Brilliant
Nice site
Nice site, and caravan, clean and tidy. The only downside, the doubke bed in the caravan very uncomfortable, mattress covered in plastic coating so made it very warm and far too soft, didnt sleep well during the stay.
Basic but great location
Great location with a view and as quiet only let down by the worn caravan that really needs a proper deep clean. Mattress was surprisingly good and with the sea air and quiet park led to a good nights sleep. Less than 2 miles from Looe for great food ( avoid Deanos )
Lovely quiet and relaxed. Caravan starting to show age. Comfortable.
Pleasant weekend
Had a lovely time. Didn’t spend much time in the accommodation. Reception staff were amazing, bar staff maybe need more customer service training. But overall I would recommend.
The Caravan was spotless. Everything you needed was there. 10/10 for the cleaning staff
This was the worst place. Very small nothing provided like other accomm. Had to provide own towels, toilet paper, tea, coffee, toiletries. For the money we paid for this place, those things should be given. Ay least we could have been warned to bring our own in advance. Very disappointing and overpriced
Pleasant Stay close to Looe
Stayed in a Swift caravan which was spacious comfortable and clean, made the stay very pleasant. Reception staff very friendly and helpful made sure we were happy with accommodation. Lovely pool, camp site overall very good.

Nice
Nice area
4 night break
Overall enjoyed everything, it was a much needed break for us. One thing to let you know about is that the holiday park said they do not supply towels. We did not bring any towels with us as it said in the Hotel.com documentation that towels and bedding were included. The staff at Tencreek were not particularly happy, however they did supply the towels FOC and said they would contact Hotels.com
A wonderful place for families with children, and very clean.
Overall decent but not as expected.
Overall a quiet location and a decent accommodation. Some of the appliances are partially working. No user manuals provided on how to operate.
Waste of money
Total waste of money and ruined a rare opportunity to enjoy a weekend away with the children. We booked for my birthday weekend with our 2 children who were excited for the pool and the kids club. 2 days before we were due to go we get an email to say the pool was going to be closed so we were unable to use it which was hugely disappointing as we bookes mainly for the pool. Then the day before we were due to go we get an email to say they had a beer festival on in the clubhouse and to gain entry to the clubhouse we would have had to pay £64 for tickets just to go in there, even if it was to use the restaurant. And again we booked because we had planned on using the clubhouse with the kids, the website advertises the holiday park with a pool and included entertainment which is what we had based the holiday on. I called up to cancel as it was pointless as nothing we had paid for was going to be available only for them to completly and rudly shut us down, didnt understand our dissappintment at all. We didnt even go as the children were so upset that their holiday didnt have a pool or a kids club anymore, waste of money.
It was good stay overall but there was pet hairs all over the property which I didn't like
Good
Caravan was clean. Good location for walking SWCP.
Beware of extra charges
The price stated by Hotels.com is incorrect according the to holiday park. I specifically a dog friendly caravan, that’s way it was advertised as. Yet when you arrive the want to charge a load more money for the dogs! Very misleading
Second time back, very friendly and welcoming staff. Struggled with online registrations Quiet and relaxing stay with lively views. Caravan was very clean. Would return
Accomodation
The matress was VERY uncomfortable and the food at lunch time was awful… ordered toasties and they came out cold. The cheese on the inside hadn’t even been cooked and the chips were raw
Birthday party .
We had a lovely weekend catching up with friends and my friends mother's 90th birthday.weather wasn't great,we made the best of it, unfortunately didn't get to see the sea view too wet and cloudy.we went prepared with board games having family fun.caravan was good, everything in working order cosy and warm.we have stayed here before ,it's a lovely campsite, plenty of walks when the weather is good, also not too far to walk into Looe along the coastal path.
bedding was delivered dirty but swapped out for clean the accommodation was damaged doors broken and holes in the walls fire in the lounge wouldnt work so very cold
Happy family.
Our first stay in static caravans and it ticked all the boxes. Everything to hand, great location for South coast part and extra bonus indoor swimming pool included in the price.
