Beautiful resort with the nicest people you will ever meet. The food is great and the rooms are very comfortable.
Set on many acres of land, nice a quiet.can arrange all tours from hotel.Had a great massage .
Had a good stay. Limited day activities on site. Pool was quite dirty even after it was cleaned especially by the pool bar.
Long way out from town. Wine choices not available., Comfortable room.
Delicious breakfast sea view, staff to please you. Rooms overlooking the sea, waves so relaxing … In short it’s a Sheraton !
Love this place!
Ordered food from bar and 45 minutes later we had to ask where it was … as other persons food arrived! They didn’t even come back and give us an update. Also told check in is at 3 pm so went to bar and because we couldn’t check in they wanted us to pay. Then we were told we could check in and room was ready. Not the level I would expect for over 500 Tala per night!!!
Great place
Great
Place was nice but the
The hospitality exhibited by the hotel staff was exemplary, demonstrating exceptional friendliness and helpfulness. Furthermore, the cleanliness of our accommodations surpassed our expectations, particularly when compared to our experiences at other establishments. The dining area's open-air design, overlooking the ocean, provided a breathtaking ambiance. Notably, the continental breakfast offered an extensive array of options, effectively bridging the culinary gap between breakfast, lunch, and dinner." Given the opportunity to revisit Samoa in the future, the SHERATON Hotel would undoubtedly be my preferred choice of accommodation. The exceptional kindness and hospitality extended to my family during our stay was truly appreciated, fostering a memorable and positive experience." Faafetai tele lava.
Liked everything. Friendly staff. Great service thoroughly enjoyed our stay
Loved my stay here. Room was meticulous. The staff were amongst the kindest I have ever met. They went out of their way to make my Birthday special. Fia Fia night was outstanding with the food and Samoan music and dancing very entertaining.
.
Its position, close to the beach and with a relaxed environment
Very friendly staff who were always willing to help. Nice pool area with bar in the swimming pool. Good air-conditioning for those warm day. Excellent buffet breakfast included in room rate. Close to airport for early flights.
We had a great couple of nights stay. The staff were very polite and helpful.
We had a wonderful stay at the Sheraton, lovely staff, excellent room, slept well, easy access to pool and beach. Would love to stay again
Very friendly staff. Good service. Provided breakfast pack for very early departure.
Friendly and helpful staff
Loved the architecture and design. Extremely clean room with friendly customer service. Loved shopping at Janet’s which has huge range of gift options for family and friends. Room is spacious and provides a relaxing atmosphere. Have a range of food and drink options. Eco-friendly Christmas tree was made using recycled plastic bottles which I believe was a brilliant idea.
The location is beautiful - the beach and grounds are great. It’s a 5 minute drive from the airport, which is great. Staff are mostly keen to help but a few fine tuning in terms of service and cleanliness would be great. The breakfast was great and overall dining catered for all tastes. The bar was relatively well stocked. Overall a pleasant and relaxing stay.
A good location close to the airport. Large room with good amenities. Reception did not have any maps of the island or a tour desk with tourist options, they did however book us in with their preferred tour company for a day trip which was very good. Food and beverage quite expensive for what you got, but it was nice.
Too dark no lighting from the entrance all the way to reception, big car park poor lighting, hall way too many small black moths and mossies, both breakfast and dinner restaurants too many sandflies flies and small black insects, unsafe scary for a lady when your room is in Timbuktu and your checking out at 02:30 in the morning for a 0500 flight n worse again poor lighting had to use my phone light. Bad experience, unhappy guest!!!
