The property was fine for a quick sleep before heading to Bora Bora. Property is very basic but fine. Lovely friendly staff. Easy to walk to the Airport, or taxi was NZD$30 for a 5 minute ride up the hill.
DON’T STAY HERE (& we aren’t travel snobs)
If you need a quick stay for a connecting flight, don’t taint your otherwise great trip by booking here. We arrived at 3:30pm on a steamy hot day (87°F). It’s close but walking up the hill isn’t feasible with a heavy bag. Even though it's close, taxi was still twenty US—the same as transport to the much nicer Hilton—1/4 of the amount is a "surcharge" to go uphill. There’s no A/C at the Faaa bag claim so we were very eager to cool off in our room before dinner. Check-in was smooth. There’s an elevator but it’s after taking 6-8 steps up. They have a “slide” to the side of the stairs which works for a small bags but heavy bags have to be carried up. The glass elevator and hall were warm & stuffy. We opened the door to room 315 and a blast of even hotter air came out. It was well over 95° in there. The small King room had a small wall AC unit that had been off for hours if not for days. The afternoon sun shined hot on the window. The room was uninhabitable. We turned on the unit and air barely flowed so it would not be bearable to stay in the room while waiting for it to cool. Frankly, it was a “oh he-- no” moment for both of us. We left the room and booked at the Hilton where we'd stayed on our inbound layover. The front desk lady was nice & gave me the manager's info. They refused to refund us. Invest a little more to stay where they keeps rooms ready for guest to occupy immediately after a long travel day! Also there's no food or bar, just a Chinese restaurant nearby.
Convenient
Great location. Fair value. Very smart and helpful bilingual Receptionist.
It is very close to the airport and technically in walking distance, but it is all uphill to the airport. We all had large suitcases and it was quite the workout to get there. Next time I will pay for a taxi to take us there. But it’s all downhill back and was just fine going back to the airport.
Perfect for a stopover.
We had a quick overnight here and could not have been happier. Quiet, convenient and comfortable. Very good price. No restaurants nearby but we arrived after dinner so it was fine. Take other reviewers advice and don’t try and walk here!
This is great place to stay if you have an early or late flight in or out of Papaeete. We had a party of 3 and the room was great- two rooms separated by a partial wall for privacy as well as two toilets, lots of sink room and 2 showers! Also a mini frig. The air conditioner was in one of the rooms. No restaurant at the hotel. We walked down to a Chinese restaurant but it was tricky figuring out how to get there with some big roads to cross. So get some food in town or at the airport before you come. They do have breakfast which we didn’t try and a frig with some cup o noodles and ice cream.
Room was nice and quiet, but I was disappointed because I had to order a taxi to go to the airport in the morning. The walk to the airport is not long, but you have to take the road down to the airport with no sidewalk. However, it was a good solution to catch an early international flight out of Tahiti.
Clean. Excellent service. Not an easy walk. Recommend a taxi, but you will probably need to pay in cash. The breakfast options were sparse.
Close to airport.
This is a very nice hotel and perfect for late night or early morning flights. We had a nice room for 3 people that had two sleeping areas separated a bit, two toilets, and two showers. The staff we met were exceptional. They were friendly and very helpful in helping us figure out the ferries. It was clean, the ac worked and we didn’t see any bugs.
This hotel should disclose it is not an easy walk to the airport up many hills. The property was very expensive for a two star hotel. Spend your money elsewhere.
It is the perfect crash pad if you are moving on to other islands the next day. Breakfast not free. But fair price. a/c for us worked fine. Very fair value. But notice the price, this is not the four seasons. Very fair value. Would stay there again
AC not turned on before we arrived. Took 4 hours to cool room down. No shampoo, no coffee. Only a sheet on bed.
Not really an airport hotel. The walk at night is unlit, uneven pavement and on a main road. Hotel is very basic. No ice machine, poor internet l, cleanish and our room was next to a noisy exterior door with a broken lock. Was used all evening with absolutely no security.
