I had a short break here with a friend - and it ticked a lot of boxes. GOOD Value for money, comfy beds, decent showers, loved the rooftop pool area. Israel, the bar manager, was so friendly. Food at the snack bar is pretty good. Frozen daiquiris. Short walk to the beach. NOT SO GOOD Reception staff were not super-helpful. We had an issue when we checked into a room that stank of cigarette smoke and at first they said there was nothing they could do. They did sort it in the end, but only when we pushed. The buffet food is ok - but bland. It did feel a bit as if we could be in any warm country in the world - but if you're looking for somewhere to relax for a few days, it does the job.

Large room, very comfortable bed, aircon effective, great view. The hotel is actually several buildings and exact facilities vary, my building was nice and quiet. Location is quiet but very convenient. Ten minute walk to airport bus stop. Bars etc. closer still. Food selection and quality was good. Drinks prices quite reasonable for the area. Friendly and helpful staff. Only slight negatives were that the shower is cramped despite the bathroom as a whole being large, and the bike garage was not secure so I had to make alternative arrangement. Wifi also inconsistent. All in all a great stay though I would go again.

A lovely hotel/resort with a myriad of swimming pools, spa facilities and bars. The staff always eager to help and friendly and of course it's next to the high road and beach. What more could you want?

Don't honour Gold or Platinum member privelleges

This is a nice place in a good location, but this is the 2nd time I have stayed and both times they have failed to honour the upgrade privelleges of being a Gold or Platinum member (they say they don't have availability when the app tells you different and it doesn't seem busy) which is disappointing as it is the main reason you choose a hotel that is supposed to offer this over a competitor

The hotel is bright and modern but the pool area is very small for so many people with little shade. The WiFi is extremely poor and barely works. The room was cleaned each day. We had a sea view balcony but the customers next to us smoked so this made it less pleasant. It would be nice if there could be some smoke free rooms/ balconies so you don’t have to put up with other people’s smoke. The beach is in easy reach. The restaurants around the hotel are very commercialised and quite poor food. We found one good restaurant. The breakfast was good and varied. The reception staff were helpful. Overall it was ok but we have stayed in better hotels.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful. The rooms are very spacious, spotless and very comfortable. I loved everything from the decor to the air conditioning. The pool and snack bar area were also immaculately kept. There was no shortage of sun loungers and the background music playing was lovely. I would without a doubt stay here again.

Stayed here for 5 nights with my partner. We had a very enjoyable stay and found the hotel facilities to be spacious and relaxed. For the most of our stay, we used the roof top pool however there were many sun beds and other areas to use. The only downfall of this area was that there were no toilets on this floor so you had to walk back down to your room. There was a small shop right at the end of the road which was very cheap and convenient. As we hired a car, we found parking on the street outside to be very competitive as it was free. The alternative would have been to pay €15 per day to park. As we arrived early and left late, the hotel was very accommodating and stored our luggage. If you asked in advance there was an option to keep the room on for a small fee. The breakfast buffet was very limited. The hotel had a snack bar in one part but as we were using the roof top pool in another block, we bought our own food/drinks from the nearby shop. All facilities were clean and spacious and the hotel was right on the beach. Overall, I would stay in this hotel again as it was great for the price and all of the other guests we encountered were very friendly.

The rooms, modern, clean decor, soundproofing, bathroom, pools,music at pool spa, gym, breakfast, staff excellent. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Great tranwuil being adults only. Dinner had various options that were hard, dry or tasteless…but on the whole enough for everyone to find something they may like.

Just a regular hotel 2-3 stars, no parking around a lot noise in the room 24 hrs due to be bellow the poop, manager a kind rude a mean very rude… the buffet dinner was very good… i will not be back.

It turned out this hotel is 4 different buildings wich is not menssioned anywhere at all. A lot of running around for breakfast, pool, reception etc. We upgraded to a seaview wich was nice except for the busy street downstairs. Our room had a bad smell, legs on one bed was loose and the shower handle was almost falling off. Our room was also poorly cleaned. Floor not cleaned in 4 dags.Things were pointed out to the manager but nothing happened. Breakfast very noisy in one building but very nice and quite in the other. Otherwise nice and helpful staff.

Great location and nice hotel - number of pools was fantastic. Breakfast was good. Location is fantastic. Rooms are minimalist bordering on basic but not uncomfortable.

Definitely NOT a 4 star property. It’s very clean, has pools and gyms, but nothing else to recommend it. There is nothing extra offered that would rank it above a 3 star, basic hotel. It was full of big groups, like hen and golfing parties.

