I picked this location for the pool and the pool was closed for the season. Very disappointing since it was very hot when I stayed
See the list of my comments above. Property has aged poorly and it's not well maintained And lacks entrance lighting for night.
It's not a luxury hotel but it's cute, clean and comfortable. The location is close to downtown, you could even walk there if you like getting your steps in.
They said it came with breakfast and they gave us a brown paper bag with fruit and granola bar. Not my idea for a breakfast
Very old and run down. Very old, refrigerator, no hot water, water didn’t drain well in sink. Bathroom baseboard was broken and it just smelled old.
Cute and quaint.
Cute and quaint.
We stay here every year when we come for the Whiskey Row Marathon. Great price, people, and location!
The room and property were both clean and nice. The staff was excellent and helpful. The area was convenient to town. We especially liked the power friendly environment. I would recommend this place to anyone traveling with pets. Can't wait to go back again.
We had a fine stay for the night as we passed through town. Nothing particularly great or terrible. Room was clean and bed was moderately comfortable. Had all we needed for the great price.
It was nice. Not the best & not the worst. Staff very friendly. I recommend it.
Our stay at the Sierra in was not what we expect or signed up for. But I'll start with the positives. The location was amazing, theres a Safeway down the street and it's only a mile away from town square. The staff member on the night we checked in was very nice. We were running a little late and he called us to make sure we were still coming (very kind on the phone) and made sure we were all set up to stay. The check in process was quick and easy and he pointed us to our parking spot. The hotel is actually very cute. It's a little run down, but that's what we weren't expecting much from the cheapest hotel we could find. Now for the more negative side of our stay. The pool was closed, which is understandable with it being fall, but we were still a bit disappointed as it wasn't noted on their website or on Expeidia. Our first night was great, no complaints other than noticing the coffee pot, which was stained and looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years. My morning shower was nerly impossible as the shower was full of spiders and the ceiling was caked in dead bugs. The next morning of our stay we noticed poop, literal poop on our holey bedding that we had just slept in. When we checked out I showed the lady at the front the pictures I had taken from our nasty room. She told me the poop on our bedding was "burn from the dryer". It was not. It was poop. She offered a $30 discount on my $200 stay. She was also extremely rude. 3/10, would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
Cute room !!
We love it like is Al n Tricia so much we want VIP punchcard lol
We stayed there many times and it was great as always
We were there overnight for a cross country meet. We were there with family and all the rooms were clean. The grab-n-go breakfast was just that - granola bars and an apple. Both the woman that checked us in and the one that checked us out were smiling and friendly. I would recommend this for an overnight or two.
Nice and Comfortable!
Everything was nice and comfortable. The TV kept freezing up, but the office sent someone up to fix it. The Office was very accommodating and I would stay at this facility again!
Good location. Clean room. Quiet area.
Nice…
This property was very expensive for the quality and amenities that were present. The room was smaller than expected and the floor was dusty and dirty. The people were friendly, but the breakfast was a couple of snacks in a bag. Not what I thought I was paying this much for.
Nice
I loved this place will stay again if I can figure out the roku
Prescott HG
Very pleasantly surprised by the welcoming atmosphere on arrival and the room cleanliness and amenities which I didn't expect at the room rate....I have not been so lucky in the past with my economy choices. Everything was just right for my solo stay.
Quiet and quaint. Liked outside patio area for gathering.
It’s my go to place in Prescott. Several times a year.
Nice motel
Great homie motel. Nice continental breakfast. Room was nice and clean. We enjoyed our stay. Thanx.
I liked how quiet my stay was and the super friendly staff. Did not care for the cleaning sprays or chemical smells mixed with the smells of an older building. Not freah smelling and would not go away. Uck!
The property was close to old Prescott within walking distance great location.
A little dirty on the walls and bathroom corners, not much different than most hotels/inns. There were bugs in the room. 4am, my wife woke up and swatted one off that was crawling on her forehead. Not sure where it went, but we found a few others (different types, but not bed bugs) crawling around/near the bed and in the bathroom. Killed the rest and due to the time and being exhausted, tried to sleep a few more hours before checking out. Staff seemed genuinely sympathetic, but offered no compensation other than it would be taken care of by our next visit there. The bed itself was fine and clean. No other issues, but the bugs were enough.
Rooms were Clean, spacious and Quiet, the whole property was Quiet ❤️. Wish the mattresses were Better, from lack of sleep we all Woke up soar and aching. Property felt safe But all in all a Good stay.
The room was clean and comfortable. Much quieter than I expected being off the road. The staff was great, and I would stay here again!
Great inn to stay at it was clean and comfortable
Rates are economically fair. Rooms are adequate. For a place just to be able to rest for the night was good.
