The property was very close to shopping outlets, dining and other areas of interest.

It was okay for the money.

Place was ok value for the price. No chairs in the room to sit only the bed. No ice bucket.

Friendly staff.

The staff were very nice. Room was clean. We brought our dog didnt know that we had to pay an extra 40.00 dollars. No place for dogs to go to the bathroom. I didn't like hearing what was going on next door maybe insulate the walls where the beds are.Didnt like the people living their watching us pack up to leave. All in all I would recommend staying.

No house keeping or cleaning person.

Just no

Room was dirty, spent some time cleaning. There was no other options to leave day of. Pictures shown are not what the facilities look like. Office smelled of cat urine. Rooms had dust, holes in the wall, markings everywhere, someone’s fecal matter in the toilet. Beds were rocks even after going to the local Walmart and getting things to sleep on top of.

For the price, I was very underwhelmed. Stick on tile in the bathroom has shifted and subfloor was exposed, only 1 nightstand and no other horizontal surface in the room aside from the bathroom counter, key cards stopped working 2 nights in a row, room was very damp despite us running the AC constantly.

Its not very clean. And they charge a 40 dollar pet fee. Beyond ridiculous.

The bathroom door was noisy and freezer was a solid piece of ice therfore unusable. Stairs we're quite steep for a couple in there 70's won't stay there next year

Website said there was a pool but it was filled with gravel. Room was dirty and outdated. Old sticky carpet and floor in bathroom was ripped. The amount of money for a crappy place to stay. Would not recommend it to anyone

The room was decent if you are just looking for a room to sleep in. Nothing fancy. For the most part it was clean, could use an update. When I typed the address into the GPS it took me to a totally different location.

The picture of the room did not match the room. There was very old carpeting that could be replaced due to odor. An AC unit needs to be clean severely smelled of mildew when turned on. Bedding, furnishings, bathroom were all updated. Easy access to USB port. Lots of plugs which was great. Front desk attendant was extremely friendly and accommodating. Considering this was a last-minute booking, I was grateful to have it.

Nasty

Do yourself a favor and don't stay here. We left and returned home since we were 2 hours away. Windows cracked, covered with clear tape, mold in windows, a/c, bathroom. Floors heaved, dirty, needed sweeping at the least. We aren't needy when it comes to a room but it needs to be clean and cared for, even if it's old.

Room was not cleaned well. Found multiple items around room such as hair ties and a dirty sock. When you laid in the bed your feet were higher than your head on pillows. Had to rotate the mattress to improve that. Remote has no back and no batteries. Had called and left a message prior to our stay trying to actually extend our stay and never got a return phone call. Very run down and poorly maintained room

They didn’t not have what they posted. Very unhappy on what they showed compared to what I got.

Horrible filthy hotel. Seems there are also sections that are rented as long term and therefore the other guests were very noisy and inconsiderate of the other guests. Filthy rooms and very outdated. The check in clerk was very unfriendly and unprofessional. One hour into our stay we considered leaving. Couldn’t sleep with the noise throughout the resort. Do not waste your money or time staying here

Couldn't sleep due to loud footsteps and talking from room above mine. Although they say pet friendly, hidden in the policies is a hefty pet fee which means I paid a premium price for an economy room.

We stayed 2nights here. The place was filthy, hair and dust balls in every corner and behind the bed stands. They never came and made the bed or took out our trash. When we asked about it we were told they don't do any of that during our stay. Needless to say we would rate it on the negative side and won't be returning

Nice older hotel great location and value. Property is well cared for clean and quiet. Front desk gentleman who helped me out was accommodating to a room request very willing to allow me to request a different one during a holiday weekend.

Urine odor

"Nauseating urine odor " There was a strong odor of some type of air freshener upon entering. I went back to the office and was offered to see if another room would be better. It wasn’t. When I came back to the original room, I realized that there was a strong odor of urine coming from the bathroom. I guess the air freshener was to cover it up. At this point I left. I’m still waiting for the refund.

