The anvaya’s staff were all so helpful and the breakfast buffet here was by far the best out of any hotel we’ve been to

PROS: Fairly new, well-maintained property. Staff were friendly, very helpful. Breakfast choices were amazing! Good location - walking distances to shopping. CONS: Deluxe Room - very small, would not choose this again, suitcase goes into the bathroom, no room for other large suitcases. Our room had lots of background noise (equipment - possibly air-conditioning), we asked for other rooms and got them, however, our 16 year old daughter and her friend did not get their room till 11.30 pm. (We checked into the hotel at about 4.00 pm - so this was very poor!) Lots of (ethnics) staying there - their mannerism was poor, rude to staff, older men flirted with and hassled our daughter and friend. (We reported this to the hotel - there are cameras everywhere, but they said there was a problem with the cameras!!) (Really!!!) Overall, a nice place to stay, but probably not our number one choice (having stayed in Bali 14 times). If it was not for the friendly staff (particularly Shandy - customer relations, Agung - breakfast restaurant, and Ari - check in / out reservations, Ayu - customer relations) I would have given the hotel 3 stars. It was the staff that made the hotel experience good. Thank you, Shandy, Ari, Agung, and Ayu!!

Direct waterfront property with beautiful breeze at night. Excellent breakfast with varied cuisine offered. Very convenient to airport, only a 15 minute ride. Rooms were on the small side and rather dark and halls could be a bit noisy.

Great Stay

Great hotel to stay right in the centre of kuta. Mall about minutes walk from hotel. Hotel in itself is amazing with its pools and restaurant and also professional massage services. Sunsets were also great from the bar. Will come bac again soon.

Anvaya Beach Resort Bali: A Mixed Bag of Experiences Anvaya Beach Resort Bali offers a few positive aspects. The food is delicious, and the property is well-maintained, boasting clean and spacious rooms. The swimming pool is also a nice feature. However, the service provided by the staff is a significant letdown. Reception and operator staff lack professionalism and helpfulness, which can significantly impact the overall guest experience. Additionally, the beach area is unclean, which is disappointing for a beach resort. One particularly troubling incident for our family with a 6-month-old baby when air conditioning unit malfunctioned. Despite request, the issue could not be addressed, resulting in a highly uncomfortable stay. The subsequent room change process was poorly managed, adding to the family's stress and frustration. The lack of empathy and professionalism displayed by the staff during this ordeal was disheartening.

Nice place to stay. Easy to walk around and enjoy good food. Lots of activities n people will pick up and drop u off. No worry! Very enjoy my trip!❤️

This hotel is excellent. The facility has a beachfront. It is clean and the surrounding was just awesome. We trully enjoyed our stay the entire time and wished we could stay a bit longer. What made our stay remarkable is the staff! We loved that the staff of this hotel are so friendly and geniunely nice and very assisting. I felt very so good being in the hotel. The restaurants are great. The food is excellent. The service staff is amazing. We get to chat and know couple of the staff and it made it more comfortable for our short stay. We will definely comeback to Bali. Anvaya Beach Resort Bali will definely our first choise of hotel accommodation!

Only downfall is they should have a coffee machine at breakfast rather than ordering it as it is a buffet style breakfast. There were many mornings we ordered from the waiters and no coffee was ever received.

The check in was an absolute shambles. Treated badly. Kept waiting. I didn’t get to my room until 3.45 and no luggage until 4 . Room service fast but food cold , not cooked properly and awful . I was so hungry I ate some of it and got indigestion which I’ve never had be. Have cancelled tonight’s stay that I had added . Very disappointed. Beautiful building but absolutely no service or soul!

The staff really make this resort. Unfailingly lovely and helpful. Cocktails as the sun sets over the water help as well! Needs a better gym and pillows were an issue for me (too soft) but difficult to beat if all you want to do is relax by the pool with a big icy cocktail or enjoy the incredible range of cuisines available of breakfast.

Beautiful property and great staff

The Anvaya Beach Resort is a stunning property in Kuta. The breakfast which is included has an excellent selection of food. The bedrooms are beautifully appointed. No hair conditioner is provided so I recommend you bring some as you will need it. There are some nice touches in the bedrooms such as free mini bar which is updated daily. Also small desserts or biscuits are left every evening. The hotel is ideally situated on a beautiful beach walk. A brisk 10 minute walk will bring you to Discovery Mall. I found this very convenient as soon as I arrived as my combined watch and phone charger had broken during travelling and I was able to find a replacement at a reasonable price. Kuta isn’t a particularly nice area but the Anvaya Beach Resort location is lovely. I used Klook to take day trips to Ubud and all it has to offer. There is much more to do and see in Ubud but if you like a property on the beach then I recommend Anvaya.

The service was great and very friendly. However the property by the beach was dirty. Gave me a Mexico beach vibe with everyone trying to sell you something. The hotel room was a beachfront villa w a private pool. The bathroom bathtub water twickled out very slowly with lack of water pressure also, the water was not hot. It was like warm at the best. I called the desk however maintenance never showed up. Other than that the hotel was pretty especially at night with the lighting but I would not recommend staying here.