Very disappointing
It is not very clear that you won't be supplied with basics like soap and towels or toilet paper. Once I realised you have to buy them separately for the pointlessly low price of £1.99 I presumed you get them from the shop, which was shut at 5pm. It turned out, when I went the next day, that you buy the pack of essentials from reception. Why not tell me that on arrival so I could buy the pack immediately? The toilet leaked and a heater didn't work. These both got fixed on the second day. Enough bedding for all the beds wasn't provided. I think they provide for the number of guests so it is tricky to use more than one pillow or change bed if your mattress is backbreakingly uncomfortable (which it is). Our caravan ran out of water on the second day even though no one had taken a shower and we weren't able to do any washing up because they don't give you washing up liquid. So we were basically there with no water, a broken toilet and heater, no soap, no towels, no washing up liquid or enough bedding. I don't mind camping but why not advertise it as such when you book the largest most expensive caravan you offer? No entertainment either so we spent the night in our caravan with a broken heater. Just a bit of a joke really. Why not up the price by a couple of quid and provide a few basics? Or be clearer about it? Not impressed. It was our Christmas holiday.
The site is very nice. When we booked we booked because of the pool. However and we didn't find it till the day before the times were pretty limited due to being out of season. Has we known before we might have chosen other dates. But overall was not too bad. Was cheap and warm until last night when heading stopped. Mattresses were old and springs could be felt. And sure it's nicer when in season. Club house was closed so no breakfast was available on site. We didn't find it till we got there. Perhaps some information about the seasonality would help others. Internet also failed first night so paid for 12 hours we didn't use. We would come back though
Nice park. Caravan a bit small but perfect for just a weekend trip. Staff friendly and happy to help.
2 night stay
The property description said bath towels were provided. They were not. Not great when you are hiking around the coast and need a shower. Upon checking in, there was a lady who was clearly upset with her accommodation not meeting the criteria or her expectations. The staff didn't seem bothered and no effort was made to console her.
Nothing to dislike everything very good
We had a good short stay .We didnt use any of the facilities so cannot review
Used as base only - not good enough for anything rlse
Was pleasantly surprised, lovely experience
This was a last minute, couple of days getaway during a house renovation. We frequently stay at caravan parks, but not in Cornwall however after taking the kids camping last year there they loved Eden and this seemed very affordable. I'd read the negative reviews and had very low expectations, however these were unfounded. The park itself is very clean, the staff are almost overtly nice and polite and friendly. I had one small issue in caravan (no hot water) and no joke maintenance were at the door within the minute. The caravan was actually lovely we had the plus model, very clean, all the mod cons, nice location. My only criticism is the beds were dire, the mattresses so worn out that it was very uncomfortable, which is a real shame as so easily rectified and would have made it a 5 star. The bar / entertainment was great, we even got involved with the bingo, never done that before. Big prizes and even a kids round (which my son actually won). Looe is lovely, at first you think this is surely too small to find enough to do but it just goes on and on. Great pasties, great seafood and the crabbing great fun. We'd absolutely return, possibly for longer but I think we'd have to consider the bed situation.
Cleanliness
The stay was alright. It was also pretty clean but I would say that the mattresses weren't the cleanest. I could not sleep at night due to a constant smell coming from the mattresses. There were also some stains on them which were not pleasing to look at.
family break
Short break at the end of summer holidays, overall good, just had to ask for correct bedding, only sheets provided, but this was sorted out quickly, so good experience overall
Ok for short breaks
Nice place for familys in good weather but have to use car for shopping or outings good caravans nice bar .
The caravan was clean. You need to pay extra for toiletries. The Sofa bed was horrible. It kept going down the moment you put your head on it. Wi-Fi- horrible. Kept on going off. We had to try switching off several times. If you’re not booking directly make sure you’re booked for the whole stay. We were asked to vacate one day early as it was not communicated properly from Expedia it seems. Anyway the location is beautiful with amenities ( you may better check whether you have to pay for it). I think not many providers will give 4G networks
UNSAFE!!!!
Bed was mouldy, broken fixtures, Stained furniture, Broken toilet leaking water and carbon monoxide alarms not working. Now refusing to give our money back. Left within 24hrs of arrival due to how disgusting it was. I do have videos of the toilets and alarms not working also.
Overall quiet location and nice stay
The place was cozy, nice and pretty comfortable. Good location as well. Quick check in. Their local shop is conveniently located to buy the basic items ie toilet rolls, hand wash etc which is not provided. A suggestion that cleaning should be looked at before letting someone in.
