I stayed before my shift at the local hospital, and was able to check in early in order to make it to my shift on time. The front desk person was very helpful and did not charge me an extra fee! Will be rebooking again before my next shift !

Disappointed

We read some of the reviews and we did not have the same experience. Our room was clean and the breakfast was great. I had Belgium waffles and my husband had biscuits and gravy. Did hear one person complaining about the cleanliness of their room.

People often leave reviews when things are all bad. But I will do one for them being amazing. My family and I was stuck here until our house was ready and being new to this state we were upset about it. From the moment we walked into the doors until the moment we left everyone on the staff went above and beyond and I do mean everyone! The housekeeping lady who was so sweet. The property managers everyone was kind. Even the other people at the hotel. We felt welcome and comfortable and I just wanted to tell all of the people at this establishment that your staff is AMAZING!

Not an awful stay overall, but we noticed trash in our room when we entered as well as a few dirty or non-functional appliances. Litter containers outside of the doors for cigarettes is not the best look. Investing in actual products for cigarettes would be a worthy investment. The staff shall also ensure that the entirety of the room is clean. Unsure of the staffing levels but a revamped staff or management to better increase morale could additionally be a good investment.

Our first room was very musty. The staff kindly gave us another room, which was better but had been a smoking room at one time. Everything felt grungy - unvaccumed, stains on bedding, stains all over the carpet, ceiling paint peeling, empty vending machines, no coffee…. We usually pick a budget hotel, but have never had one that felt this dirty. We bought Febreze and sprayed clothes after we left.

False advertising

When I booked my trip to Muncie for 2 nights with my 7 year-old son, I had options and chose this hotel. Good location, good photos, I’ve stayed at a Quality Inn before, all good. It was terrible, especially at the price charged per night. Pretty dingy, smelly, outdated overall. The remote control had leftovers of the body fluids of the past 10 guests. There is no breakfast to speak of. Pics show hot trays for eggs and bacon, all you get is a granola bar and watered down juice. We brought our bread, luckily, but they had no butter and I had to beg for jam. The toaster doesn’t work. Instead of bfast, we thought we’d go to the pool before our 4-hour ride home, but our room key didn’t open the door. The guy at the front desk couldn’t help, said to wait for the cleaning crew to show up. We didn’t have 90 min to waste. Positive: comfy beds and quiet room, we slept well.

It was extremely dirty and despite the price being resonable for a typical hotel stay, I consider it WAY overpriced for such unsanitary facility. There is No way they are cleared to serve food in that place. How are they allowed to do business! We left and were not offered a refund. Didn't care! Absolutely disgusting!

Great service, clean room.

Customer service was great. The room was clean, but a little humid. I think the AC unit was alil to big, so it cooled the room fast but didnt condition the room, so it was left a little humid still. Otherwise good.

I was very upset because I filtered that I wanted a pool and yes, they did have a pool, but it was clearly not functioning yet and that’s the whole reason I had rented the room And I could’ve stayed a whole lot closer to where I needed to be like 45 minutes closer if I knew there wasn’t going to be a pool

Not Again

We are Senior Citizens after driving 4hrs to Muncie after checking in there were only 3 Towels in our room The 3 towels (1shave 1face 1floormat) were DINGY & DIRTY!!! My Wife & I Couldn’t/ Wouldn’t Shower Before My Best Friends Funeral NASTY! after driving 4hrs to get there Because We Were PROMISED FRESH TOWELS 1st Thing the next day That We NEVER RECEIVED When We Arrived Therefore NO SHOWERS!!!! NASTY I guess we were lucky that there was someone at the front desk when we arrived after that there was No One there until the next day at Checkout Time HORRIBLE STAY!!! We DESERVE A REFUND!

Staff not present! People having to supply their own pillows and sheets from walmart. Not given towels or room cleaning over two night stay. No bowls or plates for "breakfast" , only given waffle mix and waffle maker, cheap oatmeal creme pies and cheep pastry from gas stations, no other food. All guests were very vocal at their disgust, throwing door keys to unoccupies front desk and leaving the premises very dissatisfied. Gives quality Inn a very bad name!!!!

