Bait and Switch... This hotel is located in two separate buildings. The one building with the lobby is beautiful. Glass doors and looks like it was renovated very nicely. The other building (which is where we were located) was old, musty and very outdated. No elevator in the second building. Which they did not say on their ad. The shower wasn't working properly and the Air conditioner barely worked... The hall way had more cool air than our room and we had the thermostat way down. The room was not what was shown on the picture. Since we were only here for 2 nights we stayed, however, we seriously considered leaving to another hotel. The ad says they have an enervator because they do in the one building, but If you get stuck with a room in the other building like we did, then you are out of luck. On a positive note, the women who checked us into the hotel was very friendly and helpful. The location was great! Close to water taxi and within walking distance to main roads and attractions. Carrying the luggage up stairs on the bridge to get to property was a bit of a challenge but we managed. The location was also nice and quiet.
very quaint and elegant room just like the pictures shown. helpful desk staff and easy to find. would recommend and stay again! very reasonable
A really lovely property! Reception were so helpful and friendly! Property was super clean and had all the facilities you needed and more, minibar, safe, cupboards, sewing kit, hair dryer, cotton buds etc. To enter you get a private pin to enter the reception area, which made us feel safe. 5 minute walk to the nearest waterbus station and not far from the sites. Also a good range of shops and restaurants near by, only a few small allies away! Totally recommend here, a lovely stay!
Great location - quiet and away from crowds, but an easy walk to everything. Staff was excellent. Room was a little small but very pretty. Only complaint was that the shower was a little small. Overall a very nice stay and we would stay again.
Property was lovely, staff very attentative and helpful and knowledgeable.
I love this hotel
This is a good, cute, no-fuss hotel. I recommend it to people who know how to get around and are low-key. It is about a 30-minute walk from San Lucia station—maybe a schlep, maybe an adventure, depending on who you are. We loved the location- only a couple blocks from a main street but very quiet and peaceful. The staff were professional and courteous, they gave us a map of the area and were on hand to book tours if we needed (we did not.)
Excellent service
I found the front-desk staff extremely helpful and informative.
The location was PERFECT! It was just off the main strip, so it was quiet. Minutes to everything. And the front desk was extremely helpful with restaurant tips, etc. The room was great, bathroom was very clean and spacious! LOVED IT!!!
Room problem resolved quickly
The original space we booked had a small issue with water but the staff were very responsive and provided us with a better room which was excellent. Neda who worked at the front desk was very responsive, professional, and very service oriented. We enjoyed the location and amenities of the room.
Nice stay
Great location hotel
Lovely hotel, great location. Very clean and eco friendly
This hotel is beautiful and close to EVERYTHING. The breakfast was the best buffet we had ever had in our travels home or abroad!
Staff were very helpful and friendly. Room was nice. Within walking distance to most of Venice's top attractions.
Staff were excellent, I was on 2nd floor with no lift and staff assisted me with my case. Snack bar open and free from15:00 to 22:00 Nice quiet area but still central to transport and good restaurants. Single room was small
We enjoyed our stay in this property. We were right beside tge canal where we saw fishes go by. The room was clean and so nostalgic. The ladies at the front desk were very helpful as well as the kitchen staff. Wish we could stay longer… next time!!!
Very nice and comfortable accommodation! We could not get the air conditioning to work and it was warm on the third floor but otherwise we were very happy with the property. I appreciated the complimentary coffee. The breakfast looked very good.
We found it extremely hard to find as our flight was delayed.
The Covid-19 epidemic has caused the ban of American tourists from visiting Italy (Venice). I made repeated contacts with Gruppo UNA to get a refund for the rooms paid for months ago and was basically told to pound sand. I will never, ever, visit or recommend one of their properties. FYI, Expedia was of absolutely no help with trying to help with this situation. Very, very disappointed.
It’s smells terrible couldn’t stay there ever again but the staff was very nice and it was close to many areas
