Good location. But did not get the room we paid for they wanted more money. Was not a great welcome.

A great stay !!! Considering other accommodations in Venezia this one stands out as one of the best. Highly hospitable staff and excellent accommodations. Highly recommended to future guests and I would return without any hesitation

Nice quiet spot outside of the main busy areas. Old hotel with big suites. Noise from other rooms (steps and other) can be very bothersome at night.

Excellent hotel near St. Marks Square! Their staff is very friendly, nice bar and restaurants everywhere. When we return to Venice, we will book this hotel again!

Beautiful property, I have 4 stars because the ground floor room is extremely noisy and that perfume smell that’s so strong in the lobby is terrible. It gets on your cloths and make you nauseous Stuff are excellent and the communication is excellent

Wonderful stay!

A very quiet, clean, safe hotel. The staff were amazing! Very attentive and helpful. Reno (spelling) the gentleman working in the bar and surrounding areas gives exceptional service! The location was close to main attractions, the room was spacious and clean. Definitely recommend staying here!

Property was nice and clean although for paying a large amount of money compared to others it was disappointing for some things. Our queen bed was 2 twins pushed together with a large lip in between. Could not lay anywhere near the middle without the edge pushing into your back. Basically had to sleep on 2 individual beds while sharing one blanket. Also did not have any “do not disturb” signs if we did not want our room cleaned. They cleaned our room at 240pm which is when we got back to our room to change before a booked activity. We were told we had to wait outside until they were done. Would not have been an issue normally but we then missed our activity departure because of this wait. Staff were nice and breakfast was good although an extra 20 euros each on top of the stay. Just a few below average points I did not expect for this hotel. For 20 euros each you can get a better breakfast roaming the streets of Venice!

We stayed here for our 25 th anniversary. Decided to stay in Venice for another night unfortunately they were booked. The manager was so helpful and immediately reserved a room for us nearby! Just amazing . Absolutely beautiful room in gorgeous hotel. Thank you for an amazing stay in Venice and all your help. Pam Cornacchia

We had a fabulous stay at the Ruzzini Hotel…. It was well situated in the area. We really enjoyed spending time at the cafes in the square that it was located. The hotel rooms were nice, clean, and had comfortable beds.

Overall good

The palace itself was beautiful, I loved our canal view room. The staff were amazing from the minute I booked our stay to checkout. They were very accommodating, attentive and had lots of options available to us in terms of private pickups and transfers ( arrive by water taxi- it’s more easy to arrive that way and beautiful), food and drinks. Thank you.

Wonderful staff who went over the top for us to arrange private tours, transportation, restaurants, etc. Great location, very comfortable room and amazing service. Highly, highly recommend!!

The staff were amazing! They got us safely to our Mediterranean cruise in Trieste. Our driver was excellent, and made the trip so smooth. Order their Margarita Pizza, it’s so delicious ❤️ Thank you so much!

Excellent staff. Especially the bartender and concierge. Free snacks with every drink order to the room. It's also amazing how far a small 5 Euros tip goes here appreciation wise.

Stylish

The director kindly moved our room. It was very hot day in Venice and the original room had the sun all day and the ac was less strong. Stunning hotel in a quiet area but so close to san Marco. Employees were very kind and we did not feel like tourists

This hotel is well located, incredibly clean, our room was spacious, the amenities offered were what I was hoping for, and the staff was helpful and friendly. I would most certainly visit again and highly recommend

Lovely property would stay again.

Our stay here was amazing! The staff was fantastic, our room was great and the location was perfect. Location was just a few minutes walk to everything we wanted to do. Lots pf restaurants nearby for dining. Our room was maybe the coolest room we have ever stayed in. It was not the typical room with the super high ceilings with beams, the unique walls, enormous windows and treatments. It definitely was a stay in a palace! And if you happen to be a Spider Man fan - the plaza it is on is in Far from home! :)

I liked the fact that there were nice large rooms available, we had a suite overlooking one of the smaller canals, and I also liked the large open square outside the front door, and access to shopping and restaurants. The only drawback for us was the sound transferring from the room above us, and the unfortunate use of a very industrial smelling air freshening chemical that permeated our bedroom air conditioning. I have no idea why this was necessary as there was no unpleasant smells from the canals at all so I wish they would discontinue using this product as it reminded me of the sort of air freshening agent you get in urinals.

