Couldn’t get any heat unable to take showers and were cold. Both front desk employees came up to the room but were unable to get any heat. Mntc man had gone home

Very friendly staff

Terrible experience. We get there and they said they are overbooked and have no room for us. Then they propose that they can lower our price and give us room without tv. We took it but never see the refund. They refused to give it. There was only one big and one small towel in the bathroom for 4 people. I asked for more, heard that they are not ready. Never again.

Great location

We had to canceled our hotel on the same day and we were able to booked this one . Marriot never disappoints. We know how they operate and the quality . Prices were affordable and the actual room was clean , modern , Starbucks was walking distance , first watch , Mexican restaurant , great location . My only concern was the noise , you could hear everything outside . We will be back .

The pool looked awful, and looks like it had been that way for awhile. The breakfast selection was not great at all. Coffee never hot, very limited options. . The fan on the bathroom made a awful noise. Only gave us 2 towels for 5 people. I had to go get more. I wouldn't stay at this location again.

Ethan at the front desk provided amazing customer service. The morning breakfast provided a good selection for both adults and kids.

Lacking

Could not find our reservation simply because of incompetence. After wasting about 30 minutes, finally found it under the exact spelling as shown on the reservation and ID. The rooms were clean with plenty of space, however the walls were very thin and the rooms are noisy - not much sleep after a long day of traveling.

Quick one night stay

Quick one night stay! The customer service here was wonderful! The rooms could use some minor TLC! Waterspots on the painted parts of the wall in the bathroom, comforter had to be changed due to stains (which they did right away, thank you), ottoman was stained, half the lights around the mirror in bathroom were out. So just little minor things....but The rooms are spacious! Comes with mini fridge and microwave, which is always a plus!

Noisy hotel

Thin walls you can hear your neighbors all night, basic breakfast not good.

There is only toaster. One person at a time. WE need double toaster or 2 toaster. WE need to wait and wait for our turn. Suggestion : to have more toaster available! Thanks, Ana prazeres

Not so good, not horrible- fair

Stay was fair. Front desk was fine but didn’t have much of any idea what places are good to eat at. Pillows need to be upgraded. Room was not adequately cleaned. Breakfast definitely needs to be improved. Not much of a choice. There was no microwave for the instant oatmeal, coffee was cold, old bananas , not much of fruit and bread selection, sausage was overcooked. I would not book in this hotel again

Unfortunately the walls are super thin. We could hear people walking in halls, conversations early in am of neighboring rooms. Not good. All else was great.

Loved everything about this place very clean and quiet. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely return.

Everything was great and fancy to my liking. Receptionist and staff were friendly.

Was not given the room I booked. I was placed in a handicap accessible room. When I requested another I was told that due to my booking they could not switch. The parking lot was very compact and only a limited amount of parking. Mattress was extremely worn and had multiple places where the springs had obviously given out. Ended up sleeping on the sofa bed.

Good Hotel

This was a good choice near I-95 as we drove south back to southern FL. Their website does state there is a $3 charge for parking which I’m not sure I understand but it’s certainly doable. Our room was spacious, bathroom was clean and the bed was very comfortable.

Elevator didn’t work that day and we have to climb the stairs with our luggages upstairs, and they didn’t even have any employer to help us while the stairs was very dirty and smell.

My Family’s stay was great, even though we only booked for one night. It still was great. When we come to Jacksonville Fl this will be we’re I’ll be booking at. The price for one night is was great as well. The best about our stay was when we was leaving out to head back home. One of the Housekeeper’s Ladies told my 3 year old Son nooo you can’t leave us just yet and told us to have a safe trip back home.

Very clean and well kept. The only negative was the breakfast. Many of the items were out and it took a while for them to get replenished.

Staff was real helpful

We are a family of five and often need a room with a soda. Most of the time, the sofas are uncomfortable, but even more uncomfortable to sleep on. Our room had a spacious, comfortable sofa and our daughter didn't mind sleeping on it. Our room was very clean, comfy and quiet. Breakfast was pretty decent.

