Although it was very convenient for the train station, walking to the major points of interest wasn’t convenient for older adults. We needed to take a taxi to where the restaurants, shopping and points of interest are located.

While the hotel and the room were fine I had difficulty finding the hotel due to the poor quality of your map and a map I purchased. The hotel is off in a corner next to the railroad station and the view of it is blocked by buildings to the east and north of the hotel. In your online profile of this hotel please provide a detailed street map showing its location next to the railroad station and a symbol showing the location of the hotel on the street it fronts on.

Easy access from the station platform

The hotel is great for the easy direct access to the station, the staff are very friendly and helpful, the rooms are spacious clean and have just enough furniture for a short stay. The bathroom lacks anything to hang towels or clothing on but was modern and simple. The breakfast was simple but all you needed. The bar in reception provided good coffee and reasonable prices for drinks. This is not the place to expect any views, but a great place to ditch the luggage without hunting in a taxi for the hotel and enjoy the delights of Verona.

About 5 min walk from train and bus station. Stayed in two connected rooms with family of 4. Hotel was in good condition and rooms generally clean, although shower could be cleaned better around caulking where mold was visible. But happy with hotel. If wanting to visit Verona city center there are buses nearby or it's about a 20 min walk. Friendly and helpful staff. Would stay again.

Area was awful. We just stayed because it was close to the train station. Hotel was nothing special, beds were uncomfortable and the hall was noisy.

Convenient location just steps from the train station but in kind of an industrial neighborhood. But once in the property it was terrific

Very convenient location. It's actually connected to the train station but we couldn't hear any noise from there at all. The Verona old town is about a mile away but that was easily walkable, available by bus, or there are lots of electric scooters to rent. Breakfast was decent and wifi was good. There is parking right at the hotel which is super convenient as well.

Very nicely appointed. Modern and clean. Extremely convenient location with direct access from platform one of the train station. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was ok - nothing incredible. Some bread rolls were still a little frozen in the middle. Only complaint is that they do not trust guests to be responsible with the air conditioning unit in their room. Ours would not respond to our input and was locked - to make a change we had to go reception who would make alterations from there.

Aside from the fact that we are American and would have liked the air conditioner to be more efficient, it was a pleasant stay.

The property is located next to the train station which was handy for our onward travel. The bus station is also very close and a short journey to the centre of Verona. The beds were hard but otherwise comfortable. Staff at reception were happy to provide drinks from the small bar when asked. The continental breakfast offered wasn't bad. All om a good stay in Verona.

No air conditioning. No tv in french. No acces on netflix pr orthers...

Not bad for one night stay. but that's it

Servicewise,the lady at the reception was quite unfreindly. We didnt expect 5 star hotel service from this hotel but at least she should have explained the breakfast hours, wifi passcode and a location of lift before we asked. On spect of the facility, inside seemed recently renovated. But the lift was too slow and somehow A/C panel in the room was malfunctioning.

Ideal Stopover

Brilliant location at station but totally silent room. Quick and efficient check-in and very friendly staff. Really comfortable and large double bed. Nice breakfast with helpful staff. Bathroom shower needs refreshing.

Fantastic city break hotel

We checked in early and left our bags. We were given great tourist advice and headed off into the city. Our room was great, comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was buffet style and more than enough options to satisfy us. Gluten free options too. Located beside the train station and 15 minutes to arena we could not fault this hotel. Excellent hotel and service.

Located short walk from main train station and 20 minutes walk from the city centre. There are bus stops located outside the station. Breakfast was ok. Hotel was very nice and rooms modern -tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms would of been a nice.

Pretty good

Rooms are ok and to be fair spacious. The location is next to the train station so I knew what I was getting in return by staying around there. Wasn’t expecting the nest location ever. But the hotel main areas requires attention. Dirty carpets throughout the hotel/ corridor. Lovely team though. But the shower was a joke. The water was splashing all over the bathroom it was hilarious. They need to take care of the showers. I had to clean it with my bare hands in order to shower and the water to flow nicely. I TOOK the before and after I cleaned the shower head picture SHAMEFUL AND LAZY NOT SAY EMBARRASSING. Note to the management: please manage !!!!!

