4 night stay in December.
Stayed for 4 nights in December and had a very relaxing time in our two bed villa which was spacious and comfortable. Reception service was excellent as was service in the restaurant for breakfast. A short taxi ride to Caleta or Fanabe gives access to plenty of restaurants and bars.
I recommend staying here
Luxury marred by noisy road
Good rooms spoilt by noisy traffic. Essentially you are getting a fully serviced luxury villa plus some public areas typical of the hotel. The gardens are lush and the rooms lavish. There is much to entertain the eye, the hotel designer seems to have had an extravagant budget and the rooms are crammed with a melange of elegant objects. Sadly no thought was given to the labours of the housekeeping team, and there are pockets of evidence suggesting that the miracles required to keep the clutter in pristine condition does not always happen. The hotel manager Fiona is clearly a force of nature and guests are lucky to have her on their side. The real issue with the hotel is the noise and I am surprised no other review has mentioned the road. There is a building development to the north of the property and as we were in the south of the property this was of little direct issue for us. The hotel is situated near good golfing facilities which will please some, but for those preferring more rational pursuits they may be hoping for peace and relaxation. Sadly, this hotel is built on a thin strip of land, flanked by two roads along its lengths. One of these roads is a main access route for this strip of coast. As a country mouse, I may be a bit sensitive to road noise, but I am sure that even urbanites grimace as motorbikes thunder down the road as they are occasional prone to. I’d only recommend to those hard of hearin
The property is located a bit off the beach but it was really easy to get to. RGV staff were all attentive and accommodating. All requests were met quickly and with courtesy. The room was kept impeccably. The dining room was great, however our dinner entrees were not hot. But all was wonderful and we would definitely recommend the property to family and friends.
Absolutely gorgeous holiday! Staff were so accommodating and helpful. We felt like A-List celebs. View = beautiful, villa = stunning, breakfast = delicious, facilitates = magnificent!!!
Unusual and very spacious!
My stay was fantastic. I always feel welcome, at home and comfortable. The rooms and property are beautifully designed and give you the feeling like you never want to leave. The staff are equally as amazing. I cannot stress enough how truly warm and kind everyone is, they make it a pleasure to stay there. The app makes it easy to contact reception as well as WhatsApp. Anything you need is always within reach.
Beautiful small hotel. Staff are outstanding, every one of them. Other than the golf course across the road there’s nothing nearby but taxis are easy to get and cheap. We had a lovely relaxing time in this hotel.
We had a lovely 5 days at the Royal Garden Villas. The staff were very friendly and all very prompt on the service. However, there needs to be some entertainment and the bar needs to be open until later. Other than that we had a lovely stay.
Amazing
Amazing and the most beautiful place
Fabulous!
Our trip was amazing from start to finish We went for my partners 30th birthday and the staff went above and beyond to make his experience great! We stayed in the grand duchess villa which was fabulous, will definitely return in future
It was amazing time in the hotel! Friendly staff and amazing service. The best hotel ever.
Pure luxury
A really stunning hotel. Our villa was beautiful, spacious and private. Royal Garden Villas offers the best of both worlds. All the facilities and services of a five star hotel but the space and privacy of your own luxury villa and pool. The spa and restaurant were fantastic. Fiona and the team couldn’t be more helpful. Would highly recommend.
Located in a quiet place the villa was very clean and equipped with everything we needed. The staff were always attentive and friendly.. overall stay was relaxing and comfortable I would definitely visit again
Amazing but shame about the building works
Amazing place and great service. Only thing that spoilt the otherwise perfect holiday was very noisy building works close by. Appreciate that this is out of the hotel’s control but as it is likely to be going on for a couple of years I think we should have been made aware at the time of booking. Rocks being broken at over 80db at tones meant you couldn’t even have a conversation outside! If you can live with this then otherwise everything else superb. Room/villa amazing. Staff and food fantastic. Good value for money
Satisfied
Satisfied and would recommend...
Gorgeous villa
The villas are amazing, perhaps a little on the cluttered side, generally they are very clean, but top shelves of the wardrobes not dusted at the back and under curtains in windows quite dusty. The service is amazing & I would definitely stay again. The staff in the restaurant are lovely, morning & evening & very welcoming.
Absolutely perfect, relaxing accommodation
Amazing customer service. High quality hotel. Excellent rooms with private pools.
A lovely hotel and spacious villa- super views and breakfast!
