1 night. business stay. prepaid yet i was charged twice for the room, double charged for transportation. the bill was redone 4 times.

The location is central. I would suggest the front desk offer a one page map of the surrounding areas. So a tourist would have an idea what to visit ( accessible by walking) They could also post one events are happening in the city ( eg the 100 anniversary of Xavier Universiy)

It was a good 4 star hotel

Mall is next door . Very convenient. Breakfast and Ala carte choices are excellent.

Dinner food was great at the restaurant, breakfast food was consistently cold, and dramatically, lacked the same enjoyment as the dinner. I don’t know what I paid extra for the breakfast, but it was not worth it everything else was top-notch and I highly recommend it. We will be going back and hopefully not pay for a breakfast and just walk to Starbucks.

Locating my wedding ring

The hotel was very accommodating and welcoming. While using the pool before leaving it, i discovered i didn't have my wedding ring. I was sure i had it on while swimming. It was getting dark, i told the front desk and they was able to locate it in the pool. Thanks for your assistance again!

Always love staying at Seda when I am in Cagayan de oro. The staffs are professional and helpful. The breakfast buffet offers variety of delicious foods. Most of all, the location.

The staff is always helpful and approachable. The location is its selling point, walking distance to three major malls of the city, provincial hospital and San Nazareno Catholic church. You can’t beat that.

The staff was excellent. Everything was excellent, except for the room. The room has a window in the bathroom when you turn the light on, it shines on to the bedroom so you can’t really turn on the light when you go use the restroom without waking up everybody in the room it shares the same wall I guess it’s easier to say, the room had a beautiful comforter that kept us comfy all night, but the door may say ticking noise after you close it, which is kinda annoying cause you don’t know if it’s locked or not locked but it did this every time. The facility is beautiful the staff was excellent , it was just those little things in the room the layout I guess this easier to say that bother me and also the TV was not a smart TV so for a visit I’m glad I was mostly with family

No longer a nice hotel. We booked a New Year’s Eve dinner but came down from our room to find hundreds of visiting diners and a very loud band which we could not avoid, so we had dinner in the club lounge (where we could hold a conversation). The hotel insisted that we pay the full price for the NYE dinner, even though we were not given cocktails and the experience we had been promised. I felt exploited. We shall try another hotel or Airbnb next time.

Beautiful

My stay in seda hotel was pleasant. I love that they offer in room massage service and I was able to avail that. Also, one thing i love was the access to the executive lounge which gave me a little bit of privacy and the ambiance and service was superb too.

Honest staff

We always stay in Seda for business trips…it’s very conveniently located. The staff is very friendly, efficient and accommodating. They try to go out of their way to make your stay pleasant. Have stayed maybe four times since January. They have been very helpful when we leave something in the rooms…and ask them to look for it…

Great location

Great location as it's right beside Centrio mall and in the middle of the city; there is a line of taxicabs and airport shuttles waiting just outside so transportation is not a problem. The rooms are a bit old and need to be updated to be competitive for the price you pay though (electrical outlets for example need to be upgraded as the ones they currently have are loose). Breakfast selection is great.

Staff is extremely polite, helpful and considerate.

Never again

Mybwife arrived late with 3 young kids. One infant and all nearby restaurants were closed. She asked the front desk for small milk and was denied. She was told the restaurant was closed. They went to sleep hungry. I had to call long distance to tell the front desk to get her milk. Later they opened the restaurant and got milk but by that time, my wife was asleep.

Our stay was short and we only really needed a place to sleep in…there was construction happening around the time of 10pm to before Midnight…walls are really thin…you can hear people talking in the hallway…breakfast was very ordinary…front desk staff were very helpful and efficient, housekeeping was very attentive too😊😊😊

I have been staying at this hotel every time I am in the city. Clean and staffs are friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was very good. Closed to malls.