French 🇵🇫 Polynesia
Flight arrived late...check-in was still a breeze
It’s an airport motel
The parking lot is so steep you must be careful not to scratch your bumper. The lobby is unwelcoming with signs posted to not setup there. We arrived a couple hours early for check in with our two tired kids and felt unwelcome to sit in the lobby while Our room was prepared
Convenient to airport
Super friendly check in and clean room
It isn’t a fancy place to stay, but clean,I felt safe, the staff is so nice, and within walking distance to the airport. Perfect stay if you have a layover in Tahiti.
Convenient place to stay if need lodging at Faa'a airport. Basic clean accommodation. Airport shuttle service would be great addition. 2000 franc taxi for 3 minute uphill ride that can't be walked with luggage
Convenient hotel at the airport and reasonably priced.
Surprised it did not have a hair dryer or a spoon to stir the instant coffee
so close to airport but taxis charge $30 for one minute drive
Excellent
This hotel is perfect for the purpose. We had a one-night stay before continuing on through PPT for our trip home. The front desk arranged our taxi back to the airport and wake-up call very efficiently. One thing I wish I had done was arrange a van from the airport to the hotel - instead of paying for 2 taxis for my family of 5 + luggage. The hotel is clean and efficient. Be aware there are stairs before the elevator. Rooms are clean and comfortable.
Benefit is it is just outside the airport. Can get food delivered there but would recommend staying elsewhere if more than 1 night as you cant walk anywhere due to the location.
Basic clean accommodation
Basic accommodation close to airport. Still need to get there in a taxi. Not walkable from airport.
Property is located right across of the airport. They've permanently installed a fence so you have to get a taxi OR walk a longer route now. Still a good location for an overnight stay.
Staff is wonderful. Helped me with questions about ferry to Moorea. Helped with money exchange too. I have stayed here twice, now and back in 2018. I came back.
Nice, basic, convenient airport hotel.
Decent last minute stay while waiting for my flight. Clean and affordable. Staff was helpful. The hotel is just across from the airport. Elderly or people with heavy baggage should take a taxi, as it is up on the hill. Snacks and simple breakfast are available for an extra charge. The croissants were delicious. I would stay again.
Arrived late for an overnight.. check in was very efficient and the wake up call and cab we ordered were timely for our return for a early am flight
Very clean, very convenient. Friendly front desk.
5 mins walk from the airport.
Clean and very convenient. A good place to stay while you are in transit.
This is a motel, so of course you get what you pay for. I needed this for something close to the airport for a flight I had in the middle of the night. Upon arrival at the hotel it was dinner time they have no restaurant there is no restaurants near there. They sent me back to the airport to eat dinner where I had just come from. I had to pay for two taxis, each way which cost a total of US$50 to literally go less than 1 mile. The rooms are extremely basic no toiletries are provided. No coffee nothing in the mini bar. But if you’re looking for a basic place for a few hours, it would be OK. But I think $20 each way Taxi ride across the street for a half a mile to the airport is Ridiculously expensive.
Clean rooms, friendly service, good location. Yes I would recommend.
So they only have early morning and late afternoon/evening flights and charge excessive amounts for a late checkout-
For an airport hotel, it is not very walkable to the actual airport, especially with large bags. There is a time and place for this property, and it is exactly an airport hotel...ish. I would recommend looking up the walking route from the hotel to the airport before booking. Its not far, but it is located on a massive hill which makes walking with suitcases extremely difficult. We ended up cabbing the 1 minute journey to the airport, and they charged us $20USD.
Nice and quiet hotel for a putstop before a flight
I wish they have a hair dryer in the room Other than that I like my stay, the room is spacious we have a big nice room for 3 of us and the location is perfectly next to the airport.
Taxi to airport hotel
We arrived really late so no fault of staff or the accommodation. No coffee, milk or sugar in the room. Okay for a place to sleep after a long flight. Had to get a taxi for a 15 min walk as there was no footpaths and steps when toting large suitcases
Tahiti Airport Motels
It was clean. There was no shampoo/ conditioner only bath soap. Free parking but it was hard to park because of the steepness of the slope. We had scratches on our car rental due to the parking slopes.
Nice, clean hotel, great for the price and proximity to the airport!
Great value, very clean & comfortable!
