and gift is great. The environment is great.
Stayed 2 nights. Train Stn is 5min walk away. Property is very clean and modern. Guest Lounge amenities is superb with unlimited drinks and snacks. The killer is the Onsen bathe they have at the basement. The trip is so relaxing..should have stayed longer in Kyoto with The Blossom. Coming back definitely!
Beautiful property
Very elegant design starting from the entrance. Every corner is clean and tidy. Onsen is great with amenities and even providing snacks and drinks.
The property was very nice and clean. Would stay again.
We had a lovely stay for three nights- fabulous location and a beautiful hotel.
What an absolutely stunning hotel! Everything from the lobby, guest area to the room was so beautiful and calming. The room was genuinely spacious and not just by Japanese standards. The little guest lounge was so lovely after a long day of exploring, with its lovely complimentary snacks and drinks. The staff was beyond friendly and helpful. It was a joy to stay there and would recommend it to anyone staying in Kyoto!
The staff were so attentive and helpful, the hotel was very nice and super clean. The guest lounge was amazing! Would highly recommend this hotel to any traveler.
The staff was extremely nice and eager to help the amenities with the hotel were great such as 24 hour beverages and snacks and a gym. The shower was amazing with very high water pressure. I would highly suggest down here to anyone that wants to stay in Kyoto.
The hotel was beautiful, and all the facilities were clean and tidy.
Nice and quiet place to stay. They provide welcome drink to everyone of my family. Onsen is also great with snacks and drinks provided.
Amazing.
Excellent place to stay in Kyoto. We walked to the Kyoto Imperial Palace and many other sites. Staff and service at the hotel was great.
Great decision staying here, very close to the metro station and also close to many places of interest. The hotel was great, rooms were clean and quiet, and KUDOS for the staff in special Giri who help us locate a bag we forgot at the train with passports, computer, wallet and many more important things. He help us to locate it and they even ship it to the hotel for a small fee. That was the absolute best part. Would definitely recommend and come back if we ever visit Japan again.
Na
Nearly a perfect hotel! Great location, delicious breakfast buffet, well appointed rooms of very generous size, and overall very beautiful and thoughtful throughout. My one major criticism is they have a lovely public bath in the basement but they don’t let you use it if you have tattoos. I understand this is a traditional Japanese rule, but I’ve stayed at dozens of onsen in Japan that have gone away with this silly practice. In a hotel that’s so modern and new, it feels archaic to still not let people with tattoos use the public bath.
We loved our stay! But when we tried to do laundry, we didn't have enough coins. We needed to travel down the street to get more coins. I would recommend having a coin machine in the hotel, so guests can put in their paper money and get coins for the machines!
Great place to stay
Beautiful property. Amazing facilities except the path. Felt like the staff could have been friendlier like greeting etc, still good service overall. One critique is WiFi was absolutely slow from our room.
Very comfortable. Staff was helpful. Breakfast was good but not special
Excellent service. The design of the hotel is artistic and comfort to use.
Great stay
Had a great stay at the blossom Kyoto. Stayed at the one in Tokyo last week - this hotel has better beds and better sized rooms. Service was great as well.
The hotel was beautiful. The staff was extremely helpful. The amenities were exceptional.
Really nice place to stay
Lovely property. Clean and guest lounge fantastic. Onsen on property too. However with Kyoto landmarks being spread out it would have been closer staying near Kyoto station. Great property but nothing much in the close proximity
The hotel was beautiful!
Excellent value and great service
The staff was very helpful with transportation needs, and room service needs plus they offered a lot of free extras, which helped
A great hotel to stay and highly recommended
This is a delightful hotel in a great part of Kyoto. The staff were excellent and always helpful and cheerful.
Great place to stay in Kyoto.
Would visit again
Good hotel. In a great neighborhood. Somewhat clean. Very good breakfast spread. Walkable to subway. Has a good lobby.
We had such a great stay i went with my son and it was a beautiful hotel with great location.
32/10 was sad to leave the hotel it’s beautiful, clean and the onsen is life changing
Staff was great!!
