Friendly staff, good breakfast but facilities are tired and showing signs of age.
very nice hotel
very well maintained hotel with spacious and comfortable rooms. the restaurants were good and the bar had nice hot and cold drinks options. the staff were always smiling, and very nice and helpful, especially Jennifer. the hotel is conveniently also located close to the university and hospital, so it can be ideal if you have frequent trips there, although it can be quite expensive.
Lovely rooms, immaculate and fabulous service and facilities - pool was lovely too
Very helpful all staff members
Like: Room Comfort Gym Dislike: No milk for tea and only one english breakfast tea bag at start then had to keep asking Pool/spa - would be great if open even an extra hour Breakfast very expensive
Big room and great breakfast
Great hotel- very clean and staff is open and friendly. Room was big and breakfast excellent!
The hotel is always great. We love to go there and will for sure go back. The spa area and the gym are perfect. The breakfast just perfect.
Tangla
Gorgeous hotel Great staff Unfortunately the pool was not heated
the only downfall of this hotel is the lack of communication. on the bedroom tv it states last orders for restaurant is at 9.50pm. we arrived at the chinese restaurant on the ground floor and the waitress working there said kitchen closes at 9.30pm, incredibly frustrating. at one point i couldn't access my bedroom because my access card stopped working, had to travel to reception a few times to get them to sort the issue out
Nothing unique but was a lovely place to stay
Room and facilities very comfortable and in good condition
High quality service and food
The service and food are both of high quality.
The staff were excellent here and the hotel was good value for the high star rating for the property. There however were a few issues. The shower floor was always overflowing outside onto the carpet after a short shower. The sauna was out of order for our entire stay. The spa was also not in operation for the duration of the trip. The hotel was perhaps a bit out of the way of the main attraction in Brussels.
Good but no sauna available so waste of a stay
The cleaner we had (black guy, forgot his name), he's amazing. He's gone over and beyond to make our stay a comfortable stay and ppl on my floor said the same thing. He deserves a raise 👍 However no sauna available for whole trip, it's ridiculous, I paid for sauna use and got nothing.
Brilliant but no sauna
Everything was perfect except the sauna was out of service, we specifically picked this hotel for the sauna and the whole week, no sauna, so I don't know why I bothered. But the staff are amazing, cleaning staff were awesome, and it was a nice stay!
Shocking!
Totally honest review. We waited for 2 hours on a 3pm check in on a Sunday when we’d booked an executive suite for four days, can you even believe this?? Upon arriving at the hotel, we were told that our room is not ready to go and have a free drink in the restaurant. We were not allowed Champayne. Complained and they finally gave it to us. Finally got the key at 5 pm so waited an extra two hours. Bearing in mind my partner had surgery the next day at 5 am. The duty manager is an absolute disgrace! He came down, looking scruffy in jumper, jeans and trainers we could not believe it. He didn’t have a care in the world on his phone, avoiding the situation. My girlfriend saw him in the corridor out the way, when we were complaining on the phone. When I approached him, he did not shake my hand. He just looked at me. Confused didn’t offer any complimentary dinner or anything like that as a sorry. Really really bad management some of the staff were friendly and some are not friendly at all. This is not five star I class it is three star. The food is very average a lot of the dishes are bland. They tried to charge me €8 for an empty cup totally ridiculous. I had no clean cups in the room and asked for one and they tried to charge me €8 tray charge for an empty cup! What sort of hotel are you actually running? That is meant to be five star and doing this? this is not five star service. The whole hotel needs to be sorted out staff wise as they literally don’t seem to a clue!
Great property with excellent breakfast at a reasonable price. Parking was easy and free of charge.
I was disappointed that I was not provided a free room upgrade when requested (two suites were available). The staff said that they cannot upgrade gueses when the standard rooms are fully booked.
Nice property, located close to a university and a new development site, the place it self very nice and well looked after, there is a catch though, you have to pay a 100 euro deposit for a night depending on how long you stay, but apart from that it’s a nice place to stay.
This was just a stay for an overnight layover so it was just basically a place to sleep.
Receptionists we’re very untrained and not able to answer basic questions. Promised airport transfer was not available so I had to buy a taxi for 25€. The restaurant is overpriced for the quality of food you’re getting. I ordered t bone medium rare and received a fully grilled shoe sole. Rome is fine.
Great place
Special days
I had such a lovely relaxing moment ,the services was excellent all the receptionist were amazing ,polite and helpful
Very good hotel
little far from center
Outstanding about everything
Fully Reccomended
Very Impressed with the Lovely hotel. Have stayed in lots of Hotels On business around the world and this was top. Bar closed a bit early
All good
Nicest shower I’ve ever been in. Whoever did the construction of this hotel is top notch. Every High end update was installed perfectly.
