Breakfast was not as posted. Rooms wre clean
I have loved the whole experience!!!! The check in was great, gentleman at the desk was very nice. The room is better than I could have hoped for!!! We love it 😊
Cheap and still not worth it
The first room we were given was musty and smelled of mildrew - it was disgusting! Thankfully they moved us to an ok room. Won't be staying here again.
Everyone working here were very nice, the room was clean and affordable. 😊
It is a nice place.
First night bra found on floor next to bed. Toiletries and towels partially used. No sofa/1 chair. Reported next morning (Sun). Reported again Mon. Left name & phone number with "asst mgr" (Allison) , with request that gen mgr call me. No call. Next day Keyless entry failed. No offer to change room. Next day situation explained to Carlos (always very friendly and helpful) and name & phone number left with request that gen mgr call me. She called about an hour later. My husband explained the situation and she said she couldn't believe that because she cleaned the room herself. My husband said I took a photo of the item before I turned it in to Allison. Mgr said no couch because she had to remove it to be cleaned. Mgr offered to refund 1 nights stay and move us to another room. We agreed that would be acceptable. Carlos said he'd have the room deep cleaned before we moved to it. Room seemed acceptable until I showered the next morning and put on my socks. I walked from the bathroom to the couch to put on my shoes. My socks were filthy from walking across the floor. I've since pre treated them and soaked them in bleach and still cannot get them clean. The breakfast provided was scant: bread, English muffins, could cereal, boiled eggs. No yogurt, waffles, fruit or even water. Had to ask for more bread twice. At checkout Allison was unable to figure out how to refund me for a night. Said she'd call booking agency and call me back, but never did. She was a great disappointment.
No place to sleep
Reserve and when you get there is closed. Not recomended ar all.
Basic accommodations at a basic price. Was all that was advertised.
Liked everything about property! Didn't like the breakfast, their sign advertised waffles, there were no waffles. The bread for the toaster was too big for toaster. The person who was to open did not get to office until about 5 minutes to 7, so breakfast was late, not sure if employee was a last minute replacement or not. Would stay again to see if breakfast would be better as room was great
Incredible staff
Room was comfortable quite, nice staff, report hair dryer was not working ( built on the wall ) and ask to borrow one, she swap us to another room and said sorry for inconvenient, thank you
I'd do it again!!
The check in was quick and painless, staff was friendly and informative! Im a clean freak, and the room was clean (a couch cover wouldnt hurt), but overall cleanliness was up to par. It exceeded my expectation. "Dont judge a book by its cover"
Room was really smelly, like an old myseum with smoke and dust smells from 30 plus years.
Despite the low price, this property could not meet minimal expectations. On at least two occasions, breakfast was not available during the advertised timeframe. Housekeeping was neither consistent nor thorough. During my second week, I noticed that there was significant mold in the in-room coffee pot from a previous guest. In addition, the microwave did not work, and a new one was not provided even after asking twice. The staff are generally kind. The wifi was adequate. Lots of eateries near by.
Everything appeared clean especially the floor.the front desk clerk was very nice.ashe accommodated me getting to the hotel after 1000pm yo get checked in.Thatbwas very nice.Unfortunately we didnt get to enjoy breakfast for our short stay.We would stay again
Nice quite area
Great
Great
Enjoyed will be back while visiting family
for the price, it has pool and free breakfast
Good for overnight stay. Felt safe. Clean. Nice staff.
Check your sheets.
Clean sheets would’ve been nice. It was obvious someone had already slept in the sheets. But it was already too late to request for the sheets to be changed. This should be the main priority of any hotel/motel. I don’t think housekeeping would like to sleep on dirty sheets when they stay in a hotel.
It was a little out of my way but worth it!
Gr8 stay as we were traveling with a small dog. Spacious rooms. Comfortable beds. Mini-fridge, microwave and coffee maker an extra plus. Biggest plus: Budget friendly :)
Had a brief but good stay. Everything was clean and no issues at all. Would stay there again without hesitation.
Nice
reserved wrong hotel thought it was in another city. didn't have high expectations but I was actually surprised. Lady that checked us in was super nice.
Very dated
Dated property and furnishings, but clean and quiet. Everything worked.
Room was spotless, comfortable, quiet and spacious. Nice amenities like a fridge and microwave. Price was excellent. However, what happened to breakfast? Office was closed and locked. We could see through the windows that the breakfast area was not set up. Tried ringing the doorbell with no response. Left just after 7:30 for McDonalds.
Room smelled bad, the floor was dirty, and the bed sheet were dirty and had stains. Not to mention there was a weird needle in between the sheets. Microwave didn’t work well either
Staff super helpful; hotel was clean.
