It’s slow season so many things are closed, including the restaurant and other amenities. The hotel is a bit old but well maintained. Mike works at the reception was very friendly and attentive. Any minor issues were corrected immediately. The whole island was very empty which is great to explore. We were lucky to have 2 dry days during this rainy season. It was nice to wake up to the gorgeous caldera view.

I stayed during off peak. While some amenities were not available due to renovations during off peak hours (on site restaurant/fitness room), the staff made every effort to accommodate individual needs. Room service was available and was timely and delicious. Local restaurants were available for order-in. Shuttles were available for excursions. The Spa staff were accommodating to time and professional. It was easily one of my most treasured vacations. Highly recommend the Rocabella resort.

We loved this hotel, very clean, modern; excellent hospitality personnel and it has a beautiful view without the crowds of Fira and Oia. I would recommend renting car, they have a parking lot in the hotel, yes you can go walking to Imerovigli, some 15 minutes but if you rent a car. But is not so close walking to Fira or Oia (although is next to the trail, I would recommend you only walking to Imerovigli… the views are in the hotel)

We had a truly wonderful experience during my recent stay! From the moment we arrived, the reception desk staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The unexpected room upgrade was a totally pleasing experience as well. All stuff were attentive, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful, always ready with a warm smile and quick to assist with any needs or questions. Check-in and check-out were a breeze, and they consistently exceeded our expectations. Breakfasts were another highlight of our stay. The breakfast crew was fantastic, ensuring everything was fresh, and beautifully presented. They provided a wide range of options to suit every taste, and their friendly, attentive service made each morning a delightful start to the day. Overall, the hotel offered a flawless experience, with top-notch service and facilities. I highly recommend it and look forward to returning!

Place was lovely but dated. Cleaning needs improvement and it was a big disappointment that the there was no pre- notification that the restaurant closed 3 days into my stay. However, staff were amazing, lively and helpful. The real stars of the show. And the views were fab

Amazing views from our room and all around the hotel.Staff were so nice and helpful. Christianna at reception was so friendly and helpful . Breakfast was very nice and all staff serving you were so polite and chatting. Our stay in Rocabella was very enjoyable and would recommend.

The property is located near a cliff overseeing the caldera. This property was well kept. It was about 10 to 15 minutes from both Oia and Fira. I did have one problem and they did take care of it as well as offer a discount on my spa treatment. Overall, Cristiana made me feel so welcomed as well as luggage transporter. I would recommend a stay here.

Quiet area , beautiful sunsets, excellent food in restaurant, nice staff … but if you want more variety, life and exploring you need a car … or use taxis.

We were greeted by a warm, helpful, welcoming staff which continued our entire time at Rocabella. The decor in all areas was very tasteful and in some cases mimicked the regional architecture (whitewashed buildings) with a theme of rocks and other natural surfaces (ie. wood). The bed was extremely comfortable and the room, albeit a bit small, was just what we needed. We would have preferred more privacy. The blackout curtains allowed us to get a good night’s sleep. The pools were on the small side, but there were enough of them to easily service the guests. A suggestion is for the cozy lounge chair covers to be cleaned and repaired (some have rips in them). The view from our balcony, glass doors, and from many areas of the hotel was spectacular and the sunsets overlooking the Caldera were stunning. Rocabella is conveniently located directly on the path from Fira to Oia. Be prepared to walk or drive a short distance to get to most restaurants, cafes and markets. We enjoyed our stay!

One of my favourite stays ever

I really enjoyed my 2 nights stay at Rocabella. The staff were very thoughtful and helpful and went the extra mile to provide a comfortable stay...they even packed a small breakfast for me because I was leaving for the airport before regular breakfast time. The regular breakfast was also excellent. They offered a sit down and order breakfast, not just a continental buffet. The hotel was nice, pools were great and the views are amazing, but the staff really made my stay one of the most memorable that I have had.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at Rocabella Santorini. Our room was very clean, well-equipped, and beautiful. We especially loved spending evenings in our private plunge pool with the most stunning view of the caldera sunset (without having to brave the crazy crowds in Oia). The staff provided exceptional service; they were incredibly warm and helpful, providing many recommendations and making reservations for us. We especially enjoyed spending hours talking to Nick at the front desk, sharing his experiences of Greece with us.