Heating never worked, sofa beds mattress was old and full with stains. Staf was so helpful. There were no towels, soaps, any toiletries. Nothing to make a cup of tea. There were not even toilet paper in the bathroom. Kids were so tired and we had to do the shopping for essential items. I have never been so disappointed with the facility. It was clean and tidy. Laundry was available but had to pay. Even ironing was not free. Ridiculous. Outdoor play areas were fantastic. Pool was great. My son wanted safety floats they didn’t have enough. The lady on the reception team in the pool was rude to kids. Check in and check out was fantastic no problem at all. The receptionist lady was welcome. No Halal food around here. Plz bring your food with you.
Dated with areas of damage. Toilet seat was on the floor when we arrived but was fixed very quickly. Kitchen and bathroom was clean but seating area smelt of wet dog when we arrived and didn’t look clean. This may have been a pet caravan. Toilet roll and hand soap not included!
Property was clean and well maintained. Bar / dining was good value, fun entertainment and enjoyable. Our only annoyance was we was staying one night as a stop over on a walking break and the caravan had no towels, soap, shower gel or even toilet paper!
Caravan was clean but was worn in places. Mattress on double bed was very uncomfortable and again worn but this was swapped immediately once reported. Location of the park was great and well maintained. Staff friendly and accommodating.
Coming from the USA and not knowing we needed to supply the bare essentials such as toilet paper, dish soap etc.
Stayed in a caravan directly behind the shop/reception block. Everything was fine apart from the double bed in the main bedroom which was very unstable. If you sat on the end of the bed the pillows bounced up in the air as if the bed was going to fold in half. The legs were under various states of reinforcement and every time you turned over in bed the creaking noises were very loud. Not suitable for a romantic break! Laundry room appeared to be under maintenance with only one washing machine out of three or four working. Other than that we throughly enjoyed our visit and would definitely come again.
Tencreek was a lovely holiday park, we only stayed 2 nights but it was great, went swimming and to the nightclub, the staff were brilliant and very helpful, would recommend ❤️
Cheap and cheerful with lots of sacrifices
Cheap and cheerful… done plenty of that over the years , but this standard of caravan was a little hard to stomach, plastic mattresses , smell of years old mould, limited cooking utensils
Made to feel very welcome
Fantastic site x kirsty on reception went above and beyond with her helpfulness
Lovely first experince
Lovely stay and experience. Clean cabin but a little dated.
Second two night stay in two weeks. Accommodation not cleaned to a good standard. Bread crumbs on floors, rubbish under single divan bed, no toilet roll and no plug in kitchen sink
Enjoyed the whole experience , going again next week, once I get it booked. Hopefully fir a little longer.
It was good experience
It was close to the beach however it was a walk to a rocky beach, the property itself didnt have a workng oven for the first night
Lovely location, reception staff gave us a warm and friendly welcome, caravan extremely clean and in good order. Club house excellent
No entertainment!
Darts tournament which we weren't aware of as we booked through Hotels.com, this meant that there was no entertainment and also meant a lot of drunk people walking around the site. Had to ask our 'neighbours' to keep it down when I couldn't take it any longer at 4am!! No children's entertainment as apparently the season was closed, but there is nothing on their website about this! Pool was lovely as we got there early and there was nobody. Food was nice but quite pricey. Caravan was ok but could use a deep clean. Was told no pets allowed and I was happy to pay extra to brign dog yet the Welcome folder in the caravan said that dogs are allowed in that caravan! Overall quite disappointing.
Really enjoyed our stay, caravan was clean and had everything we needed. Short drive into lovely little villages. Would stay again.
Tencreek holiday park, Looe
Friendly staff, large clean site, with safe children's play area. Fairly new & well equipped units. Only minor niggle involved the site wide internet which was charged as an additional cost, but was patchy at best.
Tired caravan- 4 lights that needed replacing, mattress & pillows were dreadful
Highly recommend!!
I really recommend this holiday park, very clean, lovely food and great entertainment for kids. I went with my partner and overall we used it as a base to see the whole of Cornwall it was the perfect location, our view from the caravan was really beautiful. The food in the club was much better then expected! If you fancy a trip to Cornwall I’d recommend staying here, I will be back! Thank you for making my trip so welcoming.
Unfortunate
Unfortunately when we checked out the caravan we found it to be not very clean. The fridge had spilt milk inside all over the shelf, some cooking pans were dirty. The carpet had not been hoovered and we were short of a duvet and two pillowcases.
Bed Bugs
bed bugs is all I can say I would have thought they would have been ready for the this busy months by treating all their caravans properly. 2 Sleepless nights and lots of money for this caravan and on bite creams spend. Avoid this at any cost lesson learned never will book caravan again. When reported this they said thank you for informing we will ask housekeeping to look into it.
