Friendly staff

My son and I loved staying at Sevn, it was close to everything without being in the middle of the noise and traffic. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly our whole stay, we couldn't fault them. Our room was clean and comfortable. We loved the rooftop pool and bar and spent lots of time relaxing up there. The spa is also excellent for massages. Highly recommend for great value! (The Corner Bar and Restaurant across the road is awesome too and really well priced).

Whether was great only rained a couple of times and that was during the night. Breakfast was great, staff were excellent, room was clean and serviced every day. Above all had a very pleasant stay.

Very noisy, the bed is terrible. Moved out after one night.

Sevn Legian - awesome location and service

Great location. Right in Legian.. roof top pool Beds are new so bit hard.. but overall amazing.. I’ll be back next time One of the boys was feeling unwell and needed a sleep before late flight and they found a room for us to rent in the complex at a very good price

Great hotel and a central location, plenty food and drinks options around the hotel. Hotel itself is modern and clean, if not a little tired, but otherwise comfy beds and rooms, lovely rooftop pool. Breakfast options could be a little better as very focussed on Asian tastes. Hotel is a 5 min walk from the beach.

A little bit had to get out of the pool the ladder needs to have 2 more steps

Since the rebrand , we found the cleanliness and overall quality of food had dropped . The beds are as bad as always, thanks fully they kept most of their lovely staff. We have stayed there over 10 times but we might look at a different option next year .

Perfect location, friendly staff, nice breakfast, nice swimming pool, good price. Unfortunately only few rooms have a balcony. The rest cannot open te windows.

Sevn - the old Swiss Bel

The only problem was we had booked a twin and they had a double set up in the room. We had to wait for room change after midnight. They did upgrade our room so that was a bonus. Change of management but still great staff, comfy beds and great breakfast.

Maybe when Renovations next door finish it will be more quiet, but between hard/uncomfortable bed and noise from renovations from 7am-7pm I never had a good sleep. Staff are lovely, but photos make this place look much larger than it is. All the rooms are around courtyard that they serve breakfast in, so you can hear them setting up from about 6am. If you can, get a room up high, as bottom floor rooms open up directly to eating area. Only place to hang out in hotel is small pool area on roof, which is lovely, but only deck chairs, or small lobby near road. Close to everything, so convenient, but needs some TLC.

Great little gem

Hotel SEVN never dissapoints. The staff all around are very helpful and accommodating and wonderful and polite. Breakfast is okay but its same food daily but enough for a start to the day. The little crosoints don't taste fresh and the pancakes are not hot although are covered with a candle under them to suposedly keep them warm. Thats just me being picky but i'd love to eat them daily if fresh. Our room wasn't cooling one night and it was very hot so the staff gave us another room to sleep in untill the engineer fixed the aircon the next day in our original room. This was our second time staying here and we have booked again for next year. The pool is rooftop and the sun is there all day. The rooftop bar is there also and i noticed this time they have changed/added to their drink/cocktail menu, so well done SEVN. The massage spa place is nice and i got great massages from Srikk she does amazing foot reflexology. We are definitely gooing back again. The shops and restaurants are all around and its not far to walk to them

Great service and very friendly staff

This property is lovely I have stayed at many and rate this highly. The service the room the food, and location although there is a building being done next door they moved me so no noise to the other side of the Hotel. The beach is one street away. I just had room cleaned when I visited the pool on the roof with the best bar attendant ever. Wow can he make a cocktail. I had daily massages, but did go out for those as there is a coffee shop just down the rd with massage upstairs. SOOO GOOD The Hotel have money change and info on tours.I would go back in a minute. And recommend for single travellers or families. Love the Pumpkin Soup. Thanks for my awesome holiday.

Faultless

Firstly, no one contacted me to say that the Swiss Bel I booked was now a completely different hotel chain? This created confusion !! I stayed here 14 years ago and it was really great, but time and Covid has taken its toll. It wasn’t very clean, the restaurant leaked like a sieve in the rain, and the staff seemed lack lustre. It’s in an area full of ‘Aussie’ bars/pubs showing the AFL?? It’s cheap though, so, was adequate for a 1 night stopover but I certainly wouldn’t want to stay any longer.

Good cheap hotel close to everything great staff

I find this hotel convenient. It is located in Legian walking distance to the beach and there are many little restaurants and bars on the streets nearby. I have stayed at the hotel twice now, each time for several nights. The room was clean. The balcony was nice, the washrooms were alright. The bed was comfortable. The room was a nice size. The water pressure in the shower was good. The shower head was fixed. The pool is on the rooftop. It is not the biggest but decent size with a view over top the surrounding buildings. It’s hot on the rooftop, great for tanning. This isn’t a fancy hotel, but it is good for the price, clean, convenient and considering I spend most my time out and about while in Bali, it is just a place for me to sleep at night. It fits the bill. There is a breakfast buffet. It is just okay. Nothing special about it. Some western options and the rest local food options. The coffee isn’t good. But nearby there are some coffee shops that make up for that. This hotel seems to have some younger tour groups from Europe that frequent it. At least that was the case both times I spent there. No issues at all. Other guests were of all ages.

Great view and atmosphere

Needed a gap place to stay for a last minute late night flight, never stayed in a hotel in Bali. Arrived at hotel checked in and was told about 6th floor rooftop pool and bar, and given a 1/2 price 1 hour massage voucher. Went to take a look and stayed up there for the rest of the day. Had lunch, a few drinks and even a fantastic massage.

Bit of construction work next to the property and lots of international students which made it hard to get space at the pool area

The best budget hotel in legian.

