I had a wonderful time at Taj Lands End. Salil and Mayuri on the housekeeping team looked after my every need and the amazing room overlooking the Mumbai skyline was always fully stocked and immaculately clean. Thank you for the lovely stay and I look forward to staying here again in the future.
Needs updating
Very good stay
Shockingly disappointing for Taj Hotels. Poor service, standard offers like one way airport transfers were attempted to be charged. We had to argue to have them take it off the bill. Rooms tired and run down. Not a 5 star at best a 3 star. Inconsistent staff service.
The staff were commendable. They went out of their way to satisfy us. The gym facilities were very good and were accessible during our short stay. The room was of a generous size with cushioned chairs, a desk and chair a tv and comfortable twin beds. There was not enough drawer space but that was our only criticism. We got a4 night package at a reasonable price but the hotel is not cheap.
Great hotel
Hreat hotel. Beds weren't comfortable
Excellent Stay at Land's End.
Beautiful hotel, we were upgraded to the Club Floor and it was great to have access to the lounge and the staff were very nice. Atrium bar and performers were very good and the host, Mala was lovely. I wish I could have stayed a week instead of just 2 days.
Not too pleased with the room conditions. Hand towel was torn.
This is a great place to stay with a very upscale feel. It is located in a very congested neighborhood. The check-in process is very chaotic.
top of the class hotel
great location to stay.
Good
Great place to stay and the service is amazing
Overnight stay in Mumbai
The entire experience was great! I had a small problem with my room but I was immediately offered an upgrade. The staff were amazing! Breakfast was superb. The room itself was very comfortable and I slept well.
Liked everything.
Just an okay hotel
It’s just an okay hotel, don’t expect amazing service.
amazing service spa gym rooms everything great
Uncomfortable stay
The room needs renovation on priority. There were weddings going on in the lawns outside with the result the music and the Dhol was so loud - in spite of being tired from a long flight - we could not sleep due to loud noise.
Servers werent trained enough. They didnt know about wines & cocktails. They would walk past tables & not buss dirty plates at Buffet.
Fabulous stay
We had an amazing stay. Special thanks to house keeping team.
Just frustrating
Overall stay was good, though as a family from the UK, we weren't aware of the fact that under 21 year olds were not allowed in the House of Nomad. Initially just myself and my wife entered and ordered some drinks waiting for my 18 and 21 year olds. When they came, the staff created a lot of fuss and pointed to a sign that was not visible on entry. The place was empty by the way. We asked for the manager, who then sat us down and we continued our meal, but we all felt very uncomfortable. They also got my order wrong. We had no issues in the Taj Club Lounge, so this really frustrated me. Then to make matters worse, the server asked if I wanted to tip them, SERIOUSLY for an awful evening, I think not.
Great Property to Stay
It is a great property with excellent service/support The lobby is a bit noisy as the sound echos a lot so music etc can be too loud at times
Majestic hotel with large comfortable rooms and lovely bathroom facilities, albeit a little tired. Lovely pool area with a kids pool, serene hotel grounds to walk in with an aviary and fish pond. Good breakfast selection of Indian and continental dishes. Hotel enjoys a waterfront location in a residential area with nearby shops and restaurants a 20 min ride away. Booked 2 nights over the New Year period. Arrived at 2.15pm to be told the room was not ready (check in starts 2pm). The hotel was unsurprisingly busy with staff across the reception and breakfast areas stretched. The system at the front door was chaotic as limited space to move luggage after screening. Despite the poor check-in experience, staff were polite and warm throughout the stay. Palak at reception was excellent as she addressed the check-in concerns professionally and went the extra mile to ensure the rest of the stay was going well.
Great Taj property with Taj’s outstanding service A The buffet breakfast could use some additional seating as the wait time was a bit extra, but the staff was very helpful and friendly. I have a 2 year old and they made sure we were comfortable. Also the facility has kids play area and the little furry friends (bunnies) were added addition. Can’t say enough about the great location of Bandra West. Wonderful shopping and eateries around. Also accessibility to airport and south Mumbai is great.
