The shower only had 2 temps. Extremly hot and luke warm because the knob was loose.

I'm a Hilton girl, and this experience might have changed me to aMarriot. As it is, my only complaint was I picked the hotel for the shuttle b\c it said free shuttle. It was free, but only for airport transportation. Everything else was great.

Great place to stay

This hotel was close to the airport about 5min or so, room was clean had a dorm style kitchen which i enjoyed. Only thing that would have made it better would be an oven. Very quiet location, breakfast included.

Room size was great

Loved the size of the room and all the desk space we really needed for work. Bed was comfortable, great pillows.

Great hotel to stay

It was a very good stay. The only thing that you could have make it perfect was to have a toilet seat with the correct shape(ours was round and shorter than the toilet itself). Also, the air conditioner was loud but fortunately, we had some ear plugs to wear to be able to sleep. Otherwise, the patio near the pool was very pleasant. The breakfast had a lot of choices. And the location was great. Would recommend this hotel again.

Spacious room

The first room I was placed in didn’t have a door that locked. Luckily the front desk was able to move me to a different room.

Loved everything about this stay but the only reason that it is not a 5 star for me is because i could not get the tv to face the bed it only faced the kitchen and living space

My truck window was broken and an item stolen. Security and lighting are not good at this location.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The laundry and exercise facilities were very clean and useful. Complimentary hot cocoa was delicious. Parking and coming in and out of the parking area was easy and convenient.

Good property but some TLC needed

Overall we liked the property and the staff were friendly. There were lots of little things with the condition of the room and building that needed work. For example, runners loose or not installed well in stairs, front door of room didn't close properly and a few others. As I said not big issues but they do need to be addressed. On a more positive note, great breakfast, hotel was quiet, staff was helpful and it was about 6 to 10 minutes drive from anywhere we needed to go.

Location is very close to the airport. The courtesy shuttle was a few minutes late and it was busy with holiday traffic, but we did get to our planes in time. Complementary breakfast was not available for early morning travelers, and there were no alternative options for breakfast on the go. Room was comfortable.

Friendly staff

Well kept up property. Beautiful lobby, room was spacious and nice. Staff was very hospitable. All in all a good stay.

We were extremely upset and disappointed at the lack of shuttle service since this is the ONLY reason we made a reservation at an airport motel. The shuttle broke down and no alternate transportation or compensation was offered and the registration desk staff justified this attitude by saying it was only a courtesy service. Their website should make it clear that shuttle service may or MAY NOT be available.

The best staff ever .

Actually, the front desk people were fine. I needed a shuttle to the airport at 5:30 am, which they advertise the service as starting at 5 am. They driver ended up being an hour late, and no one else offered to help me find a way to the airport. They driver showed up just before 6 am and got me there just in time, but good grief!

When i booked the room i was told the shuttle service was 24/7 not so. They stopped at 10. The poor guy on the night shift didn’t have key cards, had to run all over. Hall ways were very hot. Dirty fork in sink, mold in shower Luckily the morning girl took us to the airport area

Clean, friendly, nice place…

Nice hotel and an excellent rate. Area around it is under construction currently but otherwise a good choice close to the airport without being under it.

The room was very clean, everything was in order when we arrived. The employees were all very polite and attentive. We don't often do hotels due to noise, cleanliness, parking and space however, we found this location exceeded our expectations. We would stay here again on our next trip.

Hotel okay shuttle is a no

The stay was very rocky. The shuttle did not arrive where I was told. The driver was not helpful especially after waiting an hour. The front desk was helpful and tried to rectify issue. Next morning however shuttle left without me as I was 3 minutes late. There had been frequent conversation the day before which shuttle I would be on. Breakfast was okay but all hot entrees were cold. Bed and room was nice although travel companion required 3 changes due to a/c not working in any of them. Would recommend if not needing to actually use shuttle services.

There was a huge air conditioner/heater unit in the room that barely left enough room to get into the right side of the bed. The noise was like a jet engine all night and I have no hot water. Otherwise, fine.

Poorly managed hotel

This is a poorly managed Residence Inn. We stayed here for 6 nights during the Thanksgiving weekend while visiting our daughter. The biggest problem is that there was no hot water in the room. Each morning we had to run the bathtub water for 30 minutes to finally get water that was only lukewarm; it never got hot. We complained to the front desk about this after our first night, but nothing was done. We were told that the problem was due to the low occupancy of the hotel, but I have stayed a lots of other hotels during low occupancy, and they did not have this problem. Additionally, although there was almost no one in the hotel, the parking lot was 80% full, and it was difficult to get a space near the hotel front door. Clearly the hotel was allowing many visitors to the surrounding apartments to park in the hotel parking lot. There are so many things wrong with this hotel that it is hard to describe them all in one review. Our first room had an extremely noisy refrigerator, so we changed rooms. The morning breakfast is poor: no cut fruit, just a few apples in a basket. Turkey sausage patties were hard and dry. No waffle maker. The posted breakfast hours differed from the hours on the hotel website. There was no bedding in our room for the fold out bed, even though a sign in the room said there was. We had to call twice to finally get them to bring bedding. There was no toilet paper in the restroom off the hotel lobby, etc, etc.