Great! excellent value near the airport and perfect for early morning or late night arrival or departure. The mattress and linens were newer, clean, fresh. We had great water pressure and temperature. The room was spacious, and we had a 5 am arrival which we paid a bit more for early check in so we could get some sleep. The breakfast was limited- but good coffee, French croissant, fruit! We were sure happy to get anything comfortable at that time of day!
Convenient for the airport. You can actually have a five minute walk to get there on the 45 minute walk into Papeete. Rooms are very comfortable with air conditioning and the staff are very friendly
Great basic hotel for a overnight stay on the way in or out of Tahiti The walk from the airport is a fair trip around the block up hills to check in at the back of the property so be aware if you are carrying luggage
Close, but not really walkable with luggage to airport. Big hills. Hard bed. No blanket. No bar or food. Basic and not cheap
Everything was fine. Got a good night sleep, then flew out the next day. No problems. Taxi to and from airport across the street was $20 each way.
It’s close to the airport by largely inaccessible without taking a taxi. I was advised to take a taxi rather than walk at night. $25 US for a five minute drive. It was about the same to downtown.
Slightly above level of motel 6. Always were sweltering as was our room when we got there. The clerk on duty helped out getting the a/c going. (It had to be rebooted). She was very Nice and even offered to let us leave luggage there until our late flight the next day. Come morning we find that breakfast was an additional $10 per person charge for a cup of hot water (no coffee) a piece of bread and a 4 inch bowl of cornflakes. The morning clerk (maybe owner) ws less than hospitable!
Very clean and awesome hospitality
This was a very pleasant stsy for overnight before our flight back to the U.S. The only problem was we were cheated by the taxi they called; the meter opened at $20.00. Im sure the hotel got a cut so we felt ripped off for the 4 minute ride. Normally the fare starts off at $13.00.
Very convenient to airport
Proximity to the airport is the best thing about this hotel. Clean, but bare bones accommodation. If you are spending time in Tahiti, or want to be closer to the Ferry you might consider a different location.
If you don’t have a car you are stuck. Situated up on a steep hill with nothing around it.
Very simple but clean room, good for a one night stay before flight
A great stay before catching a flight.
We stayed here before our flight back to the United States. The rooms were clean, but they had no blankets. They had an air conditioner that Worked! A good value for a quick overnight. They arranged for taxi service.
Close to airport
The location of this motel is accross the airport and we thought that we can walk there. But it was close to impossible due to a strange access to the hotel around the hill. The straight road to the hotel is closed and gated so you are not able to get there by walking. With such a proximity to airport, it would be logical to provide a shuttle for its visitors. For a modest price. Regarding its services, they dont replace your towels if you stay for two nights. Even if you ask at the reception.
Fantastic stay. Most comfortable bed on all the islands! Clean simple room. Staff incredibly kind and helpful. Great place to stay if you are landing late and island hopping.
Close to airport. Ok for a night / short stay. Wish there were more options by airport.
Single woman flying in after dark, took cab ($20) to hotel. Courteous checkin and nice stay for one night before moving on to resort. Definitely no frills..really, really basic but what I wanted for the price.
Nice clean hotel, but I had trouble with the parking spots as they were very tiny and the very steep driveway, I had a stick shift car for the first time in 3 decades so those made it hard. Otherwise thank you
Convenient, nice staff
Great for a night before a flight, close but still need a taxi as very steep, slightly strange having the lift up some stairs but good to stay before a flight
I came here last year and it was a 3 minute walk from the airport. Since then, they closed one of the paths and the walk is about 15 minutes from the airport.
Close to airport
Staff were friendly and accommodating, and very helpful. Very friendly place.
Close to airport
For transit one night, adequate. Access is not great. Quick for access to airport.
Very convenient F from the airport. Extremely friendly staff, clean but basic room. V hot on arrival but cooled down with the quiet A/C. Breakfast was great with wonderful French bread and pastries but no other drinks or food easily available. There was no milk or cream/creamer in the room to add to the tea or coffee Overall a very nice stay with clean comfortable bed and wonderful shower. Even though this place is v close to the airport there was little or no noise. Restful stay
Airport hotel
Just one night as our flight got in late…
Location for airport great
Perfect location for a late nights that flight arrival - we walked up quite a steep hill but not a major issue - 5/6 minutes . A taxi would take 2 minutes
Extremely hilly walking to anything local. Had to pull bags up a steep ramp. Poorly laid out.