😃
Its a great place. Very clean with a very nice staff.
Good location, short drive to downtown and shopping. Quiet area. Room was clean and comfortable.
Good place to stay with a full breakfast. It was nice.
Lights outside doors were not on when it was dark. Remote for tv did not work. No cleaning service if staying multiple nights. Trash started piling up. The room was decent and clean. Comfortable beds.
I traveled for work and stayed at these cosy place, it wasnt anything fancy but it had what i needed, AC units are a little noisy but didn't really bothered me, i would live for them to provide more shampoo and bar or liquid soap. It says free breakfast but didnt get a chance to try it. I would definitely there again
This is very near downtown. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable/
The staff was very pleasant and the room was clean and comfortable. Bathroom is old and needs to be clean. deep cleaning and some fresh caulking in the bathroom, etc.
The people and the area of the property were fantastic. I wasn’t expecting the beds to be amazing but they were definitely not good at all. The bed my wife and I slept on were extremely loud and had tons of stops where we would sink to the bottom. Everything else was fantastic and wouldn’t mind staying there again. Maybe it was just that one bed frame which was the issue but other than that I would recommend if you were needing a place to sleep for a night or just a place to crash after a great night out of the town. My wife and I walked from the bars to this place which was about a mile away. Nothing crazy.
bathroom was a little small
Quaint property
My husband, myself and our 2 frenchies had a beautiful visit! Everyone made us feel so comfortable and welcome! Thank you!
Yes great
A lot of trash was in corner near our room. Looked really gross & not appropriate
Ok
The room was clean and nice. The bed was awful. There is nothing that can be done about the bed but replace the matress and box springs. Other than that it was a descent place. The staff was very nice.
Stayed here 2 nights for a staycation. The room we stayed at was great. Was a short drive to Whiskey Row and lakes. We really like that the parking spot is asighned to each room never have to worry about parking when your coming back.
So sorry to have to be negative but…. The room was so dirty. Two mice fell from a hole in the ceiling and we had to scoot them out the door. It was awful. The towels smelled like mildew. One light on a chain for the whole room. It was not a relaxed stay at all.
Not bad not great. Staff was great. Not a real breakfast
North cleanest pool area but pool was clean. Rooms are run down but clean.
The shower dripped and could not be stopped made noise all night. The bed creaked with little movement. The advertised breakfast was a grab and go bag a granola bar and piece of fruit is not a breakfast there wasn't even hot water to make tea.
One night was enough
Came to Prescott to get away for the night. Visited the Heritage Zoo and that was fun. But for this hotel not all the pictures on the website are exactly as what is portrayed when you get there. The pool area for example. There are no chaise lounges in the pool area. Just some plastic chairs and the bottom of the pool was filthy. No pool towels in the pool area. You have to go to the front desk to get them. There is also only one ice machine for the hotel property which is no where near our room. The room was clean but poorly maintained. I had to contact the front desk for a bulb so we can eat at the table in the room since that bulb was out. The bathroom ceiling fan/light was so full of dirt and visible dead bugs through the plastic lens. The carpet was a trip hazard since there were many ripples throughout the room. The bed was horrible. Was unable to get any sleep it was so uncomfortable. The tub faucet handle was so loose I thought it was going to come off. Otherwise the trip was nice but I probably won't stay here again.
I stay with my pup every year.
The property was beautiful and the staff was great, rooms just need a few tweaks to change the stay from good to excellent. A full-length mirror and better bathroom lighting would have been appreciated. Our room had no closet or place to hang clothes. The pillows were not comfortable, better pillows would have gone a long way.
Great hotel for the price. Excellent service. Might've been the fastest check-in I've ever had, and I travel a lot. Beds are good but can be better. Everything else was perfect.
Bad with a high price
first room was bad, dirty, had very un professional wood floor and had to enter hall way that was dark in the afternoon.. They moved us to an upstair room that was better. Would not stay there again
Moldy smell in the room. Loiterers at all hours. Do people live here full-time?
Not great
Absolutely no counter space in bathroom or room area or places to put soap, shampoo, etc in very small shower. No bath towels. Several lights did not work because lightbulbs needed changing. Front desk was helpful but it was inconvenient for me. Door key did not work in deadbolt from the outside. Deadbolt would not work from outside.
This was probably one of the worst stays ever. The room was absolutely disgusting and not cleaned at all. The floors had dirt all over and felt like it had never been swept or mopped. So much dust had accumulated under the beds and chairs. And to top it off, the sheets were not cleaned. Had hair all over, and makeup marks on the pillow cases. Being that no other place has any vacancies, I ended up buying sheets and towels because I could not trust they would have had a clean one. Stay away from this place.