Just have to pay $3/ day to park but plenty of space. We were here for our wedding reception and the accommodated our guests. Very friendly staff and clean hotel. Loved the breakfast, it had bagels, waffles, yogurt, fruit and cereal. Coffee and juices too! Very nice, love the area, would definitely stay here again when we come to Jacksonville!

Great quality, good price

Checked in around 10 pm, but there was still someone manning the check in desk. Was friendly and made sure I knew everything I needed to know about the hotel. Bed was comfortable and the room was spotless. Wish I had been staying longer than a single night.

The front desk woman was very nice and helped us the same night after check in. Housekeeping was not very friendly and seemed like they were bothered a couple times we asked for assistance. Overall the property was beautiful! Breakfast was decent! Front desk associates friendly! Pool was fun!

This was a very clean hotel, and my room was lovely. The person that checked me in was absolutely amazing! The breakfast was absolutely horrible. All they offer is fake (and cold) scrambled eggs, cold sausage patties, packets of instant oatmeal, and a small container of vanilla yogurt. The hotel fees are super expensive, so I expected an outstanding breakfast. I was super disappointed to say the least.

There was only two towels in a 4 person room although we confirmed 3 adults and a teen. There was also no additional pillows or blankets for the pull out bed for the additional people.

Very nice staff and room very clean. Was very convenient to testing site for a very important board exam. Great restaurants nearby. Check in guy (sorry can’t remember his name) was very friendly and Tammy was exceptional! Would definitely stay there again.

To charge 3.00 a day to park your vehicle seems a bit like price gouging. I was surprised. But staff made by up by being very nice especially the maid service. I’ve small thing was a teeny bar of soap to wash and shower. I had to buy extra soap.

Family trip

Came up for a Jaguars game. Had plenty of room for the 5 of us. Quiet, friendly staff and food close to hotel.

This property did not hold up to the brand name. Original room had sticky floors, broken bathroom door, "smartv" didn't work properly, and tub was clogged with water. Informed the hotel about the issues, and my room was changed. Only to be put in a room with multiply stains on the floor, phone broken, tv didn't work, and bathroom mirror broken. Housekeeping never came to the room. I requested additional towels on the second day and was told they don't have any towels, rags, or anything available. The pool was also dirty. They did clean the top of the pool though. The employees were all nice

When we arrived I learned that the hotel elevator was out of service. This was a grave inconvenience because my husband recently had surgery and his foot was in a cast. I contact hotels.com immediately where a representative attempted to assist me in locating another hotel, however there were no hotels available in the vicinity that were equivalent to SpringHill (cleanliness, price, breakfast, etc). As a result, we were forced to make other accommodations for my husband and I remained at the hotel separated from my husband until Saturday when the elevator was back in service. I was offer a mere $100 credit to my account for the inconvenience.

Good location. The elevators were broken due to a lightening strike so we had to take the stairs to the 3rd floor. The room was Mostly clean and quiet. The beds are too hard and hurt our backs.

The stay was fine except that the elevator did not work the entire weekend. We were told at check in on Friday that it would be fixed later that night, but it was not fixed and we used stairs our entire stay.

The hotel was beautiful and nice for the price however when we arrived the elevators were not working and we had to walk up 3 flights of stairs we were not told of this prior to booking. They stated the elevators were down for 6 weeks. They had no sympathy for the customers, the night shift clerk a female was very stoic and unconcerned she was constantly interrupting my conversation with the desk clerk who was assisting me. Her attitude is not conducive for someone in that position but other than that the hotel was huge the room was clean and immaculate we did however have a clogged toilet upon arrival but it was fixed with no problem except the same woman interrupting the clerk again when he was trying to assist. The stay would have gotten 5 stars if it hadn’t been for the staff and the elevator.
