Comfortable, unique, with excellent service! The breakfast was ridiculously delicious, and the attention to detail was above and beyond. Bravo!

The staff was so friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was outstanding! The new owners have done a fantastic job attending to small details that make guests feel welcome and comfortable. They have created a calm and classy atmosphere.

Great location, wonderful property, great hospitality, delicious breakfasts, friendly and engaging hosts! Would definitely return if in the area!

Glad we found this GEM of a B&B!

Warmly welcoming, comfy and well-appointed room incl. best amenities basket ever! Very clean.Terry robes. Delicious 3 course breakfast. Attentive and caring service. New owners are lovely. Wish we’d brought our bathing suits in this overnight as the heated pool was calling us. Located in Old Melbourne historic area next to a fabulous restaurant (dinner) and the public Melbourne Pier for those who want to stroll, bird-watch, or fish. Well-equipped public playground & various courts across street if you’re traveling w wee ones. Or teens. Highly recommend!

We stayed in the turtle room. Great bathtub. Breakfast was included and it was amazing!! The staff is professional, helpful and kind. We will definitely go back.

Enjoyed our stay!

Wonderful find! Owners and staff very cordial and welcoming, with great attention to detail. Delicious gourmet breakfasts began each day and tasty happy hour to end the day. Accommodations neat, clean and comfortable. Peaceful setting located just a short walk to the beach, restaurants and pier. Can’t wait to return!

The location is amazing with walking distance to the dock on the lagoon and to the ocean on the opposite side. The room was very comfortable and elegant. Breakfast was well done. A perfect anniversary.

We Love The Seaglass Inn

We have stayed here many times and ALWAYS enjoyed our stay. The rooms are well kept, the grounds are immaculate and the breakfast is wonderful. I'm a little afraid to post this review because after this it maybe too hard for us to get a room in the future......

For the money I could have stayed in a rectangular room in a big hotel run by the normal chains....why would you do that? This was fantastic from the second we checked in to our departure. Comfortable, quirky, fun - just what we wanted after a long flight. We stayed 2 nights, probably should have been 3 to enjoy the area. Breakfast was possibly the best I've ever had (we've travelled a fair bit). I would thoroughly recommend this place and hope to return next spring.

I have stayed at Seaglass twice now and it has been very nice. Great food and setting, but I have to admit that I left there a little frustrated/irritated today. Don’t irritated to go into details because I have enjoyed the Inn, but not sure if I’ll go back now. Megan who works in the office is 619851 kind and they are very lucky to have her there…

Wonderful!

From the minute we got out of our car, we felt welcomed. Megan greeted us like long-lost friends, escorted us to our room, and made us feel at home. It was the perfect location for us. I cannot imagine staying anywhere else in this cute little town. And the breakfast was fabulous!

Great experience

Chef Carl and his wife Allison are wonderful hosts. The Chef's breakfast menus are a great way to start your day, with amazing creations. The well known Dijon Restaurant is next door. The river and the Melbourne Beach Pier is a short walk, and the beach is just at the end of the block.

A lovely & quiet inn with a heated pool and only a 10-minute walk to Ocean Park Beach! Loved my stay...

Amazing

We chose this B&B because of its close access to the beach and a night launch from Cape Canaveral. Out last visit to Melbourne Beach was 45 years ago. Hosts were gracious and friendly. The late afternoon wine and cheese happy hour was enjoyable. The breakfast (French toast, caramelized bacon, fruit smoothy) was good. The heated pool was relaxing. Our room (Driftwood Lagoon) was clean but nothing special. Bed was a bit soft for us...personal taste. However, an unpleasant odor emanated from under the sink necessitating opening a window, closing the bath door, running a fan at high speed, and not using the jacuzzi.

It was a disappointing stay because it's such a cute property and could have been wonderful - Bed in Yellow Hibiscus room was horrible - like sleeping on plywood - I ended up sleeping in the chair and used the luggage rack and pillow to create place to rest my legs. The pool had a bunch of leaves and debris in it so I decided to take a bath in the nice deep bathtub instead. But I had to clean the tub first - several short curly hairs (gross). Disappointing because cute place, towels were perfect, decorative details were nice, and the mango smoothie with breakfast was fabulous. Also, staff very pleasant.

Second Stay--Does Not Disappoint

This is our second stay and the Seaglass Inn does not disappoint. The most remarkable property with amazing details that make the grounds, the room, and the common area a joy. Room is very comfortable and the staff is amazing.

