It was pretty good overall, the staff was nice and housekeeping came to clean daily and it's was a good stay

Motel not a hotel. Old and the breakfast was very limited.

The hotel was more like a motel.I didnt like the access to the outside which wasn't shown on the site. The rooms are outdated. The bath tub was rusted out. The mattress cover had a huge yellow stain on it. I was supposed to stay for 5 nights but i checked out in 3, I couldn't take it anymore. Neither ice machines worked. And the fridge in the room wasnt cold.

Booked last minute for a basketball tournament. Good price and clean room. Only complaint was the free breakfast. Black coffee, waffles and cereal were the options. No juice or butter or creamer or any pastry/toast/bagel or anything. Two containers of yogurt in the fridge. Just not much to choose from.

While everything was in decent condition, all furnishings and finishes were of low quality. Bedsheets, blankets, some of the pillows were just folded up blankets in a pillowcase. The couch was small and uncomfortable, the TV could not be viewed easily from the sitting area. Breakfast was non-existent, a wafflemaker and coffee and dry cereals is about the extent of it. If it's available, then you can get by for a night, but not comfortable for longer stays for sure.

They stop serving breakfast at 9amm

Pretty sure there was a poop smear on the wall in the bathroom. The toilet was incredibly wobbly. There were stains on the towels. And there is a train track like right next to the place, so it can get loud.

The front desk staff is very friendly and accommodating. I have been here for over a month and a half off and on. Its very close to my job and there are lots of things to eat in the same area. This is a different property from my normal, but for the price and the convenience I give it a 10 out of 10.

Sadly had to deal with roaches at the hotel and it was normalized as they should be there. Would not recommend. Breakfast is also basically bagels and cofffee.

What I like was the price and the Staff. What I didn't like was the breakfast options and the train. Other than that will I stay again if need be yes because of the staff and price.

I like the bedroom, but the bathroom in room 109 had a hole in the celling and a roach plus an insect fell in the tub. The small refrigerator in the room did not work, so I was unable to store my items I purchased. I contacted the morning receptionist early in the morning to let her know the conditions of the room, but they were not resolved. She stated I will be moved to another room after housekeeping come to clean the room by 10:00 am and examine the bathroom. I met the housekeeper between 10:00am-11:00am, whereas, I told her about the bathroom condition. She assured that I would be moved to another room upon my return from an appointment I had that morning. However, I returned to my room between 5:00pm-6:00pm. I went to the evening receptionist to get the new room key to the new room, whereas, all hell bust loose. The receptionist became very rude when I told her about unfair charges. I was very professional and calm. She wanted me to return the keys to the room. I told her that I was not going to return the keys until I call my bank to see if those unfair(fraud) charges went through my account, whereas, she not only threatened to call the police, she actually called the police. The police came,whereas, he spoke to her. I only heard some of the conversation, and I think she was not truthful, so I continued to talk to my banker in which she verified the fraud charges. I returned to her the keys and I took the receipt. I left the premise.

Deposits are required

The overall stay went well. Staff were polite and respectful , however I do feel as though it should be noted that $75 deposits are required at the time of arrival. This isn’t noted anywhere until you arrive and well policy is policy.

I liked how quiet it was and how safe it looked

Customer service was not good at all in the afternoon, i was willing to stay longer and the response from the receptionist was that i couldnt because i had to pay ANOTHER deposit, when the only thing she needed to do was to renew my stay for more days

Honest and true

We had a few small plumbing issues, but nothing more than that. We did arrive just about 1 week after Beryl. But cleanliness needs help inside the rooms. Slamming doors by guests is an issue.

The pool was green.. no vending machines..no blankets… not enough towels… could hear people walking around upstairs of our room

I never stayed at the property, power to the house was connected before we could check in.

Overall, I was pleased with the room and the cleanliness. Staff was great and helpful. I was, however, disappointed with the television in the room. The TV is obviously older, which is fine, but there was a white line that went entirely through the the viewing screen vertically and the reception was not good on a lot of the channels. The other issue with the TV was the channel line up. There was not really anything good to watch. Did not even have Netflix or any movie channels.

The property is close to restaurants and 290. The room, although spacious, had a big hole in the wall, damp carpeting, and cigarette burned out holes in the comforters.