Honestly one of the best hotels I’ve been in Tokyo. Service was supreme and it’s so beautifully decorated outside and inside. Customer service was very friendly and helped me with any questions or issues I had during mg stay. Check in service is beyond super welcoming and explanatory- loved the process and the treats especially the matcha smoothie . The amenities and the room setup was super comfortable and they honestly did the perfect job designing the place walking into the lobby was such an experience from the zen garden and tiles interior and exterior. Restaurant food is delicious. And super kind of them to include a guest break room in the basement filled with delicious drinks, snacks and icecream bars. I loved every minute 💜💜 Everywhere you wanted to go to is walking distance too!!
This was a wonderful hotel in a convenient area of Kyoto, right by a subway station and nice restaurants. The room was very nice with comfortable beds and a nicely designed bathroom. We had a bed with 3 rooms which was great for our group. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. If I get to return to Kyoto, I would definitely stay here again!
Very clean hotel, elegantly designed and decorated, conveniently located, and with extremely friendly and helpful staff. Loved the bath and lounge facilities. Extra kudos for front desk helping us with dinner reservations and with searching for a lost item. Highly recommend.
Beautiful hotel , excellent service , high quality food , friendly and professional staff , good location , quiet
I loved the Hotel Blossom chains, both at Tokyo and Kyoto,
Very nice and well kept. Good location. Great breakfast options and staff very nice.
Nice recent hotel with comfortable bedroom the location is within 5 min walk from the subway station and 15 min walk from the downtown for shopping centres and lot of restaurant options.
Beautiful hotel! Staff was amazing and even provided cover-ups for my tattoos to enjoy the onsen.
Snacks room and onsite laundry very convenient. Great check-in experience and very helpful and friendly staff. Hotel was fantastic and easily walkable to centre of Kyoto or just 1 subway station away.
Love this place so much. Serene. Unique. And it’s everything I wanted from a stay in Kyoto.
My family and I got the quadruple room with 4 single beds. The hotel itself is very beautiful and modern. It is so close to the metro station which is about 5 mins walk. When we arrived there, they gave us a complimentary welcome drink. The room is massive with lots of amnetives and there are 2 toilets in the room for 4 of us. There are so much space to put our 3 big luggages and 2 carry on luggages. On the basement floor, you can use the washing/dryer machines to wash and dry your clothes. There is a section where the guests of the hotel can get free drinks, snacks and ice creams. The staffs there are very professional and friendly. They even helped us with the luggage delivery service arrangement. The breakfast there were nice too. Overall, i think this is the best hotel that we ever stayed in Japan.
Staff was very nice, wonderful attention to detail and too notch amenities.
Exquisite property. The entrance was designed to take you off a busy street into a tranquil setting. Attentive staff, classy finishes throughout. Would definitely go back.
Excellent
Out of the hotel I stayed at during my two week vacation , I loved our Kyoto hotel. You can really feel the Japanese aesthetic and the staff were all nice.
Very well run hotel
The staff is friendly, helpful, well trained, and with good manners. The hotel is very generous to offer free and delicious snacks, hot and soft drinks, and even ice-cream in the lounge area. We felt most welcome and being treated well during our staying. This hotel is a gem.
First class. Would stay again next time in Kyoto without hesitation.
Very nice hotel, we really enjoyed our stay
Pro: Great service and prime location—just 2 minutes to JR Station and 1 minute to a food market. Room is clean. The room cleaning lady was very friendly and even provided extra bottled water upon request. Con : the cleanliness of the hotel facilities were disappointing: strong smoking odor in the elevator, dirty hot spring area, and the water in B1 made my skin feel irritated after bathing. Feels more like a 3-star than a 4-star hotel.
Very nice hotel, great amenities
Great time and stay! Wonderful place to stay and location is great!
Helpful staff and place was really nice
Clean, modern, love the Japanese bath within the facility.
The best hotel of our Japan vacation
This hotel was the best!! Loved the onsen it was the highlight for sure and the rooms were very comfortable and spacious. staff also amazing
Everything was so pretty in this hotel! My wife and I loved it! The only negative points that I have is that the elevators smells to cigarrete for some reason and there's no clock on the public bath so you can't check the hour in the meantime you are in :)
Good value hotel
The Blossom was a nice hotel for the price. The welcome drink and lounge with snacks was a plus. The beds weren’t the most comfortable but the size of the room was nice. Close to train station.
