When my partner and I arrived, our sheets looked like they had been slept in already. There were hairs and stains on the sheets that were obviously new. Staff was understanding and provided (only half of) of a set new sheets, but this shouldn't have happened in the first place. The showers in the small double rooms are also very very small, my partner had to lean out of the door to even attempt to shower. Do not go for this room if you are not a very petite person. The rooms are dated like other reviews have mentioned, but normally I would consider that charming. The tv was hung crooked and did not work well.
Convent location. Staff is improper and rude. Cold rooms. Small showers. Mold in showers. Window was left open upon arrival in winter season. Old water left in tea pot. Good for a quick vacation.
Good price for value.
Location is the only good thing.
I booked a prepay only room for a week. When booking I asked for a first floor room as I knew there was no elevator and I have a bad knee that makes it difficult to climb many stairs. I was told there were no rooms Available on ground floor but there were on the first. I paid. When I arrived, I was told there were no rooms “in my category” on the first floor and I’d have to go up to second floor. I had two suitcases and they did not offer to help nor did they offer a different room. Forty four steps to ground every time I left and forty four back to my room when I returned. The stairs are tilted to the side. We used our level and they were 10 degree tilt on second set of stairs. The beds were old and extremely hard. You know when you see the mattress with blue and white pin stripe that they are infirmary type mattresses. We had to use the duvet blanket as a mattress topper and the bed scarf as a blanket. The windows seemed to be original and did not close completely. There was wind coming through the gaps. This was compounded by the fact the heater did not work in our room. The desk clerk brought a portable heater that had bent wheels and the heating element touched the carpet. We wouldn’t use it at night for fear of melting the carpet or worse. We could hear the neighboring rooms inhabitants talking. Nothing understandable, but noise nonetheless when it was time for sleeping. There are many better choices than this in Earls Court.
As a solo female traveller, I felt very safe at this property! The staff was very kind and it is super close to the Earls Court metro station so super easy to get to the popular attractions. Also lots of easy-food nearby like McDonalds and Cafe Nero
We loved our charming room. It was spacious and had a lot of natural light. At first I was concerned that it was in the basement but with the high ceilings and tall windows it felt open and airy. The bathroom was a good size and we loved that it had some universal plugs. The room service was outstanding with clean towels and stocked up cookies. We stayed 6 days. The front desk was staffed 24 hours and they made us feel very welcome! You can't beat the location either. The tube is just around the corner past a local supermarket and McDonald's. We will definitly be back!
If youre like me and only want a safe and quiet place to sleep that is a good value, Rushmore is for you. Steps from the Tube and literally dozens of restaurants of every ilk. Ive stayed there twice and will be back.
Nothing to add
Ok but…
Staff were friendly. Suitable for our visit. Bathroom was aged with damp visible on the ceiling. Curtains weren’t the greatest, bed comfy enough
It was nice
Great location Very nice host!! Cd use water and better towels but overall good experience for price
Balcony door seemed very flimsy, room next door had access to my balcony, plug sockets coming away from the wall, blood stain on mattress, one reception staff was very pleasant but another staff member later didn’t even look up from her phone, would not recommend or stay there again
Photos were deceiving
The property is near shopping and restaurants but it’s like a house made into rooms. Heat was bare minimum, no elevators, nothing.
Great location
This hotel is in a great location, very close to Earls court tube station. We were in a twin room, the mattresses were very uncomfortable but other that that we had a pleasant stay. Staff were all friendly. They topped up the tea and coffee supplies. Shower was good pressure.
Friendly, comfortable and convenient
The location was incredible a block from the underground. That was the best part! The room was simple and clean and quiet. The front desk staff was lovely. The only down side was the bathroom was tiny. Think airplane lavatory tiny. The shower was 24”x24”. Very easy to get claustrophobic. It did the job but it was tiny.
Would return!
The place is perfect for a few days' stay. Excellent spot in the city: Earl''s Court station is just around the corner, so it's easy to reach all the destinations. It's very silent at night which is a big plus. Staff is very friendly and welcoming!
To expensive for what it is.
We paid more to stay at the Rushmore in London which at best is a 1-star hotel than we paid for a luxury hotel in Dublin that included breakfast and free shuttle service to the airport. Very small rooms for three people. Shower was also very small.
