Nice hotel in the heart of Kiruna

The hotel is really good. Comfortable and friendly for families. My room was big enough for a double bed and a double sofa bed.

Family stay

The hotel is really nice. I find that the rooms may be a little tight for a family of four. Other than that, everything was great.

A well placed hotel with good views from where we were situated on the seventh floor. All members of staff we spoke with were friendly and very helpful. The free municipal bus service from the train station was a real bonus. The only thing we were disappointed but was the very limited choice off food served at the hotel.

Scandic kiruna hotel review

It was a beautiful stay with wonderful breakfast and dinner. The receptionists were super nice and friendly which also made it a pleasant stay. They interact with their customers and help them when they need it. As someone who is afraid of elevators I mostly took the stairs but there was one receptionist who was thoughtful and considerate and was very encouraging. One receptionist in particular who we saw the most was friendly and we really enjoyed our stay at Scandic Kiruna and her company. She was called Tilda and was funny, kind, respectful, encouraging, thoughtful and beautifully kind. She was the nicest receptionist we’ve ever met and this was definitely our favourite trip due to the hotel. So thank you Tilda and the rest of the receptionists at Scandic Kiruna

Bad services

We spent 3 nights in the hotel. The room and toilets were not cleaned even once deapite informing on the reception desk multiple times. The toiletries, tea bags, cream and sugar were not topped up at all. Complete lack of service. Will not recommend to anybody.

This hotel is located in the new centre of Kiruna. Currently there are a few shops but not much else in the vicinity. This will change as the area is developed.

Great location. Close to stores and restaurants.

The hotel is awesome. Rooms 712 and 134 were very good. Heated bathroom floors, a BIG dining area and friendly staff. For European standards, the rooms were huge. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Practical choice of accomodation

Close to the airport in the new town. Quiet area with limited options for dining. Requires bus or taxi for sightseeing. Bus to/from airport just outside. Friendly staff. Very basic room amenities- no bath mat, no body lotion, no tissues, no slippers. Clean room. Minimal but palatable food choices at the restaurant buffet dinner.

Lovely hotel, staff was friendly, professional and very helpful!

The Guesthouse was extremely comfortable and ideally situated for the Northern Lights photography that was the main reason for our visit. Our grateful thanks go to Lukus and Keke at the reception area who worked so hard to make us feel welcome and comfortable. New, modern, comfortable.

Very clean, beautiful new hotel. The smallest fridge I have ever seen but it worked very well

It was an excellent hotel for our stay in Kiruna. We were really excited to check out sky bar but unfortunately it was closed for an event during our stay without notice so that was disappointing. They have a beautiful gym so don’t forget your workout gear!

Nice hotel, clean and quaint. The whole town is amazing, the hotel is in their new downtown but the old downtown is just a quick bus ride away. I recommend their restaurant and breakfast buffet, all delicious food!

Lower expectations and it’ll suffice.

New hotel in the under construction center, in the industrial area of town. There’s nothing close by, no restaurants, shops, etc. They should pave the entrance, it’s rough gravel and the parking area is the same, across the road. Nice facility, but not well thought out for opening.

Great for families, with fold down bunk beds suitable for 2 children. Easy buffet-style breakfast. Lovely bar area with views over the area.

Camera pulita e dotata del necessario. Buona posizione. Banco della reception sempre troppo affollato con poco personale, per cui anche per chiedere un'informazione rapida stai in coda molti minuti. È saltata la luce su un intero piano per un pomeriggio intero

Not as cozy as it looks

The best thing about the hotel was the room that was nice and clean. The rest of the hotel was a bit disappointing. From looking at the pictures, I was looking forward to chilling in front of the fireplace with a hot chocolate in the afternoon or starting the day in the sauna. The reality is that the lobby is quite busy with people checking in all the time. Moreover, there is no fire in the fireplace, and the bar was out of cream and hot chocolate. The sauna was beautiful, but doesn’t open until 15.00 and is gender separated. Nice view from the skybar, but the vibe is quite tacky from drinks to selection of pop remixes.

Trivsamt hotell

Ett jättefint hotell i Kiruna. Hade gärna sett att man har lunch på hotellet, annars bra middag.

Absolut inte bra längre.

Katastrof frukost. Stod och ville beställa 2 kvällar i rad, vänta över 20 min båda gångerna. Frukosten va det kaos på. Disk överallt och ingen plocka. På frukosten hinner dom inte få fram ny frukost så det fanns nästan ingenting. Blivit dåligt sista tiden. Hoppas på nya hotellet öppnar snart.

Resturantene var en skuffelse.

Hotellet var nytt og fint. Vennlig betjening. Resturanten var kjedelig og svært begrenset hva man kunne spise.

