Clean and comfy stay. Well positioned and swimming pool and spa a bonus!

Everything is excellent except noise from top of building if stay on ground rooms.

This motel is the best motel my wife and i have ever stayed in, everything was just perfect. Staff very pleasant even when we asked if it was possible to have a ground floor owing to my wife's disability. Not only did they accommodate us with a ground floor unit, they up graded us to a Grand suite at no extra expense. This has been our second stay and will definitely stay again the next time we visit Shepparton.

The room was fine to stay as guests for a nearby wedding, however the room was run down and gloomy. Hotel staff were very accommodating in allowing us an early check in and a late check out.

From bad to good to bad again

The first room I was provided had faeces splattered on a wall so I was given an upgrade and the second room was amazing. Unfortunately the porterhouse steak I ordered was completely dried out and virtually inedible.

Quiet friendly staff with excellent dining facility

I booked this motel as it had a lift and my daughter has mobility problems. The lift is only available during business hours. On Sunday it closed at 4.30pm was really inconvenient.

We loved the room, very spacious, clean and in great condition. Parking very easy and on site. Restaurant was OK, food was average and wine choice very limited. No bar to relax in.

The check in and out staff was rude. She should Not be there becaues she did not customer care but simply applying the tules of the $200 fixed deposit rather how and why it is necessary to apply and when and how the deposit to be refunded. I think the hotel staff should inspect the room at check out whilst the guest is checking out.

The place is in central location.

Ideally situated and well appointed. Only downside was the outside bar area was noisy but this was because of the road not anything the hotel could have done. Definitely would stay again.

Didn’t like no microwave in room or toaster need these things when you’re away three days and didn’t like the grab a park wherever you can policy each room should have a parking spot reserved

We have stayed here before and it was great. It’s our first choice when we come to Shepparton. Check in staff were fabulous!

Could have been better

Couple of things were a letdown to an otherwise nice venue, such as the used soap in the shower and dirty towel on the floor.

Room was clean, bed was comfy, staff were friendly. Kids loved having the park and lake right across the road. The only negative, the pool was absolutely freezing!! I know it’s an indoor pool but some heating would be good. It meant that kids and adults were all crowded into the spa. Will definitely stay again though!

The property is clean and tidy and well appointed but becoming a little dated, still good value for money. Close to town and within walking distance of parks and dining.

Excellent but,

Room & service were excellent. If you get a room near the highway you get a lot of traffic noise. Needs sound proofing.

Without any doubt the most impressive feature of our stay at the Park lake was the attitude of ALL the staff we met. Bar, Restaurant, Reception and Security staff we were lucky enough to deal with were AMAZING; friendliness 12/10, buoyant and happy 12/10, helpful 12/10. HIGHLY IMPRESSIVE !!

Only thing was booked 3 bed room thru expedia and hotel hadn't received book amd supplyed a twin double beds

Good location, the restaurant was closed by 8pm on a Friday night tho, room was near the staircase and was noisy.

Staff were quite accommodating

I have stayed at Hotel Park lake on a number of occasions and it has always been a very pleasant and easy to manage stay. It is well situated close to everything, easy for car access and has wonderful views over the lake.

Overall, this was an average experience, I do not feel that it was value for money, even though we required a disability accessible room I felt at $200 per night it was overpriced. During our trip we were able to stay at Major Chain hotels in capital cities with better quality for considerably less expense. It was nice enough, but I will be looking for other options next time we travel to Shepperton.

All good except for the heating which did not work very well

Shower rail fell off old fashioned plastic curtain toaster provided but no plates or cutlery thats odd otherwise ok

The place is closed to shop and the lake across the road which is big bonus. Happy to recommend and definitely will be back.