Very friendly staff. Good location
Comfortable
Central heating not working in 2 rooms Otherwise very comfortable
No hair dryer. Windows did not open. A little run down and old. 64 stairs up to my room and no elevator nor staff offering to help with luggage. Advice - pay an addition 30 quid and go somewhere else. Lots of adjacent hotels,
Good overall
As our stay was only one night we could not really judge everything. It was good overall except the small coffee lounge that they advertised was being refurbished. There were plenty of eating and drinking places within fifty yards of the hotel and Earls Court tube station again about 50-60 yards of the hotel.
Staff super friendly, and room and bathroom well presented and clean. Bed was comfy, and tv in the room was nice! You can hear other people moving around as it seems to be a converted town house so walls maybe thinner than purpose built hotels, but that didn’t bother me at all. Would definitely stay again!
I would have liked and elevator. We find it difficult to get out suitcase up the stairs.
The room was really too small for two people. There's no way that was a double bed - perhaps it was a large twin. We are not large people but we barely fit in the shower, although the water pressure was excellent. The hotel is quaint and it's in a good neighborhood but it looks much better from the outside than on the inside.
You have toclimb up 4 floors with your luggage...not a good experience
No elevator to get to second or third floor. No ramp tl get to the lobby. Bathroom is so small. The beds are very uncomfortable. Place is dirty.
My room(s) in this hotel was a good relative value for the price. I experienced a complication with a leak coming from the ceiling, which in older buildings like this wasn't too surprising, and the gentlemen working at the desk helped me get moved to a different room for the rest of my stay. The room was compact but tidy and I slept well in the bed.
Rooms are tiny - bathroom particularly so. Staff were noisy during the night. Location was good (v close to Earls Court tube station).
Stayed for 2 nights. Do not recommend staying here unless you don't care about cleanliness and are on a tight budget. Pros: - Location is great. Very close to the Earl's Court Station. - Decent size room for 1 person. Cons: The room was simply dirty from the moment I first got there. I can tell that the toilet and sink were not cleaned from the previous guests. The sink didn't even drain properly as I would brush my teeth and have to wait a few minutes for the sink to drain before I could wash my face. The shower head was nasty and old. The toilet was dirty and had stains in it. Since I stayed for two nights, the housekeeper did enter and leave new towels so I know that they were in the room but did not care enough to actually clean the bathroom. Also, the bed had lots of hairs from previous guests so I wouldn't be surprised if the sheets weren't even changed between guests. This is out of their control as it's an old building, but it also didn't help that the walls are paper thin and I could hear my neighbors as if I was in the same room as them.
Excellent option!
Great location. Hotel is a lovely old building but that comes with some dated aspects and very small shower/bathrooms.
We accidentally made a double booking for a 3 night stay. Expedia was willing to do refund but hotel management never responded to any e-mails. The extra room was rented out for 2 of the 3 nights we were there. I’m deeply disappointed that management never responded.

Fabulous location, on the tube line direct from Heathrow. Lift access at Earls Court station also. So close to tube but hotel quiet. Amazing restaurants and good food options. Very very convenient. Staff super friendly and helpful. Let us check in early. Only slight negative is the mould on the ceiling in the bathroom,( the rest of the room is super clean snd serviced daily) The room was small but had everything we needed. Thanks so much
The hotel was basic but staff were very pleasant and helpful. Service was very efficient. Toilet was a bit small but managable.
The hotel was perfect for our needs. Beds and linden changed evrry day. 2mins to earls court tube.
Great location, near Earls court station. Check-in was super fast. The room felt slightly small for 2 people but it was very clean and comfortable. We were on the 3rd floor so there was a lot of stairs to climb and no lift (keep that in mind if you have luggage). Wi-Fi worked well and it was nice to have a kettle with tea/coffee available. I do recommend this place and I will happily stay here again.
The location of this hotel was absolutely brilliant! The staff were super friendly as well. The room was small but is what was expected for the price, and the shower wasn’t great. However, for somewhere just to sleep it is really great and would definitely return.
Amazing location. Super close to Earls Court station. Excellent restaurants on high street just a short walk away. It was a low cost option in the area so we were happy to accept less than swanky rooms. I only ding the place for cleanliness as one room had a bit of an odor. In general it could be cleaner. Also needs some work but that’s hardly an issue. It’s an old building. Morning staff was lovely. Very helpful. If you plan on doing a lot of tourism and want to save money then absolutely consider staying here. If you need amazing accommodations then skip it and pay more!
Had excellent room with balcony
Beds were terrible. The place is like a big closet so small. 3 flights of steep stairs also to climb the 3 days we were there . Hotel desk lady did a good job friendly and helpful but the accommodation is not good especially if you’re from America and your used to thing being a lot bigger I don’t recommend this . Extremely hot.