Villa was splendid with lovely bathroom, lounge and private terrace and plunge pool
Royal garden villas feels like the height of luxury. The appearance, the facilities, the way the staff treat you, you are made to feel like a VIP. The hotel is in a beautiful location, the views out over the mountains is stunning, and at night being able to see all the towns all lit up is incredible. We stayed in the dutchess villa and it was excellent. Our villa garden had two sun loungers, a two person day bed, a pool, and room to move the sun loungers around. We had proper sun in our garden from around 9am to about 5pm, which was perfect. The main pool is also stunning and was never really busy during our stay, so was nice to go in there too. We stayed with breakfast as part of our trip, breakfast was very nice, with a good selectionof hot and cold food, including a table of sweet things like muffins and doughnuts. The staff in the restaurant were excellent, really friendly and always seemed happy to see you. Breakfast is served downstairs in the restaurant, and the restaurant is again absolutely stunning, feels like something from a Palace. We didn't eat dinner in the restaurant, we have fairly simple tastes and the restaurant menu seemed a bit beyond our tastes, however the room service menu which is available most of the day (and at the main pool) had lots of great options, with the spaghetti bolognese being my favourite on the menu. A 20 minute walk down to the town and a 5 euro taxi back to the hotel were absolutely fine too. Would 100% recommend this hotel
Great stay
Amazing couple retreat with great facilities and the room was great
Paradise
The hotel and villa we stayed in was superb . The staff were friendly and couldn’t do enough for us . Will be definitely going back in the near future. 5 star luxury all the way
The staff is the very best. I probably had one incident when I was not satisfied and that was it. Everything else was amazing and I will return.
Royal Garden Villas & Spa was an amazing resort. The service was exceptional! The staff was so kind and helpful. The decor and ambiance were beautiful. The rooms were super comfortable and private. Doing the half board, I loved having the option to dine in the room or at the restaurant. Having wifi in the room and a full kitchen was also very convenient. The location of the resort gives you a beautiful view of the ocean and mountains. Due to the location, if you are looking to sight see or go to the beach, I would recommend renting a car or be prepared to take taxis. (if they offered some type of shuttle service that would be great) The TV channels were limited, so bring a chromecast or firestick to stream. I found the food to be good. Breakfast had a beautiful spread however pancakes where cold/hard (but I am sure they would have made them fresh for us if we would have requested), and my husband who is a pickier eater felt limited with his food options, but what he did eat was delicious and beautifully presented. Definitely would come back!
Exceptional Stay - 5* Experience
This is the second time we have stayed at the Royal Garden Villas & Spa. Both times with our Grandchildren. The facilities are excellent, private pool, plenty of space both in the Villa (Bali) and outside for the children and adults to relax. Great views out over the Golf course and mountains and then down to the coast. The Hotel is beautifully decorated and a must see in the evening when it is all lit up. There is a large pool for general use, great beds and plenty of towels. The staff are lovely and can't do enough for you. We stayed on B&B basis - and as we had two young children who had early bed times, we often ordered room service for dinner. We did walk to La Caleta (about 15 minutes, all downhill) where there are numerous restaurants and bars, really pretty area. We also walked to Fanabe (about 30 minutes) and caught a cab back (around 10 euros). This is a really special Hotel and I will be returning soon.
The nature and design of the villas is brilliant, not one overlooks the other, The villa facilities are very comprehensive.
Very nice boutique hotel in quiet area. If you are looking for some real R&R this might be the one for you.
One of the best places I have ever stayed at. Right from the check in till we checked out everything from service, food, staff, amenities, decor was 10/10. I have never felt sad leaving a hotel but this time I did. There was a surprise element as well for the special occasion we were there. I am for sure coming back to Tenerife just to experience this luxury again.
Beautiful hotel and amazing staff. It was the ideal place to have a honeymoon. Waited on you at every request and provided plenty of information for first-time visiters to the island. The food was delicious. I highly recommend going half-board. The manager and staff were incredible and were happy to oblige our requests, even one which required reimbursement. Regardless of that issue, we would happily come back! Also recommend anyone staying here to use a rental car. It is beautifully located about 10 mins from the hustle and bustle of downtown (thankfully) and it was definitely cheaper to rent a car for 9 days versus paying for a cab to explore the amazing island.
