Cozy place and wonderful service
Everything from the check-in speedy process through the whole stay made for a pleasant experience.
Really like the property.. we came really late and were greeted with nice staff. The only thing that bother us, the cleaning service just opened Our door like 10am, a Guy came in to see if the room empty. I said no. Unfortunately we didn’t lock the door because we came like 6am, and were really tired. I wish they communicated with the front desk to see which room already check out. We had a late check out that day. Still the noise were bothering us that would like to sleep in a little bit more
This was a fine motel but I would have preferred having clean towels and the bed made since we stayed there for two nights. Of course, I can make my own bed, and use towels for two nights, so this is not a major problem.
A nice affordable hotel near the Grand Canyon. Staff were extremely polite and accommodating. Will stay at again.
Great staff, friendly and competent
If you need stay @grand canyan. This hotel is a great choice
The location to the Grand Canyon.
Expensive.
Excellent place to stay
Perfect for pre-canyon hike and loved the 24 hour coffee bar!
Very nice property. Easy to find great location. Very friendly staff
It was nice place to stay for a night while visiting Grand Canyon !
Very convenient just outside national park. Room was quite small for 4 people.
Great
Great access to Grand Canyon National Park. Well maintained older facility. Staff courteous and helpful.
Over $300/night and neither vending machine worked.....
The room is clean, and comfortable. The bathroom area is small. Definitely overpriced for what your getting
Property is older, but well maintained and clean.
Great stay
Mexican restaurant just waking distant
It's a place to sleep and close to the south rim.
Great location for the Grand Canyon
Staff was efficient and very nice. Rooms were clean and comfortable
It was a very basic hotel but it was clean close to park.
Professional operation, but the bare minimum in accommodations. Over-priced.
Staff was really nice.
Friendly service and clean rooms
Rustic hotel with a Clean and tidy room. Staff was very friendly and hospitable.
Ooooo
Great place to stay!
Rooms were clean and comfortable. Thank you
Stayed in the older motel part of the hotel was nice. Could park right outside the room rooms are a little bit older but in good condition and nice and clean stay
clean, large rooms! great location, close to South Rim Grand Canyon.
first time I’ve stayed at this hotel and I honestly highly recommend it! It’s about eight minutes to the south rim Grand Canyon entrance. It’s clean the rooms are large and the bed and linens are super comfortable!
This is a great hotel in a great location. Fabulous staff! Very clean and well maintained!
Hotel is clean, rooms are small, staff are helpful and friendly. I traveled with my disabled son and was upset that they did not honor my repeated requests to make him feel more comfortable during his stay.
A bit on the older side, our room had a musky smell but definitely bearable. Value for money, average, but not cheaper than other options. I would stay here again if im in the area.
We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel. Nice room, good dining nearby and friendly staff. However if you like quiet then you would be advised to ask for a room some distance from the lobby as other guests and staff can be little noisy
.
This property is in a convenient location, and it is very clean
Comfortable & clean, great location in town. Only problem was internet was down at times, no tv at times.
Clean spacious room with a comfortable bed.
Red Feather Lodge was an exxcellent choice for our trip to Grand Canyon. Room was very clean, lots of nice towels and tea/coffee available. Would return again!
Poor value
Stairway on one end & room on other end of building. One ice machine & in another building. Room odor musty. Vanity mirror tilted toward floor with no adjustment. Extremely dirty glass windows. There are newer rooms in building with the lobby. We were placed in another building which appears to be the existing two story motel with the old lobby closed & being used for other purposes. No elevator in this building. Disappointed in motel’s marketing & poor value.
Very nice hotel with big rooms and good facilities. It is only a 10 minutes drive to the Grand Canyon South Rim. They offer free coffee all day long and a few dining options are available within a walking distance.
Very clean rooms and friendly and helpful staff. A great place to stay that is vey close to fhe southern rim entrance of the Grand Canyon
It is a very basic, nothing fancy hotel. I was disappointed that the mini fridge didn't work correctly (it was either off or on which froze my food so I had to throw our a lot of produce) NO MICROWAVE was very disappointing. TV service was out for a day and a half. It's close to the Grand canyon and easy to get to
I was impressed by the quiet and cleanliness. They offered housekeeping, which is unusual these days and very welcome after hiking in the red dust of the Canyon. They also were conscious of the environment, not changing sheets or replacing towels each day unless asked. The AC worked well and was very quiet. My only request would be to have a choice of different types of pillows. Mine all were too soft.
Close to Grand Canyon.
Nice room. Excellent customer service in the daytime. We forgot our food in the refrigerator and the hotel staff saved it for us in their refrigerator until we came back and checked our ID before they hand delivered to us. Good people and great service
Convenient to GC park
Close to the Grand Canyon
Very nice and clean property. Good location and very kind stuff.
I wish they had elevators
As soon as the air con is turned out huge pieces of dust came out and was blown onto the beds
Hotel and staff have been friendly
Its just convenient location to visit Grand Canyon and lot of dining options around. The rooms are average
Very outdated
Toilet flush handle was very hard to move.