Should stand up to the brand name
Checkin was slow. We were not given the rooms we had paid for. I had paid for King Room Sea View and one other room for the kids. Sakshi should have done a fair job in assigning rooms. I think rooms booked through Hotels.com do not get preference over bookings done directly through the hotel and hence are assigned sub-par accomodations. Kids room had a strong stench of cigarette smoke and Viren said "it happens" and "his housekeeping people" would take care of it and 6-hours later it was still there. Upon insisting, Utkarsh finally gave in and changed the room. Umesh (housekeeper) felt he was an extension of our household help and was very courteous and prompt in his duties. Breakfast buffet was a mess. Too many guests and too little room to fit all the hungry guests. It was very chaotic. Overall Taj did not stand up to its brand name.
Excellent!
Overall, great experience. However, rooms are somewhat dated and not maintained well. Hotel needs to retain its original character, it is an asset however , rooms should be updated while keeping their old world charm.
Awesome
Great stay. Would recommend
Great stay. Would recommend
The hotel is in a convenient location, but be careful when you book a room as some of the rooms are not renovated and show significant wear We booked a twin room and the beds were very uncomfortable as they had been used many times. The mattress was sagging. I was surprised as this quality given that this was a Taj Hotel. I complained about this, but they were unable to help me significantly. They told me that they were in the process of renovating the twin rooms, but this had not been done yet. I would not recommend booking this hotel if you need twin beds and want a good night’s sleep.
Loved the service and my room. I was upgraded to a beautiful room with a gorgeous view and ate breakfast at the hotel every morning. Staff is impeccable and the area around is fun. Easy to get anywhere.
Great stay
Nice stay friendly staff
Excellent experience.
Excellent hotel on the ocean. Great service and excellent food
Good
First time guest
No actual problems.
After an hectic wedding rituals and events we came to Taj for a peaceful night. And it was worth it. Beautiful view from the rooms, they even upgraded our rooms, very good butler service, awesome interior.
I have been a regular at this property for the last 20 years now and it never fails to impress. Anyone away from home
Beautiful property but not much around
Great staff. Rooms are little outdated with no hot water
We had room with a suite which they upgraded us to for free
Excellent experience! Gym was amazing and the best part was in-room check-in
Our check in was not handled satisfactorily.
Swarangi Mahadik is the Guest Relations Executive at the hotel and she checked us in at Reception. She was very attentive and caring and gave us a good overview of things to do in the area. Abinav was also awesome, The hotel lobby was beautifully decorated and the ambience was exhilarating. The dining area and staff were welcoming and breakfast was exceptional. We will definitely stay at Taj Lands in Bandra East.
The so called sea view was a building site with pileing machines . I was charged an extra £190 for a sea view room as an extra. This is a definite case of Mis selling and I feel runs so against the ethos of tata. I complained several times!
Excellent service and great view
Really lovely stay. Room had a sea view and the service, staff, amenities were really excellent. Would happily stay again.
The property was beautiful. The staff was great. The sea view from the window of our room was amazing.
Great property! Would return again
Very good 👍
It was wonderful
A great hotel but nagging issues.
I stayed there for 3 nights several times on business. On every occassion the access card of the rooms stop working after 1-2 days of service. This is a known issue and I have complained several times but it is the same always. One needs to walk back from the room to the reception again to get the access activated again. Imagine doing that in a huge hotel with plenty of bags in your hand. Also the bathroom fittings etc look dated and this hotel needs a renovation.