Great location next to the train station

Chose the hotel primarily due to its excellent location next to the train station (ask for short cut to platform 1). Not far from old town - walkable but also regular busses from the station. Overall good condition, value for money at the price I paid, and good inclusive breakfast. Staff friendly and helpful. May benefit from reviewing policy for charging guests for just 2 hours' late checkouts.

Upkeep of the in-room facilities could have been better. The shower head was so clogged by sediments that the water spray went above the shower cubicle door and left the bathroom floor all wet.

Convenient hotel to historic Verona

I drove by car and there was parking right outside the hotel for a reasonable fee. It is in walking distance to the main train station. The breakfast buffet was excellent. There are nearby buses to the historic part of town, but I always walked from the hotel. It is not very far. The hotel was in a quiet area. I enjoyed my stay

Quiet, comfy and close to train station

Stayed in this lovely hotel for a couple nights in Verona and was very happy with the room. Sleek and modern- the room was quiet, comfortable and clean and the reception staff friendly and professional. The breakfast buffet had a good variety for the price and convenient before our long days of sight seeing. It’s 5 minutes from the train station and about 40 minutes to the center of old town- but you can rent a bike or take a bus if you’re not keen to walk. The complimentary luggage storage were a plus! Definitely will book again.

We only had a few hours here and had an early train in the morning so for us we wanted convenience and this was the place straight off the station and the desk was lovely bed was great and surprisingly quiet as it is basically attached to the train station. Definitely recommend this hotel and it ended up being a 20 minute walk to the center was safe and easy.

Family room stay

Excellent hotel - easy 6 minute walk from ferry stop. Nice large room, reasonable aircon, good breakfast. We would recommend for a quick family stay in venice.

One of the room shower was not working. When I ask the front they just said I am sorry. Not even discount etc.

Europe tour

Extremely convenient location if you're traveling by train. The hotel staff is wonderful. The bed was too hard for me but the pull-out sofa worked well.

Overall good value for money...being next to the station makes a difference, specially if you’re planing on seeing other towns nearby. The service was fantastic! Clean and practical... I’d just recommend to improve their Wifi as it was very slow, and maybe change the carpet if I’m picky...great shower

Perfect hotel for train travelers!

This hotel was perfect for a stopover from Milan to Venice. It’s the closest accommodation to the train station that you can find, but Verona is a small enough city where it’s still within walkable distance to all of the sights. We were able to walk to see Juliets house, the Colisseum, and went to several bars and restaurants in only a few hours. Hotel is recently remodeled and looks fantastic. Service was great, staff was friendly. Baggage storage was great as well, as we had a tour of a winery in the morning of checkout. Bed is a little hard, but that’s the only negative I could find about this hotel and city. Definitely recommend!

Lady at reception saved my holiday

Nearest hotel to Verona PN station, can't say I found it easily but it probably mentions it in the blurb - THERE IS A SNEAKY SHORT CUT FROM THE END OF PLATFORM 1. Hotel has a fresh and new feeling with touches of luxury without a massive price tag. Big Thank You to the lady working on reception, she came to my rescue when my flight home was cancelled, went out of her way to help and is a credit to the hotel. Best Hotel Receptionist Ever.

Right next to Verona Porta Nuova Station, but tucked away in a quiet corner. New with nice modern design. Very friendly and polite staff. Beautiful room. Very clean, comfortable bed. Strong WiFi. Buffet breakfast is nice. Good value. Highly recommended.

If you have a scent allergy, stay elsewhere

I advised the hotel of my husband's allergy, and the staff did their best, but the hotel's policy of spraying perfume throughout the hotel resulted in a difficult stay for us. We considered changing hotels, but there was nothing available around, so he had to suffer headaches for one night. There was no perfume on the bedsheets or in the room, but the curtains and carpets are infused with it. Perfume is sprayed automatically in the lobby every few minutes, so he climbed in and out of the window of our ground floor room. The staff on duty were sympathetic and concerned, but could really do nothing. Other hotels don't have to use perfume. Why does Sole? Aside from that, it is clean, modern and close to the station, so we had no other complaints, but you cannot stay in a hotels that makes you sick.

