Excellent location. Hotel above a public transport station.Located close to many good restaurants and Chinatown. Large room. Nice view. Excellent bed. Excellent breakfast.

Lovely hotel, friendly helpful staff. It’s near a MRT line so easy to get around. 10min walk to some lovely restaurants and not far from the Marina. Area is quite away from the main hustle and bustle.

We loved our room and the amenities in it. Staff are welcoming and accommodated our needs as much as they could. The location was perfect for our plans with the MRT station right outside our doorstep, a variety of dining options are readily available. Very well presented. Highly recommended! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I cannot comment about the property conditions because I was unable to stay there. I can give high praise to the staff for their professionalism. At the last minute, my husband and I were unable to come to Singapore. I called the Sofitel to explain our situation and even though we were within the cancellation period, the hotel allowed us to cancel our reservation without penalty. We were very impressed and will definitely stay there the next time we are in Singapore.

We really enjoyed our stay - the breakfast choices were amazing. The room was very clean and comfortable. It was very easy to travel around Singapore with the MRT below the hotel. Would highly recommend people to stay at the Sofitel.

It was excellent service and management

Room was too dark. Libby was on the fifth floor. We had to take the elevator twice to get to our room.

Thank you guys for making our stay a very satisfying one, the hotel felt great this time around, we enjoyed our stay to the fullest. Staff went out of their way to be helpful and the cherry on top was allowing us to check out at 16:00 since we had a flight late in the evening.

Nice hotel in a good place

Nice room, pool, breakfast buffet, and restaurant. Beautiful decorations!

Underwhelming stay

Check in was horrible and took longer than it should. Breakfast was expensive and lacking in quality. Pastries were not up to standard to a 5 star hotel. Room was spacious but lack in amenities. Shower caps and cotton buds had to be requested. Gym was very small and don't have heavier weights. Pool was overcrowded.

Great 3 days

We spend three nights at the Sofitel. The hotel was wonderful and very conveniently situated.

Excellent hotel. Staff well trained and helpful. Good value for a hotel of this quality. Slight downside is the lack of guest parking. We had a staycation and ended up spending quite a bit on parking in the city centre.

Great location, average service

The location of this hotel is excellent, comfortable hotel design but service could be better in terms of timeliness, and sufficient manpower. The room will only be cleaned after 4pm if they have high check-ins, also for the gyms/ pool access there are insufficient service staff to do the key exchange resulting in extended wait/ queue.

room is very spacious, it has a large working area, big bed, large toilet with both shower and bathing area, and still can have space to do yoga. the room is new and clean. it has a large window with good view to the swimming pool. very comfortable. really enjoy the time in the room listening to the music.

Excellent stay!

Apart from a dead fly stuck to the side of the milk flask at breakfast, the power trip to the toilet lighting, everything else was excellent.

Our staycation

During our checked in, was slow, & we r also Accor membership but was told that we can’t used Accor membership benefits due to third party booking, late checkout was not given as per our requirements, the room was given at 12xx was requested because our friends was a platinum Accor membership (he was given 18xx) Hotel stuff mentioned that day was fully booked not able to give us on the same floor with them, the hotel room we stayed, was weird- middle of the night - room light was automatically light up every 1 hour, we were disturbed & disappointed, next day during our morning breakfast we cannot go in unless everyone was available & we need to wait stupidly outside the restaurant & crowded with guests, defeat the purpose. We hope the hotel management can look into all these & flexibility about third party checking in thanks

One night staycation, okay-experience

Stayed during phase 2 of Covid with my husband, overall stay was decent. Rooms are clean, toilets are big but really stripped of amenities, one bottle of water each, and just one set of shower amenities - everything was stripped to the bare minimum. Understand the need to only provide the necessities but for the price paid, I’d have expected slightly more from them as well. Perhaps another set of pillows? Parking isn’t provided too which I find ridiculous for a hotel. Gym is small but pool area is nice. Service is good and staff’s friendly. Very accessible to food/cafes.

Big comfy bed.

Room is big & bed is comfy. Dislike the pillows without actual holding volumes. Lobby is located at lv 5 & consider quite small. No chance go swimming in pool due to rain so can't comment. Overall, location is good as hotel is above train station and have many eateries around.