Convenient and quite and good facilities
Great stay and close to the tube.
Bathroom was awful and no AC in very hot temp.
We spent a lovely nights there,, it is a safe and quiet area. 2 min walk from Underground. Staff were lovely
Location was great as easy to get to tube station just around the corner. Bathroom was not great. Water was leaking out of roof in shower amd looked like the whole roof was going to come down.we were told the hotel is full so nothing they good do. The basin water was flooded and water went down very slowly. The extractor fan was not working and therefore so hot and hard to breathe in bathroom.
There is no elevator and no AC.
Staff very friendly and helpful
Nice for a few days! No air conditioning really catches up to you
We needed a last minute hotel in a bind and we were at the hotel within a couple hours of making this reservation. Our room was already ready before check in and they let us check in early for free. The front desk was so kind and you could not beat the service or convenience for the price of this room!
Bathroom is in dire need of upgrading
Ok if you want location, but not clean or comffy
The location is excellent and the staff is great. The hotel needs repairs, better cleaning, new rugs. Towels / linens were old and in bad condition.
Excellent location only a couple minutes from train station. Excellent staff. A bit noisy close to main road. But great otherwise. Great for late check in and will safely store luggage for the day.
Very good for my stay.
This was a last minute booking, so it was hard to find something for same day in London under £200 a night. Which is wild but true. So we felt lucky to get this hotel. Staff here are really nice, and let us look at two rooms and pick the one we preferred. Really excellent people. The hotel is simple but solid for the price, and for a last minute booking the price was totally fair. The room was a decent size and had a view of the street, the windows opened to let in a lovely breeze. It was safe the beds were comfy and clean, so again all good for what I paid last minute. Just Some things to be aware of, WiFi drops in and out which is tough for work, but it was free and the same can’t be said for a lot of other hotels in London even the more costly ones. Just an idea but maybe a faster more stable option that you can upgrade and pay for would be good. Some other things to be consider is there’s no shampoo or conditioner so come prepared. They have hairdryers but you have to ask for them but the toughest part for me was It was a bit noisy, but to be clear I am a VERY light sleeper and my son slept through the night, with no issues. Overall it’s a simple hotel and room but you’re not paying fancy prices & the location is excellent. The main plus though is the team who are so nice and friendly which goes a HUGE way to giving you a wonderful experience.
Very basic facilities Cramped room only just bigger than the bed Shower dreadfully narrow Window falling apart Dusty room Good supply of hot water and strong shower head TV worked well Wi-Fi good Very noisy street into small hours
The property is very dated, beds a little uncomfortable. We were right at the top of the building, and room smelt very damp, and fusty. No lift.
Convenient for the tube station
Pésimo, baños tupidos, no aire acondicionado, sucios, mal trato del customer services, no elevador. Debería estar cerrado este hotel y no lo de erizan tener dentro del listado de hoteles a ofrecer.
The property was just a two minute walk from Earls Court Underground Station and from most pubs and restaurants in the area. A very bustling area. We have stayed there on numerous occasions whilst attending the Cinch Tennis Championships at the Queens Club and would have no hesitation in re-booking in the future.
Just want to mention how friendly those staffs were. And the location was excellent, lots of restaurants nearby. You can reach the tube station in less than a minute, will definitely book again when I visit the city next time.
We had a great experience with the property
Area perfect 5 minutes from Earl Court Tube, staff very friendly room clean. Only downside is the rooms are a little dated and feels slightly cramped. But ideal as a base for exploring London. Also there is no lift and the stairs from the 1st to 2nd floor are very steep. Overall an enjoyable stay
Good value at Earl's Court in London
Excellent location -- 100 meters from Earl's Court Underground station -- lots of dining all around. Downers are: No lift -- no hairdryer -- no in room safe and small rooms. Extra Positives are: Great TV channels, 24 hour front desk, very clean and functional bathroom and good value for money.
Nice staff and clean room, but the photos are not representative of the actual rooms.
This hotel was perfect for us, the receptionist was so accommodating and friendly. We were staying 2 nights, the room was clean and quiet, metro is just around the corner and we recommend Over and Under for breakfast, also just around the corner.
Simple, clean, quiet. Ideal for my needs
.
We loved the location, it is right around the corner from the earls Court underground station and had so many amenities in the area. The staff were lovely and went above and beyond. The room was pretty basic but clean and quiet. The internet was awful and we often couldn’t connect.