The property is in an excellent location and breakfast and cleaning very good . Unfortunately they have major drainage issues which cause a revolting smell at night and they do Not recognise Expedia benefits . We asked to be moved but to no avail . First time we have ever had an issue with an Expedia property .

Chilled place to stay

A very nice quiet location not far from the beach area and lots of restaurants. The hotel has 4 very nice pools although 1 of them is only a plunge pool on a roof top. Rooms were comfortable with all the facilities you'd expect, although the decor is minimalist and clean. The breakfast was comprehensive with a wide choice of foods. Another coffee maker would help to avoid significant delay at busy times. The main pool also has a bar with a food menu. The selection is perfectly adequate for lunch and everything we ordered was nice. Easy parking 3 min walk away made things very easy. The staff were great in every department and wed definitely go back.

Nice hotel and well situated for access to everything. Staff were exceptional! Room was comfortable and clean. Unfortunately, we were not offered any of the Hotels.com VIP gold benefits! The only one we managed to get was the late check out which the hotel asked us to pay for!?!?!

This is definitely one of the best hotels I have stayed in. The staff were warm and welcoming. My room was ready early so I was allowed to check in. The rooms was spacious well designed and clean. The pool area was very well laid out. Breakfast was excellent. I stayed on my own and felt safe and completely relaxed.

The hotel itself is clean, reception staff are friendly and helpful. The guy that worked at the bar was a bit barky; especially when we wanted to pay by cash (hotel is car payments but you can put the money in at reception and pay by a tab) the pool lacked any atmosphere and the water was cold (not heated at all) which meant the pool was usually empty or 1 or 2 brave people might be in there. This was really disappointing for me. The hotel is in a good location near lots of restaurants/bars and close to the beach. I probably wouldn’t return to Santa ponsa not this time of year as I found it a little dry. We did do a boat trip to see the dolphins though which was amazing

Hotel was fine. Very clean and clinical and staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good, a wide variety of foods and ample choices for all tastes.

I wasn't aware of any VIP benefits but still enjoyed the hotel. Room was lovely, a mirror outwith the bathroom would have been nice for both parties getting ready at same time or a full length mirror perhaps but all else was excellent.

Pros: - Very clean. - The breakfast and dinner buffets were very good and the dining staff very attentive. - Close to the beach and some nice bars. - The pool was good, nice water sunloungers. - It was my birthday whilst we were staying and the hotel gave us a free bottle of Cava. Cons - The Air-con in my mums room wasn't working (and it was almost 40 degrees). I said to reception about 8pm but they told me that the handyman had left for the day and they would get someone out first thing in the morning. My mums room was roasting hot so I asked for a change of room but they said no, I asked for a plug in fan but they said no. Very poor and not good enough. Also it was not fixed in the morning and I had to go back to reception to chase it up three times before it was fixed. - The heavy and large sliding wardrobe door in my mums room fell off whilst she was opening it. - There was NO daytime or evening entertainment. This hotel is VERY minimal and quiet. - The pool bar food was not great. We ordered nachos, a pizza and chips.

Great view of the ocean, however i did not get a few of the things that expedia had listed that we would get for being gold member. There was no parking and we did not receive the free sparkling wine. Otherwise hotel was fine, it did cost money just to get some cold wster from the bar which I find ridiculous but that just shows the difference between American hotels and European ones.

Room with a view but no balcony !

Even though we paid to be upgraded to a comfort room with a pool view we were disappointed that our upgraded room did not have a balcony. From what we could see there were only 5 rooms in the entire hotel which did not have a balcony. We asked to be moved but were told no other rooms were available with a balcony. The room that we were allocated (room 1405) was tired. Numerous areas of tiling within the bathroom required re-grouting, the surface beneath the washhand basin was flaking, small areas of black mould were to be found around the shower tray and the lid of the waste bin in the bathroom was broken. This compares to the public areas of the hotel and the pool area which were quite acceptable. Equally acceptable was the buffet restaurant which for us had an adequate choice of food. Bar prices for beers, wines etc were not exhorbitant. However the absence of a balcony should not be under-estimated.

Enjoyed our week stay here, we loved the multiple choice of pools, breakfast was nice and in a good location. Overall would stay again.