Modern hotel close to the railway station

Great location, only 3 minute walk to the railway station. Very helpful staff. It is a functional building but the rooms are clean and modern. I would stay again without any hesitation.

Comfort and courtesy

Nice, convenient hotel at the train station. On platform 1 facing the tracks go right along the platform until you see a small sign that says Hotel Sole. Follow the walkway about 1 minute and you will be at the hotel. Despite its proximity to the station, the room was very quiet. The hotel staff were friendly and welcoming. For our triple room we had 2 adjoining rooms. Room had all the usual amenities plus a mini fridge and safe. The hotel is about a 20 minute walk from the amphitheater, but it is a straight, flat, easy walk. Lots of restaurants there too, not too many around the hotel, but several inside the station. Check out was at 10:00 am, but our train didn’t depart until 11:30 that night and they let us store our luggage there all day. They even let us hang out in the lobby the last couple of hours and use their WiFi. Good continental breakfast with plenty of options. Would not hesitate to recommend.

Excellent location where the hotel is right next to the Verona train station. Also, you can take the bus in front of the train station to town which took less than 10 minutes . Very friendly and helpful reception! Very modern and clean room.

Great hotel in a poor location

Fabulous hotel, amazing service, but the station area is not at all nice.

The Sole hotel was a shiny new hotel that looked very smart. The staff were very attentive and tried to help as best they could. While it was right next to the station signage was lacking which meant we walked the long way. The heating was not working and airflow in the room deficient. We had to ask to be allowed to use the air conditioning to aid the airflow. The fridge did not include an ice draw and they were not set up for an ice bucket in the room. No flannel and combined shampoo conditioner was another disappointment. However the location and attentive staff would not rule out this hotel in the future.

Friendly , clean and comfortable .

The hotel was a little hard to find being ticked away behind a post office sorting building but once we found it we were pleasantly surprised. Very friendly and helpful staff ( all spoke good English) and were knowledgable about the area . The room was clean and comfortable however we felt the bed a little on the hard . Just under a mile walk into the main area of town but an enjoyable walk and finding parking in the center is close to impossible. So take sensible shoes . Definitely recommend this place

What a wonderful place to stay!

What a wonderful place to stay! We were greeted by a friendly receptionist who gave us lots of useful information. The room was perfect; spotlessly clean bathroom with toiletries, plenty of towels, safe, fridge with snacks & drinks and the room was a good size with nice high ceilings. The hotel is so convenient for the train station being only a 2 minute walk and we took the opportunity to visit Venice and Lake Garda. The centre of Verona is just a 20 minute walk away down a beautiful tree lined street with café’s and restaurants. The breakfast and bar staff were so friendly and we were sad to say goodbye at the end of our stay. Would definititely stay at the Sole Hotel again.

Great stay.

Lovely staff, very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Very clean hotel and great breakfast. As we were only there for one night, the luggage storage was good, allowing us to explore Verona until our train departure. Being close to the station made a very easy visit to the city, within walking distance with historical sites on the way. Family room was excellent, two rooms connected and private, very large, plenty of space, very comfortable beds.

Too close to trains no hot water

The room was small and dark. Large trains made the room shake. And no hot water was available during the evening for a shower. The hot water only became available in the morning. Breakfast was acceptable.

good hotel in Verona but....

hotel is located very close to the train station, however very difficult to find (it sits next to a parking area), the area does not have restaurants where to eat. Good size room, comfortable beds, large bathroom, A/C worked fine, safe & fridge in the room, several international TV channels, WiFi was so-so, sometimes good signal, others, not. Breakfast was OK, no hot foods, coffee was good. Morning shift staff at the Reception had a bad attitude, she was unpleasant and confrontational, answered back and did not show respect to the guests, had to talk to a colleague/supervisor over this matter. He apologized and promised to ensure this would not happen again. Stayed for 5 nights, the second day upon returning to the room at 14:30, the room was not cleaned. Overall a good hotel but the attitude of the Front Desk clerk left a bitter taste to our stay. Location is not the best as we found ourselves taking the bus every day into the city centre and again in the evening to look for options where to eat.