Easy check-in, very closer to the train station and lots of restaurants around by. Bed was comfortable and had a good night sleep. Shower area is very tiny but not a big deal as we stayed there for a couple of nights. I would definitely stay again in the future.
Lovely hotel
Excellent value, friendly receptionist, comfortable room with balcony.
Great location with the tube station just around the corner. Staff were friendly and helpful. Bed clean and comfortable. Window in the room would not close and outside hinge was hanging off. Black mildew all around the window. Curtain pole also hanging off wall. Bathroom in need of upgrade. Silicone poorly applied and looked dirty. Shower head so clogged up we did not use it.
The smallest bedroom I’ve ever stayed in, together with the smallest shower. The staff were pleasant enough but the stay could only be described as an existence with few redeeming features.
The Rushmore is a really nice hotel. All new accommodations in our room and bath. Nice quiet room. Friendly staff who even offer a hair dryer at check-in! I hope to come again!
The property is in a great location close to a tube stop with plenty of places to eat and drink around, the room was good for the location, staff were friendly.although if your not good with stairs there is no lift.
Nice
Hotel is in good area
Location! Location! Location!
Safe, clean, comfortable, with a great location. The Earls Court neighborhood is bustling with good restaurants and the Earls Court station can get you to just about everywhere you want to go. The Piccadilly line that runs to and fro Heathrow stops at Earls Court...very handy.
I enjoyed my stay with the Rushmore hotel. It was a humble and homey space with lots of access to shops, restraunts and the tube.
The room was clean and bed was comfortable. The staff were very nice and helpful. A very good location near all amenities and close to the tube station.
Great location and friendly staff.
Great location being close to the tube and a lot of amenities. Friendly staff. Can be noisy at night as it is close to a main street. Average cleanliness.
Pleasant clean room, nice staff
Nice room, clean, lovely hot shower, and the staff were nice and welcoming. Good value. No frills but all completely satisfactory.
It was clean and the staff were very pleasant. The shower was so tiny that I couldn’t even move my arms in it. I was given a tiny room on the 3rd floor and the stairs were old and rickety. There was no lift.
.
Basic, Small, Clean
Good location for the underground station and bars/restaurants in Earls Court. Rooms small but clean.
The property was fantastic value. The room was small, but it was all that we (a young* couple) needed. The price was very fair and the space was great, but not exactly some spotless modern-chic high rise. If you enjoy quaint, comfortable, classic style, the Rushmore is perfect. A few steps from the Underground made it incredibly convenient for us. Didn't get in a taxi for 3 days and went all over the city and to the airports. We actually landed at Standset, and flew out of Gatwick and Heathrow (had to split up, sadly). And it was SIMPLE!
This is a very quaint English hotel. The location right around the corner from Earl’s Court tube station was perfect for access to Heathrow and travel to any of the main attractions. There were plenty of dining options and a Tesco nearby. There are lots of stairs and no lift, which was a bit difficult with luggage. Our beds and pillows were very uncomfortable, but the room itself was clean and had all we needed. Staff was lovely and helpful.
Loved the location , room was very clean , good beds , Staff pleasant ,overall basic, no lift , bathroom light/fan needs looking at noise terrible
I was a good place to spend the night. Quiet and clean and it had heat and hot water.
A cosy place that offers a personal touch. Front desk staff are friendly. Location in Earls Court is excellent. The tube station is a 3-minute walk. Loads of food choices within walking distance. The room assigned to us was a little rundown and could do with some refurbishment but overall, it was a good stay.
Second time i have stayed. The property is ok for a budget hotel. Shower quite cramped. Decoration needed but what put me off was there was a mouse which i didnt discover until the morning. Reported to reception. For this reason i probably wont stay again especially as there are better and often cheaper hotels in the area.
Pretty we very close to the Earl’s Court station which was only good thing about the experience . I would totally avoid this property as room was smelly the bathroom shower was literally hanging and so small you can’t even fit and every time you open the tap in the bathroom there was foul smell as it was blocked or something g . Really horrible experience overall
Good location close to Earl’s Court tube station, pub and restaurants. No elevator, difficult to move up and down the room with luggages. Room soundproofing is poor, our voices can be hear by the person next door and vice vers
Good location, very kind staff and quick check in. Would definitely recommend.
Nice place to stay will stay there again
Good location for the underground. Clean and tidy and not too expensive.

Great experience with staff