Please don't stay at this hotel! They advertise that they provide air conditioning but to save themselves money they don't turn it on. As they didn't provide what I paid for then some compensation would seem appropriate; but was refused by the hotel. So basically you pay for something you don't get and the hotel keeps the money.
An oddly placed property that worked well for our visit to WSL. The layout of the hotel is strange with numerous hallways that don't connect .... we seemed to constantly be transiting through the bar lobby. The weirdest thing is that they have a very large swimming pool but NO TOWELS provided. We found we had to go to the front check-in desk to pick up towels. (No sign was displayed in the pool area no staff member told us about the towel pick-up when we asked about pool hours). Our room was spacious but towels were not fully replaced. Our worst experience was a total LOSS OF POWER on FRIDAY afternoon/evening. We were going out and did not have power for the hair dryer. NO APOLOGY whatsoever from the staff. When we checked out and they asked how our stay was, we mentioned the Friday night disaster and their response was "some construction was going on". At $300 /night we expected some apology and/or reduction on the bill. The breakfast was a bit disappointing no fresh eggs were available. When the one an donly coffee machine stoppped (on 2 different mornings), the staff seemed at a loss as to how to resolve it ... the manager came simply emptied the lower bin. Staff training could definitely be improved. Unless you need to be in WSL, I would stay elsewhere.
Clean and quiet. Would stay again
Excellent hotel
Outstanding..the place to be…next time in Brussels, we will be there
Rude receptionist, take 300 euros for deposit, can’t trust such a hotel. Swimming shorts 45 euros, if you sit and use any paid amenities. They are expensive then a real 4 star hotel. This is not really a five start hotel.
I felt that it was too costly. The room was not large. Though it had adequate space, it was not comfortable. No options to eat in after 10pm. Considering that there are no options nearby, this is a terrible lack of foresight. An orange juice costs 6 euro for 125 or 150 ml. For what? No ambience. No music. No proper seating to eat. The price they charge versus the facilities they offer has a huge gap. 3 star facility at 5 star price.
They were awesome!
L'accueil était impeccable, le personnel souriant, toujours à l'écoute du client. Je recommande l'hôtel à tous ceux qui veulent se rendre à Bruxelles. Mes remerciements à tout le personnel
Fantastic
Hotel was fantastic, gym/pool/sauna was an added bonus. Would highly recommend this hotel.
Great hotel and location. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
The hotel is perfect for a relaxing time in Brussels, the area is very quite and pretty, rooms are big and clean staff were very friendly. It’s a bit fat from the city, but there is a subway station very close by
No Lunch, No Restaurant,
No lunch available and breakfast was below standard.
Very nice hotel, would stay again
Very nice hotel and lovely staff. Only complaint is that their heating system won’t go beyond 19/20 degrees celsius, which is not too comfortable for some of us - a couple of more degrees would be great.
Great hotel, great staff, quiet location
This was a family trip, which left us pleasantly surprised about the hotel. The only negative is the cost of parking at the hotel (25 Euro per day), while there is plenty of forecourt parking space, made available only for 15 minutes, and a lot of public parking within 2 minutes walk, at 8 Euro per day.
Great hotel in a quiet Brussels suburb
Excellent hotel, great breakfast, welcoming and professional staff. Only negative: Parking is expensive at 25 Euro per day.
Great hotel
Great room and, stay
The cleaning materials used for the bathroom area in the hotel room were very acrid and made me cough. The lighting system in the room is complicated and fiddly. Apart from these two points, the hotel was comfortable and the staff were efficient. The hotel is a ten minute walk from the nearest subway station.
Very nice and friendly staff, comfortable rooms with modern amenities.
Remarkable staff. Great Chinese themed food in the restaurant
Beautiful decor and restaurant and great pool and gym facilities
The stay was relaxing and fine
Terrific place.
Absolutely gorgeous hotel. Unbelievably comfortable beds. Pool and wellness area were terrific. Friendly and attentive staff. Good Asian options for the dinner buffet.
Great place with free parking on side road. Excellent facilities to match a 5star
Not too far, not too close
Great hotel, a wonderful little restaurant nearby on maps. Great way to see some real life
Decent hotel not too far from the Brussels airport and not too close to city center so you might want to use car / public transportation. Reasonably spacious room, good condition, rainforest shower. Offers fitness facility and a pool. Staff was helpful. The only downside was breakfast. Could have been better for a 5-star hotel.
Without exaggeration this is probably the best Business hotel I have stayed in. The Staff were genuinely engaged and happy to help
Good underground parking facility. On site restaurants looked to be of good quality. Nearest metro station is a ten to fifteen minute walk from the hotel.