Very beautiful property and very friendly and helpful staff! Beautiful walks along the coast. A little far from town so had to take transportation services. A little pricey, but we had a great time!

We've just returned from a week-long stay at Rocabella Santorini and loved every minute! Beautiful room, with really comfortable bed and great shower. We loved our days relaxing by the pool with a cocktail - great service by the waiting/bar staff. Particular highlight was the breakfast, again great service and everything delicious!! Only slight downside was transport options nearby to get to beaches etc but would recommend walk up to Imerovigli and some fantastic restaurant options (quite a tricky walk though).

Fantastic property , breakfast was absolutely insane … you could choose anything off the menu and not just one thing !! Dinner in the restaurant for my birthday , amazing table and food was incredible ! Was upset we didn’t get a room upgrade but as it was still high season there wasn’t availability but our suite with plunge pool was in a great location with great views ! It is a little out of town but only 25 min walk along the cliff where there are bars , shops and restaurants (if you are female wear flat shoes - I wore wedges the 1st night … was ok but the walk was a lot slower as uneven ). I will definitely come back

Amazing property with three different pools! Room and view from room was amazing. Service was great and they were able to bring our suitcases to and from the room on check-in and check out. The area was quiet and relaxing, and walkable to nearby cities. Would highly recommend this hotel and would stay here again in the future.

The best hotel I have stayed at. From arrival, Debbie was incredible, so kind and smiley. We were traveling for my girlfriend’s birthday and they went above and beyond, making a cake and placing decorations all around the room for her. The room was incredible. A view of the whole of Santorini and Oia as well as the best sunsets and views of the sunset ever. Nothing was poor about this hotel. Perfect, perfect, perfect!

Mostly recommendable. Beautiful view. Very good quality room. Kind staffs. Nothing that I didn’t like. One thing I regret is that I could not leave a tip in the room when I left because I did not carry any Euro. I am so sorry. All my family will come Greece again and will definitely choose Rocabella Santorini Hotel again.

This hotel exceeded my expectations, the location is great, away from the crowds. The staff was excellent, everything was very clean and the bus stop is pretty much across the street so no need to take a cab into Oia.

Wonderful staff, selection of pools, amazing view of the caldera, good breakfast, room equipped with everything you needed. On a quiet part of the coastal path between Fira and Oía so a steep walk to the nearest town of Imerovigli for restaurants. We found it hard to get buses from the hotel as they only go in one direction to Oía and often they were already full when they got to the bus stop near the hotel. For all other destinations we had to get a taxi to the Fira bus station first so something to be aware of is that you might have to spend lots of money on taxis if you stay here.

Had a gorgeous stay here. I loved the breakfast every morning in the restaurant which had the most amazing views. The hotel itself was generally very quiet and so peaceful. I picked this location as I knew the views were just stunning so there wasn’t much around but that was fine for me. The nearest supermarket was about 15 minute walk but I love walking so not a problem! The room was spotless and cleaned everyday and all the staff were so friendly and helpful. This was my second time in Santorini and if I returned again I would deffo be back to this hotel! Thankyou ❤️

Amazing service from all of the staff from the moment we arrived. The Rocabella is the most stunning hotel with views to die for. We were so pleased with our room and service provided during our stay. We can’t wait to come back!