Villa/staff/food very good Sun loungers need updating
Quality resort
excellent service, staff and condition. Definitely 5 star. Location is very quiet if you want a relaxing "away from it stay". Although decent restaurants are a short taxi ride away if you are on B&B. Nice quiet Spa. One minor quibble - mini bar prices are unnecessarily high for a place of this quality (£3 for a small water) and £15 for a shot of Gran Duque?.
Just amazing! Villa was fabulous! Look forward to returning!
Apartments and common areas were exceptionally well maintained. It was my partners birthday. Hotel supplied a birthday cake decorated our apartment. Touches like these make the all the difference. I have stayed in 5 star hotels around the world but have never experienced such personal attention.
Fantastic holiday. Wonderful facilities and excellent staff. Could not fault anything about this wonderful hotel and spa.
Fabulous hotel
We had booked a one bed suite but were lucky and got upgraded to a 2 bedroom one which was absolutely gorgeous. Not only did we have our own pool but also an outdoor bath on the upstairs balcony. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated and the staff friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel
The most perfect holiday in what can only be described as paradise :)
Partners birthday
My partner and I are in our mid 20s & we stayed in Villa Kentia (which we were upgraded to - so lucky!). The staff kindly decorated the villa with balloons for my partners birthday, a bottle of cava and a delicate cake enough for 12 servings! Lovely hidden gem! I plan to come back here. Was greeted at check-in by the beautiful Maddison with a glass of cava. Pablo & Diego and all of the other staff (apologies for not remembering names) were amazingly helpful. Great secret location, no disturbances, other reviews mentioned road noises, I fortunately didn’t experience any. Worth hiring a car in Tenerife regardless of where you stay. The villa has a good private garage to park in. Went for a hot stone massage and it was the best I’ve ever received so far! Love the Bulgarian amenities & RGV Jasmin eau de toilette & oil for a romantic massage. The villa is spotless, pool clean, lovely bar in our private villa with so much variety to choose from. Fridge was stocked up nicely, washing machine, dryer and dishwasher included with tablets too! Surprise scripts arrived at our door with recommendations on activities to do the following day alongside bottles of still water and chocolates EVERYDAY! I uploaded so much footage of RGV on my social media and everyone has asked where this was, the pictures on the site doesn’t do it justice! The breakfast is great here, I would recommend going to the restaurants that the villa has partnered with for lunch and dinner, they were awesome!
Not Close to Beach
Very nice comfortable hotel. Staff polite and friendly and helpful, especially in reception. Was about 20/30 min walk to beaches, however be warned if you walk back. Very steep hill. Just stayed for a weekend, but there is a building site next door. Never heard any noise, but that may be worth researching before booking. In the 'duchess' Villas we had sun on our terrace from about 11am until 3pm mid July. Not the fault of the hotel, but if you consider to play golf at the club opposite I would recommend against it. Cant be bothered to elaborate, but if you are serious about your golf , play elsewhere.
This was our second stay and we loved it as much the second time as the first , staff are great and nothing is to much bother
Superb hotel for a relaxing break
Lovely rooms, helpful staff, good food and the luxury of a vegetarian menu for dinner
This is a high quality hotel. The room a nicely appointed and very comfortable, on the luxury side. The staff is extremely friendly. Breakfast is very good. The parking for car is easy and handy. The only downside that would make us not come back is the location. Our one bedroom room suite (like other similar suites) was over a street. Difficult to dit in the nice veranda. Also there were no views from our suite. You need a car to go any where. The closest location to go is not very far but still quite a distance to go without a car.
Acquiescence
This was what the doctor ordered. Spacious relaxing therapeutic. We got a free upgrade to a double suite. And it was absolutely super. The staff and service were excellent. The only downside was it was up the mountain and if not a golfer then it was taxis the whole time. We walked down into The town one way but got a taxi back. I loved it.
The hotel is beautiful
Stunning small hotel, no expense spared. Not the best location but worth the 2 minute taxi ride to restaurants.
Amazing!!!
Absolutely amazing hotel with breathtaking views!! The Villas were immaculate and the service was excellent. The food was good not great. That would be an area of improvement. Overall, an amazing experience.
