Ostensibly attractive property with good front desk staff, but let down by: - Poor condition of the hotel - very poor breakfast service (supposed to start from 06:00, still not ready at 06:30) - rude breakfast staff I wouldn't stay again, nor would my colleagues

This hotel was absolutely stunning! I loved everything! The friendly workers, the spacious bathroom and bedroom. The jet tub was a hit with my daughter because she loves bubble baths. Safe neighborhood, beautiful gardens, everything was superb! The only downside is the amount of time it takes to get your security deposit back.

Should be great, but isn't

Hotel was obviously very beautiful when new, if you like the very elaborate and ornate style, but has not been well maintained and is now very dated and scruffy. I had to change room after the first night because the blackout curtain wouldn't pull and the shower was problematic. Front desk staff are great, breakfast staff verge on rude and really don't care at all; breakfast is supposed to start at 06:00 and they are simply not ready until 06:15 at the earliest. The buffet still wasn't laid out at 06:30 this morning and the manager just blamed a late truck. Given that they charge a lot for breakfast, that's not acceptable. Beds are very comfortable, shower in the second room was OK, but not really hot enough. My colleagues and I asked to speak to the manager about a long-term arrangement, (s)he wasn't available, we never received the promised call back. That was probably just as well, we won't be spending the next 7 months there under any circumstances.

Checking was slow and restaurant had terrible service. It took an hour and 10 minutes to get our food.

The safety deposit was deducted at the time of checking but it is not returned yet. Also there was no internet during the check out then no receipt was provided during the checkout. I was told that It would be sent trough the email and I never received it

The style is classic but could renew areas to look more modern

Very friendly. The host Jair. He is amazing. Always attentive of what we needed. We went in a large group. And he attend all of us. And made us feel comfortable.

Very old hotel and not worth it

Very outdated hotel, very old, a bit uncomfortable.. hard to find electric outlets (none by the bed to charge the phone!) the shower is almost painful the way the water pressure and head worked , service quite bad - hard to get coffee for the in room machine , construction and workers walking by my first floor window all day, wifi very slow, couldn’t make video calls , and worst of all the toilet won’t flush, got stuck every time . Do not stay here .

Very elegant and a beautiful place to stay... i wanted to stay an extra day but they did not give me the same price value . It was more than double the price i paid per night. So i had to go to another hotel.

The receptionist was very rude at checking time and very disrespectful

This is by far one of the most beautiful hotels we have been to in all of Mexico! Everything was luxurious and the room was well appointed. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone going to Saltillo.

Everything was great, service, hygiene, comfort. Two thingsI didn't like at all, was the tiny swimming pool, about 100 cm deep all length it felt like toddlers pool. For the size of the hotel, it can fit maybe 6 people and it feels crowded. The area around it pleasant but also very small. Second thing, no convinient parking. Car has to left on the street or else on a parking lot not connected to the hotel where you have to walk on the side walk out of the hotel and carry your thing all the way cuz there are no cartsyou can take there to transport yout luggage. The parking to access the lobby for check in. Is always full because people park there for they're stay since there is no convinient parking lot.

En el pasillo del piso 2 y ascensor huele muy mal, no lo veo muy correcto cuando hablamos de un precio elevado, podrían cuidar esos olores horribles y la comida la pueden mejorar. La habitación está excelente.

Good people very clean, food at restaurant bit expensive for the taste, don't mind paying that much but I also expect that grate quality and taste of food.

Rooms are comfortable, spacious, and quiet. Parking was not available near to the hotel so I had to use the valet parking services.

One of my favorite things about this hotel is how they honor my Expedia VIP status every time. I normally reserve more than one room at the time. Every time except for once I got a room upgrade and only because it wasn’t available. This last time, I reserved the presidencial suite and I had an attached full room to it that it normally is a lot more. It was quite nice and surprising. Our son had his own king size bed for his own. Wonderful place!

Everything was great except there is not too much parking available. You can park in the front of the hotel if there is space or you have to take the valet parking (which is free only tips accepted) but it takes a little longer to get your car back.

Overpriced and extra fees

I booked a suite for $85 but they actually charged me $145 and put us in a no suite. I was too tired after traveling all day to change rooms. We got a room service breakfast that was overpriced ($50 USD). The service itself was great- everyone was really attentive, I’m just upset with the extra fees and don’t think it’s worth the price.

The building is beautiful, bedroom was spacious and very well decorated, I loved the room service.

Every thing was fine, except the internet so slow, for sure they can improve it

the room was really nice, the only thing is that I was not aware about the additional fees.

The hotel is beautiful, lobby, restaurant, garden and rooms. But I wish they had more water to offer without charging for it and coffee or coffee maker in the room. The restaurant was ok, a little bit expensive and service a little bit slow and again the water was an issue. But overall I would stay again there.

The hotel is beautiful, full of unexpected little details, like a weather prediction note in your room every night, or the towel decoration with a blue ribbon, the staff is great I believe they should raise their rate and improve maintenance.

Beautiful property with 1st class service. The moment you drive up to the hotel the valet and bell boys are ready to greet you. Check in was smooth and we were offered water and champagne while checking in. The garden and pool area are immaculate. Our rooms are large and have just about anything you’d need. That being said cleanliness has been overlooked. One of the rooms had pillows with dried blood on it and the bathroom mirrors were dirty. AC in one of the rooms wasn’t working, but we were able to request a room transfer pretty quickly. Will see how breakfast and checkout goes tomorrow, but so far it’s been a great stay!

Really good place, going back next weekend. And definitely will be my place to stay from now on.