Super dejligt hotel. Med skypool og 2 andre pool vi kunne benytte. Beliggende tæt på stranden.i den rolige del af byen. Tæt på lystbådehavn. Havde 1/2 pension. Kan varmt anbefales. Om aftenen er der en dejlig bar med skiftende underholdning . Rent og pænt overalt. Personalet er meget serviceminded . Der hersker en ro og orden. Direktøren er meget engageret i hotellet. Smiler og hilser. Så ham ofte i samtale og dialog med personalet på en rigtig god måde. Vi havde lejet racercykler . Der er et fint aflåst rum hvor vi kunne opbevare dem i de 5 dage vi havde lejet cyklerne. Jeg havde fødselsdag medens jeg var der. Min mand spurgte om er flag. Men istedet kom der en flaske cava op til værelset. Fin service. Kan varmt anbefale dette hotel.. vil helt klart komme retur . Virkelig godt udgangspunkt for cykelture i bjergene der kan nåes på 5 km…

Lovely hotel

Excellent hôtel with lovely poolsides. Really relaxing and all ages, so everyone feels welcome! Poolside restaurant & bar was great! Only had breakfast once (my choice) but good selection of choice. All the staff were friendly, polite and professional. Definitely recommend!

Trevligt hotell med trevlig personal.

Ett bra och trevligt hotell med bra bussförbindelser till Palma, Magaluff, Palma Nova och flygplatsen. Personalen var tillmötesgående, bara bra upplevelser av personalen. Frukosten helt ok, inget över det vanliga men inget saknades heller. Middagen var bara ok, efter 3 dagar så tröttnade jag på hotellmaten, ingen större variation. Dem flesta som bodde samtidigt som oss var Engelska eller Franska. Överlag så är jag nöjd.

You have to open up a charge account so that you can charge to room, no cash taken it either card or charge to room. Patio door needs to be fully closed before air con works. Good selection of food.

This review would have been completely different if it wasn't for the Manager, Christian. My sister and I had booked into the 4 star MSH Mallorca Santa Ponsa hotel. Supposedly a 4 star Spa hotel? We checked in around midnight and were informed that we were allocated an annexed building. When we woke up next day, we realised that ,apart from breakfast staff, there were NO other staff at all in our building. Over the first 3 days, there was no bar, no spa and no pool. So actually NO 4 star spa hotel! Having complained to reception over the phone, then in person, we got nowhere. Finally, the new Manager (Christian), came to the rescue! He changed everything around. Moved us into the main building where ALL of the facilities were available and acknowledged the inconvenience we had suffered in the first few days. This is a nice, clean modern hotel, but they need to be explicit about the accommodation on offer and communicate more effectively.

We were put in an annexe. 10 minute walk from the hotel (my husband and I are75). The security gate was not locked. There were no staff on reception at night or in the morning. I spoke to the manager and we got transferred to the main hotel. Menu had no potato's and a poor selection of vegetables, they had no ice cream or cream available. There was no gravy available. Staff were very nice, kind and helpful. But this was not a four star hotel.

Hotel was ok. It is split over several buildings. The bar and pool facilities in our building weren’t open, and reception and dinner were in another building. The phone in the room didn’t work so any issues we had we couldn’t report. Our water was cut off completely one night, the cold water was cut off on the last morning so the shower was suddenly scalding and my friend couldn’t rinse her hair. Breakfast is fine. Buffet dinner isn’t great. We went a couple of times as we’d taken half board and then gave up. There’s lots of variety and the salads and cold stuff is good but the hot stuff less so. The room and location are fine. Did the job but pleased it was a fairly short stay.

I love this place. The staff are a delight when you arrive. The hotel is spotlessly clean. The rooms are large and light with very comfortable beds and good linen. I love the way the whole place is set out..all white and light! The pool areas are great, altogether a fantastic experience. I even came back into my room to find a complimentary bottle of Bubbles! Thank you Senses..you will be seeing me again.

Very clean well maintained hotel. Restaurant and reception staff very friendly and helpful. Good location. - No mirrors in bedroom only in very small shower room with the fixed hairdryer. Room soundproofing really not good especially as we were allocated an adjoining room. TV next door, talking, showering and every conversation heard clearly!

Great hotel, great staff shame about the breakfast

Lovely relaxing hotel with a chilled out pool area. Our only disappointment was the quality of the breakfast. Probably the worst I have had in Majorca, eggs way undercooked, water was clearly tap water, hardly any fruit, fruit juice was terrible and the coffee was hopeless.

We were among the few Americans staying at the property as Mallorca is highly popular with Europeans, We were attracted to the property because of its location close to Palma and the airport but also for its amenities. My wife is a serious swimmer and the main property has three pools to include an Olympic pool for lap swimming. The property is recently renovated and sleek and clean. Wonderful place. Even had a E12.00 buffet dinner for nights when staying in made sense.
