Had an amazing experience. Worth every cent

Amazing location

Needs updating. Beautiful location

This place has a lot of potential. is located in a beautiful area, right on the beach and with a nice pool.. but is very out dated.. I found the pillows way to fat and foamy, the sheets were clean but very old.. the furniture was old and falling apart. There is no safe in the room. You are very far from the main area, however it is nice to be in a quiet area too. You 100% want a moped to get around or have to use taxi or Grab app. The bathroom could use some towel racks. No hand towels provided, only 2 shower towels. The door has a huge crack underneath where bugs can crawl through, which they will, especially after a good rain fall.. I found lots on aunts in my room 1 night where i killed over 30 and flushed them down the toilet. Its not great for a solo traveler, but maybe a couple. You get what you pay for here. It is very affordable, however some updates would make your stay a lot more comfortable. Outside the rooms it is very nice, but even the pool furniture/chairs could use a little updating too. I dont know if id come back. I didnt hate it, but i didnt love it.

I absolutely adored this place! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, plus the motel is right on the beach with a swimming pool. There are fantastic local eateries nearby, though I suggest renting a scooter for convenience. And to top it off, I only paid £16 per night. It was such a fantastic experience that I ended up extending my stay. It's the ideal spot for sunbathing and unwinding.

This is more of a homestay but with more basic facilities tht u need such as strong wifi aircond fan n cable tv. The best feature is surely the secluded beautiful beach which are not crowded at all making it feels like a private beach. Really a hidden gem

Honest and fair review

The location was equisite for beautiful views and the staff were super friendly. The bed was really comfy too and so was the quality of bed, pillows and sheets. Theres no hairdryer as standard but you can get one from reception. No shampoo either just a bar of soap. On Fridays theres a big night market full or food and things to buy really close to the hotel around 10 minute walk. Again the heat i just get a taxi back for less than £1. Now the negatives but just being honest. There were some ants walking about the place but the friendly gecko came to do his best to clean them up. Didnt bother me but can imagine it might others. The beach isnt thin sand some walking barefoots a bit painful and if its high tide you cant get on the beach to walk along to tanjung rhu beach and where the main food places are. Theres also the place where the river meets the ocean dividing you from getting to the other beach but again during low tide you can walk through the water at ankle level. Other downsides is its not near anything so unless youre happy walking in the heat 20 mins to the nearest place be prepared to take taxis everywhere. Thankfully they're cheap and you can get a taxi for about £1 a trip to nearby areas. To get to Kuah or Cenang areas it's about £7-8 so not bank busting just make sure to download Grab and dont use the red cabs as they change about a 3rd more per trip. Overall 6/10 as the view is breathtaking and staff were super helpful.

This place is value for money. The staff are friendly and the beach is on their doorstep. Tanjung Rhu beach is a mere 15 minute walk along the beach. The down side is that the Motel is isolated and does not serve meals. This means a good 20 minute walk to the nearest shop. Local shops were not well stocked. With hindsight, I would have brought a few goodies along. The free hot and cold water is a big plus. There is a kitchen, but we did not come prepared. Highly recommend this place.

Great value with lovely views. Not much around so need transportation. Friendly staff and basic, but clean rooms, what more do you need?

Good but not good

The staff was so nice it’s hard to be honest. They did their best with little to work with. Our room was crawling with ants. It was disgusting. The area was quite secluded and the beach was not close enough to call this beachfront as the ocean in front of the hotel was down a steep embankment and not swimmable. To be fair, we were quite ill and might have been a little tougher to handle this place if fully healthy.

Seafront at a very low price

Great property. It’s simple but got all you need. Great for exploring the island. You need a car.

Quiet

If you are content with a clean room in a quiet area and a view, this is where to go. Breakfast to be taken somewhere else. But distances at Langkawi are manageable.

Quiet, cheap, nice...

Really nice and cheap. The place is very quiet with a nice view of the sea. Hotel facilities are very basic but enough as I used it only for sleeping. Rooms are clean and offers airCon, TV, king size bed, bathroom with hot water, wifi. The little town near by (10min walking) offers everything you need in term of food market / restaurants. Of course these are local restaurants. If you don't have any transportation, they propose you to rent some of their scooter. Around you have a lot tout operators possibilities, the hotel has some links with, and the beautiful beach of tanjung rhu is just at 5km. Use your thumb ;)

Cheap on the water edge

We booked a family room and got a double. Getting into the bathroom we had to squeeze past the end of the bed throug a 30cm gap. Staff were nice. People can camp there. Loads of hammocks, you can fish with owner and BBQ with owners helping out. Shared kitchen hut was a great place to hangout. Very nice travellers from all over stayed there. No beach but it's at the edge of the water. Loads of birds to watch. Monkeys and cats visit the kitchen so it smells of cats. Short walk from beautiful beach with public access. Four seasons staff stop people going too close to their hotel. Call to prayer can be heard. Area is quiet and many beaches are empty. Waters clean. You need a car or bike. One restaurant in beach five minute walk after a jump down a rocky sea defence. Not a kid friendly place due to wall and deep drop to sea defence rocks. Very cool for low budget travellers.

Perfect to relax

Absolutely stunning view (as good as the other much more expensive resorts around it), hammocks, long chairs, access to a beach... everything you need to relax! They also give you access to a kitchen and bbq, which is a godsend if you stay more than a few days or you're travelling in a group. Very nice people. Clean rooms with good AC and wifi. Excellent place to RELAX at an affordable price! Only thing is that it's far away from the touristy parts of the island so you need to rent a scooter to get there (available at the hotel).