Loved my stay
Do not stay here! Our stay here was plagued with issues from start to finish. We were staying as a family group and had 4 rooms booked. Firstly, they charged my credit card for extra rooms without authorization. They then told me they'd reversed the charges but hadn't, so I was out of pocket for nearly 2 weeks waiting to be reimbursed. We then each had issues with our rooms. We had an electrical issue, which meant every time a certain light switch was turned on, it blew all of the circuits so we had no power in our room. They came to advise us of this issue (so clearly knew about it - why put us in this room in the first place?), and said they would fix it while we were at dinner. We got back later that evening, and it turned out they hadn't fixed it at all. They were able to restore power (but not fix the problem) and said we could move rooms in the morning. The morning duty manager then told us no, they would just fix it. After trying and failing to fix it for nearly an hour, we were finally told we could move rooms but by this time it was midday and we'd basically lost a day of our trip to this nonsense. In another room, our family had no hot water in the shower, and despite repeatedly asking for it to be fixed, and told it would be, it wasn't. The food was a bit hit and miss and all way overpriced. The rooms were dirty, and the lining in the pool peeling and in need of TLC. For a supposed 5 star hotel, really disappointing.
A really nice place to stay but a shadow of its former self. The food was really nice with a comprehensive buffet breakfast served everyday. Lunch and dinner was a la carte with no daily change to the options throughout the course of our 5 day stay. We were told by the staff that buffet dinners were on hold until the resort got busier. We counted no more than 50 quests during our stay, so very quiet for a resort this size. (Most would probably love that but it affected what was available to us). The pool is amazing and the towel service was easy but the swim-up bar never opened. No kayaks or ocean equipment was available and not many people swam in the ocean although it was warmer than the pool. (Most likely due to the NZ navy ship recently sinking on the other side of the island). Staff were friendly and helpful at every interaction. The outdoor pool at the spa wasnt in use and was located too far away in my opinion. There were no tennis courts available despite this being on their website. The children's playground was off limits as it didn't look like it had been used for a while. The resort branded car was in the main carpark, with flat tyres and moss growing on it. Not a good look for the brand I would have thought. Overall, I expected a lot more from a Sheraton/Marriott resort. It did seem that they were getting back on their feet after the pandemic which we understand but should have indicated what isn't available on their website.
Close to the airport. They struggled with providing chsnge in Tala
Close to airport, just 10 min by taxi, but no noise at all. All buildings were renovated just one week before we came. Staff are very friendly. Not enough towels (bath, beach at first days)
Have to keep track on your account wr paid cash for everything we ate and drank at the hotel and were being charged for things we didnt order or had paid for so keep all recipts of purchases and pay Cash charge nothing back to your room
There was so much wrong with the property. I went there because I had been before. Extremely run down. Lawns not mowed. Gym was disgusting and smellt of urine. Walkways around resort smelt of blocked drains. No activities. No kayaks no snorkelling. No menu poolside. No swim up bar. Al advertised but not there. Weeds all through cobble stones poolside. No hot water one night. No pool towels until after lunch each day and only limited amounts. No wellness spa open until day 3. Clearly a change of management. I wrote a list of everything that had gone wrong.no one acknowledged it. Deeply disappointing. Everyone was complaining.
Beautiful hotel and area.
Just a one night stay, but the hotel arranged for us to have a rental car that made it so we could tour around for a few hours. Lovely hotel, wonderful breakfast. Great front desk help.
3 star resort
My 1 night stay was decent I don’t know why I got a 2 bed room when I actually made a reservation for a king room but whatever. The food was great the bed was stiff. The staff was nice. The place is showing its age.
The convenience close to the airport, easy check in, nice clean accommodation. Would stay there again.
Lovely facility with beautiful little beach. Unfortunately even though water sports, ie kayaking were advertised as available, major reason for booking. There were none available once we were there.
Air conditioning don't work well
Great experience
The customer service was wonderful and the resort was mouth jawing.
Staff absolutely brilliant in all ares, food & drink fantastic, huge effort into covid disruption being made, we were made to feel special
Was disappointed overall with the property, has gone downhill since we last stayed there.
Beautiful location and helpful, friendly staff.
Thank you staff for letting us check in late due to our flight delayed. I’m so glad to be here.