Very Disappointed

The check in process was a little strange, the guy behind the counter was not That personable. Apron arriving to our room our porch light did not work, the room was not clean, sink was clogged and dirty, doors were dirty, it was very dated and paint pealing from the walls, all the moldings had old dust stuck to them, the shower pressure was horrible, the toilet paper roll was pretty much empty, you could walk barefoot because of the dirt and grime on The floor.. if it wasn’t for arriving so late we probably would have asked for our money back and tried to find a more sanitary place to stay. I would not stay here ever again or recommend this motel to anyone.

It was your standard motel. Nothing fancy. It was fine for a one night stay. There was coffee and hot water in the lobby, but no tea bags for the hot water. Our room had splatters of something on the walls by the sink and on the bathroom door. Definitely needed to be cleaned. There was a loose board on the deck leading to our room that could’ve been a major safety hazard. And heads up, they’re dog friendly but they do charge an extra $40 per night for your fur baby! That is a lot in comparison to other motels/hotels which typically charge $20 for pets.

The reception didnot respond to our request for cleaning the room.

It was so so, room was very tiny, next door making noice till 12, people outside till 12 too loud, next to a main highway.

Contrary to website there is no breakfast provided. And place was noisy at night. Manager was crabby and did not want to let us out of our week long reservation

King room was spacious! Like you could literally fit a full size blow up mattress in the area between the bed and bath area. The bed wasn’t the most comfy and the pillows were tiny but the price is absolutely worth the stay. I mean, you have food, dunkin and shopping just foot steps away!

Very small place

The king-room was very small and sparse. The only table in the space was one bedside table. No art on the walls - just kind of run down.

Not a bad place to stay. Was worried with all the bad reviews but you get what you pay for. It’s Deff a two star hotel. Price was right and I stayed there with my two small grandsons 4 and 1 we stayed two nights. Worked out ok. Could use a table and chairs inside. Glad they had them outside cause I smoke. The property was full of trash. Too bad people are such scum. Overall great stay

Condition of the room is not great. There is a crack in the wall between the bedroom and bathroom. You can see light coming out of the crack. The crack is about 1/2 inch wide and runs the length of the wall. Refrigerator leaked all over the floor and strange odor in the room.

It was a nice place for the price which was very reasonable.

Okay, so real review by someone who isn't expecting the ritz for $75 a night, but i don't wanna break bread with crackheads either. So the place isn't the cleanest, BUT there's no bugs or anything. So i think the place is just old. The internet is what kills the place. Internet didn't wish the whole 2 days. It's okay if you're looking for a cheap place and the outlets are right there.

place was very dirty, I dont mind run down, but dirty is not acceptable, hair, spider webs, stains on the walls, it would take very little to make it nice, but it doesnt seem like anyone cares If you have to stay there, bring lots of cleaning supplies. Beside that place feels sleazy. I stayed there couple of years ago and it wasn't anything like that. Good advice, STAY AWAY FROM THERE.

Gross doesn't do this place justice.

Gross doesn't even begin to get me started. If it wasn't so late at night already I would have demanded my money back and left. Slept on top of the covers fully clothed because when I pulled the sheets back I found Blood Stains and Bodily fluid stains on the sheets. There was dust bunnies in every corner and the shower curtain had orange and black mold on them. Would never recommend the place or stay here ever again.

The price was nice.... Needs a little updating... Dirty in shower... But overall ok place to just lay your head at night and spacious

No right to security and privacy

In October 2021 we checked in- pulled back the sheets to check the bed and it was full of hair! Yuck! Clerk gave us a new room, we settled in for the night, suddenly our door swung open. The desk clerk gave another customer the master key to open the room. No knock- no phone call. We decided to leave- registered a complaint with hotels.com and no refund was offered- no apology- no discussion. Contacted choice hotels and when they contacted the hotel the clerk was rude and disrespectful to them. Again they refused to refund our nights bill. My security and right to privacy was violated and the customer service was abhorrent. Choice hotels and hotels.com were great- go elsewhere- don’t stay here

