The property was very clean for the most part. Some wear and tear in the bathroom and the sheets had a slightly smoky smell to them, but the bed was comfy and it was very quiet. There was no bottled water in the vending machine, but there was fresh water in the lobby.

Nice place to stay! Quiet and clean rooms. Didn’t like that when we arrived there was no one at the front desk, had to call them on a phone. But I get it they can’t sit at the desk all the time. Pool area was nice but the hot tub could have been hotter, it was like taking a warm bath.

Very nice & comfortable. Staff was great & helpful, the only issue we had was our room keys. We had to go get them reprogrammed ALL the time. That was the only downside of this hotel.

My wife stayed here with her parents her dad has alzeimers and the staff was very accomidating helping to watch him and help him out ( he likes walks) when he didnt remeber where he was ! That speaks volumes on the kind of employees that work here , we will stay here everytime we are in bismark.

Good stay. The room was clean and upon request extra coffee and towels were delivered. Also the rooms are cleaned after the third night of stay. Shampoo and conditioner dispensers in the showers, lotion dispenser in bathroom. I was on the third floor, king room— wasn’t noisy. I also had the AC fan running at all times for white noise. I really liked the fact that they had a laundry room (one washer and one dryer, $2 each) with detergent and dryer sheets provided by the staff. The rooms aren’t that large, but I didn’t spend much time in the room besides winding down for bed. Unfortunately, the TV was cable with tv guide-not smart tv like at best western. As for the breakfast, they had a bunch of options… I eat pretty clean so I only had the scrambled eggs and hard boiled eggs. (Actually just took to my room to eat later in the afternoon/evening after work. But I noticed they have fruit, bagels, pancakes, and a few other things that I can’t remember. All and all it’s a good stay. If the price is right then don’t hesitate. So far ive stayed here, at Best western, and Fairfield suites. They are all good stays, clean/ nice staff. I would rate this as the best breakfast and good location, only one with laundry… bed was very average. Fairfield suites was my favorite room (large, most comfortable bed and clean), best western was also a good location, had a smart tv but the room I got had an odd sent.. just basic but good. If the rates are good here then go for it!

I reserved a room the 6 days before my stay. When I went to check in the night of the stay, the room I had reserved was not available. I was offered a room with 2 queen beds rather than the King room I wanted. I also was offered a king suite for an additional fee. There is a reason why I reserve a room in advance. It is so I get the room I want. The hotel was nice, we liked the breakfast and the cleanliness of the hotel. I just wish I could have had the room I reserved.

Family stay

This hotel received a 9.2 rating but I felt that was pretty high and did not match my idea of a 9.2. Front desk staff were very nice, pool/hot tub was what I would consider kept very well. But the room, it was ok, some grime on the bathroom door and shower wall, bathroom outlet did not work, room felt small, and bed for me was not that comfortable (other 2 family members felt the bed was comfortable). Breakfast was not to my husbands or mine liking. Very limited selection and the same every morning (3 days). Review only allows full stars so I gave it a 3 but would really say a 3.5 more accurate.

OMG Jason at the front desk was going in and out smoking and could not stand still. He met a couple girls in a car in the parking lot. A while later he came pounding on our door my gf answer it and woke us up at 10:30 at night. He told my gf he smelled someone smoking and thought is was us. I don't smoke so I got up and checked and there was no sign of smoke smell. I went to the front desk and he started screaming at me and said to leave the hotel. I called the police for protection and we left.

The Sleep Inn was a nice hotel especially for the price. The breakfast selection was great as well.

This was the perfect hotel for a short stay

Everything was amazing except the pool being non functional, we booked this hotel for our family to have a pool weekend so it was a huge disappointment when it was empty.

Hotel was very nice. We only had one complaint, and that was that one of the beds in our room had sheets that were full of black lint, black specks, and may have been unchanged. We called the front desk, and they came up with clean sheets. They apologized after looking at the sheets and left clean sheets for us to change our own bed. This was a little disappointing.

The hotel was nice and we mostly enjoyed our stay. The only bad thing was the pool was shut down due to a selfless guest who vomited in the hot tub. This was not managments fault and explains why I gave the hotel a good overall rating instead of excellent.

Friendly staff! Clean, comfortable, quiet, great breakfast. Pool area is very well taken care of & lots of fun (depth ranges from 3 to 5 feet). Only complaint is our room lighting, which was daylight bulbs, soft white lighting would be a much better option. Would definitely stay here again!

Good simple stay

This first room was not cleaned-but they got us into a secondary room right away. Bed was not very comfortable. Otherwise it was a decent room for the price for a quick overnight stop before traveling on.

Everything was great, if I had to comment on an area of improvement it would be the chair in the room needs to be replaced. There isn’t any support left in it , so the comfort isn’t there. Otherwise the staff kept up with a very busy weekend. And I appreciated the friendliness as well. Thanks

This hotel was a good location to shopping. The beds need updating however. They were worn and uncomfortable.

The Breakfast buffet was horrible. The Hot tub was cold.

Nice clean place

Nice clean place, beds were firm, but comfortable, pillows soft and front desk was very nice and helpful. Breakfast was great the next morning also. We would definitely stay there again.

A nice, quiet place to stay

Beds are clean and comfortable. Bathroom was a bit less clean than I'd prefer but could just be that it is aging - shower showed some grime in corners. The iron didn't work in the room. It wasn't imperative I had one so I didn't report it to the front desk (only because any time I went past - no one was there). Otherwise, all employees are friendly and helpful when I encounter them. Breakfast leaves a bit to be desired. More options as far as fruits would be terrific.

Your staff was very kind. The parking lot (heck the entire state) was covered in ice. I was having trouble slipping and one of your staff came to help me into the building. I thought that was going above and beyond what he needed to do, but can't tell you how much I appreciated it!

The bed was very comfortable and the staff was friendly. I also appreciated that the hand sanitizer containers mounted in the hall outside the elevator were working.

Check in was not great. Trying to gind the place with the linked map was a nightmare. Then the guy at the front desk couldnt give me info on the price or a receipt because I booked with Expedia. The shower wouldnt get hot, so he came up and somehow got it working. It stayed warm for 1-2 minutes and Inhad to rinse conditioner out of my hair with cold water & rinse off real quick. Then, cakled front desk to explain it still didn't work. No apologies AT ALL. Just a sigh... like I was annoying him about taking a freezing cold shower. 0 out of 10.

This is my favorite hotel to stay at in Bismarck when I'm traveling for work! Great water pressure, comfy beds, good equipment in the gym, pool and hot tub are clean, staff is nice, and breakfast has decent options!

Lackluster

Between the attendant not being able to find my reservation (ultimately NOT a problem with the hotels dot com app or their representatives but a property specific issue), I ended up having to cancel my original reservation and book directly on site at a higher rate for a lesser room. Room was tidy and clean, soaps in the bathroom were nearly empty, with a lack of carpet or rugs in the space I could hear all of my neighbors echoing around their spaces, and the mattresses were stiff and cheap spring feeling. Disappointing for a property I thought would be nicer given the overall rating.