Stayed in July for a wedding. PROS - Location was great, views were beautiful, property was clean. Staff was mostly pleasant and very helpful. Christiana at the front desk welcomed us with a glass of wine at our check-in. Reception could be contacted by WhatsApp and they were very responsive. And the air conditioning worked well - no small thing in a very hot week! The wedding itself was lovely, the food at the reception was great and the setup was very nice. CONS - For the cost of the stay there were some frustrating fails — key cards repeatedly demagnetizing, in-room safe not working, no outlet in the bathroom compatible with the hairdryer. The breakfast was not a buffet as I’d seen in some other reviews — to be honest, that would probably be easier/more efficient on the guests as the service was slow and somewhat scattered. (Coffee was good!) The rooms were supplied with free bottled water but this was limited to two half-liters per room per day…really should have been more—it was hot out!! Otherwise bottled water was really expensive (like 5-6 €, I think). With regard to weddings, receptions/dinners take place on one of the pool decks. This means that for the afternoon leading up to the wedding and the evening/night of the wedding that pool is off-limits to hotel guests. If you are staying for several days when there are weddings each day, it means you won’t have access to all the property’s facilities. (Just something to be aware of.)

Lewis stay at rocabella santorini

Did not give us sea view room as booked Said we did not book You advertised deluxe room with sea view They said a deluxe room does not have direct sea view Was not happy and they would not accommodate us. In fact did nothing at all to make our stay comfortable. Also had to pay 3euro per night government tax thought that was included in our booking? Thanks Lewis

We stayed 2 nights at this property in June 2023. Beautiful property, great rooms, amazing views. The only negatives were that the hotel has a lot of weddings. One of our 2 days we stayed here they closed off the main pool, and lounge area to prepare for and have wedding. The hai was a bummer as the main pool area if amazing! The other negative was the restaurant was being remodeled so there was no dining option on property. If you are looking at this property and want access everything ask if there is a wedding during your stay

I like that the staff were very friendly and welcoming. That treated me like royalty. I couldn't believe that they remembered my birthday and sent me gifts, this qill forever be etched in my memory. Because of my experience, I have been recomending Santorini as a must visit Island and of course Rocabella for accommodation to my friends and relatives.

The best hotel I’ve ever stayed in - everything from the service, rooms, views, food - it is all perfect. Everyone who works there is SO amazing, helpful and welcoming. Absolutely loved it!

Rocabella Santorini has a wow location and that is what we loved. The view is insane on the caldera and very well located between Oia and Fira. It has parking too! We had a lovely check-in and were surprised with an upgrade to a massive 2 bedroom suite with a cave bathroom. As much as it was appreciated 3 big downsides to the suite: 1. It had a humidity issue so there were two dehumidifier 2. We barely had hot water in the showers days 2 and 3 3. For the price of such properties very few rooms, including ours had private balcony or terrace and we had a little pool but it was not private either so never used it. The other public pools were beautiful!! Breakfast was nice but the bread both mornings was stale in the bread basket, a shame again for that level of hotel. Lastly in 3 nights there were two weddings that took over a big part of the public areas, you therefore feel a bit like you are intruding if you want to walk around the hotel. Overall very nice but we preferred the Rocabella Mykonos hotel for the overall experience, rooms and food.

Beautiful hotel, very stunning sunset views at some of their rooms, complementary breakfast brought to your room and you can choose anything on their breakfast menu, overall amazing place to stay and close to Fira, Oia and the airport, well recommended to rent a car because of the long distances and lack of taxi and transportation, amazing service, my only issue was no hot water for a couple of hours on the first day but it got corrected right away, we still give this hotel a 5 star review, wonderful time we had

Far from restaurants, since they’re renovating their own restaurant..

The views from this hotel are spectacular of the Aegean Sea. During our stay it was windy and so we heard a lot of rumbling with the Wind on the property, rooms are not soundproof. We were there during off-season the plunge pools are not heated. Our room accommodations were stunning, we enjoyed the master bath with the cave shower. Breakfast each morning was delicious and quickly prepared. The closest restaurant was a 30 minute walk for dinner, taxis were readily available when requested. You may want to reach out to the taxi company yourself we were quoted a price of $80 for transport to the airport, when we called ourselves we were charged $35. The downside is only one water bottle was provided per day everything else was extra. The kitchen was not open because of off-season so we were not able to get any additional meals outside of the delicious breakfast daily.