Trevligt hotell

Blev uppgraderad till ett rum med separat sovrum. Såg ut mot kommunhuset och gruvan. Otroligt fint rum. Lite tråkig mat i restaurangen men fint med skybaren.

Conference weekend

Séjour WE pour conference. Scandic normalement correcte mais ce fois moyen. Attitude du staff est comme ci c'est le premier fois que ils travail dans une hotel ! mal organisé sans direction du management ou le Maitre d'hotel. Aucune nettoyage de notre chambre tout le WE ! a parement il faut demander chaque jour si en veut que la chambre soit nettoyer. Une honte pour le prix du chambre! C'est comme ci Scandic utiliser ce hotel pour une école mais pour les mauvais élevès mais sans les bon Profs. Scandic peut faire mieux !

Trevlig incheckning. Rummet väldigt litet för över 3000:- inga mattor gör allt lite klankigt och sterilt. Ingen garderob, bara hängare. Ingen badrumsmattan gör att handdukar läggs på golvet- trist! I restaurangen väldigt lite personlig kontakt. Ingen information eller prat om meny alls. Fisken slut -skulle informerats om och inga alt fanns, lite väl enahanda meny för ett så pass stort hotell mitt i stan! Samma ang frukost -väldigt lite personal på plats!!!

Dålig info på hotellet om att man måste säga till om man vill få rummet städat. Gick inte att köra fram till hotellet utan man fick själv leta upp en parkeringsplats och ta sig till hotellet.

Utmärkt service

Superbra bemötande i receptionen och tillmötesgående personal. Vi kom lite tidigt till hotellet men fick ändå checka in direkt och dessutom något att äta samt kaffe till det. Väldigt trevlig atmosfär, rena lokaler och mysig dekoration i restaurangen.

Nye Scandic Kiruna

Det nye Scandic i Kiruna har blitt meget bra. Området rundt har fortsatt noe preg av at byen bygges ny, men plasseringen er helt topp. Fasilitetene er meget bra, der særlig gymmen for toppkarakter til hotell å være.

Die Bedienungen im Restaurant waren beide Male leider nicht freundlich, unzuverlässig und extremst langsam.

The hotel and the room were grea

The hotel and the room were great. and breakfast and nice staff everywhere. But it is a bit "unusual" that you have to pay extra if you want to check in before 16:00

Buon hotel turistico, forse il migliore tra i pochi disponibili a Kiruna. Posto in posizione periferica, nell'ambito di una città in ricostruzione, dispone di buoni servizi( palestra, sauna, bar panoramico al 12° piano). Parcheggio gratuito in area di fronte all' hotel. Camere non grandi, ma confortevoli e pulite. Da migliorare il settore ristorazione: breakfast appena sufficiente , ristorante poco attraente per varietà e qualità.

Resturang

Restaurantbesøk på kvelden var en stor skuffelse. Buffeen ble ikke fylt opp som lovet, måtte ta til takke med det lille som var. Kelnerne var veldig lite oppmerksom og vi ble aldri bydd påfyll av drikke.

Bra hotell som skulle kunna bättre

Ett bra hotell med fint rum. Trevligt bemötande av personalen. Givet priset och att hotellet är relativt nytt lämnar standarden lite i övrigt att önska. Väldigt begränsat med lediga eluttag och andra laddningsmöjligheter. Riktigt dålig städning. Vi fick börja med att torka av möbler och golvet på flera ställen, som hade kladdiga fläckar efter spilld dryck. Det saknades även kuddar och handdukar till alla. Läget är toppen och så även frukosten.

Ingen salater f.eks italiensk og lignende under frokost. Eggerøre og "bacon" var knapt lunken. Vi spiste tidlig. Hverken vanlig kaffe eller cappucino var varm.

Bra hotell. Har vært her noen ganger tidligere. Synes at frokosten hadde litt lite utvalg. Ble litt "sjokkert" over en av de ansatte som ryddet bordene, tørket av bordene og lot brødsmuler og eggskall gå i på gulvet. Synes heller ikke noe om at personale henter seg mat og drikke mens frokosten pågår.

Confusion in booking left bad taste

I had booked and paid for a superior room but was given a standard. When asking about it they claimed I had booked a standard. I showed them my booking confirmation which showed it was a superior, but that didn't help as they said they had none left. This left us with a bad taste although they offered to compensate the price difference.

Hotellet var mycket bra, men servicen på restaurangen var urusel. Lång väntan på att få bord, kändes som personalen bara sprang omkring och förbi och ignorerarade oss som väntade på att få bord. Det fanns tomma bord. Lång väntan på att få betala. Dock var maten okej.

Alltså WOW! Högsta betyg. Detta hotell har allt. Men sååå otroligt snyggt och vilka vyer som bjöds på!