Our experience began as soon as we get out of the car, the staff took care of handling luggage all the way to the room. Check in was such a welcoming treat with kind staff and drink and garland. Lobby was gorgeous up to the Taj standard. We had a noisy neighbor we were upgraded to a luxurious room on the 23rd floor at a nominal price. View from the room was spectacular. Staff everywhere you go was willing to go above and beyond. Room service was excellent, Rahul in particular paid attention to meticulous details in the room, wrapping cables, arranging our stuff etc.Breakfast was grand and scrumptious, again staff there was friendly. we would definitely consider staying again when we are in Mumbai. Great job: Taj nahi Wah Taj Kahiye!
Nice hotel, rooms were nice. Only stayed one night.
Great staff brings great joy. Amazing well trained staff, definitely amongst the top tier hotels
AMAZING SERVICE!
The staff and their service is absolutely amazing! Right from the bell boy, reception team, Spa and gym team, to the person who served water at breakfast. Everyone was spot on with their service.
Great value for $.
Taj and team always goes all out to delight their guests. Another memorable stay. Thank you.
This is a once in a lifetime hotel! Gorgeous, smelled great, staff could not have been more accommodating, food was fantastic. There are several fun things to do: live music in the lobby and feeding the rabbits and the fish in the garden. We loved our stay here and was sad to leave.
There is no way this property can disappoint me. Been staying here since 1999 :) It has a different vibe compared to any other property in India !!
Excellent staff. Lots of dining opportunities which are a tad expensive. Easily accessible by a wide variety of transportation including Uber. Some rooms offer a great view of the sea. Area is safe and quite busy well into the night.
Taj Lands End, Mumbai
An excellent hotel to stay in....very good customer Service...very clean....Food and Beverage - top class...very smooth check - in and check - out...
Amazing stay..nothing else can match
Rabbits and other pets are so much fun to feed. One uniqueness about this place. Great hospitality especially by Viren/Sushma. All in all, a nice place.
Excellent level of detail. Best room I have ever stayed in
Taj never let's you down
Awesome Experience
Awesome..
Taj hospitality at it's best
Everything was great only issue the staff at breakfast could have been more hospitable …and soft in talking and serving …
My stay at Taj Lands End in Mumbai was nothing short of spectacular. Located in the vibrant Bandra neighborhood, the hotel offers breathtaking views of the Arabian Sea and the iconic Bandra-Worli Sea Link, making it a prime spot for both business and leisure travelers. **Rooms and Suites:** I stayed in a sea-facing room, and the view was simply mesmerizing. The room was spacious, elegantly decorated, and equipped with all the modern amenities one could need. The plush bedding and tranquil ambiance ensured I had restful nights throughout my stay. **Dining:** The culinary offerings at Taj Lands End are truly world-class. I had the pleasure of dining at Masala Bay, where the Indian cuisine was a delightful blend of traditional flavors and contemporary presentation. Ming Yang's Chinese dishes were equally impressive, offering a delicious array of flavors. The Atrium Lounge was perfect for a relaxing cup of tea and light snacks. **Amenities:** The hotel's amenities are extensive and top-notch. The fitness center is well-equipped, catering to all my workout needs. The outdoor swimming pool is large and inviting, perfect for a refreshing dip. The Jiva Spa offers a range of rejuvenating treatments that left me feeling relaxed and pampered. **Service:** The standout feature of Taj Lands End is undoubtedly the service. The staff are exceptionally attentive, courteous, and go above and beyond.
The property is obviously ran by Taj, it’s gotta be amazing! We enjoyed our stay but rooms need some updates without taking out the charm, may be unified paint and cleaning the baseboards would be great. A newer TV, colder mini fridge wouldn’t hurt. Service at the restaurant is okay, at a 5 star place you would expect if you order multiple course they will give you enough time to enjoy a course and your drink before bringing the case, it was the case here. Simple training of staff should teach them that. Anyways I liked the property I thought these might be helpful to improve such a beautiful property!
The uniqueness was that it was near famous actor house.
Exemplary service but the rooms are dated. The furniture is old and scratched. My Mini Bar wouldn't work.
Too busy. Too much traffic.