Very convenient from airport
We enjoyed our short stay at this well kept Motel/Hotel. The walk from the airport in the middle of the night however was a bit of a mission. No shortcut up the steep alleyway, the gate was locked. Take the normal road to the place on the left hand side coming from the airport. Breakfast was a bit of a disappointment, would probably have been better at the airport but otherwise we were pleased to have booked this place.
Basic but clean rooms with working A/C and updated bathrooms. Fine for a night to rest between flights. Very close to the airport in Papeete. You see the Motel right away exiting the terminal, but do not try to walk this with luggage - very steep uphill, stairs and busy roads. Spend the 20 bucks on a taxi. Beautiful views of Papeete, the airport and Moorea from the rooms. Great authentic Chinese Restaurant within 10 min walk ( without luggage!).
The motel is not attached to the airport and is not very convenient to get to the airport.
Very friendly staff
Property seems pretty tired but clean. Not much signage to follow if walking up from airport and it's all uphill in the heat. Limited breakfast. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Very nice renovation. Close to the airport and downtown. Market within walking distance.
For a quick stay close to the airport, it’s a great location. HOWEVER, avoid getting a room on the 4th floor (their top floor) because elevators only go to the 3rd floor, so yep, we had to haul our bags up a flight of stairs. And, there are about 6 stairs from lobby to elevator , so no matter what, you got stairs with your luggage (although they put a ramp by lobby stairs to roll bags up… it’s kinda hilarious). Otherwise clean, and friendly staff.
Convenient, clean, courteous!
Convenient to airport
Very kind and friendly staff. Nice view of harbor and mountain out our window. Close to airport.
What a great surprise
Manager was terrific. Spoke excellent English, verry helpful on checkin and arranged for pizza to be delivered. Room was huge, nicest towels in any hotel or motel in years. Perfect view of airport but still quiet. Locationso close but still needed taxi to get down to airport
Convenient for an overnight stay for an early or late flight. To the airport it’s 2000 xpf for taxi (cash) or 15 minute hilly walk, not recommended with luggage.
Front desk woke my wife and I up at 1am by calling the room telephone and telling me that i was making too much noise. Seeing as how i was asleep untill they woke me up, i dont see how this could be possible? Maybe get up off your lazy bum next time and come check any noise complaints out in person to see where its coming from?
If you need a place super close to PPT airport (but not walkable) for a night at a great price, this is your place. If you need frills or a blanket for your bed….look elsewhere. I’d stay here again for a quick overnight. It’s a bare bones, clean with few amenities kind of place.
Great hotel for staying
Very convenient and great place to stay for transit. The room is very comfortable and clean.
Liked the closeness to the airport. Staff was very helpful and offered me a ADA room. Very pleasant experience
Everything was bad. I’d never stay here again!
A comfortable place to land and collect yourself
A comfortable hotel with decent views of the lagoon from the room. Easy to get to from the airport and a nice place to land and collect yourself after the long flights!
Very close to the airport. You’ll need to get a taxi ($20) for the short ride to the property unless you don’t mind the long uphill walk. Great staff member at check in.
Basic and clean hotel. Very close (and in across the street) to the airport. Only stayed 2 nights as we were moving on to Moor ea. Only con was they do not have face towels (only hand and bath).
Comfortable for an overnight stay with easy access to airport.
Basic airport hotel. Great for what it is. Not easy to get to as you have to go round the back and up a dark road but there are signs.
The room was ok but there was only one pillow per person, no coffee, and no hair dryer.
This Motel made it very easy for a quick overnight stay. Staff organised my taxi to the airport the next day.

It does the job for being the closest hotel to the airport. Be warned though that it’s not all that walkable to the airport, as a previously available route is now blocked off. Otherwise it’s a bare bones convenient place to stay near the airport. Don’t expect anything more out of it, and you won’t be disappointed!