Good value and room was really nice / bed was super comfortable. Great location if travelling by train as it’s positioned right next to the train station. 20 min walk from the centre of Verona and has parking for €10 a day. Really pleasant stay.

Great Option for a Short Stay

This hotel is located at the train station so it makes it super convenient if you will have a short stay in Verona, which is what we did. We were there for only one night. We found the staff very helpful and friendly. The rooms are basic, but also very nicely decorated. The beds comfortable and the rooms clean. The walk to the Verona town center is about 10 minutes and flat. The first time you walk it, ask the hotel for directions. If we were to stay a night or two in Verona, we'd pick this hotel again. Side note...public transportation in and around Verona is very good and easy.

Great stay with easy access to transportation

A very good hotel to stay at especially if you arrive by train as it is joined near one end of platform one. Spotlessly clean, great reception staff and good facilities. A walk into the city centre, takes about 15 minutes.

Good location and hotel for brief rail visitor

Very nice hotel. Good breakfast. Do check with hotel directions from station - there is a slightly obscure direct entrance from the end of platform one, which saves a circuitous route via roads/pavements.

Very comfy hotel in station area

We wanted somewhere near the main train station & this was perfect. Lovely modern hotel next to the bus & trains which take you to the town in 5-minutes for 1.3 euros. Room really modern & comfortable with mini bar & great bathroom. Good breakfast, but less choice if you are vegetarian. Staff very friendly and helpful. The hotel is kind of hidden round the back of the station but once you know where it is there are various cut-throughs to get you back in 1 minute to save you walking the long way round.

Clean, modern, friendly and professional staff; convenient to station and a short ride to the tourist attractions. The only problem is that it's hard to find unless you have a car.

Right next to train station, but quiet! Refitted in recent years, good place to stay. We stayed 1 night on way to another place, great for this purpose, if travelling by train!

Good customer service

Very good customer service even before our stay. An email giving detail direction to locate the hotel was sent to us before our check-in that made it very easy to find the hotel when we got off from the train. Really appreciate such thoughtfulness.

Hotel was very clean and comfortable for our family. The staff was wonderful and helpful. The location is super convenient to the bus station and train station. While other activities may be further away, you can always take a bus if you don't want to walk.

A little Gem in Verona

Amazing exprience with this hotel that is close to the bus pick up and train station which met our needs of a night's stay. Breakfast included was enjoyable. The staff was on hand and very helpful in making our stay a memorable one. Wish we could have stayed longer in Verona!!!!

Verona is worth the visit!

We liked this hotel a lot. The people at the front desk were very nice and helpful. It was very clean and nicely laid out with a good elevator. We did have a hard time finding it as access to it isn't clear (there are actually two access points, one of them very close to the train station). After a lot of walking and asking a third person (this time in a different hotel), we found our way to the hotel (they will meet you at the train station to show you the way and I suggest you accept this offer when you first arrive). Breakfast had a good array of offerings, but get there early for a seat and before some items run out. Wifi worked great! There is a small 24-hour bar. Verona is a lovely town and we would visit there again -- and we'd happily choose to stay at this hotel again.

In the station but modern and with character

I love the location, and it was modern and fabulous. Only drawback was that the breakfast was kind of a disaster area when we got there. Items had run out and all the tables were messy. Staff came to tend; I'm sure it had been a random rush.

Comfortable, clean budget option by train station

Minimalist, comfortable and clean place overall. Love the room's high ceiling and spacious modern bathroom. The only thing I didn't like was the gray carpet; stains and blemishes were very apparent. Breakfast was a simple but satisfying affair: individual packages of cereals and breads and crackers; hard-boiled eggs, whole fruits, cheese, deli meats, variety of croissants and beverages. The breakfast room itself was a small nook, but it was bright and organized. The location is kind of gritty looking, being next to the train station. But we didn't mind it for our two night's stay. Proximity to the train and bus station was more important for us--the walk was a mere 5 minutes. Also an easy walk to the historic center.

Chic boutique hotel !

This lovely hotel is just steps from the Verona train station. It is a very modern and chic hotel. The staff speak English and are friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and the bathroom was stunning. Only one small complaint the bed was quite firm and not the most comfortable. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to a friend.