There were some bugs that were in the salad, there were instances where we could not log-in via the Wi-Fi, or the room card had to reset multiple times just to enter the room

It was ok. Breakfast was terrible. But staff are good.

was told during check in that it will be a buffet breakfast and have to call early the next day for breakfast reservation. However were shocked when breakfast was delivered in our room and we werent given any choice was just told by the crew that dine in breakfast was not allowed during alert level 3. whats even more shocking was when we went down to swim in the pool there were people having buffet breakfast at their restaurant. why arent we offered the same thing? when we book our reservation it was stated that its buffet breakfast? and when we checked in some of the amenities are empty, empty dental kit, empty box of soap, empty box of vanity kit. No hair dryer in the room, when we called reception was told that there should be a hair dryer in the room and was told that they will send someone with hair dryer but no one came until we checked out. and one more thing the shower screen door doesnt fit properly so the whole bathroom was flooding. and its not just our room coz i booked two rooms the other room has the same problem as well..

It was a sudden trip with my girlfriend. We have spent our anniversary there and it was fun. We actually did not use most of the amenities in their, but it was still worth it. Clean room, comfortable bed, and clean bathroom. Don't miss their eat all you can breakfast where they serve tons of choices you can eat and drink. If I have the money again.. I would definitely stay at this hotel 😊

Doing the best they can

I was in desperate need of R&R. Due to the restriction related to the virus, some of their services were limited. However, and despite this, my stay was pleasant and the staff did their best to serve me.

The property is close with everything and very welcoming staff.

Good hotel to stay.

I have stayed at this hotel since it opened and has been satisfied. Good breakfast buffet. My only complaint was the air con has no heater and the room was very cold ( had to turn air con off and opened the window ).

The ameneties ,staff servce is excellent we will surely stay SEDA hotels when we come back .

The hotel is attached to a Mall. The view from my room was nice. I could see the city and could see the sun set.

Best hotel

OK, But

Food was very good. Shower flooded onto the bathroom floor. We tried everything to stop it including putting towels down and sealing bottom of floor but to no avail. This happened in two different rooms. The first time we stayed they gave us one towel and no wash clothes. We called and asked for more and they said they had run out. After that we got two towels but no wash cloths or other.

Unhappy visit

I've stayed at this hotel 4 times. I feel it is going downhill as far as housekeeping. I had to ask every day for towels hand towels and was unsuccessful in getting a face towel. There was also a big problem getting my room cleaned, one day not cleaned till 4:15 pm

Two window blinders were broken. The Cesar salad dressing was SWEET! (Rather odd)

I arrive past 2pm for my check in yet I waited for another hour since the hotel is fully booked...

I did not like that the phone calls to the front desk and room service would ring several times without anyone answering. (Around 8 times in my 5-day stay)

The rooms are larger than most of the newer hotels. Has a nice pool and working out room. But the thing that makes Seda Centrio my choice in CDO is the staff. Their warm smiles and pleasant way about them is sincere. Rae, the wait staff manager is the key to all this, I have stayed here for many years and the staff turns over at times but Rae is a consistent face and his influence is reflected in even the newest of Rookies. I hope Seda knows what a good man they have in Rae.

I stayed at two different hotels and Seda was far and above the other place I stayed. It had all the amenities we have here in the US. Breakfast was really nice and the food in that country is not very good so I looked forward to breakfast every day

Safety of guests in a mall setup is given importance and i like that, seeing that the main entrance is adjacent to the mall entrance, and the lobby is still on the 4th floor, not the ground flr. The telephone however was dead i had to go down to order food which was so inconvenient.

The location was excelent, the staff friendly and the room was wonderful.

Staff were very polite and eager to help. Probably too helpful - the cleaning staff took some used plastic bags (ok, so they were used, but I intended to re-use them for my shoes, etc.) but they did quickly replace them with clean ones, so no problem at all. The property was very clean. I suppose better lighting in the bathroom would be helpful. A minor thing, but the mini bar didn't offer nuts and munchies.

Wi-Fi has dead spots in room. Overall acceptable Thin walls, person in other room talking on phone can be heard clearly

Nice hotel but their failure to reply to emails is disappointing. A blouse left behind has not been returned to the owner or my email replied to. I will leave you to come to your own conclusions.

