The best things about my stay here was that the hotel was right on the beach strand, the staff were super friendly, and the breakfast was delightful. The room I had was a bit outdated, but had the necessities. I loved that there were plenty of retail and restaurants nearby.

The property is tired! But it was clean and reasonable. Small rooms and breakfast was not as expected! Balcony to small to sit out!

Absolutely loved my stay at the Sunshine Hotel! Receptionists, cleaning staff, and restaurant staff were all super friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. Cannot beat the proximity to the beach with free access to lounge chairs and service from the hotel restaurant, plus having the pool as an option when you’re all beached out was perfect!

Although its a typical hotel ... the prox to the beach and the access to umbrella chairs was great. The front staff were friendly and informative about the hotel. Breakfast was OK. and unfortunately as was the case in other hotels I stayed in around the Greek Islands, this one did not offer a bottle of water nor did they supply hair conditioner in the shower. I was surprised by this since the hotel does tell you no to drink the tap water.

From the very start at check in with Eva on reception everything & everyone about Sunshine Hotel was fantastic! All the hotel staff from our room cleaner, kitchen & bar staff, beach & restaurant staff were extremely friendly, helpful & courteous Our room 402 was overlooking the pool with great views of the mountain behind, it was spacious & also had a balcony, fridge, large tv(didn’t use) Breakfast was quite basic, a mixture of toast, cereals, fresh fruit & some cooked option, all very tasty but maybe not for everyone. Situated on a long pedestrianised sea front which is mainly dominated by hotel restaurants that overlook the sea, anyone can use so you’re spoilt for choice! Kamari is a laid back resort, ideal for couples wanting a more relaxed holiday, it does have some lively bars however if you prefer! If you’re thinking of staying in Kalamari I would highly recommend Sunshine Hotel for your stay 😁

Santorini

From the moment you arrive to the moment you leave, you are treated very well. The staff are frendly abd professional. The hotel is right opposite the beach. Would i use this hotel again. A very big yes.

The location was great. It was right on the beach with many restaurants and shops but not too crowded or too touristy. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

Great hotel and service

Room is very clean, The staff is excellent, hotel is just in front of beach, very good for swimming. It has a nice restaurant providing food from local to international although we had our dinner in next door where it has fresh local fish every day.

I very much enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The sea view was astonishing. Staff were respectful and helpful. I must say that the hotel Manager was extraordinarily helpful. I had an official document to send and he went above and beyond to help, support and even type it for me on his personal computer. This was impressive. I will certainly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Santorini. Thanks again Sunshine hotel!

We stayed at this property from 2nd Sep till 5th Sep in a double room 106. The manager and the receptionist lady at the front desk are just brilliant. Always ready to help and share any local information. The hotel is situated in a brilliant location just opposite to a beautiful beach. The hotel provides free sun beds and towels for the beach. Breakfast is okay. The room in which we stayed is slightly small in area as compared to what we saw in the photos. Overall good experience.

The hotel manager and staff were amazing, i can't say enough good things about them, every member of the staff gave us the five star treatment and were so friendly. The hotel is very nice and is in a great location, right on thr black volcanic beach of Kamari, which was my favorite part of Santorini overall. Kamari doesn't have the stunning caldera viiews but has a chill, relaxing beach vibe which is what my girlfriend and i prefered as a location to stay in. Oia is a 30 minute drive from Kamari early in the morning before the cruise ships and tour busses, later in the day its about sn hour drove and Oia becomes a nightmare.

We had a really lovely stay. Requested sea view room and it did not disappoint. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Pool side was really nice and not over crowded even tho hotel was fully booked. Had restaurants, shops and the beach at our doorstep. Would definitely come back

We really enjoyed our stay here. The rooms were nice, the hotel was beautiful, and the owner and staff were incredibly kind and fun. We loved having the beach with beds for hotel guests, as well as the hotel bar and restaraunts a few seconds walk away. The location is perfect: quiet, but very close to all the shopping and restaraunts down the boardwalk. Highly recommend this place and will hopefully be back again soon!

Sunshine Hotel was everything we were looking for and more! The rooms and hotel are immaculately clean and the staff are so friendly and helpful. We loved the breakfast buffet too!

The hotel is perfectly located along Kamari Beach. The staff are amazing and the rooms are clean and modern. Demitrius and Eva are wonderful friendly people and they shine like the sun and are always happy and smiling. The hotel restaurant is set a metre off the beach on a raised area so you enjoy perfect views whilst eating or relaxing with a drink. We will return ❤️

Hotel Sunshine is amazing . Right on the beach with lovely welcoming staff . Rooms are spoltlessly clean and the breakfast is great with varied choice of food and drinks . We had a late flight and we’re able to use shower facilities and test on the beach all day . We will definitely return

Perfect spot for a vacation!

We stayed at the Sunshine Hotel for a week with my wife. Everything was perfect. The staff was super friendly, accommodating any request we had. The location was perfect to enjoy breakfast in front the beach. Plenty of the restaurants and shops around. We couldn't ask for more!

Stay here for as long as you wish ...

I would be more than happy to stay here again. Breakfast was nice, lovely staff, room spacious and clean. We had the mountain and pool view. Off-site parking is about 5 mins walk from the hotel. This is on a vacant lot at the back of the hotel. We felt safe and the food in the restaurant is reasonably priced and top quality.