Awesome! Stayed 5 nights. Service was great, we felt safe and it was easily accessible to go to other areas. Highly recommend!

Best ever!

Lovely hotel in a quieter area of Kuta staff were friendly and welcoming and room was great comfortable bed. Check in time is 3 pm our rooms were not ready until 4.30 4 rooms none ready simply not good enough! We had told them we would arrive around 2 so should have been ready. Wifi was poor dropping out constantly. Disappointing hotel and staff lovely but poor wifi and is a big negative and waiting on room after an early morning and delayed flight poor.

The staff were excellent and so friendly, and facilities excellent.

Just had 14 wonderful nights in a premier room. What a fantastic resort. The service is outstanding. Everyone is made to feel special. The room whilst not overly large was still very nice and comfortable. Massive bed. Breakfast a lot of options and yummy. Pool area, very clean, pool staff very attentive and friendly. This is my second stay at this resort and I will be back.

Had an amazing stay at Anvaya. Loved the location, and sunset dinners. Staff were very warm and friendly. Spa treatment was lovely.

The property is very nice and great service. We had breakfast at the hotel and the food was fresh and delicious. The room is nice and clean. I took one star out because the check in was frustrating. The lady at the check in desk said I reserved a king size bed, which is not true. I pulled up my Expedia record, it shows that I asked for twin beds since I was traveling with a friend. I even sent the resort a note that it needs to be twin bed and I had a reply from them on record. I wish she was more upfront and honest. At first she told me they don’t have twin bed anymore and then I showed all my records she then get me a manager and got me a twin bed room. I don’t like people do business like this with me.

Our first time staying in Kuta, and this resort was conveniently located, with good beach access, and many dining options within walking distance. It's a smaller resort than others we've stayed in, and although we didn't use the pool area, it was on the smaller side. Breakfast options were excellent and the staff, as we have found in all the resorts in Bali, were excellent. The resort is clean and modern, but our room was on the smallish side and had a couple of maintenance issues. Overall, a positive experience!

We would rate the resort a 10 out of 10 for attentive staff , friendly and great facilities. The surrounding part of Kuta is a bit rundown, compared to Legian. Otherwise a beautiful resort.

Mostly fabulous but a couple of niggles

Fantastic hotel in great location. Breakfast buffet was extensive! One of the best we have ever seen. Beautiful room and great pools, luxurious ambience all round. Two detractors - aqua aerobics class happening in pool around 10:00 was loud with whooping and hollering and music to go with it, so you couldn’t get any peace for 40 mins if you happened to be in a room nearby. Also the gym had no sanitiser/cleaner or paper towels for the machines. No way to clean up after someone else sweats all over equipment. That is pretty unheard of in this day and age, especially after Covid pandemic and with it still circulating. I gave that feedback to someone and they promised to pass it on so hopefully they will fix that.

Loved the grounds and hospitality of this resort! They should reflective tint the room windows so they are more private (especially those on the ground floor adjacent to the path), but the facility is impeccably maintained, comfortable, and absolutely stunning. The staff is wonderful, friendly and accommodating . We highly recommend and will definitely return. Very pleased!

Absolutely loved this resort. I stayed for 8 nights for a relaxing getaway to Bali and that's what I had. The staff were so attentive, friendly and always welcoming. The breakfast buffet is huge with so many tasty options from international cuisine. The pool is amazing, and it was a pleasure to meet and chat to fellow hotel guests (mostly by the pool). I recommend and will stay again.

Check-in took ages. Was initially given a room next to some loud machinery (like a central aircon) and a balcony that faced a wall. When we requested to change room, the staff was reluctant. Cleaning service was not done by the time we returned at 4pm. Beach was tiny and rocky. Despite variety at breakfast food quality was terrible. Overall poor value.

hotel atmosphere, pool and the layout was beauty natural, we check-in at 3.15 pm, but the room still not ready, however the FO ladies escort us to lounge for a simple afternoon tea which is nice love it. Even though a bit surprised that deluxe room is really far from the main pool, but is near the resto for breakfast, The bathroom amenities is full equipped, nice for the free minibar even though only soft drink. need improve for the staff, the guy handling coffee during breakfast, (Cause I did not finish my coffee, but i need to go to my room cause my kids asking, but when i ask to him if there's any paper cup so that i can finish the coffee, but his answer is "NO- NO Takeaway for Breakfast" with the answer is very rude, not friendly, i mean dude you can just simply say that we don't have paper cup, or just simply said that you can bring the cup to your room mam. I did this in another hotels but they're flexible and never get this treatment in any.

Beautiful resort. The reason I have it only 3 stars was for the lack of help when we wanted to extend 1 day. We had an 11:00 pm flight and we wanted to extend our room so we could relax and shower before our trip. We checked with the front desk 3 times and they said they were completely booked. After the 3rd time I got on Hotels.com and booked a room. Very frustrating but pleased with Hotels.comWe were supposed to check out of our room at 11:00 am. We still had to check out and move to a new room. They did not move us from our original room to new room until around 3:30 pm.

Slow check in. Breakfast was ok but seemed to cater more for other nationalities. Place needs a return as looking very tired.