Jättetrevlig men okunnig personal i restaurang och bar. Bacon, korvar mm till frukost har alltid varit kalla när jag bott där. Skybar stängd vilket var tråkigt då vyn därifrån är en av anledningarna till att jag valt detta hotell. Meeeen, väldigt trevlig och hjälpsam personal som sagt.

Rummet var extremt dammigt golv, matta och lister! Har inte städats mellan flera incheckningar! Hade varit fräscht med en vädrinsgslucka o fönstren, det blev väldigt varmt o instängt. Duschväggen skulle behöva vara 2 st då att inte hela badrummet blir nerskvätt vid dusch. God frukost, bra läge, butiker o matställen runtom.

+ Tolles Frühstück + sehr gutes Gym + Tolle Sauna + Gute Lage - Keine Schränke für Kleidung - Steckdosen ohne Strom, wenn Karte nicht gesteckt -> Geräte laden nicht mehr - Keine Kleenex, keine Body Lotion im Bad - Kein Handtuch für den Badezimmerboden - Housekeeping nur on request und selbst dann unzuverlässig - Schließkonzept in der Sauna nicht durchdacht: man kann sich ausschließen - Für dir Locker in der Sauna braucht man ein Vorhängeschloss. Sagt einem aber niemand an der Rezeption

Fräsch och bekväm

Nybyggd, ren och fräsch. Sköna sängar. Bra läge in nybyggda centrum. Härligt gym och spa med utsikt över staden. Utomhus gratisparkering några steg från hotellet. Undvik parkeringshuset bakom hotellet, infarten är bedrövligt nog helt felbyggd och alldeles för trångt, stor risk att skrapa i om man har större bil.

Hotellopphold

Hotellet var flott, men renholdet var ikke bra. Rommet var ikke støvsuget. Så ut som om det var hundehår i sofaen. Ute på gangen kunne det ikke vært støvsuget på flere dager. Frokosten var bra, selv om baconet og eggerøren var lunken.( 10min etter at frokosten var begynt)

Dårlig luft inne på rommet, fikk byttet en gang. Kanskje litt bedre. Temperaturen veldig høy, fikk ikke stilt inn til svalere temperatur. 4 stk på rommet, det ble veldig varmt. Problemet med nettet også, ingen krise det.

Restaurant Mommassom som er i forbindelse med hotellet. Der er betjeningen ret dårlig og maden var bestemt hellere ikke særlig god.

Trevligt hotell med en fin takbar med vackert utsikt. Gym och spa va också jätte bra. Nackdel var att mitt rum var väldigt lyhört. Restaurangen var inget vidare. Dåligt utbud och min mat var sådär.

空港からも近くまたスーパーも近くとても良い立理でした。ホテルのスタッフ、環境も良かった。

Accommodatie was prima. Alles was ruim en mooi opgezet. Voor de prijs was het ontbijt erg matig zeg maar gerust slecht.

Scandic Kiruna 2024

Nästan nytt hotell, allt var nytt och fräscht. Fina rum men klimatsystemet funkar inte så bra. Vi hade 24,6 grader i rummet och det gick inte att sänka eller öppna några fönster. Bra frukost men total förvirring för alla gäster att hitta det man skulle äta och sitta någonstans. Bra utsikt från takbaren.

Inte prisvärt

Rum och service är medelmåttiga till sanslöst dyra priser. Gillar Scandic men väljer bara Scandic Kiruna när andra hotell är fullbokade

Det luktade avlopp på hotellrummet som var fruktansvärt. Vilket inte gick att göra något åt. Omöjligt för den som städat rummet innan att man missat detta. Låg även snorpapper på golvet vid sängen. Men personalen var underbar och hjälpsam. Både killen som stod i receptionen, stor stjärna till honom. Samt personalen i restaurangen.

Toppen för din Kirunavistelse

Toppenhotell. Nytt och fräscht. Väldigt bra frukost. Det enda minuset var att det bara var frukost till kl 9 med ett fullbokat hotell i mellandagarna vilket ledde till köer och trängsel vid frukosten.

Hôtel splendide, prestation petit déjeuner au top. Beaucoup de choix de nourriture. Par contre service du restaurant du soir compliqué ; serveurs désagréables, qui ne connaissent pas la carte et nous donne les informations au dernier moment, trop d'attente... 02h30 pour manger un plat du jour et un burger qui ne sont même pas complets... avec la réservation en avance je ne comprends pas pourquoi nous n'avons pas eu accès tous les soirs au restaurant et que nous ayons dû réserver vu le prix du séjour c'est navrant.

Great hotel - We will come back

Great hotel. Very friendly and serviceminded staff. The breakfast is amazing. We had the evening buffet the first day, and that was really good. The skybar is cool, but a little upgrade for snacks and small courses could be good. Sauna is a must in the afternoon.