The BEST place to stay in all of Santorini!!! The hotel is modern, clean, and spacious, yet has the cozy feel of a real boutique hotel. We had the sea view room, and wow, there are no words for the sunrise you will see in the morning on the horizons of the Aegean Sea. Although Santorini is always known for it's sunsets, the sunrises are just as magical, and the fact that Sunshine has it's own beach is absolutely wonderful. The manager Demetrius made sure to address our every need, as well as the entire staff, and they made us feel right at home sine everyone was courteous, professional and super friendly. Since Fira and Oia can be very crowded and expensive, the amenities and service this hotel offers for the price is absolutely unparalleled. I wish we had more than 2 nights to stay! We cannot wait to come back :)

I had an incredible time at Sunshine hotel. My first time traveling out of the country and alone and this was the perfect place to stay. Staff was amazing and friendly. Everyone was so helpful if you had questions. The breakfast was delicious. The hotel restaurant had amazing food and drinks. The location was perfect so close to the beach and so many shops and restaurants to walk to. The pool was lovely and so was my room. Couldn’t of had a better stay!

We had beautiful room with balcony overlooking seashore. It was relatively small but clean and comfortable. Breakfast is plentiful, eating area is outside under tent so you could enjoy sea view Hotel is situated almost at the end of Kamari beach, last stop of bus going to Fira. If you going to use bus, come 15 min earlier - it may come earlier and leave as soon as all people boarded. There is nice board walk in front of hotel, so if you are a jogger morning hours are for you. Then it becomes too packed. Hotel has own section of beach with chairs, umbrellas and bar serving its guests If you are not aware, you can't drink running water in Santorini. Good thing is that bottles are sold everywhere All in all, this hotel is a perfect place to stay on island

Beautiful hotel on the beach!!

Staff were so friendly and helpful. Greeted me whenever they saw me. Room was pretty and air conditioner was very cold and easy to regulate desired temperatures. Beautiful room with balcony with ocean view. Beautiful pool area. Very clean and safe. Breakfast was delicious. Beach chairs were comfortable and shaded of desired. Walking distance to shops and restaurants right outside hotel. Beautiful setting. Will definitely return to the hotel.

Great Stay

Great Stay. I would love to go back to Santorini and I would definitely stay there again. We got the junior suite, and it was well worth it. Very close to many restaurants (to include the restaurant in the hotel) and maybe a 10-15 car ride from the airport. The beach is not even a minute's walk away.

Very clean, staff was very helpful. Location was excellent across from the Aegean Sea. The room was very small and the shower was almost impossible to use because it was so small.

Excellent Hotel with great service

A lovely hotel on the seafront in Kamari with numerous shops and restaurants nearby. We had a room with a terrace overlooking the sea. 24 hour reception and the same two people seemed to be there all the time and were extremely helpful. Pool is at the back of the property with a bar area (drinks only, no food). We had a great time and would recommend this hotel. Only slight negative is that the description states free parking. Although this is true, It is not onsite parking - your car has to be left in a public car park a few hundred metres away. Not a big deal but worth knowing.

Excellent. Right by the beach. Plenty of eateries. Frequent, cheap buses to the Fira to see the beautiful sunset. The staff are very helpful and the breakfast was adequate.

Lovely hotel in a great location!

Lovely, clean hotel with adequate facilities in a great location for eateries and the beach.. Rooms cleaned every day. Breakfast was adequate. I took my own granola from the UK mixed with the hotels lovely Greek yoghurt. Breakfast was taken overlooking the sea.... amazing view!! The pool was lovely. Never had a problem getting a sunbed. My only criticism of the hotel was the shower cubicle in our room was very small.

The Hotel was beautiful, the staff was super friendly and the area was great for tourists, tons of restaurants and little shops by the Sea. The room was very small and the bed was hard but aside from that it was amazing!

nice location along beach, excellent breakfast, nice pool. helpful staff. nice to eat breakfast on porch with sea view. rooms are small and not noise isolated (very narrow corridor so hear people passing by and also neighbour rooms).

We did not have water for almost 24 hours and if my husband didn’t ask for updates we would have been told nothing, then we didn’t have hot water for two days. This picture advertised makes you think most rooms have that view when really there are maybe 3 rooms that do. Very old hair dryers, that as you use them the handle heats up and it gets very hot. Breakfast was good but the same exact things every day.

Sunshine Hotel was amazing. It’s a short walk from the beach. The staff were very friendly and helpful and made our stay great. We will be coming back again!

Best hotel in Kamari Beach

From the moment we arrived everything was perfect. The front desk employees (Eleni & others) were helped us arrange car rentals and tours for me and my mom. The room was clean as the entire hotel; their breakfast buffet amazing, everything fresh every morning. We also received outstanding service from the employees at the restaurant right in front of the hotel (Nicola); the attention at the beach was also outstanding. We highly recommend this hotel.

Small property not worth staying at specially when they overcharge you for pick up and drop services from and to airport. A taxi ride would have cost me 7-8 euros at most whereas they charged me euro25 each way. Bad customer practice

The hotel was in a great location , plenty of bars and restaurants along the promenade . It was directly across the road from the beach . There was a bus stop just around the corner from the hotel and the buses travelled all over the island . The hotel was very well laid out , was spotlessly clean , very helpful and pleasant staff with a good buffet breakfast everyday . The only addition i would make would be to add to the bar that was by the pool . It served hot and cold drinks but i think if it sold snacks ie crisps , nuts , ice cream and toasted sandwiches it would be ideal for the visitors to the hotel . All in all it is a fabulous hotel to stay at and it made our holiday , would definitely recommend to family and friends .