We, myself and my sons girlfriend, arrived at 3:45pm we had booked two rooms, one room was ready, one was not. Clerk unfriendly, uncommunicative. We were told we couldn’t get not the second room until my husband arrived, he was expected at 9pm. The one room had one towel, washcloth and hand towel. After dinner we returned, 8pm explained we were tired and needed the other room. He then allowed me to sign for additional room. Room card pass didn’t work! Back to the office, told people are complaining about this too. Given the actual key, after much resistance room opened to find another couple in the room! Back to desk, given another room, asked for more towels, asked how many do you need. The standard amount 2 of each kind of towel per room. By the way the couple we walked in on checked out! I would NOT recommend this place

Very convenient location. A nice place to stay for a low price. Noise level is moderate but not bad.

The maid was so nice and accomodating. The rooms need to be updated. The rug is crappy and the walls need painting.

The place was clean The people there are friendly the parking lot is tight The building and room could use some paint The pool was not open The hot water never ran out It’s no luxury hotel but it was clean and reasonably priced The beds we’re comfortable

The room smelled like smoke, floors were filthy (our feet were black from walking around for less than 10 minutes), bathroom smelled like urine; water pressure was almost non existent, tub was dirty, hairs were stuck to the towels. Would never stay here again. Pool was not in service, no ice machine to be found nor ice bucket, beds were hard as a rock (supposed to have 2 queens but had 2 fulls instead. Disappointing…..

The room was absolutely gross. The bathroom smelled like urine the tub was black. There were stains on both chairs and drink stains all over the walls. The sink was clogged was difficult to brush your teeth.

The people are very nice , the room was ok , could not use the pool , but convenient location, little bit high for cost for what you get I think , I kinda thought it would be more open space for $260, n a bug on the wall , no Ash trays for any one smoking they wear tossing butts on the ground I thought was rude of people but if no ash trays is not a excuse they can use a soda can or something like that if they smoke , instead the grounds have butts all over n that's not right on human being

Horrible property!!!

Absolutely horrible! Do not waste your time or money! The room was disgustingly dirty! Spiders everywhere, hair in bathtub, bathroom wreaked like urine, floor was dirty, bedding was stained and dirty, clothes still in drawers! Bed bug droppings on floor under beds! We left immediately! Staff was not accommodating at all! Outside stairs had trash on them, people outside the room smoking weed. Not a family setting!!!

The room was disgusting . Hair in the beds dirty. Used bandaids on the floor in bathroom. Ants. Was the worst hotel I have ever seen. We had to leave. They gave us another room and was just as bad. Ants and dirty.

Ok stay for a weekend

Room did not match description of pics on website. Hotel Room was not very clean. Room was very small and bare. Saw their linen closet and all the dirty towels were thrown on the floor with the clean linens thrown on top and then the vacuum thrown on top of that. Watched manager climb over pile of linen with his boots on to grab me a pillow and pillow case.

Unprofessional, Not Clean, Dangling Light and Bugs

The place is just not a friendly environment or surrounding, the person on duty Saturday is very unprofessional. We asked for towels because we left the used towels that we used Friday and was taken away but he gave so much attitude to the point he slightly slam the phone that he was holding at the moment on his desk to get up in his chair. The night that we check in we we found that the bed was not change from the last time it was occupied, there are hairs, lint, dirt, stain and especially a crawling insect or bug, we can't say if its a bed bug or not but it is inside the sheet. The ceiling has holes, the light on the ceiling is dangling on its wiring, we found a sock from the previous occupant of the room and floor was not vacuum or clean. The owner came in to fixed or change the sheets on the bed and asked me to help him to put the sheets with him, we found out that he is short staff but and unable to get cleaning crew to do the work but why we as a customer had to sacrifice the health and cleanliness and safety for us as a customer. We are paying $175 a night plus tax comparing it to Holiday Inn or other main chain Hotels around the area which is only $225 a night plus tax, to the point we were considering staying on the car to sleep that Friday night but we have a 2 year old son with us which was not able to sleep. The owner also stated and blame it that Lake George is in New England which is common to have bugs, spider and other creators around the area. Hotel.com Help!