We checked in at 9pm and the front desk had to check to see if the room had been cleaned. She had to get towels for as there were not enough in the room. The room was damp and musty. I killed an inch-long centipede crawling along the walls. The paint on the ceiling above the shower was cracked and falling into the tub. At no point during our stay did I see maid service anywhere in the hotel. I had to request towels each day and used towels were never removed from the room during our stay. The common eating area was always dark with all the chairs put up onto the tables. Both ice machines were out of service. It was a terrible stay--do not book rooms here.

The continental breakfast was sorely lacking. The options were 3 cereals, little debbie honey buns and oatmeal pies. A chewy chocolate chip granola bar or a peanut butter version. No protein. No eggs. No bacon or sausage. Also, the men's toilet on the hall was ripe from someone's mishap that went uncleaned the 2 nights we were there.

Smokers paradise

We reserved a non-smoking room and after waiting 30 minutes to clean a room we were given a room that reeked of smoke. We were told this was the only room available even though the parking lot was half full. We left and now have to fight for a refund.

The staff are never at the front desk!! The room was dirty and had a musty mildew smell in the front room and cigarette smoke smell in the back room. I had a suite. Blankets dirty and turned over so you couldn’t see. Coffee in the room but nothing to stir it with or condiments to put in it and not to mention it was placed on the shelf in closet area. Very disappointed and unhappy with this stay the worst part was the smell. It was horrible and I won’t stay here ever again!!!!

Arrived at 4 to check in, had to find staff to do so, they were "cleaning" rooms still. Door to room was open, dirty, bathroom dirty, no linens, half used individual toiletries, "stuff" on walls, beds, dust everywhere. Left, went to find another hotel, came back and checked out. Manager said I had to take it up with Expedia. We literally were checked in for 2 hours. There were people hanging around, chairs on top on tables in dining area, showed as PERMANENTLY CLOSED on GPS. Empty vending machines in lobby, it literally looked like they opened just to get $$$$ from those attending the college graduation, myself included.

Vile, frightening and disgusting.

Staff fighting, torn carpets, load noises in the halls, half the lights out. This place has it all!! This includes junkies (and maybe prostitutes I can't be sure) roaming the halls, plus drug deals in the parking lot. I am not kidding. If you still want to stay, enjoy the loaf of bread, half container of milk and Lil' Debbie snack cakes that are put out for you at the complimentary 'breakfast'. But get there early before the Meth-Heads grab them all up. There is no pool. There aren't even towels. It is truly frightening and needs to be torn down. Shame on Hotels.com for allowing this to be booked on this site.

Very rough. Checked in. Got to the room and it wreaked. Contacted hotel staff and they first said they could do nothing. Said we would leave. So they moved to a room not much better and very trashy area. Did not feel safe. Staff wouldn’t do anything. Left 2 paid rooms for several days to stay elsewhere. Just couldn’t stay here!

Check in was supposed to be at 3. When I got there. There were 4 children blocking the entrance on their bikes. I later discovered they are the children of the maid and front desk worker. When I got there at 3:40 she said the room was not ready to give them 15-20 minutes. I waited in the car for 25 minutes and walked inside and it was still not ready. This was after 4pm at this point. We ended up going for dinner and coming back 2 hours later and were able to get in. The rooms were very gross there was no view because there was a trash bag over the window. The tv did not have a remote, I believe they hid it because when I manually turned the tv on it was shattered and unwatchable. The vending machines had no snacks and they had already put breakfast away before it was even 9am. Would not recommend staying here at all. Even if you need to go over a town it would be better than staying here. Also the door locking was very unstable I did not feel comfortable staying here. I should have just got a motel.

