Disappointing
The biggest issues with this hotel are the food and the feeling there’s cost cutting at every corner. I paid $136 a night and for Bali there are much better deals to be had. The beds are great, pool sparkling. Dinner was awful, breakfast so so. Mosquito nets were needing a wash. Water Provided was in the smallest bottles available, no soap at basin, one roll toilet paper and staff were mainly trainees. Trainees are fine if well supervised but dragging out suitcases half off the ramp so the soft part dragged up the concrete edge should be avoided. A small dispute on checkin was impossible to resolve with the language issue
One of the nicest places I have stayed in. Pool and landscaping is amazing. Great service and staff. Nice breakfast. Villa was very big and clean. A few upgrades to the shower and bathtub area would be nice as well as a small bar of soap to wash your hands. Overall a beautiful place. Wifi unfortunately was very intermittent.
Good location , nice views ,clean and nice facility
We had a great stay at Taman Ujung. The staff in the restaurant was amazing. Really loved the fried noodles. They were really friendly. Also, Made, the hotel manager was amazing. So helpful and responsive to emails. Thank you, Made!! There’s def one thing that could have made our stay better: NOISE LEVEL. We were not able to sleep in at all for the 2 nights. Starting at 6:45am in the morning every morning hotel staff would yell at each other outside our room. The villas has really thin walls so you can hear everything outside. They were yelling up until 11pm outside our room while setting up for an event and then was at it again at 7am in the morning. I wish the staff was more mindful of the comfort and privacy of the guests in the morning. You could hear them laughing and yelling for hours in the wee hours of the morning and the carts with wheels against cobblestone woke us up. Maybe be more quiet until at least 8am or 9am?
Outstanding hotel. A real gem.
Extremely quiet, we stayed for 7 days and it felt like our own private hotel. The pool is incredible (the photos do not do it justice), and is almost always empty. The rooms are massive, immaculately clean. We had a double (family of 4).
Amazing hotel!
Lovely hotel. Rooms fantastic and spacious, food amazing, pool great and staff are all very friendly and helpful! Would definitely go back!
Unexpectedly good.
I booked this hotel because it was close to two places I wanted to visit. I was not expeting much, but it turned out to be extremely good. Check in was fast and easy. All staff, from the front desk clerks to the gardner were extremely friendly and made you feel comfortable while at the hotel. The room (villa style) was so spacious and pleaseantly set-up, it had a huge room, a balcony, a small kitchen and an spacious bathroom with a nicely sized closet. The room and the balcony had excellent views overlooking the water palace, the beach and neighboring islands to one side and a montain range to the other. The bed was extremely comfortable. The gardens are well taken care of, the have flowers everywhere, but some of the trees (especially thore around the pool) are recently planted and still need to grow. There's a central area beside the pool which will make for a lovely wedding or ceremony. The pool is open 24 hours, great if you spent your day outside and want to relax a little in the night. Location is good for the area, 15 minutes to Virgin beach, 3 minutes to water palace, 7 minutes to Amlapura, vlore to rice paddies and a lovely view of Mt. Agung. The restaurant personnel is helpful and friendly, some of the menu options, especially local ones are great, others need some work. On the cons: The road in front of the hotel is a dirt and stone one, and not in the best conditions. The room was a little dusty. There are no bars or restaurants close by.
A Paradise in Extreme East Bali
This new hotel only had 7 people staying here when we were there. The staff went out other their way to ensure we had a great time- prices were reasonable for food and touring; we went to Amet beach twice, had a don't miss lunch at the Water Place, ate two dinners at Le Zat in Chandi Desa. And did a Day Tour too! Great value in a rather unexplored part of Bali. I've been there 30 times and there's always new things to see do and experienced.
I donot like Gecko. but,he walking around my room. I cannot yose this TV .
Daher absolut in Ordnung.
Staff very nice. They care of all !!! Pool very big. Each room is a separate house, big room and big bathroom. Good for 1 night. The must have of this hotel is that we had the last room with view on the amazing Garden: Taman Soekasada Ujung. We can buy tickets at the reception to visit the garden and they open the door to the garden which is just in front of our room/hause. During our visit, the driver from hotel pick up our big luggages in our room and join us 1h later in the main entry of the garden which is in the opposite of the secret entry close to our room and drive us to Lovina Beach directly to next hotel LovinaLife that we recommend.
nice hotel
Staff was great. Treated us well and took good care of us. The villa we were in was also clean and had a comfortable stay. But this is not a resort. Place was deserted, and a bit rundown. I could see this would have once been a resort but now the paints peeling, bathrooms fixtures all old, towels were all well used. Just a 2-3 star property with a comfortable stay. This town wqs deserted as well. We went out to get some food at around 6:3000pm but the town was all dark and shutters were closed already. Like a deserted down as well. We found a decent looking gas station and a Boba place open. So had something to eat.