The hotel was clean, the staff were friendly, location is excellent 👌
Beautiful hotel with great staff, comfortable beds, fresh clean room. Close to Grand Canyon, beautiful area.
Great!
A Wonderful Stay
The Red Feather Hotel was perfect for our 4 night stay. It was extremely clean and very comfortable. It was a great location to the entrance to the Grand Canyon. The staff and housekeeping were very friendly and accommodating. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting in the area.
Excllent comfortable location for GC
Nice property and close to the Canyon.
Nice experience, clean, and convenient to explore the area.
Great service here
It was just basic
Very nice. Room was ready early.
Needs to update.
Stayed one night when going to Grand Canyon. Places to stay is limited if we wanted to stay near the park. The hotel was for sure over priced for what it was. I had requested a king bed, did not get it, we slept in seperate beds as they were small and plug access was very limited, only one side of the bed. There was also nothing to put a beverage or phone on one side of the bed. Updates are needed. Traveled during lower season but room was still over $300. We had to park way on the other side of the detached hotel rooms even when staying at main building. Wonder how this all works during high season. Location, location, location will keep it full foe the price.
Great location. Close to the South Rim entrance of the Grand Canyon. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Room is well sized. Refrigerator was convenient since we have a toddler. Nice beverage access in the main lobby (coffee, tea and hot chocolate). Grab some tea and chocolate from the lobby because there is only coffee in the room
.
It was OK
Pool and hot tub were nice
Very nice hotel, checking in people are helpful and friendly, room is clean and comfortable.
Excellent property! Perfect distance from the South Rim of the Grand Canyon! Clean. Beds are comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful!! Would definitely stay here again!
Red Feather Lodge has a terrific location. Just outside the Grand Canyon South Rim gate. Rooms were spacious and clean. Fridge and microwave in room. Really enjoyed the free tea and coffee selection in the lobby. Parking was a bit tricky if you come back late at night. Also really appreciated the water filling station near the lobby. Restaurant next door. Wendy’s next to back parking lot. McDonald’s across the street.
Check in was very easy. My room was spacious and very clean. Fridge and freezer very helpful. Also their coffee/tea station was a nice plus.
When the reservation was made I noted I was handicapped, when we arrived I was told the only room they had for me was upstairs, with no elevator. I told them I was unable to do the stairs and they could care less, the front desk clerk was rude and basically didn’t believe I was disabled as it is not always noticeable. After telling them again and again I couldn’t do the stairs they came up with a first floor room for me. When discussed with the manager the next day all she could ask was “what do you want me to do” my answer was train your staff better for handicapped persons.
Clean, comfortable room with very accommodating staff
We were very happy with our room.
Rollaway bed was super comfy and good value for the $. Location was perfect for Grand Canyon access
All good
Very well kept property and super friendly staff!
The motel room is dated. There was dirt in the sink which is gross
Great service. Clean, comfortable stay.
Nice facility and friendly staff!
This property was clean and would stay there again.
Biggest complaint is no microwave in room. There is one available but it was in the far part of the hotel for everyone to share. Stayed in the old part of the hotel called the motel. No breakfast. The staff was helpful fixing our room so we didn't have to move between days. I had made the reservations separately so I could get a cheaper price. I did feel uncomfortable the first night, but that could have been because it was very busy. The next day was fine. This is the second time we have stayed here. It is close to the park and good price for the area.
Needs a lot more parking.
Great stay
Great hotel. Very clean. Somewhat expensive.
This was a very clean and quiet hotel, staff were also nice.
2nights at GC
2 night stay here. We didn't know they were a "hotel/motel" place. So our original room was in the "motel" building. It was god awful so we asked to be moved to the Hotel building and they were very accommodating. Rooms were much better.
Nice basic hotel, free parking and quiet. So close to the Grand Canyon!
I would recommend this hotel.
We were originally in the old motel building. The room, which was pretty expensive, was disappointing and smelled like cigarette smoke. We asked to be changed and the staff was very accommodating. They moved us to a room in the newer, but still old, main building. This room was much nicer, but it was dark. It was also much more expensive. The beds have sharp corners on the frames and since the frames are dark color and the room is dark the corners are hard to see. All in our party left with bruised shins from the corners so watch out. The biggest issue is that when other guests let their doors slam shut at all hours it sounded like a cannon going off. The rooms are not sound proof and the loud booming woke us up often. I would not recommend the old building with the exterior doors, but the main building with interior hallways is better but way expensive for what you get.
The location was great while visiting Grand Canyon, only a few miles away. Restaurants within walking distance. We stayed in the motel part of this property. It was clean, quiet, and the beds & pillows were so comfortable. Had a good night sleep.
Nice hotel, only stayed one night after gking to Grand Canyon
Breakfast included would be great, for the price. Also, if the front desk people are able to answer initial questions about the Grand Canyon, that would be really helpful. Some people like us came, not being part of a tour. The front desk staff should have some knowledge of the area and what’s going on.
Very nice staff. Room was very clean. Toilet was terrible. TV had limited channels.
Great location near the Grand Canyon South Rim!