Needs lots of help

Reserved 2queen beds got a full size and a pull out shower rod broken hair on toilet tv didn’t work pool broke. Changed to another room they had no rooms that I requested ended up with the same type full size and a pull out overheard workers say they had found 6 I assume bed bugs so far sheet on pullout had yellow stains was hard to find the people at the front desk when I wanted to ask for a refund even Hotels.com didn’t get an answer after 3 tries

OMG - Gross

This place is absolutely awful. Check-in was fine and then we entered the room. The room had an old musky odor and carpet was stained. When checking the room out, there were stains on both comforters, food, or what we thought was food, was plastered on the wall and mirror was not cleaned. We had an event to go to so we left. On the drive to our event, we decided that we are not staying in that hole and booked the Quality Inn in Anderson. We’ve stayed there before and knew it would suit our needs.

At check in the lady wasn't very pleasant. When I asked why the amount I was charged was different than what I was told, she tells me there's a 2.50 fee for credit card processing. Who still charges the consumer a processing fee? We got to the room and I immediately began checking the room for cleanliness and bed bugs. Kudos to the housekeeping staff! The room was exceptionally clean! The rooms are older and it's easy to tell that but for what you pay it can't be beat. The bed was comfortable as well! Breakfast was a little disappointing. Oh and we booked a king room for two guests but there was only one towel and one wash cloth and no bath mat. The young lady who worked later in the evening was much friendlier.

The hotel itself is perfect if you’re on a business trip (like myself). But the staff, absolutely terrible. My first night, the attendant appeared to be drunk. Arguing in front of your customer, while on the job, not very professional. Another night, I waited almost 30 minutes at the front desk for the attendant. Only to be rudely argued with because he wasn’t present. Come to find out, it was actually the manager. I will be making a corporate complaint because it’s just unacceptable. If you’re in this kind of service, you’re expected to provide it. The cost and room are absolutely affordable and accommodating. The staff is not suitable to represent the hotel at all.

Disappointing

Heat was off in roof when i arrived, it was below freezing outside. There were no towels or cups in the room. The hair dryer did not work. One of the beds did not fit on the frame causing it to tip to one side when i sat on the edge of the bed

Look elsewhere...

This is not somewhere I would ever stay again. The only reason I gave one star was because the lady working the front desk was friendly. We arrived at 7PM and it was about 40 degrees outside and there was no heat turned on in the room, there were also no towels in the room... they delivered when I called. The paint in the bathroom was peeling off the ceiling in many areas, the curtains were hanging off, there was a stain on the bed spread and the lamp had crusty dirt on it. The bathroom was mostly clean are were the bed linens which is the reason I stayed. I was also travelling with a young child and didn't want to start looking, not be able to find something and then have to convince them this was safe to stay.

Not great, but we only stayed 1 night.

Wasn't very clean. Front seat was not friendly. We had to ask for extra bedding, pillows, and towels as we had 4 people in a room but those items were not provided. The housekeeper lady was very friendly and helpful when getting the extra items for us. Our room needed a good cleaning and a few things fixed that would be simple, if they'd take the time. (Toilet paper holder, and curtains falling off the rod.)

College visit

We got to our room and couldn't wait to relax in the bed . My daughter gets on hers and it almost fell to the floor on one side ( she had to stay in the middle of the bed to keep from moving) i proceed to get in mine and it does the same i thought i was going to fall to the floor thank god my husband helped even it out but bam he gets up to go to the bathroom and i held on for dear life (room #125) if we didnt have such a long day id have asked for a room change. My husband then was changed and headed to enjoy the pool and to our surprise it was drained. Breakfast was oatmeal cream pies,instant oatmeal and waffles needless to say not very continental so we checked out early to find a real Breakfast that didnt included oatmeal cream pies

I checked in at 5:30pm, put my suitcase in the room and left for an event. Came back at 9:30pm, the room had a weird smell, the sheets were stained, and had a huge wolf spider by the door. I was refused a refund because it was after 9pm. I checked out and stayed somewhere else. Not much by way of customer service. The lady at the front desk just said "OK", like she couldn't be bothered by my complaints, didn't even offer an apology. Needless to say I will never stay there again.

Quality Inn- where is the quality?

They offered breakfast but what was truly breakfast? Taking a shower felt like I was going to fall through the tub. Pool was closed and so was the workout room. No business center. This is my second and last time doing a quality Inn. These hotels are only good if you’re just passing through town.