The best budget hotel in legian, value for money. Clean spacious rooms, nice cool Aircon. Friendly staff, location is fantastic with lots of bars, shops, restaurants, within walking distance. There’s a money changer on site with the best rate. Massage centre was lovely, our massages were firm & cheaper than other places. Cocktails at the pool bar were delicious & they do happy hour. The buffet breakfast has so much to offer and is only around $9 aud. Definitely stay here again in the future.

Good value for money

Just changed names was previously Swiss bel-in. Same everything. Location fantastic, close to market stalls, shops, cheap bars, expensive restaurants/ cheap restaurants. Easy to get a grab anywhere. Hotel buffet breakfast is amazing, only $10 aud. Pool is infinity, cocktails were yummy. Will be back soon!

Everything you need for a budget price

Clean, comfortable, great buffet breakfast for $9, lots of restaurants, bars & shops around. 10 mins to the beach. Comfortable huge bed. The best budget hotel !

Sevnlegian previously the Swiss Berlin changed during my stay . Most of the staff are the same . The service was great, the position is good, the breakfast is very good . My room was comfortable, The roof top pool and bar and a nice small gym . I enjoyed my stay .

Rooftop pool bar

Pros: Staff was amazing (anything took 5-10 min to action, from PK delivery to maintenance, everyone was positive and helpful) Breakfast was tasty and plenty to choose from. Coffee was last two days bellow average. Facilities were good. Pool on the roof was warm and clean and very romantic during the sunset. Bar staff was super friendly and the price was very reasonable happy hour 1 1 free drink made us to try every drink on the menu. Spa treatment was nice, very good price for hour massage and the lady knew what she is doing. Gym was average but clean. Cons: We had to move the rooms due to the strong dump smell and no privacy as there was a view on the other building with construction and workers around. Other room was smelling better the first day but then got the same smell and my partner had a problem to breath properly. We couldn't sleep during the whole stay and were avoiding staying in the room any longer than necessary. Also there was a mold everywhere and we assume that the AC and fan wasn't cleaned properly causing issues to breath. I have never got a rash in my life until staying in this hotel but can't confirm or deny if it was caused by the room. We did stay during the humid season but if the hotel had any window which you could open, it would make a massive difference. Overall we did enjoy the pros of the hotel, the price and convenient location, but we would not stay there again.

The rooms are clean and tidy, staff are friendly and professional. I had a fantastic 10/10 full body massage at Chayana on the rooftop. Rooftop pool bar was open till late. Friends room had a problem with the air conditioning and they sent a staff member to fix it immediately.

Can you fill this fountain with flowers and fish?

The hotel was easy to reach and the beach was also close. The breakfast was very varied and fresh. As an idea I would add that you could fill this fountain with flowers and fish. Overall I am very satisfied.

Great checkin. Lovely staff. Rooms cleaned to high standards daily. Fabulous pool area and incredible views. Breakfast options were fantastic , with a different daily hot selection theme. Value for money - absolutely. Ask for a room at the back away from street music and traffic. Suggest the the kitchen provide plant options for milk and perhaps gluten free bread. Even if just soy milk as many people dont tolerate dairy and gluten...

I would rate this Hotel Five stars if it wasn"t for their pillows. The pillows are very hard and impossible to get any sleep on. We purchased soft pillows from the supermarket and it was so much better. Everything the Hotel offers is certainly good value at this price and the staff are very good.

This was very central to shops,restaurants and the beach.

Position is convenient with close proximity to shopping, restaurants, Spas and the beach, walking distance to the heart of Legian (Garlic Lane, Padma and Melasti Street) and the beach. rooms are quiet at night so easy to get sleep and buffet breakfast was pretty good. Staff were very helpful and the money changer at the foyer was about the best price around which made things easy. with the price of the rooms per night very reasonable and competitive with other hotels around we would definitely stay again if they keep the price reasonable. would recommend for sure.

Well located hotel with roof top pool. Has a kettle and fridge in room, which is always nice. Bath towels are old and tired looking, but other than that, no complaints.

It was a great budget hotel. The walls are a little thin so you can here noise from adjoining rooms and can get a little loud in the morning with people's doors slamming and breakfast being set up. The rooms were serviced everyday. The staff were very lovely and the pool area was amazing. Location was fantastic close walk to everything. We had a great experience and would definitely stay there again.

Ok but rundown

Overall it’s ok, the rooms are just tired and a bit run down. If you get a cheap price it’s fine but if not you might be disappointed. The breakfast was good though and the location is great. Just in need of a renovation and deep clean like lots of hotels in Bali post pandemic. Atleast they could replace the sheets and shabby towels. Staff were all friendly and excellent!

The only thing we didn't like was the bed & pillows! We had bad backs discomfort sleeping. We will not stay there again only because of bed..Otherwise we loved everything else the breakfast, staff were exceptional in everyway! We recommend toppers for beds

We’ve stayed at this hotel several times over the past 10 years and it’s deteriorated and worn.The bed linen was old and smelly.Especially the pillows.Shower hot water was unpredictable.The buffet breakfast was about par.The noise from the other younger guests was annoying.The continual lift music playing in the corridors was a pain and unwanted.We won’t be returning I’m afraid.Sad.

basic decent practical

Stayed there a few days on and off. Rooms are decent , fridge, safe, coffee.but most have no open windows so can be stuffy, sometime weird smells came through ac. Have stayed in a few other hotels and the mattress here was uncomfortable, but big bed. Staff are great, breakfast is OK w good choices. Walk to beach rests etc, rooftop pool and bar is a plus. Would stay again cos good value, and location.

Good location with a short walk to the beach and to good eating cafes and restaraunts. Near enough to markets. Breakfast good but staff slack in renewing food and drinks. Some mornings we had to clean and set our table...Bali same same!! Altogether a good place to stay , reasonably priced...will stay again.