A great location as part of a modern mall

This is my third time in Seda hotel. Cleanliness is always excellent. There was an upgrade with their slippers this time. It’s one of the little things that adds a monumental comfort after a very long flight. Their halo halo special is still a treat I will not forget when staying in this hotel in transit since the quality is still true. I will definitely recommend this hotel to my friends and family.

Very friendly and accommodating staff. Rooms are adequate sized that you won’t feel cramped, clean and well maintained. Room Amenities complete and what’s not available you can request. Has a pool, gym and in room massage. Breakfast buffet had several selections. For the price I paid, it was a steal! I hope they keep the quality of their facility. Would definitely recommend.

It's spacious, clean and has basic amenities. WiFi connection wasn't always good. Bathroom had no bidet. Only 1 teaspoon for the coffee service. I asked housekeeping why there was only 1 and he said that how it was and I had to make a request if I wanted an additional one. Also only 1 glass in the bathroom. Mini bar had a few drinks selection in cooler, not a refrigerator. You also have to make a request for a hair dryer with a plug that wasn't compatible with the bathroom socket. Looking for a parking spot was stressful. Our borrowed vehicle got scratched while parked. Breakfast was ordinary buffet breakfast. Bacon tasted like it was coomed

Seda is still great hotel to stay in CDO!

We have been staying at Seda for years. The only minor point to raise is: needs some renovation (painting) to the place. The staff as always very attentive!

It's a nice hotel, comfortable and sophisticated. No problems seen.

Good overall, but club lounge service inconsistent

Generally good experience. Friendly front desk, and loved the sleek and clean room. Comfortable stay, and housekeeping and tech staff were highly accommodating and responsive to my needs. My only criticism is that the receptionist inside the club lounge wasn't as attentive as other receptionists I've interacted with during past bookings. Other receptionists would actually approach me and ask if I wanted any coffee or tea, or even any nuts. But the last one stayed behind his desk the whole time. I had to approach him first, after around 15 minutes of having seated myself. I asked for coffee and nuts. He served the coffee and forgot the nuts. Reminded him and he apologized.

There was a leak in the toilet bowl that smells nasty. Towels were not soft because it’s like used though it’s clean( need to replace those towels with new and soft ones).

Seda is best in CDO.

Great service!

I am always impressed with the friendly and courteous staff. The waiters all know you by name, the young man who makes omelettes each morning remembers my order with out reminder and greets me each day with the most friendly, warm genuine smile. This warm friendly service extends to the desk clerks, the bell captains and the housekeeping staff. They rarely say no occasionally they do say let me see how we can accommodate your request. As for the rooms they are showing a little age, but the beds are comfortable and always hot and cold water whatever the desire. Free WiFi as a big plus for me.

Has all prerequisites: hot water, fluffy towels, charge outlets by bed, bedside table, reading lamp, movie channels, and clean aircon system. Excellent food selection for breakfast.

Number 1 in CDO

Probably the best hotel in Cagayan de Oro, I have stayed at the Lux several times and rate this one much better. However on an international standard this is only just passable as a 3 star hotel.

Good Location, Friendly Staff, Hygene..

The service was excellent. When my uncle had an emergency, ambulance was readily available. A staff member even went with ambulance to the hospital and made sure everything was okay including the baggages that were still left at the hotel. The supervisor even visited us at the hospital and showed concern even if he was still not on duty. To all the staff, thank you very much. My kudos to everyone and our most sincere appreciation for your extra efforts and showing concern.

Wonderful hotel in CdO

We were there as a mission team, the fourth time I have stayed at the Seda, I think. As always, it was wonderful - a great option in Cagayan de Oro. We love the availability of the mall shops and restaurants and there is also a great breakfast buffet each morning at the hotel. I always feel safe there, as it is securely guarded. My favorite waiter, Rae Granzon, was still working and gives wonderful service. He has become a friend to us. For the price, the Seda cannot be beat!!

A very comfortable stay in the middle of the city

Amazing hotel and very helpful staff... the check in and check out process was very quick. Had to leave our luggage at the hotel after we checked out and they were happy to look after them. Breakfast was good but not terrific, I suppose buffet breakfasts are usually never amazing anyway. Will definitely stay there again though. Thank you for your hospitality!