No housekeeping service

The front desk said there was no housekeeping service over this particular reason, for whatever reason? We had to take our trash out and ask for new trash bags which wasn’t a big problem but really shouldn’t be a part of a stay if you pay IMO. Anyhow, overall decent stay. Wouldn’t go back to this location.

Very unprofessional - we arrived at 100 am due to our delayed flight to find out the hotel had no rooms available despite having a confirmed reservation- no call - no message - no notification- I have small children and now we have to scramble in the middle of the night to find somewhere to stay

I felt the hotel was kinda dirty. Mold all over the outlets. Mildew everywhere. Mildew stains on the ceilings and walls and the strongest mildew smell I have ever smelt.

This property is VERY hard to find. There is a small temporary sign on the access road mostly buried in weeds as the only indicator. Our room had visible water leaks in the ceiling, missing lampshade and broken fixtures. A decent 2 star effort, but nowhere near expectation for cost.

Did not like the remote for the TV was moved to my phone. Had issues with the set up

Only thing unusual was trap and cement bags at front door which we had to step over to enter front doors. No explanation or excuse our mess comments given. Unsure how wheelchair and difficulty walking people would come in. Or EMT services if needed. Otherywe like the hotel. We stayed here a year ago and no problems.

Unfair

Was excellent...... until we got billed $100 pet fee after we checked out! This was almost more than the room and made our one night stay almost DOUBLE!!!!!! And our pets did not make any mess or damage anything at all.

Everything was great. I enjoy the peacefulness about the area. The only thing I would say is for breakfast to have a little more variety.

Hotel was new. Which was nice. It is located in an area that is isolated. Nothing surrounds the hotel. So it was a surprise when I was told there was a $10 parking fee. I travel all over the country and I have only seen this in big cities. Not in the middle of an empty stretch of land. The room is a typical residence inn. However with the temperatures being very hot I needed the air conditioner. Unfortunately the AC vent blew air directly on the bed. I knew this would be annoying so I tried to turn it off. Was not possible. It kept running. I even turned on the AC and moved the temp to 99 but it still ran. Turned it to off but it still ran. So was left with the Fan blowing directly on me all night. Didn’t sleep very well. Why would they put the vent in a position to blow directly on the bed? Had a rough day due to lack of sleep. Not a good experience.

Not very clean

The hotel staff were friendly and helpful however the room itself was not very clean. We found 2 roaches in our room, one came from the bathroom as I was showering and the other was dead in the room for who knows how long. Bathroom walls were peeling as well. The area is not close to very much at all, travel time to downtown was good though.

Drove in to Austin for a family wedding, great to have family come in and stay together. Everyone enjoyed the hospitality of the hotel and representatives. Shuttle was a great option used to transport my family of 13.

The whole experience was good. Pool is adequate, exercise room is adequate. Breakfast is good. Convenient to airport. In-room kitchen is convenient, especially since there is no on-property restaurant or anywhere within walking distance to go for food. For the price, it was a good stay.

The hotel was fine but this property has added a $10 parking charge. The Hotels.com website states parking is free. I booked through Hotels.com but paid at the hotel and was charged the parking fee. At no time was I asked about a vehicle by any of the staff at the hotel. I could have been dropped off and still charged the parking fee. It feels a bit deceptive on the part of Marriott.

Need to put a BIG sign of the hotel name at the corner of Ben White , not enough towels. I booked my room before they began charging $10 each night to park, I don't think I will book again due to that, you should not be adding on extra fees its not like the hotel is downtown. Finally you guys should mix up the breakfast sausage eggs both days.

I made this booking last minute, and everything was awesome at check-in. I got there super early before my check-in time, but the guy in the front desk was awesome enough to let me check-in early. Bring soap, and shampoo.

Alyssa at the front desk was extremely nice and helpful, and took care of us with all our questions and needs. The hotel is kind of hidden especially at night when driving to find it but after a day or 2 you get used to it.

My stay was absolutely amazing.The best part of my trip was the extremely kind, warm, welcoming and professional staff at the Residence Inn by Marriott- Austin airport. I hope Marriott is taking care of them and compensating them accordingly for the hard work they do. I hope to be back again hopefully very soon.

Great choice if being near the airport is your goal. Am thankful for this option when dealing with a super early flight.
