great people.great location

Stelios was incredible! He was so kind and sweet and welcoming, he definitely made our stay that much better! Our room was wonderful too, and so is the location of the hotel! Will definitely return, hopefully soon!

Exc location for Old Town and host was v. helpful with exc recommendations for food,sights and travel. Exc value.

Really well appointed. Property has made all efforts to reduce the noise wth quality double glazed doors, windows, both with shutters, facing the seafront shopping and dining strip.

Nice stay

When I arrived, no one was at the reception; the person on duty had run an errand, so I had to call. Was given a room overlooking the sea, which was very nice. However, during the high tourist season, I would opt for a room in the back, as the rooms facing the sea are above a restaurant on restaurant row, and facing a busy street, where loud noise goes on all night. There was loud noise during my stay, but it died down around midnight. The hotel isn’t on the ground floor, no lobby, so expect to climb stairs, and the entrance can be a bit deceiving. The mattress in my room was a bit too soft for me, but overall enjoyed my stay.

Great location - right in town. The room was clean and of decent size.The reception staff was extremely polite and gave easy direction for free parking.

The room we stayed was building not far from the main Sea Front Old Town Hotel, in a very quiet road. We particularly enjoyed the proximity to the city centre as well as the quiet of being tucked away on a secondary lane. The room included all the amenities reported in the ads (e.g. A/C, minifridge, toiletries...) as was perfect for a short stay. The two hosts were very welcoming and gave us terrific tips on bakeries / restaurant to go. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay

An amazing place to experience in Rethymno

Spent a week in this hotel. Very convenient location. Service are amazing. This family run place are very clean and welcoming. Room service was outstanding. To be honest, I feel home while staying there. Both brothers ( the owner) are so helpful. Anything you need they will sort it out with a big smile. I lost the room keys and they gave me a replacement straightaway. Their friendliness and warm hospitality can’t be forgotten! In my next visit I will definitely go to this place. I recommend anyone without any hesitation you can book this place, I had a great experience ever staying in a hotel abroad. I also thanks to Seafront owner for their heartfelt hospitality in Rethymno. All the best Mizan, Edinburgh

Clean hotel, friendly people, air conditioned and close to the sea front.

Great location although the entrance was a bit hidden. The building is a bit older than I expected and more of an apartment style, however, the view was amazing and the room was nice and clean.

A good stay at a very good price

Very convenient location, charming staff and a reasonable price. Extremely comfortable beds. We were put in a room with 4 single beds, two of the beds were not made up and the mattress protectors although spotlessly clean were a bit unsightly.

The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The two brothers could not have been more helpful or solicitous, even providing an umbrella on a rainy day (without a request). They were awesome.

Great location and customer service

These apartments are perfectly located for the old town and the beach. It's not a hotel with catering facilities and pool so if that's what you're looking for this is not for you. However, what they do provide is an ideally located and comfortable place to stay and for us, the opportunity to discover all the great places to eat out in the old town. They did also provide us with some plates and cutlery to enjoy preparing our own snacks to occasionally eat on our terrace which suited us for breakfast time. You could not meet more helpful and attentive owners who do genuinely care about your stay.The rooms are tastefully presented in a beautiful old venetian building and kept spotlessly clean. Unlike some apartments, things like a kettle, tea and coffee, water, hairdryer, safe and air con were all provided free of charge. The area was pleasantly busy but there was no intrusive noise in the rooms and all was quiet through the night. The bed was comfy and we slept very well. We would not hesitate to recommend it.

Nice appartement in old Rethymnon ,

Nice view down a little side street to the cathédral. Easy to find. Very helpfull staff. Recommended.

Comfortable and hospitable

It was a great room and the service was incredible. Check in and check out we're quick and painless. We loved our night here.

Great hotel for the price

Pros: Great location right in the Old City. Close to shopping, nightlife, and the water. Excellent price. Friendly owner, who is helpful and available. Cons: This is economy lodging. Don't expect luxury for the price you're paying. The steps above the 2nd level are pretty steep. This could be difficult for an older traveler. Getting up to the 2nd floor wasn't bad though. Overall, I was happy with my stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to any traveler on a budget who wants a great location in the old city.

In the heart of Rethymno

Convenient location, close to the beach, bars and restaurants. Fridge and kettle provided, private toilet/shower room, no other self-catering facilities. Friendly host.

Read the fine print.

I arrived late in the night and was ushered to another room on another street away from the seafront hotel facing other units and walls. This was not what was portrayed in the photos. Next morning I complained and said that this was not what I booked they told me I had not read the terms and conditions carefully. I asked why? I was told that I had asked for a double bed and there were none at this hotel. I said I would take a single then. Why advertise when you can't fulfil? They then moved me to a seafront room with views of the ocean and I was happier. My room didn't have a shower and toilet but I did have my own private bathroom along the corridor. All I can say is read the fine print and make sure you know what you are getting before you go. This hotel was close to everything. Shops, restaurants and beaches all within walking distance. Great location. Room was serviced daily and was very clean.

Modern air conditioned comfortable - very central.

Great hotel. Brothers Stelios & Stavros are local legends of the hospitality scene. They go all out to make each guest feel welcome. Highly recommended.