Hello, are you open???

I wasn’t even sure if this hotel was open when we got inside. There were many rooms that were used for storage with the doors open stains on the bedsheets when you went down for breakfast all the chairs were on top of the tables and you had to put them down on the floor. Thank God it was only a one day trip… Won’t be coming back to this hotel! Called is the front desk for a wake up call and let it ring 20 times. Still no one answered.

This property advertised a pool, but the pool was closed and they still charge full price, should have chosen a different hotel... I will next time

Nobody is ever at the front counter to check in, the room was extremely dirty, where we had to go buy cleaning supplies to clean it ourselves. The carpet had dust falls all over and there was nasty hair everywhere in the bathroom we thought by having a free breakfast, it would even it out, the coffee was ice cold and almost pure water and there was barely any items for breakfast. We ended up going to McDonald’s. It said there was a pool and upon getting there they said the pool was not open. The hallways were covered with food and large crumbs everywhere i just wanted to lock myself in my room until morning . All of the vending machines had maybe one item in them and only took cash and there’s no ATM. I very much wish I paid the extra money to go to the Marriott down the street.

I don’t ever write reviews and this place made me want to.. at one point housekeeping came and took our towels and didn’t replace them. We had to go to the front desk to ask for them only to find out there were none so we had to wait until the next morning. In the AM we went to ask the front desk about towels again and they were extremely rude at which point we were asked to retrieve them from housekeeping ourselves! Unbelievable! The ice box in our room looked as if it had been urinated in and not cleaned as well as the carpet had fuzz balls on it that looked like human hair.. would NEVER stay here again!

Not that great

Walked into a dirty room. I found a dirty towel and past guest shirt left behind. No towels were available. Asked hotel worker for more towels and they never gave me any towels the whole week I was there. Damp room, lights we burnt out or one light was working. Not a good experience. Definitely don’t recommend. That’s why the price was cheap.

Disgusting

It was the worst place i have ever stayed. Carpet was filthy. Big black sticky spots, no towel bar, no luggage stand. Something was on the carpet that was full of ants. And one of the ice machines closest to my room was broke and the pool was not available. Didnt know the area or i would have looked else where.

Avoid this "Quality" Inn

My stay was because of a conference, and many members of my conference were staying here. I heard similar complaints from all of them. We all reported them with no results. There was no quality in this "Quality" Inn. Not one member of my group (multiple rooms) had a hot (or even warm!) shower any of the three mornings we were there. Among many concerns-my room smelled heavily of cigarette smoke, the bathroom door was broken, there was no tp holder, and the shower curtain rod was falling out of the wall. Housekeeping took out the garbage and replaced a towel, but did not replace coffee or anything else and everything in the room was covered in a thick layer of dust.

Save you money and book elsewhere.

Not sure where to start…. Got into town a little early but they wouldn’t let me check in 1/2 hr early….not a big deal Had to put my shoulder into room door to get it to open and it wouldn’t close on its own. The pool was closed for maintenance and the ice machine didn’t work. Went to make coffee the next morning and there was a moldy tea bag in coffee pot. Went to lobby to get coffee and it was cold out of the pot. Continental breakfast was toast, oatmeal cream pie’s or waffles but out of syrup. Only good thing I can say is that the bed was comfy and I slept like a dcrago@comcast.net.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They did what they could to resolve in any issues. That was the highlight of the stay. Booked a suite for the night for my daughter's college graduation. The room was DIRTY. Chain was broke off the door, shower rod was just hanging there in the wall and stains all over the walls. Room had a sleeper sofa with no sheets, blankets or pillows available. Only had two pillows period for the room. Desk lamp was not working. Once again, the staff did the best they could to resolve problems.