The hotel was clean and quiet given it was a Saturday night was inpressive. We booked 2 rooms for 6 of us and since we booked through hotels.com they had us down as 2 different groups. Alison at the front desk was amazing and helped uabget rooms right next to each other. The bathrooms were big which was awesome. It also had two sinks; very convenient for us who have 2 small children. The beds were comfy and clean and the heaters worked great. Over all a great night.
Desk clerk was very helpful, courteous and professional. Rooms were nice size. Clean.
Disappointed
Very disappointing, the Sierra Inn had a very good recommendation and certainly did not live up to expectations.
My negative comment would be the free breakfast. If you don't get there in the first 45 minutes of opening, you won't get breakfast. Staff kept the coffee pots full but everything else was gone and not being refilled.
Excellent
It was convenient, staff was great
Nice stay 🤗
The fan in the bathroom was broken and made a lot of noise. The chargers for the electric cars were for Tesla model no other adapters, that was disappointing. Overall the place was clean and comfortable. The service was wonderful and staff were very kind.
Poor customer service
In short: Customer service is poor and the owner is a lier. Here is my experience: The room was clean but could have been cleaner. The property was a bit disgusting. We counted more than a dozen canine dejections walking from the front desk to our room. The main issue we got during our stay is related to the EV chargers. We called before we booked our room and were told chargers are free of charge for customers. That's a little bit of a lie as indeed they did not charge us an extra 30USD that charge for non guest to use it but using it we got charged an astonishing 75c/KWh which is by far the highest price I've ever paid to charge my car. For exemple, in sierra Vista the utility company charge people 18c/KWh on average, charging my car on the highway cost 36c/KWh and it would have been free at the Hampton Inn nearby or around 24c/KWh at the Best Western down the road. I complained to the front desk multiple times, they told me the owner would contact me which he never did. Luckily one night the new front desk agent messed up as she called the owner in front of me so he had no other choice than to talk with me on the phone. He told me he will work on resolving the issue and also will refund me at least partially. All I have to do is send an email with all the details which I did two weeks ago. He never replied, I called the front desk three times and they confirmed the owner received the email. There is only one logical conclusion they just don't care about their customers.
Lots of breakfast choices.
No Remarks
Overall it was nice, however, the breakfast room was not kept stocked with hot food, the staff stood around chit-chatting more than restocking the food for the guests. They were friendly, but could have paid more attention. The first night there was a large group of people outside our room drinking and cutting up raw chicken on the back of their truck. Then once they barbecued they sat around in a circle in the rocks talking loudly getting drunk. We called the office and were told they had till 10pm to finish their party. Since their vehicles were gone later, I don't think they were actually guests. The a/c in our room didn't work very good and the toilet backed up but then went down, so we didn't report it.
It was a good room, comfortable beds. Staff very nice. The only problem is that they need to have things ready at 7 if breakfast is 7 to10 and keep an eye on making sure that they are checking once in a while, not wait for guests to ask for things that have run out.
Breakfast at seven?
Came in for breakfast at 10 after eight they were couples out waiting for the batter for the waffles. 45 minutes later we finally got so batter made.
This hotel is dated, but it was clean. It’s located right on a very busy street and it was very noisy so we didn’t sleep well. Cars are racing down the street at all hours of the night and early morning. If you’re sensitive to noise like me, it’s not for you. Or ask for a room at the back of the hotel. Not a real breakfast either, but McDonald’s is just up the street.
Older but clean property. We only stayed one night and left early in the morning, we’re not able to get ice for cooler because it was locked up, seemed odd to me that access to the ice machine has hours.
Somewhat ok
The room was very clean and very convenient to the Park where I was setup as a vendor at Art in the Park. Only really inconvenient thing was the lobby and food was not available until 7am. As a business person, I have to be out earlier and I missed out on a perk that was included in my room fee. Cost me additional money for coffee and a food because of it.
The entrance door had gaps around the door and did not feel like it was safe and we were concerned that small bugs/insects would enter the room. No elevator to carry luggage up to second floor. Cost of laundry facilities was expensive.
Nice, quiet place
Nice, quiet place. Small independent hotel. The ladies at check in and check out were very friendly. Good night's sleep in a king bed. Air conditioner and tv worked great. Nice pool, and small breakfast in the morning. Nothing fancy, but everything worked and it was clean. It is only 2 stories. No elevator, just stairs. The towels could have been bigger and thicker. Overall, nice little place. Also, they have 3 charging stations for EVs.
Bed was great Pillows and towels soft and comfortable Breakfast was un impressive
You’ll like this place.
Such a pleasant surprise! We needed a place to stay at the last minute & thought we’d have to take what we could get. But what we got was a very nice room at a great price. Thanks Sierra Inn!