Loved the stay!

Super impressed with this hotel. Staff were super professional yet exudes a warm vibe. Despite the measures put in place because of the pandemic, staff tries their best to be accommodating to us. Every request was promptly made and with a smile. Super love the positive vibes, rarely found in a business hotel. Kudos for that! Room was big and comfortable, can't wait to return! Location was superb as well, with the train station a few steps away and a starbucks below. Thanks Sofitel for such a warm hospitality!

I enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend this hotel.

My stay here was truly fantastic. Wonderful location, directly on top of the MRT, but you don't hear or feel it. New facilities, quiet and clean rooms, comfortable beds, amazing breakfast. All the staff are so helpful and friendly. The housekeeping staff, especially Joseph, are incredible - so attentive, observant, and on top of everything. This is my new go-to hotel in Singapore for sure!

Service , room and facilities are TOP notch! We stayed here for a staycation and it actually felt like a vacation! The service was amazing and the details the staff takes care of are great! Room was beautiful and the bed was very comfortable! Will definitely book this place in the future !

The room, the attention to detail and service were all exceptional. Lovely pool too! This is one of the nicest hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Hard to fault, but I would like to make one small comment or suggestion - it would have been brilliant if we could have had an earlier checkin. I had asked twice before our arrival but unfortunately this wasn’t available. We arrived mid-morning after a 13 hour flight and just wanted to lie down! In a city like Singapore where people are coming and going 24 hours a day it would seem possible to develop a system which is more flexible around the checkin and check out times? However, this didn’t detract from this being a stunning hostel!

Serene hotel

i initially booked this Hotel for a conventioN in Suntec City Convention center due to it’s “nearness“ to the venue. But it is appx a 20minute walk! But since the MRT is conveniently located just a few meters from the hotel and one only need to traverse malls to get to the convention center, the walk wasn’t that bad. The hotel is tucked in a quieter area of the city and is surrounded by parks and greenery. Its near “Japan town” as there are a lot of Japanese restaurants, cafes and groceries in the area. The hotel is still fairly new so it’s still clean and not a lot of people know about it. The pool looks great even if I hadn’t had the time to swim. Overall, this can be a hotel one can have some R &R.

Amazing Sofitel!!

I stayed at Sofitel City Centre for 4 nights. This hotel has met my expectations and more. They made my stay extremely comfortable. Staff are all very friendly, helpful, and courteous. The hotel room is beautiful and spacious. Attentive little gestures were presented here and there (such as providing little pastries and sleeping tea during nightly turndown service), made it memorable and welcoming. The convenience of the hotel's location (which is right on top of Tanjong Pagar Station) and the ease to access different eateries and hawker centres made it an easy choice for me to stay at Sofitel again in my next visit. Merci, Sofitel!

Upgrade the housekeeping staff for the Hotel .

Service is good , only housekeeping is bad , when I check in , I requested to change slippers every day , but they never do it , and also last day housekeeping not yet put anything in our room , I complained to the on duty manager, she is very helpful and make sure that everything i need is there .

Sofitel does not disappoint

The hotel is modern, clean, and in a great location. There is a MRT station right next door. Please note that there is another Sofitel not far from this location. Our cab driver dropped us off at the other location at first. This location is in a better and quieter neighborhood than the other one, with great restaurants within walking distance.

Amazing Stay right in the City Centre

Great everything to sum up! Located right next to a MRT station, plus Maxwell Hawker Centre is only in 5 mins walking distance, what more can you ask for!

Staff we extremely helpful and attentive. Very clean and modern rooms.

Uncomfortable and annoying for late service. There was a problem at door lock system. Staff actions were late and service wasn’t good. I had to wait outside twice and change my room at late night. I felt like not being deserved.

Strategic location, MRT just step down. Also there are 711&Starbucks near. Foodcourt is just down below. Close to Orchard and Marina. Comfortable beds, sapcious room. My daughter got compliment doll and coloring book. The swimming pool is not that big, but very artistic & beaitiful. Many choices for breakfast, so yumm. Thank you Sofitel. Everything was prefect!

Fantastic experiences! Will be back when I visit Singapore!