Weekend stay
It was very a nice place and pretty clean. We only stayed one night as we booked it last minute but I would return with kids maybe for a full week. It’s a bit of a walk or drive to the nearest beach but overall I recommend.
Caravan was clean, had everything we needed. Beautiful views and lots on site. It would have been nice to have had call or tect if property was available before 4
Excellent
Worm welcome at the reception Very. friendly staff very helpful lovely place to stay for family ,
Beautiful location, friendly staff and spacious Accomodation.
Caravan was dirty, smelt horrible, mattresses were stained sofa cushions were damp not worth the money !!
Excellent Holiday Park
A Excellent holiday park at a very good price and Pet Friendly will definitely stay there again when I visit Cornwall Again
Short stay.
Static van was basic but very clean, the sofa cushions were not very comfy, the sea view was lovely. The holiday park was very quiet during the evenings. I didn’t use the restaurant but the shop was handy. If your feeling fit the coastal walk has some amazing views. Overall very good and I would stay again.
Really nice back again...
the caravan was a bit small and tired, nowhere near the sea we did find the beach eventually after a 20 minute walk, the light in the main bedroom was broken, the shelf in the bathroom hadn't been fixed, I booked this on the pretense of WiFi on site but the only WiFi was in the bar area, when the maintenance man came round to fix the shelf I asked how many on the team he said only him, wow, when we went to the bar area lots of people outside smoking and fairly drunk, not a nice place for kids to be around, my son said he didn't like people outside tipsy, I'd never stay again to be honest, I went to see family but was disappointed by the site
Tencreek was easy to find and the desk staff were kind and helpful. However the caravan left a lot to be desired. First impression was that if felt and smelt stale. The furnishing was old and shabby. The gas fire did not work on the first evening so it was very cold but this was soon remedied next morning by a helpful maintenance man. The gas cooker rings were not very effective and the shower head did not "stand up". The linen provided was very fresh and clean however.
Absolutely horrific stay...NEVER AGAIN!!
The accommodation is'nt true to any of the images. On arrival the reception area was closed, we needed to check in at the bar (9pm). The staff were very friendly however while waiting, i noticed i was standing a human blood. I was given my caravan key and directions which were clear and very straight forward, however on arrive the caravan door was open and when I looked inside it was horrific; dirty, smelly and small, nothing like the images seen online. I asked to move caravan as i could cope with the smell and the room that would have been for 2 children was jammed and wouldn’t open. After waiting 40 minutes, we were taken to a new caravan, which was cleaner but had no clean sheets and the twin room was more like a double bed inside a box, with only a 15 cm gap between them...no small table as shown in images. One of the beds were also broken, which wss replaced 30 minutes later. The staff couldnt have been more apologetic and embarrassed. They tried there best to do whatever they couldn't, as we had 2 small children who were extremely tired and upset (now 11.30pm) Unfortunately we had no option but to stay, as I couldnt find another hotel near the area that we could travel to before midnight (the latest checkin time I could find).
Lovely holiday
Lovely holiday with views out to sea. Entertainment on site was a hit with the kids and included in the stay. Pool was a bit chill but the kids still played for an hour, again included with the holiday.
Worst caravan I've ever been in.
The caravan wasn't cleaned at all by LeeLee even though she left a card saying she did. I had dirty feet after coming out the shower because the carpets were not clean and had debris on them. The sofa had lots of dirty stains on it. The dishes in the cupboards were dirty, hair was in the bathroom sink and every room had dead flies lay everywhere. The bed size was ok but we had to put 3 duvets on the mattress to even slightly get comfortable as the mattress was painful to lay on with springs digging in to us.
Lovely and peaceful site. Very clean caravan helpful staff and in a ideal pace to get to anywhere in Cornwall
There was no railing/banister to get up the steep 4 steps. When you have a 76 year old with you they like to hold on and not fear falling down. The beds weren’t made so needed to make 5 beds up on arrival. There was crumbs all over the worktops. The glasses, plates, and cutlery all needed washing as it was disgusting and dirty. There were even used Christmas crackers on the floor. You have to pay £5 to have internet for 24 hours, which is very unreliable anyway. The double bed is like sleeping on bricks. So uncomfortable that we didn’t sleep at all.
Please tell enough, although the website (not hotels.com) advertised daily activities and entertainment although there was nothing at all. Quite disappointing.
