great location and lovely staff
I visited istambul for 2 weeks and stayed at Revan suites, Everthing is thesame as pictures they have online ,rooms are big and flat got everything that you can need for your stay. It's closed to all busy attractions by walk, they make me fell welcomed and helped with everyone needed ,spacial thanks to Vahattin who was very kind and thanks to Yunus and Mehmet who helped with everything.
Not ready for US tourists
The property is under renovations, the check in was odd, there was just a guy in the entrace area (not really a lobby). He appears to live in a room by the entrance. I did not feel confortable or safe as the man had the code to my door and I appeared to be the only guest there when I checked in. Additionally, there front door is unlocked until midnight and anyone can come in. I stayed one night and left. I had a non refundable reservation and chose to loose the $660 , my safety is worth more than that. There is no elevator and the stairs are steep and snail shape. The kitchen sink was dirty and there was a nasty sponge next to the overused bottle of dish soap. While Old City Istanbul is in the mist of a revitalization, it is not at all ready for tourists from Europe or the US.
One of the worst hotels ever.
This was one of the worst hotel stays i’ve ever had and I don’t even know where to begin. 1. TV was broken for the entirety of the time. 2. No hot water for the shower. 3 No blackout curtains with bright sun skylight directly over bed. 4. Employee spoke poor English. 5. Employee said I could switch rooms but they never let me switch rooms. 6. No elevator. 7. Bed and pillows were hard and old.
Great Apartment in the Old City
Great apartment that has just been renovated. Comes with all facilities including kitchen and washing machine. The reception staff were all very helpful. It's a little way from public transport meaning a walk up hill is required to get to most sites. Lots of local shops around so you can buy at much less inflated prices than the bazaar.
We stayed for 3 nights and had an amazing time in the hotel. It is located within walking distance from some of the main attractions. The staff was very helpful and polite, especially the cleaning lady Fatima. The windows are not sound proof so it could be a little noisy at night but overall a really good place to stay.
Great for a family
Wonderful place , historic but we'll modernized , near many attractions, very helpful staff specially the pretty Fatima the house keeper, the apartment was huge , clean and comfortable, all the amenities needed are there, in front a lot of supermarkets , bakery and Iranian barber , the only pitfall is that no buses or minibuses in the main street , you can take taxi or descend down the beach or ascend uphill to sultan Ahmad street or walk to ayasofia or walk back to yenikabi It takes 15-20 min walk in either direction
The place looks exactly like the picture. It’s very clean and it has plates, pots etc. I love the old architecture with modern furniture. Very beautiful decor. Marvel bathroom and smelled really good. However, the cleaning lady kept asking me if I was going to check out which became annoying. Her idea of coming to clean is vacuuming and giving you towel. They don’t do dishes or anything like that. So it’s basically do it yourself. No one speaks English. But over highly recommend the space.
The room we had was very spacious, clean, and was one of the highlights of our stay in Sultanahmet. Fatima, one of the employees, was especially courteous and helpful. I look forward to staying here the next time I visit Istanbul!
Don’t book this place - worst option
No elevators so not good for elderly. Water went out for an hour, location is terrible (requires walking uphill for half a mile to get to main area), no sidewalks, very hard to get a taxi. The cleaning person was really nice, but apart from that would never recommend people to stay here.
Very clean, tidy and close to Sultanahmet area .. staff is helpful and cheerful all the time..
Nice apartment and very responsive host. Very close to many attractions and restaurants
It has a good location, Hotel staff esere vere helpful.
Good but don't stay long
Apartment is well maintained and gives a good impression but watch out for a few things: 1- WiFi just doesn't work properly. You can get few hours of WiFi spread throughout the day if you are luck - complains made, they tried to fiz it several times without success. 2- It is in a very busy street. It can be very noisy from early in the morning with the traffic and cars honking. 3- TV is there but no channels. Host said the issue was with the provider. We stayed here for two weeks straight. We had to work and I told the host WiFi was essential. Despite the reply that they had great internet, the reality is that I spent almost 100€ with my own Internet.
Genel olarak hersey güzeldi. Sadece banyo temizligi daha iyi olabilirdi. Otel sorumlusu Bahattin bey her konuda yardimci oldu. Teşekkürler.
Comfortable and stylish appartment
Very nice appartment, we had an excellent stay here.
Excellent hosts, great location
The staff is amazing! Very responsive, kind and helpful! The rooms are nice size and clean, the bathroom is a little dated and could use a "face lift".The property is located in a central part and is very close to everything. We stayed there with kids and had no issues.