Absolutely stunning hotel right on the canal on a nice quiet square walking distance from everything. Historic property that makes you feel like you yourself are the Doge of Venice!

Awesome, helpful, kind staff, both at the front desk and in the restaurant. Clean, historic, nice room and bathroom. A large and delicious breakfast offering. Free shuttle to Murano. Staff was gracious about ordering water taxis as needed.

What a gorgeous property. I really felt like royalty entering our room which was decked out with plenty of luxuries. The bed was very comfortable and the sheets high end. I didn’t want to leave. One negative was the breakfast. I expected more for an extra 20 euros. Would recommend venturing out to eat.

Best bartender in Arezzo!

Loved the hotel and its location. I had room 300 which was definitely 4 stars plus. I totally loved the bartender. I spent two nights alone with my husband back in Arezzo and the bartender could not have been friendly or kinder. Great snacks at cocktail hour. I totally recommend this hotel.

Excellent hotel in Venice where we go one a year

Beautiful historical Venetian property in a convenient and quiet neighborhood. Wonderful and accommodating staff, a great bartender (thanks Rino!) and clean and comfortable rooms. Great home base for our two days in Venice.

Small but lovely

Good location with an easy walk to all the main attractions. The hotel is stunning and very small at less than 30 rooms but the staff are attentive and friendly.

Had a great two night stay at the Ruzzini Palace Hotel and we highly recommend it. We splurged on one of the larger suites that are over 900 square feet and it was well worth it. The rooms are beautifully appointed and the large separate living area away from the bedroom was amazing and complete with an outdoor balcony overlooking the canal. The staff were attentive and special recognition to the bartender who served up some amazing cocktails accompanied with a perfect combination of cocktail snacks. Having a before dinner drink in the bar was a highlight of the overall experience. Treat yourself to this hotel.

Website shows rooms with gorgeous views. After paying in full, I was put in the room next door to the reception desk. Low ceiling, dark room, no view at all except of bushes outside window. I was so disappointed. Also the only hotel of 5 I stayed in in Europe that didn't provided breakfast in room charge, it was an additional 20 euros per person! I would not recommend this hotel. How it could put any guest in that room after its ads, is beyond me. Only hotel of my 19 day trip that is getting a bad review.

the best hotel on my trip to Italy

Excellent service! Wonderfully clean and air conditioned rooms with friendly and accommodating staff. The only thing I feel there could be room for improvement is the quality of their breakfast. Other than that, a fantastic stay!

Great, centrally located property in Venice. Location made our 2 night stay very easy & accessible. Staff was very friendly & helped make arrival/departure arrangements for us! Room was beautiful - felt like in Venice Italy!

What an amazing property! It was gorgeous! So elegant and comfortable that my 15 year old son refused to leave the room. The staff was very polite and kind.

Location was excellent to easily walk to different sites and hotel staff were very responsive and helpful.

Great service! They arranged for private transport for arrival from the airport to the hotel. When we arrived at the hotel, we were greeted positively after a long day of traveling. They helped settle us in our room, which was nice large and clean. We needed two rooms, both were right next to each other as we were a family of four. Everything felt super personalized from the evening happy hour bar to the morning breakfasts. They helped reserve dinners for us. The hotel is in a perfect location, walking distance to all the main places, but in a quieter area. Would definitely recommend to others and would return again!

Not worth the price, room set up was not convenient and breakfast they serve is not good. Staff was great and walkable distance to near by attractions was good.

Fabulous hotel. We (a family of four) had one of the best holiday stays of our lives there. Incredible historic property. Great location for accessing the rest of Venice by foot. Wonderful service at all times. Would recommend the hotel-arranged transport (including water taxi) to and from the airport.