This resort was the fanciest out of the three we stayed at during our trip in Bali. It was so clean and the AC in the room was amazing. There are restaurants and malls within walking distance so you have options on what to do and where to eat. The beach was clean most of the time. We only saw some plastic on it once. There are various activities hosted by the resort staff throughout the day: yoga, bike tour, hat making, etc. We did yoga for an hour in the morning and that was great (and humbling). The yoga instructor was knowledgeable and helpful. Overall it was an amazing and very relaxing experience. Definitely recommend.

I loved the convenience of my room location and especially loved the lagoon attached to my pool. Although the area near the main pool where my room was located, there was little noise and the common areas were peaceful!

The Anvaya is AMAZING. Best hotel have been to in Bali! Everything was first rate from the superb breakfast, the wonderful hotel gardens, the location and the attentive staff! We will definitely come back! Our daughter felt spoilt to spend her birthday here and was amazed when I had her room decorated with HAPPY BIRTHDAY. we thoroughly recommend anyone celebrating at the Anvaya!

The Anvaya is the best 5 star Bali resort we have stayed at. Very comfortable beds and amazing pillows ensured our comfort during our stay. There’s a soft drink mini bar which is replenished daily never had that at any other 5 star hotels. . Breakfast was amazing, so many choices meeting every possible nationality who are lucky to stay there. I have a food allergy which was known by all staff, I felt very safe as my breakfast was prepared by the chef which ensured my peace of mind. Amazing staff from checking in to our departure too many to mention by name. Pool areas yes there’s a choice of four, have plenty of loungers in shade and sun depending on preferences. Really enjoyed the frozen treats and mock tails which we were greeted with during the afternoon. Enjoyed relaxing watching amazing sunsets overlooking the shoreline most nights Lots of great eating places close by or resorts menu also very good. Site photos tells it all and provided us with the confidence to book our trip. Already planning our stay which may be hard as our preferred dates for 2025 are already booked out. Negatively there seemed to be more smoking areas around all pool/outdoor areas. As we are non smokers this made it hard to find somewhere in the shade/when sitting outside. After chatting to the pool manager an area was quickly arranged by ashtrays being removed for the duration of our trip. At night lighting is amazing but where steps are it’s potential hazard if anyone has sight issues.

This hotel is absolutely stunning, right by the beach and with a beautiful pool. The Sands restaurant had a great varied menu and everything I tried was amazing for both lunch and in their included breakfast buffet. Most of the staff I encountered we’re also super friendly. I would say my only complaint was some of the drinks weren’t to my liking and when we tried raising our concerns to a manager, Eka Santika - he was very rude in letting us know we would still have to pay and consume the drink and their was nothing he would be able to do to accommodate us. He then proceeded to make us feel extremely uncomfortable by standing around watching us at our table until we finally decided to get up and leave (this went on for about 25-30 min). When we finally did get up, he went to where we were sitting and we saw him taking pictures of our empty cups. It was very strange, weird, & uncomfortable. I’ve had plenty of experience in the hospitality/restaurant industry and that was the first time I’ve seen a manager not work to accommodate and make the guests happy and then proceed to make the situation worse. Given that we spent a good amount of money to be here that would’ve been a nice consideration. Aside from this experience, I would certainly recommend the hotel.

Fabulous resort in the middle of chaos. If you’re staying in Kuta. The resort is spotless and grand. The most polite and helpful staff. Stayed at this resort and went on day trips all around Bali. Very convenient to airport and access to everything.

Can't recommend it enough

The hotel had an upmarket quality appearance and offered excellent services including checkout lounge facilities prior to late departure, staff very attentive and helpful, a varied selection of food for breakfast buffet and pleasant dining location, several pools accessible to rooms, short walk along beachfront to local shopping centre avoiding the bustle of the street, short taxi ride to Legian beachfront activities.

Disgusting

This property is absolutely stunning. It has security and a professionally trained staff. The breakfast is like no other, I have never seen a buffet this big and with this many offerings. Your wish is their command. 24hr room service and 5 swimming pools. Lots of shopping and restaurants right outside your door. Also, the atm that is right outside gives you a better deal on rupiahs. By far, one of the best hotels that I have stayed in.

It’s a beautiful resort very clean in the quiet end of Kuta with very professional staff, but it’s a huge resort so a bit less intimate. We only staid one night, the pool was way too much chlorinated which gave my son allergies so we couldn’t swim there during our stay compare to any other pools in other resorts we staid in Bali, and despite a great Indonesian restaurant we all got a belly bug after diner from eating there which we had no issue in Bali from the 12 previous days we were there.

Overall experience is great. Rooms are beautiful, modern with a touch of Balinese tradition. A but of renovation will be really good. The complex itself is greatly appointed and the pool area adds a lot to the amazing experience. Great combination of beach and pool. Buffett hreakfast and service are outstanding. The reception staff and housekeeping could do better. Concierge staff were very helpful. The are is very conveniet with close proximity to everything. I can highly reccomend this hotel and all it has to offer.

I have been staying at this hotel for the past 30 years - before it was called the Santika Beach Hotel. The staff are so friendly and welcoming and cannot do enough for you almost treating you like family!