The property was great, comfortable and spacious room. Breakfast was good and made to order. The views of the island are amazing from this location. The staff was very friendly and accomodating. The only downside is that since I visited in the winter, the amenities such as the spa, rooftop bar, and spa were closed for renovations. Therefore, I didn't get to experience those.

First, the staff, extremely kind and helpful. Cant say enough about them. The hotel is located in the perfect location almost centre of Santorini, 10 minutes to Thera. Proposal is super clean, best sunset view, close to everything you can imagine.

This hotel has a great view of the Aegean sea and the cliff from the room. Staff are very friendly and service oriented. We had a memorable breakfast ebery morning with a morning view from the room.

Great off season visit!

Front desk/reception was wonderful! She was very welcoming and provided a lot of helpful and great recommendations to us about how to navigate the island especially during the off season. Amazing views! Food and service at breakfast was great! You need a car for sure during the off season.

We stayed at Rocabella in early September. The hotel is beautiful and has amazing views of the caldera. The staff was friendly and accommodating, especially the waitresses. They were always so pleasant and seemed genuinely happy to be there. The breakfast (which is included) was amazing. I would go back in a heartbeat!

Rocabella hotel was amazing the service and staff were very friendly and willing to help with anything we needed. The location was perfect it was close to Oia and Thira and the spa was wonderful. We went for our honeymoon and my husband and I had a great time! The food and drinks were on point as well! We would definitely stay again if we ever visit Santorini again!

Everything about this hotel was perfect. Our room was very beautiful and clean with a very comfortable bed. There were 4 pools and they all had a nice and great view of the sea. The area around the hotel is very quite. The staff were very friendly and kind. The food was also good. We arrived around 5am in the morning and the manager was kind enough to allow us do the early checkin without any additional fee. I can’t wait to go back again.

My one recommendation is more organized service in the restaurant. All staff were friendly and responsive but we were seated without place settings, had to ask for coffee multiple times, and the staff appeared unorganized relative to who was responsible for what. Other than that, the place was beautiful, serene and the staff accommodating.

We stayed in the Premium room with the caldera view and it was simply amazing. The food was great (Breakfast is included), and lunch and dinner options are also really good. Its a great place to go to celebrate a special occasion or visit in general. The plunge pool was the perfect temperature for the end of July and the views while in it were quite simply stunning, pictures cannot do it justice. The staff was very kind and generous, and made the experience so much better. Thank you again for an amazing experience while we were in Santorini!!

The hotel is beautiful with amazing views of the Caldera and is situated perfectly in Imerovigli which is far quieter than Fira or Oia. The rooms were a decent size and the cleaning staff did a great job maintaining it during the 4 days we were there. They could do a better job with breakfast which was included - the staff were nice enough but always seemed rushed, there was never any fruit (except for apples and the occasional kiwi) and our orders were always late or wrong. I’d recommend a buffet breakfast which would solve most of their problems and provide guests with more choices. I’d also like to comment on the front reception staff - both Iro and Roula were very helpful but I can’t say the same about Panagiota (I think I got her name right). When asked about the bus schedule (too inconsistent), scheduling a taxi (20-30E to Fira or Oia) or really any questions at all, her response was to always look at you with complete arrogance with a “I don’t know”. There was never any follow up such as “I’ll find out for you” or “let me look into it”. She really needs to get another job as that’s not the support you expect from a hotel of this caliber. If it weren’t for Iro and Roula being able to step in for her obvious deficiencies, I’d write off front reception

Amazing beautiful location and a lovely property but the service is shambolic. If they sort of the service it might be worth considering but I don’t think I have endured anything like it in the past 20 years.

Loved my stay here! I only stayed for one night, but I had a really great experience! The staff was super friendly & helpful. They even greeted us with champagne! <3 Also, the breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfasts I've ever had! The only downer was that 2 of the pools were shut down for renovations when I stayed.