This is a truly exceptional B&B - fabulous accommodation lovely breakfasts and really fantastic owners - if you are visiting Melbourne Beach and not staying here you are missing a treat of the highest order. Thoroughly and unconditionally recommended

My Favorite Hotel, EVER

I cannot say enough positive things about our stay at the Seaglass Inn in Melbourne Beach. We stayed as overflow for a large family gathering in the area and the property was amazing along multiple dimensions. This is a true bed and breakfast. Our room was amazing. Spacious, comfortable, clean, and very up to date but with a wonderful collection of antique furniture. The patio-garden-pool area was an oasis of calm. There was a very nice welcome happy hour and we sipped wine in Adirondack chairs in the garden and were then off to our family event. The staff was amazing. They responded to a voice mail message right away and were so personable. The breakfast was incredible. Coffee was available at all hours and the breakfast included biscuit and gravy, scrambled eggs, and banana nut bread!! Also a fruit smoothie to start and the cutest ever pineapple boat starter. The staff did an amazing job adapting the menu to my wife's gluten free requirements. There were so many touches of excellence with this stay but the overall experience was homey and friendly. I will book this hotel again in a heartbeat.

This property was absolutely charming. The staff could not have been more attentive. The location is perfect. You can walk to the river or the ocean. Melbourne Beach is a magical place.

Sea Glass in was quaint. We were welcomed upon arrival and they even offered a little happy hour. The owners gave us great advice on locations to eat. The room was clean and comfortable. The Sea Glass facilities included a dining area for breakfast, a pool and a fire pit. The location is walkable to both the beach and the river.

You get special attention all the time you are there. It's a lovely property situated between the Atlantic Ocean and the Indian River Lagoon. Delightful refreshing breakfast and Happy Hour keep you a part of the "family". Nice sized pool as well. The property is impeccably kept, Turkish towels, fine linens, comfortable furniture. There are day trips to old Florida as well.

Rained the first evening we arrived, bed was wet from the leak in the ceiling.Meaghan who was on site that evening corrected the situattion with MY assistance. A small discount for one night would have been appreciated! Daily water bottles in the fridge would have been NICE touch!

Seaglass Inn

The Sea Glass Inn is amazing! The owners/hosts are very friendly. The multi-course breakfast was delicious! The property is well maintained and very clean. We will definitely be back!

Charming little Inn - highly recommend!

We stayed here for one night after getting off of a cruise ship. Our room was very nice! Very clean! The staff was so friendly, and the food was amazing. We took a nice bike ride around the neighborhood and down to the beach. I would highly recommend this B&B. We will definitely stay here again if in the area.

We visit lots of B&Bs and this was top notch. Nice clean room. Great location. Outstanding staff and food was over the top. They also had tennis racquets, bikes, beach chairs, bocci ball. They had it all covered. Pool was in shady spot but cute and comfortable. Could find sun on the front porch rocking chairs.

We only stayed for one night, having flown into Melbourne airport quite late at night. That said, we enjoyed a quick dip in the pool, a stroll along the beach and a wonderful breakfast! Everyone was very friendly and welcoming, we would definitely stay there again if flying into Melbourne airport from the UK

Romantic getaway

This place was amazing, from the delicious breakfasts, to the scrumptious happy hours and everything in between. The room was fabulous. The staff were beyond friendly and helpful. Everything was so peaceful. We will definitely be back!

Calm relaxed and beautiful surroundings

Great B & B

This was our first time in Melbourne Beach and it was absolutely beautiful ! The Innkeepers are amazing ! The breakfasts were incredible and service was excellent. The rooms and property was spotless. Happy hour was a nice touch and the wines were not cheap wines like you may see at some happy hours. The staff at the Inn are very knowledge and can help you plan your activities and dining options. Per their recommendation, We did an eco-boat tour with Honest Johns Fish Camp and it was a great experience. The restaurant right next door was awesome and the food was exceptional. The beach is at the end of the street but there are many public beach accesses down the road within a quick car or bike ride as well. We loved our beach weekend and look forward to a return trip !!

What a lovely B&B. It's run by a couple and it feels like a home. Super clean, very comfortable rooms, nice soaking tub in the bathroom, neighborhood is perfect with the beach, tennis courts, public library, a park, and nice restaurants all literally steps away. Free parking right out front. I drive through the area every month for business and intend to return.

Cute B&B, 3-4 blocks from the beach. Owners were friendly, helpful and accommodating. Weather in early February not ideal but other than that, would definitely be back

Beautiful Inn with a nice heated pool, outdoor seating with fire pit, gourmet breakfasts and evening wine/hors d'oeuvres hour. About 3 blocks from beach and steps from the river. Highly recommended in peaceful Melbourne Beach. Hope to return.