3rd stay there and as always was great!
Dirty rooms with dingy smell and also smelled like weed.
Room was clean, Ac was quiet ( wish it would of push out more air) breakfast was limited to toast , waffles and boiled egg..if you like buns and grits you had it and a few others. We stayed 2 night the second morning we went somewhere else for breakfast.. Overall it was fairly descent. You got what you paid for.
The staff was nice and friendly. The room was clean and the bed was confortable. The grounds were clean. We didn't get a chance to try the breakfeast. The location was nice everywhere i wanted to go was within a very short distance.
Mini gateway
Took a mini vacation for my husband’s birthday and our stay was wonderful.
Beds very uncomfortable, room surface cleaning was below acceptable.Examples are dirty flat surfaces like, desktop, bedside surfaces and all similar surfaces. Rooms are very dated and Formica was peeling off surfaces. Bathroom ceiling had holes in ceiling from water leaks above our floor. But, as a good note the employees were very polite and helpful. The breakfast was sufficient, clean and fresh. Don’t expect a grand buffet.
It's a nice clean, quiet place in a nice area with very convenient access to local restaurants in Sierra Vista. It also offered a short, scenic drive to Tombstone on a busy holiday weekend.
The staff was very friendly and our room was very simple as it was exactly what we needed for our short trip. The only minor issue we had was our room had a very faint smell of smoke. Other than that I highly recommend this place as the breakfast was very simple and had variety and the staff when we checked in went above and beyond to help us get to know the area.
We were late getting to the hotel and everything including the ice machine is locked up. But otherwise it was a very nice stay. Clean friendly and a nice pool.
Superb Sierra Inn is my favorite hotel in the SE
Clean. Comfy beds. Two sinks. Bright lights in bathroom. Shower head was powerful. Low step to exit the tub/shower. Pool. Great breakfast 7 to 9. Biscuits and gravy. Fruit. Hard boiled eggs. Cereal. Waffles. Juice. Coffee. Quiet.
Nice family owned hotel at a reasonable price. Perfect place to stay to visit southern Arizona wine country. Also near Tombstone, Bisbee and Kartchner Cavern State Park among other interesting places.
Really friendly and accommodating staff. Breakfast offered a lot of options. Room was stuffy, like it has been smoked in at some point. I’d definitely go back though
The room was clean and the bed comfotable. The price was very good. We would stay again.
Easy to find, comfortable big rooms, well maintained property. Great place for the price.
Room was spacious and nicely decorated. Breakfast was skimpy. No meat, eggs or fruit.
It was as expected from reviews I read. Clean and not breaking the budget. I wish their coffee/breakfast times started a little earlier.
Great family owned and run hotel. Close to Tombstone, Bisbee and Southern Arizona wine country.
Smoky
The main issue is the room smelled like smoke at times, so all of my belongings had a smell of smoke afterwards. The room didn't look at that clean either.
This was the third hotel in the area , I stayed at. It was the cleanest and nicest of the three by far
Great Value
The Staff was very friendly and accommodating The room was very clean and quiet with a comfortable bed Will definitely stay again
Clean, clean, clean
We were happy to find no carpeting on the floors. In a dusty climate, hidden dirt and germs in a carpet are common. Our room was exceptionally clean and the sofa was appreciated when we watched TV in the evening.
Great stay
Hotel is very basic but clean. Rooms are large and have everything needed: frig, microwave, lots of towels, chairs, tables lamps, lots of outlets and even usb ports, luggage rack, hangers, coffee maker, etc. They even accommodated us for a later checkout. Staff very kind and thoughtful.
It is a basic motel but very well kept, clean, quiet and safe. We received an upgrade. Breakfast was basic but one didn't leave hungry. Would stay there again.
Our room was clean and everything was well maintained. And the ice machine even worked!
Nice place at a reasonable price.
We stayed at Sierra Inn for a three nights to visit our son at Ft. Huachuca. The Sierra Inn is fairly basic motel-style but clean and quiet. It was supposedly sold out during our stay but we didn't see too many people. Plenty of parking around the inn. We had a two-queen-bed room - they appeared to have recently replaced the flooring from carpet to plank. Beds and pillows were all OK - I am usually not too picky. We do like the fact that there are two sinks (one in the bathroom and one outside). Very convenient for families, as we also had our younger son with us on the trip. They did serve a continental breakfast - with bagels, cereals, waffles, hard-boiled eggs, & coffee - not really much to brag about but nice to have in the morning. Overall, we had a pleasant stay.
The people working therevwere really nice, but they put us on the second floor with some what appeared questionable (possibly jomeless) had shopping cart outside, and were up most of the nite smoking outside our room and talking