Deceived by the pictures.. won’t come back. Breakfast options are horrible compared to similar properties

Terrible experience

The room smelled so bad, flying bugs didn’t let me and my family sleep, we had to cancel reservations next day early morning, yeti was charged for the night plus cancellation fees. I showed the front disk a picture of the flying bugs on my bed. Never again

Good Stay

The overall stay was amazing. The cleanliness of the room was one of the best I've seen. The staff was friendly and professional. I wish there was no additional deposit. No matter how the booking was booked i should not have to pay. If there are other fees for the hotel it should say so upfront before submission of payment.

Good place to stay .Lots of restaurants and food places nearby. Highly recommended.

The rooms are spacious. The area has a lot of restaurants nearby. iHop and Black Bear Diner, and a couple of restaurants are loterslly behind the hotel. Unfortunately the breakfast options are VERY limiyed. But overall, i enjoyed my stay.

If need a night to crash and reasonable price this is a place but not BF, should have some protein in it, just boiled eggs still better than nothing. Overall the place is livable to crash for one night

Bad Room Deposit Policy

The CC deposit for possible room damage is bad policy since can be subject to fraud if the hotel forgets to cancel the charge - This set-up is not typical at other similar hotels and makes me uncomfortable

The hotel is near a freeway and a very large farm to market road and I expected a lot of noise, but it must be well insulated because I didn’t hear a thing. The rooms are large and nicely apportioned. Everything worked in the room. I appreciated how courteous the staff was. It is a slighter older hotel than the others nearby, but it is well kept. There are a few rust stains here and there but no major marks are gouges in walls. If I need to stay in the area again, I’ll definitely stay here, especially since it is so much less expensive.

Comfortable Stay

Hotel is relatively clean, and comfortable considering how cheap it is. We stayed for one night while driving through Texas. It was perfectly comfortable for one night. Only problem was the hotel’s proximity to the train tracks.

I liked how clean the room was. I didn't like the fact their breakfast was very basic and not as described. Plus, don't refill their menu.

Room smelled like cigarettes even though it was a non-smoking room. The bathtub was clogged, everytime I showered, the tub would fill up over my feet. Staff is the only reason I’d even rate this hotel. They were very nice and welcoming.

Listen, I simply needed this place to stay on Thanksgiving evening, as I did not want to drive back home for three hours. It was quiet and comfortable. But it smelled a bit moldy/musty. The bathtub shower curtain was very moldy and a lot of rust and mildew stains, in the shower as well. Other than that not a bad place to sleep for the evening as it’s located right off the freeway and close to everything. Not a horrible place just needs a little TLC and a little more cleanliness. With that being said, I would stay there again Overnight. Parking was plentiful and easy.

It was as expected until I got to the bathroom and saw that the bottom of the door 🚪 is was missing part and looked ugly. This may only be for that unit. They could also have done a better job with the shower curtain.

This property is well situated near shoppings mall and restaurant, the breakfast was average but better than a piece of oatmeal or coffee, nice swimming pool and the weight room as well, staff very friendly and housekeeping was superb (they only clean the third day you check in) but I’d not in downtown Houston so it’s more relaxed and friendly

Property was great! Besides the drainage system in the shower, this hotel worked great for my one night in town! Will definitely consider again for emergency trips.

Was in for celebration of life from out of town. Price was good. If I knew area I would of picked diff hotel. Rm had a musty old smell. Slept first nite and when pulling lite blanket over me noticed couple small blood stains grossed me out so didn’t have blanket first nite reporting it next morn to clerk. Went to brkfst Jr after it opened at 7am no bananas just apples said they were out from day before. When you eat plain cornflakes I like bananas in cereal not apples so mgr should have went to get some . Not much choices no muffins or pastries just waffle yogurts and cereal. OJ Juice was out in pitcher clerk or someone should of been cking eating area making sure it was stocked being so early starting of brkfst time. Great restaurants close by though.

I liked that the property is in a great location, close to the Houston premium outlets. Also, there are many restaurants around the hotel, and the room was very confortable, with a nice couch, huge bed, nice TV, and a desk to work in the computer if necessary.

I really like it here, there have been no incidents and the it's pretty quiet.... Several restaurants walking distance.... The staff is great, the maid don't ever bother you if you use do not disturb sign. All around the price is affordable and out stay has been nice! Only thing I would like to see are kitchenettes.....

The housekeeper never cleaned my bathroom. She would just pick the towels up,and she never vacuum the carpet. I even gave her a tip ,but nothing changed. She's a nice person, but she doesn't have cleaning skills or maybe she just didn't care. Overall the property was kept up very nice.

Microwave was obviously broken upon arrival and I had to request a new one to be brought in. Everyone was very kind in meeting my needs, but it was shocking that I was even given a room with broken appliances.
