Great hotel

The room is smell bad and all the towels are dirty and smell bad

The room was much smaller than my room just a few months ago. We managed, but don't want that room again. Staff were great and friendly arriving and leaving. It's a great location.

The property is nice and close to shopping and restaurants. The Manager was great!

At check out, the staff was curt and condescending.

Very convenient location but the hotel is subpar. Not worth the price whatsoever. There were stains all over my bedding and food and dirt on the carpet. I wasn’t convinced that my room had been cleaned at all. Had it been it would have been a much better stay.

Bee cave is such a beautiful area! The staff at the hotel was so nice and the room was very cozy. Recommend to stay here if you’re in bee cave or hill country area!

Was a pleasant stay

Overall would never stay here again. there is no restaurant for breakfast etc even thou they imply they have a restaurant. Daily housekeeping not available we were told when we checked in. they even limit the number of towels in the room.. Obvious the hotel is managed with keeping costs low, provide zero amenities, and have very limited staffing.

I feel like this hotel catfished us based on their pics online. Bathrooms were filthy, mold all over the bottom of the dispensers, horrible attitude from the staff, they didn't give us our pet package, rooms were booked on expedia but then modified because they didn't have the room we booked, first night our room was supposed to have a view of the pool and didn't. Final charges were way higher than stated in the booking confirmation even though it said "total price with fees and taxes", horrible hotel.

This location is totally over priced. The carpet was dirty,our bed had been previously used and the sheets were not changed. There was mold groing on the shower doors. The bathrooms reminded me of hospital bathrooms. We paid for a top floor room and recieved a middle floor room. The hair dryer was super cheap and kept going from hot to cold air. I would expect much much more from a hotel like this. We would have had better accommodations at a Holiday Inn.

Needed a hotel close to my husbands hospital. It was perfect. It was clean , easy access & quiet. My husband needed to rest after his surgery and it was the perfect place. Will definitely recommend this hotel and would stay again!

Quick one night stay. The hotel is conveniently located adjacent to the galleria area offering dining and shopping options as well as a movie theater. There’s an additional shopping area behind the galleria area, and a HEB store nearby. I can’t express adequate appreciation for the hotel staff. They were kind and polite. The restaurant on the top floor was very nice with an outdoor seating area. The bed was very comfortable, and the shower was great! The room was of average size which was fine for our overnight stay. We did hear our neighbors while inside of our room. Overall, a great stay and would return.

It is located in a nice area. The hotel itself is similar to a Holiday Inn Express. I wasn’t impressed with the hotel itself after reading all of the reviews claiming it to be excellent. It was okay.

Family getaway.

We had a great time at the Sonesta Bee Cave. Our room was very comfortable and service was great.

Business birthday getaway

The area was very convenient located right next to a galleria with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby but also peaceful area to just relax. The hotel had hand sanitizer at all the elevators that made it that much cleaner and prevention of spreading any kind of illnesses. Nice touch.

I enjoyed it. The pool is beautiful and the restaurant/bar on the top floor is great.

Bee Cave Gem

Excellent property. Great area for shopping dining and entertainment (saw a free musical in their open stage). Safe and underground parking. Walked the area on foot and had a great pool, restaurant, snack area. 100% return when in the area.

We have stayed here twice and loved it both times. The hotel is lovely and the staff is great. We love the rooftop bar! Any time we go to Bee Cave this is where we will stay!

Love this area, close to Austin but not crowded at all. Great location to stay to escape the busy lifestyle of a major city while still being in a big city.

Everything was good only down side the pool closes at 10pm.

The property was outstanding in so many ways. What made the stay most memorable was the Team to take care of me. Yab was the host as I entered. His smile and attentiveness to my comfort and checking in was incredible. I then had the pleasure of meeting Jordan at the rooftop bar. She is a pro and so friendly. The next day Jon, the GM, gave me a ride to the golf course. After visiting with him I can see why the culture of the team is exceptional. Eli picked me up up and he was very friendly and again, attentive to my comfort and my day. He was very safe.Also, it is clear he wants to be a difference maker in the Team. That evening again at the rooftop bar..amazing views..Kia was exceptional in her creativeness and prompt and professional service. I later met Jessica who was excited that my visit was so fun and special. She certainly has the Team spirit and care. This is obviously the complete culture Jon has instilled. I took tons of pictures and walked away with great memories of this brief trip. My wife can’t wait to come to the property for a special trip since I bragged about how cool the people and property were. Go there! Thanks again to all the Team at Sonesta Bee Caves!

