Only stayed one night but great spot!

Very relaxing resort,Nice clean room and close to Beach.

We enjoyed the hotel very much, we booked 3 nigths , and we extended 2 more nigths. Easy location, 6 mins walk from center, clean, super nice staff,quite pool area,super helpful. August 2023

We liked the location of the property, Staff were amazing. Tv reception was poor and selection of channels poor. Room was large bed very firm. Found 2 large cockroaches in room that was not pleasing. Found the pool area small and not many loungers available. We only were able to use that area once late in the day during our week there.

Good location. Friendly staff.Nice room.Easy walking distance to night life and shops. Would come again. Recommended.

Good stay

Clean quiet stay close to craziness and beach. Not a hotel for partying or visitors. Nice pool, clean rooms.

Good for the price but the AC does not stay on when you are out of the room. You come back to a hot room.

Our stay was overall good and the staff was nice and helpful. The only trouble we had was that we had to login to the WiFi every time we didn’t use it for a certain time.

Amazing location tucked slightly off of the main road. The hotel pool and overall ambiance was very nice. The breakfast was more than satisfactory for the price and I definitely appreciated the beach towel services at the front. However, the room itself could benefit from more lights as it was definitely dimly lit. Additionally, the shower head handle could easily be replaced with a swivel/adjustable one as the line of sight lines up with 6ft and not (5ft2). An amazing find that contributed to the hotel was the Thai Smile restaurant that was only a few steps away!

Patong fun trip

We had a upgraded room , right next to there great pool ! Easy to walk to many restaurants, and the beach is only 3 min walking . In the morning they serve a very good breakfast buffet. The staff were very friendly, I would love to stay again ..

Ok stay, nice pool

This place seems to be a bit on the older side. Only there one night, had a balcony view of the pool. Overall the room was clean but needed some work. We were happy with the stay for the price we paid and the service was good.

1. Receptionist were not friendly. 2. Location at end of beach road which is one way street (most restaurant and activities are located at begging-middle of beach road). It was inconvenient when we went out, we must go through the city around and back to beach...with terrible traffic 3. Pool have few sun beds, and some guests leave towels there at 7:30 on the morning for half day before they show up.. so was impossible to use the sun bed. 4. Nice pool but very deep and not suitable for family with kid. 5. Room was out-dated, broken shower head with no water pressure ( we were at 2 floor only). But at least it's quiet.

Decent hotel. A bit expensive for what it was. We weren't given the room I originally booked, and tried to give us a room with two single beds put together instead of a double. They hesitantly gave us another room after I asked. Location isn't great, a short, but not nice walk to the beach.

Great place for solo travelers. Clean and close to attractions. Definitely a good price as well I booked it the same day and was very happy.

Great location near patong beach and a short walk from.bangla rd. Hotel itself is nothing special, but a decent room to stay at for.a couple.of nights in Patong. Staff arent the friendliest of people

Nice small resort in Patong

Nice small resort. Near to Patong Beach. Easy access to restaurants, shops and entertainment center. Good public transportation. Breakfast choice is great. Overall stay experience is excellent. But the water pressure in the bathroom is low.

Lovely hotel

This hotel is walking distance to the beach and a little bit further walk from town. But it was perfect for my friend and I because it is quiet unlike the town. It also has a beautiful pool for when you can’t swim at the beach. The hotel staff was friendly making sure we knew where to go and how to get beach towel.

Room was clean but staff were not so friendly. Location not so close to the main street in patong street. 15 to 20 mins walking to restaurants and bars etc. We took taxi back and forth to the main street, expect extrat transportation cost

Nice quiet place.

Nice hotel in a quiet area. At night, it seemed the hot water would go away because the showers were kind of luke warm, but during the day they would be hot. It also seemed they were very aggressive about their "guest" policy. I booked the room for 2 people because I was staying with a friend who was not there when I checked in, but they were very strict about bringing people back and all of their "fines" for bringing people there. If you pay for a room for 2 people it really shouldn't matter, but they shouldn't be so rude and aggressive about who may stay with you at your hotel.

Great location

Hotel is worth the money. Breakfast was good, nice staff. Several things: not enough sunbeds near the pool and not so clean around the hotel.

Same same but different..

Great value for the money, the hotel was accurate to the advertising and the staff were friendly and accommodatiing. Only cons, shower is bad, Wi-Fi is OK depending which room you get and breakfast wasn't the best.. Most of the time the breakfast was cold. Not much variation and the choices were limited. Other than that, everything else was fine. Although I think I'll stay else where next time.

No WiFi in the room as advertised, very poor follow up. Will never come back there

Close to beach!

For the price we paid, we were really satisfied. the staff was very helpful and helped is easily setup an affordable very early morning airport trip. we asked about their laundry service and they were honest and said it would be a better deal to take to a nearby laundry service as the hotel's rates were high. we really appreciated the honesty. overall the hotel was clean and our only complaint was that it felt old. but for the price we paid and the location a short walk to a nice/less crowded part of Patong Beach, we left very satisfied.