The property is right by the beach! The Spa option is amazing very relaxing and outside where you don't need to your sound machine for birds or ocean sound. It's all around you at the SPA! my favorite place to visit now!
We were in transit from Pago Pago to Brisbane Australia, and stayed there to freshen up and due to an early morning flight. Sheraton Mulifanua did not disappoint, from our arrival with the friendly service from our Airport Taxi to the easy check in, then porter service. We had a very early morning flight back to Australia and we were not going to be able to attend the complimentary buffet breakfast so they organised fruit, bacon & eggs, ham & cheese sandwiches & banana muffins for us on checkout. We also dined in for dinner and the food we ordered looked great and tasted even better. Malo lava Samoa Tourism, this is what you call Samoan Hospitality at its finest. Can not wait to come back and will definitely bring the family in tow next time!!!
THE BEST
Didn't like the outstanding bill email after my departure. Made me feel like I didn't checkout right.
Had an Amazing Stay here Service was Incredible Breakfast could have more varieties. But overall Staff was Great,Room service Awesome I would definitely come here Next time. Thank you for a Great Stay
When we arrived someone forgot clean floor it was muddy but after that we’ve got complimentary dinner which was nice.
Absolutely amazing service highly recommend
Like the location close to the wharf and airport. The pool was a great size and the sea was also a bonus. Food was nice and the buffet breakfast had good variety of food. The staff were lovely and accommodating. Only downside was no water sports equipment. No music played around the pool. The rooms need upgrading and deep clean on decks. The swimming towels need a good clean. And would be nice to have gift shop and more activities provided.
Quiet and very close to airport.
Had a great stay.weather was wonderful.Accomodation was comfortable spacious and clean. However room was in need of a makeover.Staff were friendly and helpful. However there was no kayaks snorkeling gear or entertainment facilities which was disappointing
Facility needs a lot of updating, our room was old and there’s stains in the bathroom floor. Towels and beddings were so old. I’ve been there so many times, used to be the best in Samoa.
10/10 everything 5 stars, staff, food, pool, room and amazing massage
The property is located on the most beautiful beahes. The buildings and rooms are generous in size and beautifully crafted. We loved our stay and the staff were wonderful.
Excellent stay. Lots of food options and all of what we tried was delicious. The resort itself was nice and quiet so it was really relaxing spending days by the pool (drinking cocktails which were really good). The room was really nice and spacious. The staff in particular were fantastic, really friendly and attentive - the best service we had from any resort during our trip! A couple of the facilities/activities (water sports and casino) were not yet opened up but that didnt bother us as we spent most days in the pool. Looking forward to coming back on our next holiday over.
Convenient to ferry & airport. Beautiful grounds & nice pool. Old hotel, cracked plate glass door in our room, overpriced at $388 AUD/ night - transit hotel.
Far better then what I had expected ❤️😎.
Overall it was an amazing experience & awesome hotel. The staff were so friendly, accomodating/ helpful & kind. From the gardeners to the cleaning staff to the reception everyone was lovely. It is a lit far from the main city where most of my shopping was done. However I had a good driver who was affiliated with the hotel that came in handy. Breakfast was included so that was good & it was always delicious. The only thing was sometimes I had to ask for additional water because they didn’t leave any after housekeeping. The beach, rooms, pool’s & restaurants were all amazing.
Stay at the Sheraton was wonderful, staff were very obliging, food was great and the views from the resorts location are picturesque...Thank you all at the Sheraton!