Great stay
Great place would definitely stay again had a meal in restaurant ok but went to the windmill fantastic Only downside slight road noise
Very peaceful luxury stay
Upgraded on check-in. Huge villa, very peaceful. Food average but everything else great. Ideal for us with a two year old
A wonderful Villa
We stayed in a 3 bedroom Royal Villa, which was large, clean and beautifully decorated. From the moment we arrived the staff were amazing, helpful and very friendly. All 3 bedrooms had large ensuites, we had 2 terraces, lots of sunbeds, a plunge pool and an outside dining area. There was a small kitchen and laundry facilities. Room service was great and the restaurant was wonderful. Its a 5 minute drive to the lovely village of La Colleta, where there are some amazing restaurants and bars to watch the sun set.
Perfect location for my friends and I.
We wanted the seclusion of the villas with a short taxi ride to the bars and restaurants. The staff at the. Villas couldn’t do enough to make our stay perfect. The Restaurant staff go above and beyond to make sure you are made to feel special Tom the barmen at the pool bar was very attentive as was Philomena.
high quality hotel friendly staff great food
We fancied a quick week away before a busy build up to xmas working so wanted a bit of sun and luxury - that is exactly what we got. Great large room with lots of extra touches that you would expect in a quality hotel. Spa was nice and we used that several times. Staff were all very friendly and could not do enough for us. We ate at the restaurant several nights and the food was very nice and they provided a vegetarian menu for my wife. We went down to the local harbours most days - about 10 euros including tip in a taxi and 30 minutes to walk - some great fish restaurants around. Plan to go back next year.
Don't believe the positive reviews
This hotel is incredibly expensive but extremely awful. Its situated between 2 very busy roads and we experienced everything from cockroaches in our rooms to inaccurate billing. There is a "spa" supposedly, but they actually only have 1 spa staff person. The gym was out of oder- overall just a terrible experience. I highly recommend staying elsewhere.
Probably the best Hotel we have ever stayed in
From the first WOW moment when we entered our Villa (Majestic), the Royal Villas experience could not be bettered The Villas are all fantastic, the Spa is very classy, the Staff are all so helpful Even detail on the parking of the hire car was brilliant with a special under hotel secure car park Even on the last day when we had some hours before the return flight we were provided with a VIP lounge , which again was to an extremely high standard Add to this the setting built into a hill next to a golf course, the views were stunning back to the mountains and down over the sea. If there is a better place please let me know
excellent rooms friendly staff & superb spa treatments
Beautiful place, not many places in tenerife offer something as special as this
Beautiful hotel!!!
We have just come back from a 9 night stay at RGV - it was a truly magical holiday! The staff are the best ever I have ever met - always willing to go over and beyond and so incredibly friendly and smiley. Tom. Was particularly helpful and the kids really loved his chocolate milkshakes! The villa we stayed in (the Miami) was absolutely gorgeous - honestly never seen anything like it. The private pool was lovely and the whole experience was a little taste of paradise. There isn't much within walking distance but that wasn't a problem as taxis were cheap and plenty of places within a short drive. Only negative would be that they could do with a heat pad under the breakfast trays as sometimes it wasn't very hot. Other than that - full marks!
Total relaxation in a paradise surrounding
All the staff from reception, restaurant through to cleaners were all extremely friendly and brilliant at their jobs. Nothing is too much trouble . The hotel and the villas are beautiful and all individual and well maintained . The flowers and decorative touches are stunning and all very individual . This is my second visit to this hotel and it won't be my last . It is well worth the trip. Relaxing paradise .
Total relaxation
Welcomed break, great hotel
Superb!!
My wife and I stayed at the Royal Villas &Spa for 5 nights last week, I would thoroughly recommend you stay here should you visit Adeje. Superb facility, immaculate suites individually named with their own pools, the staff were very attentive and freindly and nothing was too much trouble. We would definately return.
Excellent except for road noise
Excellent in every aspect except for the excessive road noise and traffic fumes on the one bed villas on lower aspect
Luxury family option
Another great stay at this luxury hotel
Very private Villas, Fantastic food, very relaxing hotel and very quiet unlike most hotels in Tenerife!
best on island
a fantastic hotel/villa
Beautiful hotel
My mum and I stayed here for a week and we have no complaints. The hotel was clean, cosy and welcoming. The staff at the hotel bend over backwards to make sure everything is just right. I am going back in April!