The shower drain did not work and flooded the bathroom. It took two request to get it fixed. The hot water never worked after complaining many times. I would get interrupted when the do not disturb light was on. The business center printer did not work and too a long time to get somebody to fix. Overall a very disappointing experience given the price and other options in Singapore

Our Best Hotel Experience Ever

Right from getting out of the car till getting back in again 2 days later the service was Amazing from the staff. Absolutely a wonderful hotel and highly recommend it and suggest that you organise a limo collect from the airport to the hotel for $125 as the hotel give you extra benefits through your stay.

The pool was beautiful and a welcome relief in the Singapore heat.

Very Comfortable Stay

The hotel is in a good location, nearby to many local shops and right above an MRT (subway) station. The hotel itself was in very good condition, clean and bright. The staff was very helpful and went out of their way to accommodate every request. Housekeeping was quick and efficient. Facilities at the hotel are very nice. The outdoor pool was great. There is a small gym in the hotel, but they have an agreement with an extremely nice Virgin Atlantic Fitness facility which is next door, accessible by covered walkway. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this hotel.

Stay Here In Singapore!

Amazing stay! Perfect location and beautifully appointed rooms, lobby, pool, fitness center, and food. The brunch is spectacular, and the hotel is centrally located right next to several hawker food centers. Perfect place to stay!

We chose Sofitel Singapore city hotel for our honey moon - we liked that it was a new modern hotel with a great breakfast(so we hoped). Areas of concern... - Cleanliness of the rooms: mainly dust and the lack of vacuuming in the rooms. On our first night we noticed toe nail clippings by the bedside table - it was disgusting and gross! not what you want to see in a 5 star hotel especially in a suite! Sadly, even though the room was cleaned the toe nail clippings remained untouched during our entire stay. - Air-conditioning: The AC being on the rooms felt very stuffy and either too hot or too cold. The AC in the rest of the hotel was way too cold that it felt too uncomfortable to sit and stay in the lounge or breakfast areas - to the point I had to wear a jacket and long trousers just to visit the buffet breakfast. The combination of the two issues above left both me and my wife with a cold - runny nose, headache and constantly sneezing whilst in the hotel. This was only made bearable by taking strong anti-histamines, even then we felt too uncomfortable in our room to enjoy the suite. This issue was not isolated to us, we spoke with other guests who were suffering with the same issues. -Breakfast: Disappointing to put it bluntly, with no regards for allergies and a lack of vegetarian foods. All the food felt as though it was out of a packet or frozen.

Wonderful Hotel

Fantastic hotel - this new hotel in Singapore had wonderful rooms, modern, spacious and quiet. The beds were very comfortable and the buffet breakfast had a large selection of choice. The service was excellent, and the staff very friendly. The only critisism would be that the carpets needed a good vacuuming. The hotel is situated on top of the Tanjong Pagar underground railway station, making access super convenient to the city and airport (cost just over $1 to get to the airport!!!). If you are planning on staying in Singapore, consider this wonderful hotel, it is worth the money. And the swimming pool is gorgeous! There is also a Virgin Active gym attached to the hotel, convenient if you want to workout. In-room dining was spectacular as well.

Good modern hotel

New modern hotel. Professional staff who care about guests. Breakfast buffet good. Beds too soft (I think most Asians prefer firmer mattresses). As common in most new hotels, the room was a bit dark.

The mattresses are already sagging. The base of the bathroom basin tap has yellow ring around it. It’s a pity considering that the hotel is basically very new.

Hotel is amazing! Location was perfect right on top of the MRT and the service staff was very attentive definitely a 5 star hotel. Special mention to Andrew who looked after us on check in providing us with a room after our early morning flight. Will definitely be back!

Wonderful Stay in Sofitel

It was a staycation with my friends at Sofitel Singapore City Centre for 2 days 1 night. We had a wonderful experience celebrating my birthday there. We were amazed by the modern design of the room that was exactly same as the picture posted in the website. The room was big with extremely comfortable king sized bed and it has a luxurious marble bathroom with Lanvin toiletries and bath tub. The location is greatly convenient, just beside Tanjong Pagar MRT. This was one of the reason we chose here as there were many nice restaurants nearby. We would definitely come back again!

Nice new hotel -- best experience in Asia. Worth the money for 5-star service and facility. Close to major areas and easy to get around.