We had a lovely stay at the Sheraton Resort in April 2023. We spent 7 nights in Room 423 - a King Oceanfront room. The resort shows the results of having been shut during Covid but work is ongoing to bring it back up to spec. Our room was clean and well appointed with a beautiful view out to the beach. Shower facilities a little bit old and housekeeping was a bit hit and miss. Dining options were limited but the food was of good, high quality. Complimentary breakfast was excellent. All of the staff were polite and efficient. Pool area is outstanding and the beach very close by. Overall we would return
Had a great time, food was better than expected and the staff were all very nice
Nice place, big rooms and beautiful nature around !🇼🇸❤️🎶
Average food average service ,very limited activities , bar was terrible out of some sort of juice or alcohol one day here one day there couldn’t make the cocktail u order, pool not cleaned early enough , staff friendly but need lots of training on customer service , I feel ripped off tone honest 😔
AmaZing experience
It was an amazing experience! All staff are very friendly and welcoming!! I was treated like a princess .. I made a little complaint about the noise close to my room and they gave me an upgrade to a bigger and amazing room !! Also I’m my birthday staff made a surprise with a cake and sang Happy birthday in both English and Samoan .. a big shout to the manager Khan and staff Victoria ! Thanks so much !! The beach was like a paradise!!
If you have a late flight departure, be sure to either stay at the Sheraton the night before with the awesome 12noon check out! Allows for a last minute swim in the sea and pool as well as breakfast, and plenty of time to pack for the 5-10minute drive to Faleolo Airport. Staff are wonderful too!
Staff are amazing and still the best setting in Apia but it needs to recover it’s maintenance after covid lockdown and regain its former glory
My partner and 20 month old stayed here for a week and had the most wonderful time. The staff were super friendly, helpful and couldn’t do enough to make sure we had a wonderful time. They went above and beyond to make sure my son was looked after with everything he needed. Despite some things still not being open again since covid (which is completely understandable) we loved the private beach, the pool, the activities (including babysitting and amazing massages) and are looking forward to coming back in a year or two - I’m sure it will be even better after being back up and running for a bit longer post covid. It was definitely our favourite stay in Samoa. Special mention to Khan, Mataliu and Victoria for making our time so wonderful (though so many others!). Thank you 💗
Sheraton is the best place for family vacation in Samoa. Quite and clean environment.
Lovely resort with such friendly staff. Lots of space great service would highly recommend.
Best place to stay love it 😍
2nd stay here but understandably lack of tourism numbers due to covid has affected standards being able to be maintained but management
A great place to enjoy.Very friendly and welcoming staff.
Pool was under maintenance majority of the time. Housekeepers taking the towels but not replacing them Service is amazing tho
Sadly not up to Sheraton standards. Poor maintenence and limited services.
The parts of the Sheraton that are currently being used are well kept, tidy and clean. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The location is great because of its proximity to the wharf and airport. Very child friendly.
Beautiful place for family vacation.
We spent 9 awesome days at the Sheraton Beach Resort. Considering the effect covid has had around the world, posing challenges for tourism, this was an amazing stay. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful as we made some extra requests being that we were in Samoa working for the New Years Eve Fireworks Display. It was a busy time for the resort and having Samoa recently open its borders to tourists, I’m sure this put extra pressure on their labour & resources but everyone did a great job and made our stay very enjoyable. Thanks so much to Peter and your team for having us, we hope to come and stay with you again soon! Chers Mike
Not what I expected for a four star hotel. Room was reasonable but bed covers were all stained booked a room for 3 but only got two towels and when they clean the room only made the beds but did not replace the towels.
Very poorly maintained
The hotel needs thorough maintenance! It is falling apart. We stayed 6 nights and had to transfer to different rooms for 3 consecutive nights because things were not working. The first room (207), air-conditioning, fridge, phone wasn’t working. They moved us to 208 at 10pm. The following day, the sliding door in 208 cannot be locked, they fixed that but broke the air conditioning so at 9:40pm they moved is again to 207! Cleaning was done late at night. We found a covid test under the bed side table the first night in 207. And when we were moved back to the room the following night, the test kit was still under the bedside table which proved cleaning was not thorough. It remained there several nights until I pocked it up and threw it. For a Marriott chain, this kind of cleaning is very poor. Pool bat was closed the entire time we were there. Our friends who were staying at room 221 was locked in that room and could not get out because the front door was stuck. The phone in their room wasn’t working. This room was on the 2nd floor so they could not exit through the sliding doors. They were moved to room 201 on the first day. In room 201, the bathroom door was broken and was dislodged. On our last night, there was a false fire alarm at 3:37am and when everyone got to the lobby no one explained it was a false alarm until an upset guest asked reception. It was poorly handled. What the hotel lacked in maintenance, the staff fully made up for. They were all nice.