The owner's were terrific. They were friendly and an absolute joy to be around. The rooms were spotless and very quaint. We learned the owners have a background in the cruise industry, and that became evident with the happy hour, and especially breakfast. We will definitely come back!

Refreshing and relaxing

We really enjoyed our stay. We love the feel of a smaller place. We arrived late after a long day of travel and were happy to find our room comfy, clean and inviting. We enjoyed the breakfasts each day. Every morning started with a fresh smoothie, then some sort of fresh fruit, followed by the main course. We have stayed at other BNBs where the food was delicious but all comfort food- waffles, muffins, etc. We liked that the breakfasts here felt more balanced- first some refreshing fruit, then the hearty breakfast. Our favorite day the main course was apple baked French toast. I don’t even usually like apples cooked or baked into something but loved the French toast. The apples seemed like they melted in and it was delicious. The Inn is walking distance to the beach which was very convenient and we also appreciated that beach chairs and umbrellas were available - though the umbrella seemed to be missing a piece so could use an upgrade. :-) My husband had to play with it to get it to stay up. But it was still very convenient & appreciated that those beach items were available for use. The service at breakfast was great- as soon as both of us had finished, the hosts would be out right away to take our empty plates and replace them with the next item. One note if you plan to stay here- tell them ahead of time if you have any special diet issue. There is only one set breakfast menu each day but I believe they will adjust for you if they know ahead of time.

Great Beach Getaway for a couple.

Exceptional B & B Friendly service. Great breakfast, with mango fruit from the trees on the property. Spotless grounds. Free Bikes available. 7 min walk to beach, 5 min walk to inlet river side. Great gateway for a couple. Pool and firepit. Very relaxing. We will be back.

Wonderful and charming property, well located, with very pleasant and accommodating owners. A great option in Melbourne Beach convenient to many restaurants and shopping, as well as the beach and main pier. Would recommend to others for a lovely alternative from the chain hotel experience.

The breakfast was everything the reviews promised: delicious, creative, well-presented. The host and hostess are experienced and knowledgeable hoteliers who know how to make guests feel welcome. However, the property is a bit run-down. The mattress in the Driftwood laguna room is in dire need of replacement; it is lumpy and unsupportive. Also we could not get the fire pit to work. As we didn't feel lilke bothering our hosts about it, we went without. Some written instructions, posted prominently, would be greatly appreciated!

My wife and I always look forward to our trips to the eastern coast of Florida, most of all our restful stay at the Seaglass Inn. Allison and Karl are top notch hosts. The facilities are well looked after with great attention to detail inside and out fully evident. The location in the town of Melbourne Beach is idea for exploring the Space Coast. We enjoy the Melbourne pier and being on the Indian River side of the island. Using one of the complimentary Beach Cruiser bikes from the Inn, is always a treat. We highly recommend this as destination for vacationers.

Absolutely fantastic! The Inn Keepers - Karl & Alison - are super fun and incredibly nice! Food was super yummy, heated pool was wonderful at the end of the day! Wonderful location. We would definitely stay here again!!

You won’t be disappointed

Only a few parking spots but no problem parking across the street. We enjoyed our room and bath. Very quaint and neat as a pin. Very nice happy hour and the breakfast was exceptional. The couple that run the B&B know what they are doing. Superb service. Only regret is we didn’t bring our swimsuits to use the pool. Great restaurant next door. We have already booked it again

The owner greeted us and was very accommodating even though we arrived prior to check in. The room is lovely. Very clean and well appointed. The backyard space is gorgeous. Heated in ground pool, lots of chaise lounges and a gas fire pit. A couple of blocks to the beach and several local establishments within walking distance. Going to breakfast in a little bit! A great find!

Couples getaway

We had wonderful hosts, great breakfast meals daily in a beautiful setting, wine happy hour daily. The courtyard provided for a relaxing area, swimming in the pool, reading a book on the lounge chair, or sitting by the fire pit in the late evening. I highly recommend staying here.

This is a beautiful property with absolutely wonderful hosts. The Breakfast and Happy Hour appetizers/wine are absolutely spectacular.

Alison and Karl are exceptional hosts. We felt extremely welcome from the moment we arrived until we left. And the breakfasts were so creative and delicious. We would highly recommend.

It was quiet, and clean. The owners were friendly. Afternoon wine and cheese. Beds were comfortable had a spa shower and jet tub. The breakfast was served at a reasonable time (who wants to get up super early on vacation) and it was really good.
