Very friendly, helpful and attentive staff. Excellent service during our stay. We appreciated the early check-in after a long flight. Also, the prompt assist of the doormen with taxis as our pre-arranged airport transfer was a no show was greatly appreciated.

An important business partner came to visit me one morning during my stay. We met in the lobby lounge. He happened to bring a cup of Starbucks coffee. A staff member approached and advised that it was policy that he could not have the coffee from the outside. I believe that is a terrible policy when guests are paying lots of money to stay in the establishment.

The staff and service at Shangrila are world class. They made us feel welcome from the minute we arrived. Very family friendly place. The entire staff was top notch! Keith, Saw, Nihil, and Mr, Karim in the Horizon Lounge. Khodarahm and Yasser in the lobby along with the rest of the Dunes Cafe staff. They truly are very kind and exceptional people. Thank you for everything! My family will definitely stay here again the next time we are in Dubai.

Our experience at the hotel overall was excellent. From the greeters at the door, to amazing valet parking service, and also the super kind and generous room and cleaning service. We really enjoyed our time at the Shangri-La in Dubai and would highly recommend it. My family and I felt very comfortable and safe during our entire visit. They also made sure to take the extra step to enhance our experience.

Staff was exceptional. Seriously every staff made sure we had great time in the hotel. I've not seen this before in any other stay. All of them were good, some of them I remember the names are Yassar, Hareed, Sasikumar (help with huge luggages), Keith, Hamid. Janeth, Erika and all Happy hour team. Since the hotel is in downtown, its very near to Burj, Museum, Frame etc.

Thank you to the whole team. They were friendly and helpful at all times. Perfect location, great food and dining options. Horizon Executive room was so well thought through with stationary details, that it made a perfect office with a view! Mini bar was generous with tons of options. Didn’t get to try room service due to fasting but great looking menu with lots of options too. Downside: Room was located near the elevator so that was quite noisy against the wall but overall, great stay and definitely coming back. When next in Dubai.

- Worst reservations agents / team I have ever dealt with at a high end hotel. - Hotel staff, however, were nice and helpful during our stay. The duty manager was super kind and upgraded my room to a suite at check-in which I really appreciated. - Hotel quality: dated rooms / standards and was expecting much higher quality rooms for a hotel of this stature. - Price: I stayed in other hotels which provided a better ‘hard product’ i.e room furniture / decor / hotel standards and quality for the same price so - it definitely looks dated and crying for a refurbishment. Overall, I will not stay at the Shangri-la again given the really bad service / inflexibility of its reservations team/agents.

Fantastic hotel - incredible service and people

Great hotel with incredible service that makes it stand out (so sorry, I forgot many names of all the staff who made us feel so special). Right from arriving in taxi and being welcomed outside as a “VIP friend”, to reception who were so happy to see us, informed, the cool check-in on 41st floor with the brilliant Karim who helped us so much. Spa was delightful (Aman), the Turkish buffet for Iftar was pacy full of variety and flavour - very delicious. Room was incredible (they made our day by preparing the suite), but the new thing was how every member of staff - from concierge to security - made us feel extra special during our stay.

Generally, a very nice hotel. Services are excellent. Sink-tap in the bathroom is not great design; splashing water all over, unless you use it in a very low pressure. Seems like toilet doesn’t have a ventilation, just an air condition. Other than the above, great hotel, good location and nice food. I thank the Mr. Akram Jaldin for the great service and hospitality.

Convenient location! Plenty of dining options nearby. Many amenities to choose from. Staff was the best, especially the gents manning the door.

Top of the hospitality line hotel in downtown Dubai . Rooms are flawless & cleanliness of the rooms are kept up industry standards. Friendly & courteous staff, wide selection of cuisine’s & relaxing services. Morning Buffet is open on weekends till 11 am. Big thanks to Valet service & staff. Hurray to the team Shangri-La.