We were elated
Good value for the price
After reading some of the previous reviews, I was hesitant to book with this hotel, but after the stay, I could not relate to the negative reviews. Based on price vs value, I was completely impressed. When someone wants to save money and just have a room with a bed and a roof, he cannot be too choosy as to what he gets. The unit met our needs for the time we were there and I would stay there again if the occasion presented itself. Future customers should disregard all the negative reviews and see for yourself.
This was an excellent stay.
We stayed in the mid week and the room was inexpensive. It was clean and quiet. Clear cable TV and cold air conditioning. Close to dining. Hope to stay there again.
Disgusting! Checked into our room around 3pm. Dropped off our stuff and returned around 8:00pm. Pulled the sheets back on the bed and realized they were never changed from previous occupant. Dirty with bug parts all over! We had to change rooms, What an inconvenience!
It was cute property, nice rooms beds were comfy staff was very friendly pool area was nice and clean . I would stay here again
Uniqueness is each individual room has its own quirkiness about it ;) Employees go above and beyond and are friendly.
Awesome place to stay
We had a nice time there and enjoyed the swimming pool
The location was good & quiet
Great staff
Between the smell of raw sewage and cockroaches, I do not recommend this motel. As a motel I expect some grime; however, waking up to the smell of raw sewage is just disgusting. I asked the manager for a discount since the stay was downright unpleasant, causing me to wake up stuffy, with a headache, nauseous, and sore throat, and the cheapskate shot it down instantly. The one redeeming quality of this place is the front desk personnel are very nice and there is a pool.
While the room was relatively clean I was disturbed when we found a bug in our bed and another one later in the other bed. I wouldn’t return for another stay.
We really liked this hotel. Quaint, quiet, and convenient. Office staff was really nice, room was clean. Bed was a bit small to share, but I'm used to a big bed and my daughter is a wiggle worm, so probably nothing out of the ordinary there. Super close to the city center, gas stations, and food. Would definitely stay here again.
Very nice rooms and large fridge.
Prescott Trip
Nice place with a Great price, we wish it would have a Patio to relaxing outside
Needed a room to sleep our family of 5 comfortably and found the Sierra Inn. Pros: -Great location, a straight drive to Whisky Row. -Had three beds to sleep our family of five -our room came with assigned parking -fridge and microwave Cons: -dirty room. Our feet were dirty from walking around the room. Crumbs and dirt behind all furniture. -A/C wasn’t efficient. Cooled one part of the room only.
There are spider webs near the ceiling in 3 of the 5 corners. And ants in the bathroom.
There were mice running in the walls and ceiling when we were going to bed. There were two holes in the ceiling from a previous patron who tried to scare them away but put the broom through the Sheetrock. When we notified the housekeeper she laughed and said we were lucky the mice didn’t come down through the holes! When we checked out in the morning the front desk person said she would make a note but was very uninterested and annoyed at the complaint. Terrible custysrrvice, horrible experience!
Looks like they are been working on rooms. Flooring and new sink and mirror looks new. More attention to shower area and plumbing. Clean and good sleep.
Room was clean and spacious. Very quiet and cozy environment. Staff was very friendly and accomodating. Very pleased with my stay!
Peaceful the lady at the office was nice.we jad a good time definitely a place to go to again.
Friendly staff
Terrible!!!
The darkest, dirtiest, stinkiest motel I’ve ever had the displeasure of staying in. You get what you pay for.
Check in and check out was the easiest I've ever experienced. Parking is a little tight if you're driving a big vehicle.
Granted, we did stay in the economy room but I still feel it could have been a little better. It was half modernized. The flooring is nice and it had a new toilet and vanity. The shower was icky but did have hot water. The bed was a conventional box spring and it made so much noise every time we moved it was impossible to get a good nights sleep. The floor was so slanted it made you feel drunk walking across it. The curtains are nice but the bedding is very cheap and so are the towels and wash clothes. I would not stay here again.
Price was cheap. I’m a firm believer in you get what you pay for. The staff was very friendly and super helpful. Bed was not comfortable though. The room was clean and it is close to a Safeway. The area when we walked around with the dogs was nice. I do love that it’s super pet friendly. Just wish the mattress was more comfortable.