Our stay at Ruzzini Palace was amazing!!! The staff was attentive, extremely helpful, and so welcoming. We received amazing recommendations for everything from the cheapest place to take out euros to the best way to see Venice to the best drinks to order in the city. We stayed over Christmas and had concerns there wouldn’t be much open. The hotel helped us make reservations at great restaurants for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. They also coordinated a boat tour of the city for Christmas Day. The hotel is right on a canal, so it’s very easy to get a water taxi directly from the lobby! The suite we stayed in was breath taking. It had a view of a canal with a private patio. The room was incredibly spacious. The decor of the room and the entire hotel really captured the history of the property well. I would absolutely recommend staying here! I will be back for my next trip to Venice.

Exquisite hotel which combines old world elegance and modern amenities. Convenient to Piazza San Marco and Rialto Bridge. Staff was consistently courteous, very professional, and went out of their way to be helpful. An exceptional experience and would absolutely return.

Suite was large, cool, and clean - honestly probably the best hotel room I've ever stayed in.

Beautiful and elegant historic hotel. I’ve stayed in a lot of hotels, and this could be the most elegant one.Very nice and helpful staff easy to walk anywhere in Venice although you will get lost, navigation doesn’t work well there. Pretty much going anywhere in. either don’t bring a lot of luggage, or take a water taxi, which can dock right at the back of the hotel. Again, elegant hotel, and great staff.

The hotel room was a complete 180 from the Paris hotel. It was very roomy. The closet/dressing area was about the same size as the entire bedroom in Paris. The service was what you would expect from a palace. They were formal and genuinely accommodating. True gentlemen. The room had a hot tea pot maker and also had a safe (pet peeve of mine when traveling abroad). The location was assessable by boat or on foot. It was in very easy walking distance to everything really. I do wish that they had a coffee pot or an Expresso machine in the room. We would stay here again. www.leilaniheno.com

Fantastic hotel

We stayed in the royal suite which was spacious, very high ceilings with fantastic fresco on the ceiling of both rooms. It felt like we were staying in a renaissance palace. It was a one of a kind experience and well worth it for any special trip to Venice.

The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. We had a difficult time cooling our room and the manager upgraded our room to something nicer that cooled down a bit quicker. It’s conveniently located near plenty of sightseeing, but just far enough away from all the commotion. The rooms feel soundproof because you can hear people in the canals from the bathroom, but the noise disappears once you’re in the bed. I do recommend taking the public or private water taxi if you’re carrying luggage though. It’s a far walk with luggage from the bus/train station. Nice hotel, I’d be happy to return in the future.

Great Location and an even better staff

Very nice and helpful staff, great location but the building is very old (in a good and bad way). Breakfast is rather uneventful, I’d expected more. Rooms have a very high ceiling, decorated very old fashioned (that’s the good thing) but don’t even have an outlet for the phone next to the bed. It’s not modern at all and the water pressure in the bathroom is very very low. So it takes a while to shower. Overall the location is what you’re paying for, not really the facility.

Good location, nice rooms. Breakfast is mediocre, one is much better having it at many places close to the hotel.

The decor of our suite, the guests lounge, lobby....all were beautiful ! Very professional staff. The best of all the hotels we stayed in, in Italy this year.

Fabulous hotel

Really lovely little find in Venice, great location from the busy areas but close enough to get t everything. The room was lovely and big we had a canal view, but we spent such little time in the room it was not worth the extra money. The staff are super friendly and the art work in the lobby is amazing. Only down side for me was the breakfast, i did not think it was 20 euros, especially if you are a vegetarian.

Loved the experience at Ruzzini Palace. Its right on the canal nothing like pulling up to the hotel on the water. Room was beautiful and the most comfortable bed we had during our entire Italian vacation. Location was great. We walked to St. Mark's, Realto bridge etc. Our room even had a balcony overlooking the Piazza. Wish I was still there.

Beautiful old palace turned into a hotel. It felt very grand and was a fun stay. Location was great too! We had a suite that accommodated our family of 4. The front desk and concierge were exceptional! They were very friendly and helpful. I recommend and would stay here again.

We're happy for having chosen Ruzzini for our stay in Venice. Very nice location, it's a small hotel but plenty of space in the room. Very convenient breakfast, although you can find a lot of options to eat just by walking through the big square in front of the hotel. The cherry on top of the pie: directly in guest services, you can arrange a water taxi that can pick you up right at the back door of the reception, a little bit expensive but it is worth it when you are in a hurry or full of baggage