Property is ok but food and service has badly detiorated than before.
Excellent service and etiquette manners of the staff. They provided service above our expectations. This was a wonderful stay, we loved the little bunnies, koi pond and bird house in the beautiful backyard. We could feed the bunnies and koi’s. The yard was spacious and it had good relaxing options. Room service was also very good. We got every day a big bottle water. Breakfast had a lot of great variety, from Continental to local. We felt safe and took rides with the riksja’s which was quite an exciting experience. It’s highly recommended to stay at this hotel. We will definitely try to come back.
Very nice service - location and amenities were exemplary.
Amazing room and service. View from our room was breathtaking!
Great hotel with high standards and staff all round the hotel cannot be faulted. Very welcoming and friendly
Great hotel. Amazing service Love it
Checkout a disaster
It always beats me why the Taj Lands End doesn’t follow standard practice for checking out. Instead of using the same desks for check-in and check-out, like all hotels the world over, they refuse to check you out at the check in desks, even when they’re all free. Instead they force you to a undermanned, inefficient, and poorly organized desk where you’re forced to wait, all the while eyeing longingly the many available desks at the check-in counters. Please, please, see the light!
Amazing hotel
Good overall. The rooms do need to be updated.
Continues to strife for excellence in hospitality. However this time round the breakfast options not as good as previous stays and not to the usual excellent Taj standards
Should be more accommodative for regulars
Our stay was amazing right from property to staff service, food, amenities
It’s a fantastic location and setvice
Very luxurious hotel. Best views from 14th floor. Huge selection of wines and spirits.
Furniture repairs are not done well so expensive furniture looks dated or damaged. Service is excellent as is dining and spa.
My recent stay at Taj Lands End, Mumbai, left much to be desired, particularly in terms of dining experience at their Vista restaurant. For example, some of the main dishes were left at the end of the table, and we had to help ourselves; desserts were served without clearing the mains’ dishes; desserts were served without spoons; for breakfast while, some guests were given extra attention others were not attended even after repeated requests, we were given a table with previous guests used glasses and had to request 3 different people for water even after highlighting our child is thirsty, etc. Despite efforts made by the management to address concerns raised during our stay (such as having to wait for hours after arrival within the designated check-out time for our two interconnected rooms), the service quality at Vista Restaurant remained poor. The menu choices were limited and uninspiring, and the overall dining experience fell short of the standards we have come to expect from Taj properties. Even my young daughter expressed dissatisfaction with the food, making meal arrangements outside the hotel necessary throughout our stay. Additionally, the hotel failed to address the issue of clearing food trays from the corridors outside the rooms promptly (the food stayed in the corridors for over 12 hours on some occasions, and we showed the director of rooms those pictures). It smelled bad often in the corridors.
The all in all hotel experience if I sum it up in short
Taj does hospitality like no other brand. Fantastic staff, great food and breakfast. Great location for access to airport, Khar, Bandra, and south Bombay. We loved our stay and will certainly return. The building is a tad dated, but everything else is spectacular.
I got food poisoning at the restaurant on the second night. They also charge you extra for a child over 12 when you get there instead of fixing the issue
Great location
Amezing view
Normally I stay in other hotels, have stayed in this hotel for first time. Didn’t had good experience.
The best hotel in Bombay
Love everything about Taj Landsend.
The hotel offers a luxurious experience with a superb location, courteous ground staff, comfortable beds, stunning rooms and bathrooms, excellent toiletries, and an amazing breakfast. However, there are some not so good things. The in-room service is slow and occasionally unresponsive, with frequent issues of calls going unanswered. The food, although expensive, is often of poor taste and quality. And despite providing feedback to the manager, there seemed to be no significant action taken to address concerns. Additionally, as a gold Expedia member, there was no upgrade or special offer provided.

Perfectly located , amazing pool area and very family oriented hotel. Really convenient as well and spacious rooms