Had an immediate negative experience the moment i showed up to check in. I came about 15 minutes late to office close, but there was a sign outside saying to ring the front bell in case of an emergency. I rang it, and the woman who came to "help" was clearly unhappy to be bothered. She spoke to me without even opening the door, which was really strange and felt really cold and dismissive. When she asked what i needed and i told her im checking in, she wordlessly pointed to her left. Mind you, it was past 10 pm. I couldnt really see, so i just asked what she was pointing at. Still without verbal explanation, she pointed again and i found a box for late check-ins that i wouldnt have known to even look for otherwise. Still, i apologized for bothering her and she was incredibly rude and simply walked away. I understand the frustration, but she only took 5 minutes to answer the door, so clearly she was still in the office. If she had to drive in from home for that, then id understand being annoyed, but she was literally right there on the premise. I dont appreciate being treated like im an idiot for not seeing a tiny box in the dark at 10 pm. Other than that incident, my stay wasnt noteworthy other than seeing a cockroach in my bathroom. That was disgusting. The rest of the staff was extremely friendly, especially the cleaning staff. I dont think I'll be staying here again in the future, but i do appreciate the rest of the staff for being kind.
The hotel has a cozy feeling, and it is right on the outskirts of pine trees. The "grab and go" breakfast made for a nice snack. The room was fine. The synthetic floor is nice, and the small refrigerator came in handy. The maid service needs to pay more attention to the corners in the shower, and they forgot/missed our room cleaning after the first night. The staff was friendly and professional.
It served our purpose to be in the area for an event but I didn’t care for lack of paper towels in kitchen, only one dish towel to use for everything. Also parking was super tight and we found used dryer sheets lining the floor by one of the beds. Bathroom very tiny. Had to cross Busy street to get ice. Also breakfast included meant a brown paper bag of a few things which I thought we were beyond the Covid restrictions. Also the lighting was sparse and if you opened the curtains anyone could see in. No where to sit outside your door. Half dozen dogs and cat. Basically it was still a motel feel and hoped for a bit more thoughtful touches. I split the $165 price however if I had to pay it all I would be more unhappy versus disappointed.
I called to request an early check in. My 3rd call finally got a person. He told me I had to call the morning of arrival. The morning of arrival on my 5th call, I finally just left a VM. Never received a call back. According to my reservation, I was supposed to be able to check in at 2 p.m., I arrived at 1 p.m. and they couldn't accommodate me, and said I couldn't check in until 3 p.m. the wedding started at 3 p.m. I went somewhere else to dress and get ready. Then they called at 2 p.m. to say I could check in. I checked in at 7 p.m. thankfully it was still light as there were 2 piles of dog crap on the stairs leading up to my room. There was no notice I would have an upstairs room with no elevator, and they were unable to accommodate me to the 1st floor. Im a great grandmother in my 60's, thankfully still able to do the stairs carrying my bag! The bed was comfortable but I would say the room could've used a deep cleaning!
Nice quiet little area and hotel. They are set up like little cottages. Staff was friendly. Quite peaceful in the area and everyone around there was friendly. They allow ypu to bring dogs ao thats a plus.
This place was disgusting! I was in room 9. There were booger's all over the sheets and comforter. The floors made our feet black, I moved the bed to plug in our phone chargers because it was the only one that was close and there was an obvious spill behind the bed. Under the bed was disgusting, under the dresser had all kinds of stuff under it. The fridge had food crumbs in it. The walls were coming apart, the main door had a huge gap in it and there was bugs that came in on us and were flying around while we were trying to sleep. The bathroom had black hair all over the floor and in the tub, blue toothpaste possibly on the floor in the corner and the fan didn't work either. I will never stay here I would not recommend it either. I only stayed because of the comments.
I had a wonderful stay!
I had a fantastic stay at the Sierra Inn! The staff was super friendly, the room was clean, and the shower was nice and hot. I will be returning and have recommended this to others.
Room and bath was very clean and remodeled! Smelled fresh! Especially like the wood floors! Smaller but plenty of room for our needs. Bed very comfortable! Fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. An ice machine close by is convenient. Quiet area and I felt safe. Price was the best in the area! I was very pleased with the whole experience!
Staff was wonderful and helpful. Room was immaculately clean. Thank you!
Close to town. - Lobby smells like dog. - Bugs in bathroom - 2 story building definitely needs attention - No battery cover on TV remote * Not on my must return list
It was a peaceful place to visit. The staff was very polite and made sure that we had everything we need. They allowed us to check in an hour and a half early which really made a difference in our schedule and we appreciate it very much. I would recommend this place if you plan to stay in Prescott. The price was absolutely amazing.
This was a nice stay . The cleaning lady was very nice she brought us extra towels .
Go to place
Have been staying with you for years. Will continue.
Nothing special.
Very average. Room was clean but was in disrepair.
Very friendly staff. Got upgraded and room was amazing. Clean and spacious. Lady at front desk, didnt get her name, but she was amazing. Will stay again if in the area.