We Stayed in a grand suite which was a great size and was nicely furnished and modern. Had two big TVs, a microwave, fridge and kettle as well as a full complement of crockery which was a great touch. Unfortunately the sound proofing even for a back room (off the main road) isn’t great. Our room backed onto a car park and was quite noisy when cars came and there was also an extremely noisy generator that came on and off periodically which was very loud. The foot traffic past the suite door was also really audible and could disturb a light sleeper. Shower and bathroom were huge but very cold (could use it’s own heater) but the towels were soft and the amenities were nice. There were no robes which would be an easy thing to add particularly to the suite rooms. I would’ve also liked to book a room and breakfast rate but there wasn’t one which I thought was very odd for a decent hotel.

Clean and fresh Close to everything

Staff were fabulous! My husband left his wallet in the draw when we checked out! I rang reception, they went and found it then expressed post it to our house! We are very thankful for their efforts!

It was a very nice place to stay at

Great place to stay, however, i don't recommend the restaurant as my steak with a seafood sauce was nowhere worth the money $58. It was a scotch belted out to a centermeter and dried out, the sauce had only two prawns. My wife's dinner was cold.

Great place

Staff were very friendly and helpful, wasn't an issue to change rooms as the first room only had a sofa bed for our son. Room was big enough to move without tripping over each other, and beds comfortable for a good nights sleep. Even though our room faced the main hwy, could not hear any traffic noise. Would happily stay again if in the area, just wish they would have the option to include breakfast in the room rate.

A comfortable and conveniently located place to stay whilst in Shepparton. The restaurant serves great food and the breakfast buffet was delicious! I chose Parklake for its proximity to the lake and it didn't disappoint.

We were there during public holidays, location is good and quiet.

The room itself was relatively clean, however there was no Netflix, no ability to cast to the tv from technology that had Netflix and the spa bath didn’t work. Not an enjoyable stay for nearly $200 a night

Excellent accommodation Large room, comfy bed, nice bathroom. Wonderful friendly reception staff. Only negatives which aren’t huge TV no HD stations and shower in bath. Definitely would stay again

This property is close to the lake and has a fantastic pool, spa, and sauna like no other I've ever seen, which is also located near to bbq and grassed area. We only stayed for one night but wished you had more time to enjoy ourselves.

A great place to stay in Shepparton

This is a good well located hotel with great service

Very comfortable room. A couple of gripes: I asked reception to put a freezer brick in a freezer the motel, as it wouldn’t fit into the tiny freezer section in he bar fridge. When I went to pick it up next morning, it hadn’t been stored in a freezer and I was told they didn’t have one - seemed rather odd as they had a restaurant and offered breakfast. This was the only motel this happened to me in two weeks of travelling in regional Victoria. The other issue is that there are a few trip hazards getting from the carpark area to the motel rooms: I almost fell over the unmarked lip on the walkway up from the parking area in the dark.

Good location

A pleasant stay

Had a great stay. The 2 bedroom apartment was great for us to spread out. The kitchenette, and the bathtub was nice to have as well. My only issue was the outside traffic/train noise, but that wasn’t too bad.

Booked this place for the pool and pool is not heated, that was disappointing also pricing was in us dollars thought I was getting a room for $286 for 2 nights but got charged $410. Not very transparent

Great location across the road from the park and a great leisure centre with indoor pool (freezing), spa, sauna and gym. Family room needs some maintenance/design work and it was quite noisy from neighbouring room (and cigarette smoke from neighbouring guests). A bit expensive for the quality

Lady at the reception was very nice and helpful. Room is quite big and clean. Location is great - near the lake, playground and restaurants.

We were happy to get a ground floor room as we are elderly and have been travelling for weeks so had a lot of luggage. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable. We enjoyed the use of the spa and the restaurant. Provision of a guest laundry was appreciated especially as we still have a week of travelling.

Room was on 3ed floor check in was delayed by an hour tv in room was not very good room was very hot even with aircon on not very kid friendly not no breakfast or dinner

The size of the room, the cleanliness, the staff snd the restaurant. Close to main shopping and across from the lake.

The location was excellent, opposite lake and parkland and very close to eating establishments and other shops.

Overpriced for what you get! Noting special, rooms older and dated, need facelift! Our shower head was broken, as well as our towel rack. Tv remote buttons were missing, small things I know but when you spend $200 on a room for the night you expect it to be a little nicer