good value for the money. Staff and location on the beach are excellent. Rooms could be cleaner
I understand its post-covid times. I am certain Sheraton will return to its uniqueness and glory.
Nice resort. Could use some updating - it looked a little less modern than Sheratons I’ve stayed in. Kitchen closes too early and not the hours specified online (closed at 8pm but online it says 10pm). We arrived at 830pm after a delayed flight and there was no food! Vending machines with snacks would be a great addition!
.
Nice and clean and the workers are friendly...😊
I DON'T LIKE PUT ME IN THE LAST ROOM OF THE HOTEL WHEN HAVE SO MANY ROOMS AVAILABLE I NEED TO COMPLAIN. IF NOT HAVE CLIENTS I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY NOT PUT IN THE GOOD ROOMS. I PAYED A LOT MONEY FOR HAVE GOOD LOCATION TO THE SEE. THE WAITRESS 3 TIMES CHARGED MY FOOD BILLS IN THE INCORRECT ROOMS AND GAVE ME 2 TIMES THE RONG MEALS I ORDER.
The staff were wonderful and the pool and beach area just amazing. Our room was very rundown though - plugs fallen off the wall, a faded and stained sofa - which made it not great value for money.
Excellent hotel really enjoyed my time here. Staff try very hard. Good location with excellent beach and in between airport and ferry Wharf both just 10 mins away. Could not be better for holiday location, definitely recommend.
Serene, welcoming, courteous staff, excellent food, the best relaxing holiday I have had, the setting is magnificent, the countryside well cared for.the staff were always welcoming and took the time for a chat
Beautiful location and excellent staff service! Had all of the amenities needed to enjoy a wonderful stay. Super helpful with transport and activities too
We were there during cyclone Tino, staff were out there doing there best to
Stunning outlook, beautiful beach resort, looked as good in real life as it did on the internet
Great staff and resort facilities were well maintained. Buffet meals were very tasty and affordable. Family thoroughly enjoyed our holiday in Samoa and staying at the Sheraton Beach Resort.
Professional staff. The hotel is well maintained and food options were great. Emanuele Secondo (Director of Rooms) stands out. He was great with guests in general. We often saw him around the property engaging with guests and supporting his team. Samoan hospitality was fantastic and rooms were clean and comfortable. Great hotel for families!
The staff are genuinely friendly and therefore the atmosphere is really relaxing. This is our third visit here. Highly recommend
We had some issues booking (sent to an occupied room). Settled into another and after two days the aircon failed. Moved to a third for the remainder room - staff were good with a free spar visit. Pool is great, location close to airport, however most tour operators require Apia departure. Consider hiring a taxi for the day ($300WST) to take you around the island. Explore other restaurants to get larger variety of food. Over all pretty good.
This resort is 5 stars in my opinion from the moment we arrived staff were outstanding. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone visiting Samoa. The only down side is it is a little far from town, but if you are looking for a real paradise getaway, this is it!!!!!
Staff are great - room was clean - everything worked
This property is a very typical international resort style property. What makes it Samoan is the extraordinary friendliness of the staff (save a couple of female reception staff). The rooms are slightly dated and could do with either a refurb or a clean mostly in the bathrooms. It's a perfect place to start or end your time in Samoa with its excellent location between the ferry port and the airport. It's also located along a beautiful beach with free stand-up paddle boards and kayaks available. The included breakfast was amazing!