Sonesta never disappoints! I’ve stayed there several times for work the last few months, so when we were moving here and needed a hotel before our movers arrived, there was just 1 choice for me! Staff is always so accommodating, the rooftop restaurant is awesome and the rooms are spacious and clean! 5 stars!

The room was expensive for the size. The WiFi in the rooms was spotty at best. It seemed that something was blocking our 5G when we took the phones off WiFi. There is not guest laundry so not a good place for longer term travelers. There was also no breakfast provided. If you have small kids, they won’t understand only $5 pastries are available. We actually had bought food from the HEB for breakfast. Not ideal.

Great stay. Got upgraded to combo room. Sweet rooms and amenities!

Nothing was wrong during our stay but couldn’t help but feel our room was not worth the price. It was clean but didn’t seem any more luxurious than a normal hotel room. Service was very friendly.

The room and hotel were clean. The staff was friendly and professional. There were not enough pillows and the AC did not cool enough.

I stayed in this property for over a week paid just under $2000. And to my surprise, there was small bugs, kinda like fleas. I notified front desk and they immediately moved me over to a new room, but unfortunately, I had to remove all my belongings from the room at two in the morning. It was very inconvenient as I had to pretty much pack all of my stuff before I can get a different room. I am a VIP member with Expedia and I expected more as this is a VIP property. Parking garage downstairs smelled like The inside of a garbage can. I really hope somebody reaches out and makes this right.

Great stay overall. John at check in was great. Room was quiet and nice, pillows and bed were comfortable. The lobby, pool, and restaurant were beautiful. Only downsides were that the pool side lounge chairs were not very comfortable and breakfast quality was marginal.

Hotel and staff were great. Housekeeping was clearly not finished with the room before we got in. Missing some towels and some wrappers were in the floor, which tbh I should have complained about. Nice facility and walking distance to lots of shopping, and close enough drive to Austin.

This is a great hotel that is ideally situated for shopping and dining. Lots of great local restaurants are nearby. We really enjoyed our stay.

Really enjoyed the convenience of the parking garage with direct elevator.

More For Business Than Leisure

The staff- from the front desk to the restraraunt were absolutely amazing! Everyone was friendly and welcoming! I was disappointed however that there is no room service available and no true breakfast options other than grab and go items. For over $200 per night, I would expect more amenities. I think it is a better suited for business rather than travel for leisure or romantic get-aways!

Always a great experience. Very comfortable accommodations, clean & quiet. Parking is easy. The front desk staff is excellent and the bartenders too.

The room was so dark and the shower leaked all over the floor. Dirty glasses....no real breakfast option...limited bathroom amenities. For $300 per night, it was overpriced and under-serviced. On the positive side, the restaurant at the top floor was great but limited hours.

Hidden Fees

The hotel was nice, clean and comfortable. My issue was the fee of $19 per day for parking. Parking is in under the hotel, on the basement level. There is no security gate and only one camera at the elevators, so the $19 seems a cash grab at best. Its not like the hotel is in a major city. At check in they never mentioned the free parking across the way - walkable. Was there on the weekend and the only way to get fresh brewed free coffee was to get to the lobby before 7AM. Maybe I'm expecting too much, but how about free coffee regardless of time. They have Keurigs in the room, but lets be real, its not the same. Disappointed.

Front Desk lady that I personally dealt with was little to no help besides basic check in. Room was missing items (ice bucket, glass ware etc) and not only were batteries in remote dead TV was not in working order. Was given appetizer only vouchers at 9pm at night for bar. Could not use them for breakfast though. Breakfast was warm or cold items from a drawer. $4 water, $4 juice box etc. Horrible for a "higher class" hotel supposedly. Truly expected better from Sonesta.

The restaurant needs to open before 4pm. And better breakfast.

The staff were super friendly. Loved that parking was free and under cover. Very nice that it is walkable to shops, restaurants and the grocery stores.