Worse service and hotel

I did not arrive until 8p.m check in was suppose to be room ready at 3. The room had not been cleaned and they made us wait in the lobby. They put clean sheets on, no towels and the carpet was not vacuumed. There was crunchy stuff all over the floor. When we got to the room the cleaning lady said sorry that’s the best she could do she had just been told to clean this room as we checked in. After 10 pm and three calls down asking for the towels and a pillow my granddaughter went down and was given two towels and our pillow was a pillow case with sheets stuffed in it. They did not greet me, thank me or help me in anyway and when I asked for my receipt they were out of paper. I talked to the manger and for $200.00 this was terrible service and he said I just work here and no refunds for any reason. I did not sleep and was heartbroken this was my granddaughter graduation weekend from Ball State. The pool was under maintenance and the night before we had stayed at the Hampton and it was so nice!

Pool was closed, didn’t know until after we checked in. Could not access workout room. Room was unlocked on more than one occasion. There was trash and dirty clothes found in our room. Tv had no remote. Otherwise the location is great, guest services was friendly but it would’ve been nice to know the amenities were not available when we booked. Will not stay here again.

No Pool available, needs a deep cleaning.

When we arrived we found that the hotel was not as expected. There was no pool, the room we booked was not available, the hallway carpet did not look as it had been vacuumed in days and there was a spot on the couch that looked questionable. We chose to stay elsewhere.

Check in person was un pleasant. Check in was fast which I appreciated, however he acted put out when I asked which entrance is closest to our room, so we would know where to park. Also, I suppose since I forgot to ask what the times were for breakfast in the am, he didn’t offer any information about that or anything else.Very disappointing.

The suite was fine and in an quiet side area of the hotel. Seemed to be some renovations going on, which is always a good thing overall. I needed a hair dryer and one was not in the room, but the staff found one for me. Nice staff and easy checkin and check out. Room was clean and quiet. That was nice.

Overall a decent stay, especially for the price. The staff was not the most friendly during this visit. I asked for a late checkout and even after they gave me the okay, the next morning a staff member was literally pounding at my door telling me to leave. He was very short with me even when I agreed to pack up and leave.

The first room reeked of mold and had pretzels and garbage all over the floor and chair. The front desk clerk switched my room, but did not say a word to me and acted inconvenienced. The next room had a large broken mirror precariously propped on the floor and a feminine napkin covering the door's peep hole. An outlet plate was dangling off the wall. The AC unit gave off a chemical smell and had to be kept off, though the room was hot. The pillows and chair felt damp from humidity. The water from the sink had a foul odor, so we used water bottles to brush our teeth and avoided showering. The mattress was not well supported (broken frame?), so the whole bed tilted.

Disgusting

This hotel is extremely over priced for the quality of the rooms and overall atmosphere. Will never stay here again. Walking into the room you can instantly smell water damage, a gross musty smell. The toilet was stained and honestly I didn’t want to use it. Stains on the pillow cases. The lamp was disgusting and also had some unknown stains on it that also were on the walls. The worst part was seeing a cockroach crawling on the wall! Can’t believe you’re charging people to stay there. The hallway walls were noticeably cracking and paint was chipping everywhere and there were random purple stains on the carpet. 0/10. See photos, wish I took more…

Minimal stuff at breakfast bar. The pool was under construction. We needed to ask for a shower curtain because ours did not have one, and the bed was not attached to the base, so when we sat down the whole thing came up. They did fix it upon request and they brought us a shower curtain.

Check in was very easy, our room appeared to be up to standards until two of us sat in the bed and the bed tipped to one side and we fell. We righted the bed ourselves and didn’t say anything until checkout. I was afraid to move all night. At checkout when we mentioned it he just said bed frames do that and he started to draw me a picture of a bed frame. I told him I don’t need an explanation on bed frames it should never tip on a customer he was lucky no one was injured. I will never again stay in a quality inn.

Good visit

I usually stay at Days Inn that is nearby, but because of an ant problem the previous 2 visits, I tried Quality. Was impressed by lobby and room condition. Only downside was some doors not working and the RV and vehicle on a jack parked in the back. Didn't think that was a good look. I will return.

Not very clean!!!

The room wasn’t very clean. Stains inside the toilet and bathtub not clean. The refrigerator was dirty inside. One of the two lamps in our suite was clearly damaged and didn’t work.