Do not stay here. It’s convenient to outlets but that’s the only positive thing I can say. It smelled musty. Dead Bugs on floor. Very Noisy - outdated rooms. No clock. No plastic bag for ice bucket. Cups not wrapped. Toilet paper left from previous guest. No iron, no conditioner. Pillows were old and cheap. Air conditioner was loud and rattled. Water pressure poor. Outside light flickered all night. -Price was ridiculous for the property. No Covid precautions at all. We recommended this hotel to family and friends for our daughter’s wedding- we are so embarrassed!

The bedding and bathroom was clean enough but the room is badly in need of upgrades and repairs. Filthy carpet, broken toilet seat, loose flooring. I think the staff does what they can with what they have to work with. The bedding and bathroom were clean.

Pool was “closed for renovations”. The pool area looked to not have been open for quite some time. They advertise for an open pool yet do not update when it isn’t. I would have gone somewhere else. Extremely loud when neighboring rooms come back at all hours of the night. I did not feel comfortable or safe. Very outdated and website photos are deceiving. The room looked nothing like what was advertised. Very dusty and half cleaned. Staff does not take pride in their work. I would never stay again.

All about the neale is a phenomenal person that works there just wish. They had more staff to help this man out he is the only one there on site but it is a nice place to stay comfortable and when you do need help with something as far as anything or service he is the man to go to

The staff at the property, were super helpful. There are only 4 staff 2 in office and 2 housekeepers. The house keeps have 4 other hotels to take care of. When we arrived at our stay the parking lot was not plowed properly and have massive sheets of ice. The walkway to our room was covered in ice the front desk associate tried to clean the ice away the best she could. There internet was constantly going down had to call the office 16 times in two days to have the internet rerouted.

They’re working on this location. Room was clean, right across the street from the outlets, no frills. Poor construction in my opinion, a big gap between door and floor to outside. Water pressure wasn’t great. But for a night or two it suited out needs.

Door card did not work well,got locked out of room.door worked hard to push open,tons of stink bugs,lots of hornets on the,outside.

Good location but the good ends there.

Brought my family on a 2 day shopping trip and we decided to stay here. Big mistake. Cons-My 4 year old was playing with her toys on the floor and her feet, hands and knees were black. Literally black. The carpet was extremely dirty. Our bathroom door would not shut. Water pressure in the shower was horrible. There was paint chipping on the walls throughout the room. Hardly any lighting. Holes in the walls in the bathroom. Cobwebs in the corner of the room as well as dust on the light fixtures and headboard. Pros-Cannot beat the location it’s literally right next to the outlets. The bed was comfortable. Good size fridge compared to other places I’ve stayed at. Outdoor pool looked nice and clean but was too cold to swim. Overall it was a very outdated and dirty place to stay. I chose this place because of the location. I would not recommend staying here.

Very clean Staff was great would definitely stay there again

The price was good, however the microwave was dirty so we didn't use it. The staff was helpful and were nice. The ceiling did look like there was some water damage and people were smoking right outside the doors.

Disappointed

Bed was fine but pillows were too small. Bathroom was filthy and room was dusty all over. When asked about cleaning services I was hung up on by front desk person. Not the friendliest. I would not recommend to anyone.

Pleasant and Nice

The hotel was very pleasant and nice and clean inside! My family and enjoyed our stay.

Okay for a short stay

Location was good for shopping the outlets. Beds were comfortable. Room had the basics. Reserved a non-smoking room, but had other people next door who would smoke cigarettes outside their room. We could smell the cigarettes every time we opened our door.

Dirty rooms bathroom filthy and no service to make beds or fresh towels... don’t waste your money!!!