Pleasant Rooms in Excellent Location

This small pension-hotel is run by twin brothers. They are very genuine and friendly, and went out of their way to make our one-night stay incredibly pleasant. Don't expect any luxury, but the bathroom was newly renovated, and the rooms are pleasant and comfortable--and a skip and a hop to the beach-port-old town. Highly recommended!

Really Nice, Except for...

The hotel was nice, right near the water and in the old city. The manager at the hotel was extremely nice and helpful. The room was very comfortable, clean, and overlooked the harbor. The only complaint is the "private bathroom" which was actually outside the room and down a hallway. And it was only private if you locked yourself in and when finished locked it up. Which may not sound so bad but imagine doing this at 2am. Besides the bathroom issue a very nice place to stay, would be even better wth en-suite facilities.

Fantastic Location

People strolling past looked with envy as I sat in the morning sun on my balcony facing the sea,watching the boats coming and going. In the heart of the old town, a short walk to the Fortezza, it couldn't have been more convenient And all this in a budget option!

Really nice apartments!

The Sea Front Apartments are not necessarily in front of the sea, but they are really nice and well equipped apartments. The staff is really nice too. I would recommend it.

nice hotel

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. I thought I was staying at the main hotel in the pictures that I saw, however, I was in a room behind the street. The studio was nice and I liked the location once I got over the disappointment of not being in the main section.

A pleasant room

Given the price and location of the hotel, I found this quite a nice place to stay. Although the room was very basic, it was quite roomy and was immaculately kept. The staff were very welcoming (the manager was very helpful and it was a lovely touch that he took out a map to explain where the hotel was located, nearby amenities and the clean beaches) and the cleaning efficient. They provided an empty fridge for the guest's use, which was very helpful. A very efficient a/c system cooled the room very quickly.

Nice place to stay

Warm welcome, helpful, friendly staff. Location right in the centre of the old town about 10 minutes walk from the bus station. Beach access down steps at rear of apartment which was very convenient. No lift but bags carried by staff to the room. Good value too, would definitely stay here again.

Owner was super friendly and helpful, great sense of humor,too.

Sea Front rooms in Rethymnon, Crete, Greece

A very pleasant surprise. The owner, Stavros, is one of the nicest, most helpful persons I have ever met. Truly a wonderful experience staying here.

We had a fantastic stay. The apartments are in a great area, located in the Old City and a stone's throw from the beach. The price is great considering it includes a private bathroom and kitchen. We would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic location with friendly staff

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 3 nights and I was pleasantly surprised. The room is basic, but for the price you can't expect luxury! We had a lovely little balcony that looked over a side street, the beds were comfy and the air con was great to have in the heat. Would definitely stay there again if I'm ever back in Rethymno

Lage im Zentrum ist gut. Das Zimmer hatte kein direktes Fenster und in der Nacht war es bis 01.30 relativ laut.

Varmeste anbefalinger! Fantastiske 8 dager på Seafront Hotel. Meget vennlig og høflig betjening, og upåklagelig service. Snakker godt engelsk, og hjelper med alt. Daglig rengjøring. Gode senger, og fin dusj. Vi hadde balkong ut mot havet og gata, mye liv fra barer og restauranter, men HELT stille og godt inne i leiligheten, null bråk. Air cond inkludert i prisen, nydelig. Gåavstand til alt. Takk for oss, vi kommer tilbake. Hilsen rom 6.

Lovely hotel with great views

Nettes kleines Hotel. Ich hatte Glueck und hatte ein sauberes bequemes Zimmer mit Blick auf die Bucht bekommen. Obwohl es viele Bars nach vorne raus gibt, war ich von der Isolierung beeindruckt so dass es nicht allzu laut war. Morgens einen Tee trinken, auf die Bucht schauen, herrlich! Personal sehr nett und tips fuer morgens zum fruehstueck holen. Super zentral. Wuerde definitiv wiederkommen.

Fred og ro i hyggelige omgivelser

Vi boede i et studio med et lille køkken, hvor to personer kunne sidde og spise, et nyt badeværelse og en lille fransk altan, hvor vasketøjet kunne hænges til tørre. Der var fred og ro til trods for at vi boede i den gamle bydel med mange turister og lokale. De to brødre, der ejer stedet, var søde, rare og meget hjælpsomme. Rengøring var bare i orden.

Utmärkt läge

Mycket trevligt välkomnande och en överraskande uppgradering av rumstyp till havsutsikt. Före bytet informerade hotellägaren att det kunde vara lite oväsen på natten pga att det finns restauranger direkt under balkongen på havssidan. Balkongdörr och fönster var dock av bästa ljudreducerande typ så det var bara vid något enstaka tillfälle när överförfriskade skrek ut sin glädje på hemvägen som jag hörde något (det kunde dessutom hänt på andra sidan huset).

Très bon logement. Nous n'avions pas la vue mer mais c'est très bien car sur la mer il y a les restaurants, les odeurs et la musique.

Je recommande

Petit hôtel très bien situé pour visiter Réthymnon. L'hôte est très serviable et nous a recommandé un excellent restaurant de crétois: kyria maria.

Sehr schön, absolut sauber, freundliche hilfsbereite Besitzer. Nachts von der “Seafront“ etwas laut.

Hotel très bien situé. Très propre. Personnel agréable. Nous avons eu la plus mauvaise chambre de l'hôtel, sans fenêtre ouvrant sur l'extérieur mais uniquement sur une cage d'escalier.