Bad to terrible management
This was the sixth time I stay at this hotel and the quality has gone down each time. I had either mosquitoes or bed bugs and I told the lady at reception this and even showed her how my legs had bites. She did nothing, no apology and no one called me to change of rooms or tell me they had cleaned or changed the mattress. The management of this place is very poor, too many young kids working there with no experience. Last time I was there I complaint about the broken tea pots.... guess what? This time I still had broken tea pots! Who reads and cares? Bad to terrible management. No wonder the place is full of airline people because the real 5 start client sees this is not a 5 start hotel. And the restaurant is really a cafeteria. Same food always everyday! This is not a 5 start place!
Overall, superb!
Furnishings in my room were slightly outdated but not bad.
Great hotel but disappointing location
Excellent service from the staff hotel, particularly the concierge team. I was well looked after by all Location is not so fantastic as there are no shops, facilities around the area and I was quite horrified that a dinner buffet cost 40.00 Euros!
Great amenities and attention to detail. Lovely staff and service. Food was delicious.
Nice hotel. Lacking in service, too expensive
Hotel was stunning, however location wise there is no shops around. Staff were unhelpful and added lots of suspicious charges onto the room. Wouldn’t stay again.
it was clean and nice, we parked inside the hotel for free.
Nice hotel - at good price via Hotels.com.
Nice hotel if you can get it for a sensible price. Not sure it’s 5 star though.
They have a really nice pool and a good fitness centre. The hotel is not close to the city, but it was handy for us because we brought a dog and the hotel is in a a park to walk the dog. But the hotel charges €50/day for the dog. For the extra cleaning in which case I could understand a once off charge, but not daily at a rate like that. And the room wasnt cleaned every day. Breakfast looks nice but tastes indifferently
This is a lovely hotel with a fantastic pool and sauna. The staff was excellent and the room clean and very spacious. The down side is it is a half an hour bus ride to Brussels but once one works out the transport that is fine.
Business trip Brussels
The hotel is new and my room was clean and spacious with two closets. Nice modern design style with some Chinese decoration elements. Indoor parking very convenient and there is a spa.
Overall very nice, but needs a few adjustments
Beautiful hotel. Room (jr suite) was lovely. Clean, nicely decorated, lush. But the shower dripped loudly at night, and (most importantly) there is a serious water pressure issues. I had a very cool and weak shower in both morning and evening times. The water vanished entirely from the sink. Reception staff can be slow, and it should not take 3 people to check one person out, while the queue builds up for others.
Business trip
The room was very nice, but the food was very expensive and not many options for a buffet style
Location was good for us with easy access to highways. Not so good if you want to be in the center of the Brussels action.
Business Stay - Overnight
The hotel is wonderful and now I have stayed a number of times. The reception greeting is friendly and welcoming. Although, normally upgraded due to account, this wasn't done straight away, until questioning with the team. The upgrade, was a room with 2m2 more, (the toilet was located to the other side of the entrance) but I went from having a view to looking over rooftops of the back of the hotel... I would say far from an upgrade. The bar is great, with an awesome range of beers, spirits and nice nibbles to snack on. The Bar team are very chatty and friendly which is always good. Comfortable seating and good lighting make it a bar area fit for enjoyment. The restaurant always has a great range of foods within its buffet. €40 for a buffet always seems a bit steep but you do have access to the teppanyaki chef. The breakfast is delicious with a great range of products, although the staff were quite rude on this occasion. Failure to listen and abrupt communication somewhat put a downer on the experience, and an annoying start to a business day. The spa, has a great little gym, not overly equipped, but clean and well lit. The spa, pool area and sauna are very nice, enjoyable and nice to have warm clean towels in the changing room. The shampoo, shower gel and body lotions provided at the hotel are really nice, and offer a great fragrance. I will stay again as I know one grumpy/rude employee can't alter the whole experience, and generally, it is a really nice hotel to visit
Comfortable clean hotel
Excellent choice loved the feng shui layout, very nice stay. Nice restaurant menu, loved the oriental food!
Asian decor is pleasing and restful
We thought this hotel was a cut above you average modern hotel. Public spaces bright and alluring. Room was a good size and well appointed. Staff well drilled and attentive. Buffet breakfast included the European favourites along with Asian food items I struggle to name. Would definitely book again.
Near airport - $25 cab ride
Beautiful hotel - room was smaller than expected but very nicely appointed. Lovely grounds and outdoor bar.
Awesome and friendly staff:) room was delightful, shower was AMAZING🤗 Food was spectacular 😋
We only spent one night here before heading to the airport, but it was a lovely serene night in the middle of some stressful travel days!