We enjoyed staying at the hotel. They were very accommodating (we had a very very early morning flight, and they provided us with toasts and coffee/tea). I Would recommend the hotel to others. It is centrally located, quiet, clean, and reasonably priced.

good hotel near the sea

Room and hotel is very clean and tidy. staff is very helpful and kind. shower and bed is very comfort. breakfast is good, but the wifi is very poor in all the area room and reception. location is excellent near chabad house and the beach and 10 min walk from bangla rd.

Beware!

Service in this hotel is shocking! Made me wait 30 mins to 'find' my reservation after I had been travelling 18 hours and I had shown my confirmation email on my smartphone. Staff were rude, during the day there was building work all day for the 3 days I was there which was dusty and noisy, absolutely no wifi in the rooms. I would not recommend at all.

Great hotel

Great , clean away from noise . Patong is pretty vile but this was a haven away from it all . Fantastic pool and great staff - the hotel saved my holiday . Only gripe was having to pay silly money for wifi access .

Hôtel très bien placé vous avez pleins de commerces et restaurants juste à côté vous pouvez tout faire à pied c’est très pratique. Et la plage est à 2 min à pied ! Le personnel est très gentil

Este hotel es una estafa llamarlo de resort? Más bien no pasa de un aparthotel, de última categoría enserio, estuve 4 noches y acabo de salir y sigue la cucaracha en la escallera, el baño tenía abierto una ventana para la cocina y la tubería olía a caca, el Aire comdicionado jamais fue limpio casi me muero de la rinitis. Las paredes de la habitación con moho. Las chicas de la recepción son muy mal educadas, en fin no recomendó este hotel jamás… es más fue el peor hotel en 45 días de viaje

Die Zimmer waren ok. Wenig Platz für 3 Personen um Kleidung zu verstauen. Badezimmer ist schon sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Pool sah auf den Bildern besser aus.

Som helhet ett bra hotell i mellanklass.

Mycket bra mellanklasshotell med trevlig personal och bra service. Stora deluxerum med bra sängar och bra faciliteter. Frukosten har vissa brister som ingen bacon eller annat rökt pålägg. Kaffemaskinen är helt underdimentionerad. Bra och lugnt läge 150 m från stranden.

Perfect next to beach

Room was good but many mosquitoes since there are many plants inside hotel. But really friendly and nice pool Bit far from center but quiet and cozy place.

La réception très bien, seulement si on réserve pas à l’hôtel même on as pas la même chambre que si vous réserver sur un cite. Internet très mauvais. Bonne serviabilité du personnel. Lés draps de lit et les teilles ne sont pas changé régulièrement

great value for the money

Excellent location just near the Patong beach. Pool was clean, staff was hospitable and there was restaurant cafe on the premises. Various other restaurants, shops and services were on the same street. Only complaint is that the wifi was a bit iffy on our room. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it did not. Overall i would recommend this place for your stay at Patong and offered great value for the money.

Hotellet var glimrende, med hyggelig personale. Flott beliggenhet i forhold til strand og restauranter. Frokost med lite utvalg ost, skinke etc. Restaurang ble ikke benyttet utover frokost da de ikke kunne selge ett glass vin til maten uten å måtte kjøpe 1 hel flaske, som eneste restaurant i hele Patong.

Very nice!

Very nice hotel! Good pool and nice and clean rooms. Our flight left late and the staff let us have our bags in the lobby and we got to use the pool and the shower. We also got to loan towels even though we had checked out.

Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit. Coffeeshop perfekt. Dusche in einzelnen Zimmern etwas schwach.

Discrimination and arrogance

Since 1992 I travel to Asia and always stay in Thailand for some weeks. The Thantip was the worst hotel I ever stayed in Thailand. When I booked the rooms for my friends and me via Hotel.com I forget to mention that my fiancé from Vietnam vill arrive half a day later for visiting me for 4 days. When I arrived I told the lady in the reception about that and she replied “500 bath extra per day”, when I asked her why ( we hade not booked breakfast, so I could not understand the extra coasts) , she loudly announced “ When you want Lady visitor you pay , hotel policy). I again explained that the lady visiting me is my fiancé but in the end I did not border to discus this issue. when my fiancé arrived a couple of hours later we hade the next problem with another unfriendly receptionist, she wanted to keep my fiancé’s Vietnam passport. I asked her why she not just take a copy like she did with mine, she told me for my own safety , man hade been robbed before! I of course went bananas and demanded the passport back. Later I understood that the hotel take the id from the girls which visiting guests for special treatment s. So even the hotel want to make money on prostitution instead of forbidding those kind of visits. And my fiancé get treated like a prostitut just because she is Asian. The rooms need to be renovated and the staff need for sure to learn how to be politely. For sure Thantrip will never see me again. WiFi sucks!
