3 adult men were suggested to sleep in one King bed!!! Wow! We were really shocked how unfriendly the check in progress can be!!! The manager at the reception told us that they are lack of twin rooms. We were suggested to use one King bed for three of us!!!!)) Can you really imagine this?!))) By the way, we are are 3 adult men, we are very friendly but we're not eager to sleep all together. I'd like to remind that we payed the room for 3 adults and requested a twin bed and an extra bed.
Quite nice place to stay
Good hotel many unexcuseable fails
It is increadeable a 5star hotel and you have to carry your luggage in front of guys that looks should doing this. Also the full paid stay wasn't at system... sad by using Hotels.com
So-so
Rather disappointing overall, very hot in the room, even with the window open, key card kept not working so I had to go up and down to reception several times.
A/c doesn't work but great room service
Went for the advertised staycation. The room service (food) is solid and prompt (<30 minutes). The rooms are as beautiful as they look in the photos and the clerk's speak decent English. My only complaints relate to the water and A/C. When I arrived, the water quit after washing my hands. A technician came to fix it, but it took 30 minutes for the rust to finish running out of the pipes in the bath tub. Even with the A/C on its lowest setting (12 celsius) it never really cooled down the room. This was a major drag and really marred what was otherwise a nice stay in an interesting, convenient location.
Pleasant Stay at Radisson Astana
Hotel is located beside the bank and near to Astana Park. Breakfast has good selection but would be nice if there can be some variation of the hot food. Room is big and ample space to move around and for those with big luggage. Toilet is big too. Good if there is charging plug beside the bed. Staff were attentive though not all are proficient in English. Nice gesture to accommodate our request for late check as we were on 6pm flight. Guests are able to access World Class fitness centre, a mega fitness centre with classes, gym floor and indoor pool. Will stay at the property again for my next visit.
it was great but do not tell me what to write when i am doing a voluntary survey
Good hotel
The hotel is good. I didn’t like that they don’t have their own gym and they use WorldClass club’s facilities which are great but you get a coupon for one time visit per day
Business travel in Astana
The temperature in my room was very hot even without the heat turned on, but everything else about my stay was lovely. The Radisson is in a good location by the river. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating.
Decent hotel experience
Overall decent hotel experience. Good food (though a bit overpriced), nice gym affiliation. Rooms and hotel in general a bit outdated. Good service overall though.
good
Good hotel
Clean room, good breakfast, excellent fitness center
Very comfortable stay with pleasant and efficient staff. Shirt business trip, therefore not very much to say
Great view and excellent breakfast.
Great view of the river and/or the city. Excellent breakfast and very friendly staff.
Good snowy business hotel
The lay-out is a bit dated--lots of marble and columns, which wasn't a great first impression. However the room and furinishing were all first class. The service staff were wonderful and very responsive.
Stay at the Astana Radisson
Excellent property, a little pricey
I ENJOY STAING WITH THEM THEY PROVIED GOOD SERVESES
Phenomenally overpriced for this level of hotel
The best thing about this hotel is its enormous breakfast buffet served till 10:30am so that you can skip lunch, and the access to the fitness center/spa/swimming pool -- although their system of making you obtain a pass for each visit is tedious (as is the same Internet pass system, instead of just offering open access). For the phenomenal price you'd expect much more: that the towel warmer in the bath should work; that there should at least be a kettle in the room for coffee and tea; that the mirrored closet shouldn't have a crack in it -- all of the small stuff that makes a hotel worth the price. But the Radisson more or less has a monopoly as the only Western chain in town. This hotel would have been just fine at half the price. Let's hope future competition spurs either better service or room amenities. It would also be a better hotel if they served more Kazakh or Russian food, but the menu offerings in that regard are sparse (just manti) and mostly focus on pizza and European cuisine. Not even one shashlik or plov offering? The result is that you have to venture out into the tundra (-20C) if you want to eat well.
So so
Wonderful helpful stuff! Thank you guys so very much!