Incredible, relaxing hotel
Tangla hotel is a relaxing oasis. The staff is incredible and the building is impeccably decorated and new. We were traveling with our 1 year old and the hotel was very accommodating with her needs. The concierge was great! He let us know that there is a train about a 5 minute walk from the hotel that will take you right into Brussels, so there was no need for our to deal with parking and driving into the city. The swimming pool is beautiful. The beds are a little bit on the hard side but we like extremely soft beds. We would not stay anywhere else when we return to Brussels.
OK for a business trip
Not a 5* in my opinion but a solid 4*. Restaurant is pricey and limited choice.
Excellent and comfortable hotel
Kind staffs and delicious foods! Quiet environment , only thing I’ve felt inconvenience is accessibility to Brussels downtown.
Excellent hotel
good hotel near Brussels airport
Room was excellent. Within 15 minutes of airport so close enough without noise etc.
Lovely stay...
A nice and clean hotel located in a quiet area. This place in nice with few minutes away by car from the airport. This is my second stay here and i will come again. Just keep in mind that it’s not close to the city and will cost you about €16+ to take a cab or an uber to the city center.
More Chinese hotel in Brussels than anyone we know in Shanghai where we live.
Tangla tangle
The staff at this hotel are excellent; very helpful and friendly. The gym is large and has lots of exercise equipment. The pool and sauna are also good. The rooms are a good size and well maintained. The hotel also offers a shuttle service with is excellent.
Perfect for my business trip
Great hotel with lots of comforts on a business trip. Room is upscale and bedding was great.
A Hidden Gem
We picked this hotel for a New Year break as we needed to be near the airport as well as close to the family & friends we were visiting. The hotel is obviously well suited to the business traveller but we found it to be an oasis of calm and comfort during the holiday and can see its appeal for weekend breaks for the non business traveller. Although located out of the city centre, it is near the airport and the closest metro station is only a 10 minute walk. Whilst the exterior is a little underwhelming, the interior is stylish and well appointed following a recent refurbishment and many of the guests enjoyed the swimming pool facilities. The staff were very helpful at all times and the congenial bar manager had an original repertoire of cocktails and enjoyed the challenge of blending a new recipe.
The French need to get a handle on customer servic
This was a very excellent property with the rudest, inept staff. Coming into Brussels for the first time, I was expecting some decent service having travelled all the way from the USA. Not only did they not attempt to speak English, it seemed that I was bothering them by checking into their hotel. I feel sorry for the property owners that must have spent gobs of money to create this excellent property only to be totally ruined by the rudest staff on the planet.....not to be prejudicial but this is probably how all French treat non- French tourists. I came with my family of 6 and we all felt like we were sub human. Hotels.com....please omit this hotel/ country off your website. I am sure there are a lot of foreign tourists that experience rudeness by the French. One of the many reasons that I quit going to France or any country with French presence. That being said, obviously, I don't think I'll be returning to this property any time soon.
Great hotel, all to short a stay
Very nice hotel
Amazing!!!Will definitely be coming back.
We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this hotel. The staff were very professional and friendly.Everything was very clean our room the gym, swimming pool and changing rooms. We were well looked after.Thank you very much
First stay in Brussels.
Very nice hotel, seems very new. We were staying prior to flight. It seems to be midway between airport and Brussels Center.
Very clean and convenient hotel, good for business travelers, quite area and public transportation available nearby. I would recommend it.
Very modern and comfortable hotel. About 50 minutes walk from NATO through feilds and on footpaths for most of the way.
Wonderfull hotel
Wonderfull hotel , i stayed in for 3 nights, for my business it was ideal as it was near Catholic University, front desk personnel are very helpful , breakfast excellent. The only observation is the bathroom door handles are sharp you got to be careful during your movement in and out of bathroom.. The old hotel has been renovated.
Simply perfect!
This hotel is new and has a wonderful feeling to it! The breakfast has such a variety of choices, especially on healty food! I will make sure to go back on my next business trip!
Great hotel experience!
The hotel was very nice and clean. Breakfast was great! We would stay there again.
Great staffs ang buffet dinner was so good.
Friendly staffs.
Upscale Hotel from Start to Finish
When I arrived, I never had a moment where any employee was not looking out for my comfort. Simple things like lugging my suitcase down the hall was met by a random employee jogging to my aid to open a door or push a button on the elevator. The overall hotel is immaculate. Everything is clean and current. The price for food is a little high, but I did not mind paying 8 Euros for vegetable soup when it arrived in a iron pot that allowed me to pour portions into my bowl while keeping the rest of the soup warm. You definitely get what you pay for at the Tangla.
Super location close to “Clinique universitaire Saint Luc”
