The only complaint I have is the TV is so low on the wall so when your laying in bed we found it could be put higher onto the wall so we can see if better over our feet!

Amazing

Room was large and clean (king suite) Had planned to extend our stay another night but glad we didnt was so unbelievably noisy at night. Whole parking lot in front of hotel that fills with semis running all night. Seemed to be a unit on the roof above our room that was so loud. Got no sleep. Tub took forever to drain and made the toilet bubble up. Toilet also plugged. Try to speak to front desk and they walked into the back, no one around when we checked out to talk to.

The faucet leaked, the sink didn’t drain, the toilet had a substantial leak that we needed to use our towels on the floor and we walked on the towels. Beds and pillows were definitely mediocre and the floors were not clean.

We booked it because there was an indoor pool. the pool was being renovated so we had no access to it

Nice hotel I have stayed in the past and I will again in the future

We were not made aware of the renovations going on, and it seriously impacted the amenities available. The hotel is basically torn all up, but I will say the beds were comfy. Disappointing.

Needs a refresh

Never stayed in a room with three queen beds as an option before. Loved that. Enjoyed the pool and the breakfast. We wished for a waffle or a pancake in the morning and for a nice walk nearby but it was easy to find and good for what we needed.

The only issue we had was we did not have hot water to shower. Other then that it was good

Our room was clean and comfortable, staff was friendly and check in was quick.

I liked that the pool was convenient for guests. Also excellent breakfast to start the day.

Stayed for three nights to visit Yoho and Banff National Parks, furthest which is an hour drive away. The hotel is older, as the walls and floors are thin to the point that you can hear your upstairs neighbors and people walking along the hallway, but the rooms themselves have been tastefully redecorated and refreshed to their best of their abilities, with tile flooring at the entryway and newer beds. Breakfast is very average with daily scrambled eggs, pork sausage, potatoes, and an assortment of fruits, yougart, and muffins. It does the job to fill you up but nothing to write home about. A Tim Horton, McDonald's, A&W, KFC a Korean restaurant, and a burger joint are all nearby. All in all, it's a cost effective option than paying the prices to stay in Banff.

Great stay accept the folks above us were noisy playing something. Also the golf academy boys and equipment were blocking access to hotel front door and lobby. They were not showing respect that I would expect taught by a golf academy. To check out I had to ask permission to play through.

Was a nice place to stay the night and for the kids to have some fun in the pool.

Check in person at front desk was terrible and rude. Check out persons both were excellent!

Front desk staff were fine not overly friendly but efficient. The room seemed clean but run down. Food services nearby were reasonable. The breakfast was okay.

The room is big. Parking is free. The staff is nice. It is clise to some dining areas.

So I went and gave my girls a bath. Then go to drain the tub. Nothing. Great. So I go down and get a dirty plunger from the night guy. Manage to get it to slowly drain… 45 min of screwing around. Now tub is full of grossness. Ask him for some draino…could not give me any as it would stink up the hallway…..really. This didn’t just happen either… this took awhile to plug that bad. Cleaners not realize it didn’t drain when cleaning the tub…. Do they clean the tub? Sooo 2/5 for good reason. Also rather then help me the night guy was busy letting his friends use the pool after kicking everyone out. No awful, probably happens a lot, but that’s a little greasy.

Decent breakfast , rear rooms quiet. Bathtub did not drain fast enough. The pool was ice cold and the jacuzzi had a lot of floating skin particles.

Hotel is close to downtown Golden, 10 minute drive.

Does not feel welcoming and one regular evening staff was so snarky and intentionally rude. Pool and hot tub are pretty dirty and no care or accommodations for celiac/ gluten free needs.

An okay hotel on the Golden strip. Breakfast is included. It was limited but fine. The room was a standard size. Again okay. The hot tub was okay but the pool was freezing cold. Staff we encountered were pleasant.

I booked the room for 2 days and my rooms Air conditioner was not working. I complaint and they fixed it next day as Darwin mentioned he can’t help with it and didn't even bother to come and check. On second night it started making knocking noises and I had to shut down the AC myself. I asked for refund as I didn’t get facility I paid for and I visited with toddler and child and those were difficult nights. I was told they will call me but still they charged me full amount. Don’t expect any service if something is not running.

The property is way overpriced. I’ve traveled a lot. It should have been half what they charged me. Even in the summer months.

Recently renovated, still very nice and clean. Breakfast was ok, get you full, it’s complementary. Quite a few restaurants options around the hotel. I would stay again next time

Property was clean and tidy. Staff were friendly. Hotel is located by truck stops so it is more like an overnighting hotel on a road trip. Not somewhere I would have an extended stay.

Friendly staff but property is on older side. The breakfast at this Ramada is not good compared to the Ramada in Revelstoke. Was disappointed as we were hoping for bacon and eggs and pancakes.

Overall this place is decent as it's in the middle of nowhere. There is a pool and hot tub that are decent, however it was full after 5pm so we chose to not use it. There are no decent restaurants close by but a few options a few kms away.

Goid location, and friendly and helpful staff. Rooms decent size. But a lot of wear and tear on rooms, corridors and pool - needs some work done. Breakfast fine, but in far too small a room for size of hotel so very crowded and slow - go early!

The hotel was mediocre. The lady who checked us in was nice and friendly but other staff were not. The power went out over and over on the evening we arrived. I’d probably choose to stay elsewhere next time if we stop in Golden.

We stay for 1 night and paid $380 for that. In night time power outage in that area for 5 to 6 hours and they don't have any generator facility in hotel. My family didn't sleep well whole night. In the morning we went for breakfast and they don't have hot breakfast. I don't know why expedia sites not take any action on this type of problems.

Rather run down property

They charged me $20 for the 2 people, they siad its for breakfast, but there was no breakfast! When I booked it at Expedia.com, I wanted to change it to 4 people, I was told not needed, I booked the 2 bedroom suite! At the check in, they charge $20 extra because the reservation is for 2 people, why do I need a 2 bedroom suite if I only have 2 people?

The main problem was that Expedia booked us a room that only fit 4 people, even though we specifically asked for a 5 person room. It was a real pain to switch rooms and cost us more money. The air conditioner made a really loud rattle and the power went out for hours in the middle of the night…not great at 33 degrees!

Really nice hotel. Staff are lovely and the location is great.

My daughter hit her head on the bathtub when she’s taking a shower due to slippery bathtub.

This hotel could use some updates, shower curtain was torn and the balcony above the services desk you could tell was very dusty.