Oasis of calm with 5 star facilities
My husband and I had booked a Duchess Villa , which is a one bedded private villa with its on small pool. This was an important break for me as I was frazzled and needed a real rest. At check in , we were advised that as an Elite Expedia customer, we had been upgraded to a Majestic Villa. I was very impressed. The Villa was breaktaking. Two bedrooms, huge terrace, lovely pool. Very secluded and although there is some traffic noise, it was not in the least intrusive. The sea and mountain views are lovely and the whole hotel is imbued with a feeling of calm serenity. The hotel restaurant was lovely and the food good. The hotel is located around a 30 minute walk from La Caleta and its uphill all the way back but taxis are plentiful and cheap, so it's not an issue. As a seasoned traveller, I can honestly say that this was a perfect holiday for me and we will return.
Everything & everybody are top class
Great Hotel in Tenerife. A very luxurious and relaxing place. Everything is top grade in this Hotel. It is exactly like the photos on their website. The view from the infinity pool is incredible. Great location close to La Caleta, a small fisherman village full of restaurant and Playa Del Duque. You walk to the best golf course on the island. Do not forget to book your tee time at least 2 weeks in advance. The breakfeast are incredible. But the best is the people who are working there. They are phenomenal. I do not think that we could have been at a better place
What a fantastic hotel?!!
It was an amazing hotel for us and i recommend any couple to stay there as they will found romantic place for them and a luxury hotel & rooms.
Tenerife trip
Probably one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in and I have stayed in many across the world for business and pleasure
the best resort
this is probably the best resort i've ever been to. the amenities are very good, rooms are super clean, staff is not only welcoming but also show that they really want you to enjoy your stay here. view is stunning. not very far from the bustling las americas. everything is just perfect. defo will come back.
Total tranquility
This hotel took our breathe away from the moment we walked through the door. The staff will do anything for you, and the decor is amaxing, we have travelled the world and visited many 5 star hotels but this topped them all.. Already booking to go back In feb x
Attention to detail
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Royal Garden Villas & Spa. Every member of staff was so kind, helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We stayed in Villa Aloe on the 2nd floor (2 bedroom)which was perfect. The attention to detail is what impressed me most. This is truly a hidden gem if you are looking for a relaxing and tranquil haven. The breakfast buffet was consistently delicious.....always something new to try every morning as well as the option to ask for anything else you wanted. A good location..easy access to everything really and close by to some very nice restaurants and a white sand beach - 10 mins away. 2 large supermarkets 5 mins up the road. The airport is approx 20 mins away by car.
Perfect hotel for a romantic retreat
Thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to book a romantic holiday. The rooms are spacious with great facilities. Having a private terrace was a highlight.
Everything Fantastic
We stayed for a week at Easter, with our 8 year old daughter and 4 year old son. We chose the Majestic villa and what a great choice, a real home from home with everything you could need. One of the reasons we chose Royal Garden Villas and Spa was that the villas have their own pool and our some wouldn't go in swimming pools, we'll I can confirm that he went in the pool everyday and loved it. We didn't hire a car and just got taxis when we wanted to go out and about and If you don't want to go out of your villa we can thoroughly recommend room service. Maria was absolutely brilliant and all the staff were excellent. We will be returning in October.
Better than a 5 star hotel!
- For a similar (if not slightly cheaper) price than a 5 star resort the accommodation is far more spacious and sumptuous. Bespoke ethnic antiques are mixed with tasteful modern furniture and the soft furnishings are delightful. The villas are very roomy, bedrooms are large, beds are excellent, mattresses very comfortable, and there is an outside dipping pool and sitting/lounging areas outside with lovely views out to the ocean - Usually the professional marketing photos do not reflect the actual state of the décor and furnishings; in this case, in spite of being 8 years old, the property has been maintained impeccably. The photos genuinely reflect what you get! - A massive bonus to have a utility room with washing machine and dryer and a small kitchen area with microwave, hob and oven. There is enough there to cook a few meals to take a break from eating out all the time. Plenty of room in the refrigerator to do a proper shop at the supermarket at the start of the holiday and store fresh food/drinks - Breakfast is excellent and plentiful – 8-11am means a relaxing morning. Spa is lovely, complimentary massages and other treatments were not overly expensive and well executed. Squash court, if you fancy it too. - Staff are abundant, extremely helpful, courteous and happy - Fantastic location on the island, away from the busy Playa las Americas, but only a short drive away if you fancy dinner there or at La Caleta, or anywhere else for that matter. Make sure you rent a car

The manager was just wonderful and warm. She really is an example of how to do hospitality to the highest quality.
